Talented, professional and kind

Melissa and Lindsay were a dynamic duo that beautified and pampered me and my bridesmaids on my wedding day. Both of them are incredibly talented. Let’s start from the beginning. I was a covid bride the kind that postponed in 2020 and rescheduled the following year. Melissa was very understanding and flexible even though a change like that is hard on her business. We appreciated her willingness to work with us despite this disruption. (But we notified her 4 months before the original date so dont abuse her flexibility if you end up in my situation). Then when we got to summer of 2021, i had my first consultation with these ladies and the vibes were on point. So friendly, kind and professional. Later, i changed my mind and wanted to go for a slightly more glam look than the natural one I initially wanted. I went to Melissa’s studio (so cute!!) and she nailed it! Also she squeezed me in during a very busy week. She rocks! On the wedding day, Melissa and Lindsay felt like a part of the bridal group - so fun. They worked on me and 7 bridesmaids and made us look so beautiful. They did a wide range of makeup and hair styles on us and everyone looked gorgeous. Also, i basically had a panic attack when it was my turn in the chair because reality set in that I was about to host a huge event and one that had significant meaning - marrying my best friend. Melissa talked me down and helped me reset. We finished all our make up and hair in time for pre-ceremony photos. I cant thank these two women enough. Highly recommend!!!

Amazing Wedding Makeup Artist

I had the pleasure of working with Melissa as my wedding makeup artist, and I couldn't have been more impressed. From the moment she arrived, she created such a fun and relaxed atmosphere while we were getting ready, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Melissa was incredibly flexible and professional, ensuring that everything was exactly how I wanted. My makeup looked absolutely stunning and lasted all night, which was a huge relief on such an important day. She accommodated a few last minute changes with my bridesmaids as well! I highly recommend Melissa to anyone looking for a talented and personable makeup artist!

Loved it! Definitely worth the money!

We all loved our hair and makeup for our wedding! They were so flexible on location and timing that day, and really kept the vibe calm and relaxed. Plus all of our hair and makeup looked great!

Amazing Hair and Make up team!

Melissa and her team Kaydee, Courtney and Lindsay were amazing! I had a big group of 14 ladies and they crushed it. Timing was great, everything was well organized and of course everyone looked stunning. Melissa was wonderful to work with. Quick to respond, helped with any questions or concerns I had and worked on pricing with me with all of the different needs of my ladies. I highly recommend her to any future brides or anyone needing hair and make up done of any occasion!

Wonderful experience!

Melissa and Lindsay arrived early to get setup. They talked with each one of us to get an idea of the hair and makeup looks we wanted for the photo shoot. Both Melissa and Lindsay were super personable and fun to work with. They listened to what we wanted and delivered! The hair and makeup looked fantastic and lasted the entire shoot. Highly recommend!

Beautiful work and AMAZING energy

I don’t know where to start… when I reached out to her, she was in contact with me that day. She was open to doing a conference call with me and my mom and we bombarded her with questions which she was so very patient in answering.

When she arrived she explained my options, giving her professional suggestion but left room for me to decide and even change my mind.
I was so impressed with not only her work as my make up was soooo beautiful but her energy is everything!
She did everything in her power to clam me down from my nervousness and succeeded!

Wonderful!

Melissa was wonderful to work with! Unfortunately my wedding was cancelled because of Covid, but Melissa was flexible and generous enough to apply my deposit towards a future date! Melissa even came off of maternity leave early to accommodate me! She did a great job and would absolutely recommend her to any future brides to be!

Princess for a Day

Having Melissa and Lindsey do hair and makeup was like hanging out with your besties. We did a trial run several months prior and that gave us the opportunity to get to know each other a little better which made getting ready for the real day so much more fun. They even conspired with me to plan an ambush for my then fiance. I was pleased with their suggestions and the end results were so worth having professionals on the big day. They made me feel like a princess!

Melissa and Megan are fantastic!

Melissa (makeup) and Megan (hair) were both fantastic! I was having a hard time trying to find makeup/hair vendors to travel to my location and that I met their minimum number of people. With my smaller wedding party, only 3 people were getting hair and/or makeup done and my wedding was at 10a. It was a must for me and my girls to have someone come to us since we were starting so early in the morning. Melita Artistry did not require a minimum number of people and they traveled to my venue (South Seas Island resort)! The pricing for both hair and makeup were very reasonable and affordable. For Bride Hair half up do and Airbrush Makeup on the day of the wedding, it was under $400 (not including tip). Melissa and Megan make a great team. They are very sweet, professional and they do not leave until you are 100% happy with how you look. If you really want some one to travel to you at a reasonable cost, reach out to Melita Artistry! You will not be disappointed.

Beautiful hair and makeup

Melissa did a great job with my wedding makeup!! She came to my house for a trial and made the adjustments I wanted. She was easy going and flexible, even when last minute two additional people wanted their makeup done. She also brought a partner to do our hair who was fantastic! Everyone looked beautiful!

Very professional

Melissa and her team were awesome! They were able to do my hair and makeup trials for my bridal shower and they were super friendly and professional. They made me feel both comfortable and beautiful and were not offended if I suggested any changes with hair and makeup. I even got to keep a reference sheet of what products were used on my face that I will look back at in the future. They made sure to ask lots of questions to be able to really figure out what I liked. I loved how the makeup was both glam and natural and I still looked like myself for my wedding day. I highly recommend Melita Artistry!!

Melissa and Lindsey had come to the JW Marriott on Marco Island to do my makeup and hair for my wedding along with bridesmaids, groom's mom and flower girls. I had done a hair and make up trial prior to my wedding and they arrived on time where I had been staying as well as coming to the wedding location for the day of the event. Both Melissa and Lindsey were awesome, so personable, accommodating and patient with everyone (including myself). My hair and makeup came out great along with all the other members of my wedding party. I would highly recommend using Melita Artistry for a wedding or another momentous event. Melita Artistry provided excellent hair and make-up services for my wedding. Melissa and Megan came to our hotel and were timely and professional. Our wedding had particular challenges (postponement and rescheduling due to a natural disaster) and Melissa was kind and flexible with rescheduling. I don't wear much make-up and didn't give her much to go off of, but she still managed to capture exactly what I was hoping for, just by talking with me. I was planning the wedding from out of town, so we didn't conduct any trials, but the make-up and hair for myself and my wedding party was great.

I planned my wedding from Sweden
, which means that Melissa and I couldn't meet before the wedding. I had to send pictures of make up style that I liked and hope that she would understand what I meant. On my wedding day I was so nervous! I had never met Melissa or the hairstylist she arranged for me. The only thing they had was photos of different hairstyles and makeup styles. Both Melissa and Meghan nailed it! I couldn't be happier. They both understood exactly my vision! The make up and hairdo was perfect during the entire wedding day, even though we had the ceremony and photo shoot at the beach in the summer heat. Melissa did my bridesmaid make up, along with the bride and fellow bridesmaids. Melissa and her assistant, Sierra, drove across Florida to do our makeup and they worked effortlessly together. Melissa and her crew were very friendly and knowledgeable! My makeup stayed on all night even through the crying during the wedding ceremony! She made sure she met all of our needs, asked what we liked and disliked. She also made sure to stick around long enough to do last minute touch-ups. We all did the airbrush makeup which came out flawless! She also gave us tips and tricks for making our makeup last all night long. I highly recommend Melita Artistry for your makeup and hair needs for any special event.

Melissa Melita was so wonderful! She created a unique look for each woman based on their wants (from evening glam to natural). Everyone looked stunning all night and our looks even lasted through the Florida humidity. I requested a natural look and it looked beautiful. I was most impressed by how she talked though her process as she applied the makeup, keeping her clients informed, showing us tips, and asking us questions along the way to ensure that our final look matched 100% what we wanted. She even left time at the end for quick touch-ups! After getting my make-up done, I usually end up fixing the look, but there was no need with Melissa's job! Melissa is so sweet and I would hire her in an instant again!

I am so happy I used Melita Artistry for my wedding hair and makeup - I highly recommend! My makeup was done by Melissa and my hair was done by Michelle - they did an amazing job. I wasn't totally sure of what I wanted but they came prepared for anything and everything at my trial - they were so great helping me find the perfect makeup look and hair style, I also loved that they listened to me and what I liked and wanted to do. On my wedding day they were at my hotel and ready to start on time. Not everyone got both their hair and makeup done but Melissa did a great job putting together a timeline so everyone knew when they had to be in the room ready to go and everything ran so smoothly. My hair and makeup turned out perfectly - my makeup was so light I didn't even feel like I had anything on yet it statyed on all night and my hair stay up and in place through the outdoor ceremony, pictures on the beach and dancing the night away!

I used Melita Artistry for hair and makeup on my wedding day and I'm so happy I found them. I was planning a destination wedding in a city I had never even been to and Melissa was fantastic. She always responded swiftly and answered all my questions. It was great that her service could just come straight to my door because the wedding day is busy and the less driving around the better. Seeing as I didn't have time to do a trial I was really nervous about what she would do but both her and her hair assistant were amazing at what they do. I just explained what I was looking for and they worked their magic and made me look and feel confident and beautiful. My bridesmaids also loved their hair and makeup. I'm so glad I found them and I was grateful for their work as well as friendly nature to help put me at ease on such a big and important day!

The makeup and hair services provided from Melissa and her team were beyond amazing! They met us on location at the Marriott Marco Island which was very easy and convenient for us all. She arrived with her fierce briefcases of professional makeup and wide variety of shades and eyelashes too. Her bubbly and friendly personality made it more fun while the time flew by. She knew exactly what I wanted and even did some touch ups before she left as well as two other bridesmaids makeup. I was very pleased with the outcome and went with the airbrushed makeup. I was so excited about my updo too. Thinking I needed to use my extensions (but didn't), her stylist captured a masterpiece that I could never of have pulled off alone. She ratted, curled, pinned and twisted and created a rocking look that I loved. If I could post pictures I would! She was a pleasure to work with as well. Thanks Melita Artistry and Happy Holidays!

Melissa was awesome! As a general manager of a wedding venue, I've seen some makeup nightmares in the past, however Melita Artistry is nothing but a dream come true! Between her and the hair stylist, the bridal party looked AMAZING. I have never had airbrush for makeup, but I suggest it! My makeup lasted all day and night. Heck, I woke up the next morning with my hair still in place! They were a great duo and I highly recommend the services. They were professional, yet personable, but most importantly made all the bridesmaids look great. I would highly recommend her for any and all events. Lets just say she is not on my preferred vendors list at my venue :)

I was PLEASANTLY surprised with the professionalism and skill of Melita Artistry. I have been planning my destination wedding for almost a year and had gone out to Florida one time before the wedding. I didn't think a trial run would be necessary but my mom talked me in to visiting her stylist (NOT Melita Artistry) for a trial run. The results were AWFUL and I added something else to my "worry list" that wasn't there. I had searched and searched and between 6 other vendors, I chose Melita Artistry and was SO GLAD I DID! Melissa was SO reassuring and was very calming during the time we had her moments before I walked down the aisle. She did my hair and make up, my 2 bridesmaids, 1 flower girl, mother, grandmother and mother in law. She did all this within 3 hours so we had plenty of time to spare! I would not recommend ANYWHERE else other than Melita Artistry!!!

Melissa was so easy to work with. I must have emailed her a million questions as well as spilling my whole life story to her. She was always friendly and professional. One the day of the wedding there was a team of three which was good because there were 11 of us getting hair and make up done. They did a great job. We did have to touch my hair up with a curling iron after we arrived at the venue, stupid humidity! Overall great experience and would recommend them to others!

I was referred to Melissa by my photographer Joe Capasso. Melissa and her team did the hair and makeup for myself and my bridesmaids for my destination wedding. Absolutely unbelievable and pure perfection ! I rarely trust anyone when it comes to having another person applying my makeup. Melissa made my experience both special and informative. While taking her time applying she also explains in detail what she is doing and her passion for her work is evident. I am just so happy I found an amazing makeup artist for anything that might come up in the future. Thank you !

Melissa was fantastic! We had 4 women in the wedding party and my sister the bride, and everyone has very different styles and preferences for hair and make-up. They were able to make each of us look beautiful and still like ourselves. We also had a lot of back and forth with the schedule and Melissa was very accommodating. Both hair and make-up was superb and we enjoyed the company of both women while we were getting ready for the special day!

Fun and Professional

Melita was fun and professional at the same time. She made the bridesmaids and bride feel relaxed. After showing her pictures of what I was looking for, she was able to make my makeup look unique but similar to the style I was hoping for. I was very pleased with the entire experience!

Wedding party prep

Melissa and her hairdresser were extremely well prepared for the n site makeup and hair prep for my daughter's wedding. She scheduled ahead of time and everyone knew when to be in the chair. Photos were proof of her talent!
