I had an idea for beautiful colors. I called a lot of florists and they couldn’t grasp exactly what I was wanting. I called Melissa and she immediately understood what I was looking for and had so much fun giving me everything I wanted. Our flowers were so fantastic and I’ve preserved them and have them saved in shadow boxes so I can remember them forever. I cannot recommend Melissa enough.

NAILED my vision!
Before I met Melissa on the recommendation from my wedding planner, I knew absolutely nothing about florists or wedding flowers. She was patient and taught me the names of the flowers I showed her from Pinterest inspiration photos and even pulled different pieces she had from the selection in her shop to give me a visual of what different florals would look like together. She also worked to select cost-effective flowers to keep me in budget while still creating a beautiful look. She had the hard task of covering the huge fireplace at Marblegate Farm and her work blew me away. She brought my winter vision to life and absolutely gained my trust. Through our multiple meetings together, it was clear she is professional, organized, and dedicated to what she does. I would recommend her to any and everyone!

Melissa is by far one of if not the best and most caring Florists in Knox! My Bride and (especially) myself are not very versed in the floral arts, but that did not matter during our special day. Melissa knew exactly what we were looking for, and, wow, did she deliver! Every single arrangement was beautiful and precise. One could not find a flaw! I do have to say, my favorite was the hand done bouquet Melissa completed for my bride, and we are still receiving compliments on it to this day from people who weren't even at the wedding! Melissa created the most gorgeous florals for us. During our planning meeting I told her I wanted every shade of pink that made a fun and happy impression. Melissa created that and so much more. The day after my ceremony was spent finding someone to preserve my bouquet because I loved it so much and wanted it to last forever. My bridesmaids all wanted to take theirs home with them, and I received more compliments on the arbor and table centerpieces than anything. Melissa was wonderful in her guidance on what types of flowers fit our personalities, vision, and time of year. I know if I ever need flowers in the future I will be working with Melissa.

One of my favorite things about our wedding!
Melissa did such an amazing job with our wedding flowers! I do not know much about flowers or what colors and arrangements go together best but I knew I wanted real, beautiful pieces for our wedding. I was the most worried about the floral aspect of the wedding & how this would all come together, but Melissa made the process so simple! She always answered any texts or calls when I had last minute ideas or thoughts about everything. We had 2 scheduled calls where she went over her ideas and gave me the time I needed to look up the different types of flowers so I could visualize her creation. She exceeded all of those visuals! My flowers were one of my favorite parts about our wedding! I even had my bouquet preserved so I will be able to keep them forever!
On top of our flower arrangements, we also rented decor from Melissa & our ceremony circle. I shared decor ideas with her & she brought my vision to life but made it even better. I highly recommend Melissa Timms Designs for your wedding decor and/or wedding flowers! She is the BEST!

One of Knoxville's BEST!
I will forever refer a bride asking for Knoxville vendor recommendations to choose Melissa Timm Designs for floral. Throughout the process, Melissa and her team exceeded my expectations.
Not once did she try to convince me to spend more than budgeted, they allowed me to have a sneak peek of all my florals a few days before the wedding, they were so accommodating with an error I realized I made the week leading up to our wedding, and she even responded to a text on my wedding day when I asked if my bouquet and the bridesmaids bouquets could be delivered to a different location. She was flexible, listened to what I wanted and nailed my vision. I actually chose to make my own centerpieces to save some $$$ (my husband and I paid for 75% of our wedding on our own), and instead of being annoyed with a missed sale, she even offered to help show me ways to do it so that they would look great.
She made sure that I felt beautiful in my choices and helped me save in other areas with less expensive flowers so that my bouquet could really be the star of the show. The florals are obviously beautiful, but my experience with Melissa and her staff really made this entire experience a 5-star one. It's been 7 months since our wedding, and I still get comments on how beautiful and stunning my bouquet was. You won't for one second regret choosing Melissa Timm Designs.

The BEST Florist!!!!
Melissa is AMAZING! She did the florals for our wedding and we could not have been more pleased!! She was able to take our haphazard Pinterest board and bring to life the whimsical fairytale wedding of our dreams. She does such a great job of explaining everything to you and reminds you of areas that need decor you may not have thought about. She even lets you preview your flowers the day before your wedding to make sure you are getting everything you want. Talk about AMAZING customer service!!

Melissa is a true artist! She made my floral dreams come alive with me just telling her what I didn’t want! She was so attentive! She even came out to our venue before hand to be sure we had everything we wanted and that it would all work out. We both loved her and how well she knew what she was doing. I had no idea what I wanted when it came to flowers. I found a picture of a bouquet I liked, and that was it. Melissa took that idea and ran with it. I could not BELIEVE how incredible my flowers were. I have always loved floral arbors, but I never even thought it was something that would fit into my budget. (Granted, I had NO CLUE how much flowers would cost.) In the end, thanks to Melissa, i was able to afford the most beautiful floral arbor (that she built on site!), absolutely incredible bouquets, and the most perfect centerpieces I could have ever dreamed of. She transformed the reception hall into a magical garden- it was everything I had pictured and more. The bouquet was a work of art, just stunning. She really listens to clients' request and delivers on their vision. It was also invaluable to a stress-free wedding that she and her crew did all the delivery, setting-up of the decor (they even set up a pole-and-drape we rented from another company!), and taking down everything afterwards. I cannot gush enough about Melissa Timm! Very enthusiastic and had great attention to detail! She and her team went above and beyond to bring my vision to life! Melissa was great to work with for floral design. She followed my budget and was able to create the exact look that I wanted! She provided me with all of the containers for my flowers and even painted some to match my decor better. She was extremely pleasant and easy to work with. My flowers and centerpieces were absolutely stunning. I highly recommend Melissa Timm!

Absolutely beautiful flowers! I am so happy I went with Melissa as my florist! I know very little about flowers, so I just gave Melissa some parameters, such as colors and theme of my wedding, and she did her own thing and everything turned out incredible! My bouquet was gorgeous and had just enough fall theme to it, without looking generic. The centerpieces were perfect and everyone raved about how great everything looked. She definitely knows her stuff about flowers. She's also incredibly flexible. At the last minute I ordered a flower crown, and it was no problem for her, and it turned out beautiful! I would definitely recommend Melissa Timm!

Melissa was fantastic! She is very invested in her brides and she spends a lot of time listening so she can create exactly what they are looking for! I had met with 3 other florists before meeting Melissa and after meeting her I knew she was the one I was looking for!! Her prices are very reasonable and she is willing to work with any budget! She created exactly what I wanted and I couldn't have been any happier with all the arrangements!

Melissa Timm took my wedding to the next level! I came in with a very vague idea of what I was envisioning and just a couple of pins on my pinterest board. She was able to put together ideas for all of my centerpieces as well as bouquets, boutonnieres, and corsages that were even better than I could have imagined! She also has so many different things around her store or in her storage (jars for a candy buffet, etc.) that she is willing to rent to you for even cheaper than and without the hassle of a DIY project. To top it all off, she is very sweet to work with!

I came to Melissa only a couple of weeks before my wedding, and she was able to create beautiful bouquets for myself and my bridesmaids, as well as boutineers for the groom/groomsmen. She was completely willing to provide what I needed, and didn't make me feel bad at all for the late notice. (Of course, we could have done more than bouquets and boutineers had I come earlier.) Definitely enjoyed my time with her.

I can’t say enough about how much I enjoyed working with Melissa! She is amazing…any ideas I gave her, she just ran with it and created the most unique and outstanding arrangements, bouquets and boutonnieres. One of my favorite things about the wedding was the most creative and beautiful cascading bridal bouquet Melissa made for me. I think the flower arrangements really pulled our vintage theme together and made everything more beautiful.

On our first meeting, she started pulling flowers to show me what my bouquet could look like, which was phenomenal because -everyone wants something different, so why settle for just looking at a bunch of different pictures when you can create exactly what you're picturing in your dreams. Melissa did an outstanding job with the floral arrangements for our wedding. The centerpieces for our reception were breathtaking and so original. We had a pergola/arbor for our ceremony that was very large and I was worried that Melissa would have trouble making the arrangement we had originally picked out. Do not go anywhere else for brilliant artistry. Melissa went above and beyond any expectations to make my wedding my own beautiful fantasy. The flowers really pull your them together and while mine was unique in the fact I wanted to combine traditional with romance and modern and antique and picturesque, she also designed my sister's wedding before where she wanted glitz and purple glam! She's versatile. Two weeks before the wedding we changed a few things around, added more arrangements, and tweeked actually some significant designs, she worked with us throughout the entire process. She knows her stuff too. For me, I had barely any idea of what I was asking for, but she took my inspiration board from Pinterest and made it happen. The pictures come out beautiful as well. She is the best. Don't even consider anyone else. We had three meetings, and they are convenient and I was able to check out my bouquet and a few other arrangements a few days before for approval. I even asked her to change something and she did! I love her fire and passion, and I know you would too.

Melissa was VERY easy to work with. She offered suggestions but also listened to what my daughter was trying to achieve with her wedding. She did an absolute BEAUTIFUL job. Flowers were very full with all different types of flowers to make up the bouquets and arrangements. (she knows the name of EVERY flower that was used also) She is very passionate about flowers and it shows in every aspect of her work. She showed up early to have everything arranged, set up and that everything down to the last detail was done to her standards. Nothing but beautiful could describe her work and attention to every last flower. Her props were beautiful and clean and she created a beautiful lasting impression with her work. Melissa's team was also very professional and made sure everything was beautiful.

She went out of her way to find the perfect flowers we were looking for and made incredible arrangements. Melissa provided our flowers for our wedding. Our Dj suggested her so we went and talked with her and that same day we said yes. We sat down and talked about every flowers and what we envisioned and she wrote it all down to every single detail!! We were having Gerber daisies dyed to match the coral and when we got to our venue and saw the flowers we were amazed!!! They were everywhere and so beautiful. The bouquets were so big and gorgeous! Every flower was fresh and coral like what we wanted. It ended up raining on our wedding day so she set everything up inside and stayed there for a few hours to see if it would stop and we could have it outside. Not a lot of people would do that and she is one of the best in knoxville :) thank you so much for making our day so special!!!! You did an Amazing job

Melissa is so wonderful to work with. She has such a kind, open, and honesty personality. I did not feel pressured by her to use her services at any point, and I felt that she was always dealing openly with me about price. Melissa understand if you are on a budget, and she will work with you. My bridal bouquet and maid of honor bouquet were fabulous! The bouts and coursages were also all really great. She had everything labeled and ready. SHe also made some pomanders for my pew ends, and a lovely large spray for a suitcase I was using at both the wedding and reception, and she came and moved that to the reception for me (and I never even noticed!). More than all of that, Melissa went above and beyond and WAY out of her way to take it upon herself to decorate my reception with her assistant. Through some sort of mix-up and misunderstanding, when she went to my reception site to check on everything a few hours before, she found it to not be ready at all. So she and her assistant decorated it with all of my items, and it looked so incredibly lovely. Before I knew that she had done this, when I arrived at my reception, I was totally shocked and awed at how great it looked. So, I am incredibly indebted to Melissa for making that happen for me. She truly cares about her brides!

I didn’t have exact pictures of what I wanted the finished product to look like…I just had several ideas & designs that I wanted to blend together. Melissa understood my vision & brought it to life. Working with Melissa Timm was a joy! She came to our first meeting with lots of pictures and ideas and very quickly had a feel for what my daughter wanted. And when we didn't know something, she gave great advice so that this part of the wedding came together easily and beautifully. Almost within hours, we had a written quote, and any email correspondence was answered quickly. Melissa was also very flexible...I joked that I had 3 "last" changes!! Would recommend Melissa without hesitation!

We just had our wedding last Friday and we can’t get over how pretty the flowers were for it. I requested peonies, wild flowers and hops. Mellissa and her team went above and beyond with my requests. I was on a tight floral budget, and she made me feel completely confident that she could work within my budget and create something beautiful, also keeping in mind my vision! She made recommendations as to ways I could save on my flowers, by choosing Savvi Formalwear and getting a discount on my bridal bouquet, and she also assisted in flower suggestions to keep my look, but with less expensive flowers. What impressed me most was when she invited me to her shop for a sneak peek! I had never heard of that and was quite impressed! She wanted to be sure they were on the right track with my flowers, especially wanted to be sure I was happy with my bridal bouquet, and also check the weight of the bouquet, to be sure I would be comfortable carrying them all night! I had never thought of that and I loved that she did!!! This, in my opinion, is what professionals in their field of expertise, are supposed to do! There are really two "main" florists in Knoxville. We visited them and Melissa. We went over the same ideas with each florist, and BY FAR Melissa was the best. She was the friendliest, most excited about our event, and came up with new and unique designs. Again, ALL 3 florists received the same information/ideas from us, and her total was a good $2,000-$3,000 less and she actually offered more in the long run than the other 2 florists. We had our hearts set on this gate/fence idea with flowers flowing off of it, and she had it made for us! Literally. She shopped around and found someone to make a wrought-iron fence! Everything she created was so unique and beautiful!

Clearly an experienced wedding florist
Melissa did an excellent job arranging our bouquets, and I was delighted with the results! I was most concerned about matching the colors to my bridesmaids' dresses and getting a wildflower look, and Melissa did this perfectly. The bouquets were elegant, with a varied selection of flowers that gave it a nice shape. Melissa even gave me a sneak peak before the wedding day, so that I could get excited about the selections! Would definitely recommend her services, especially if you are at the Magnolia venue (which she is very familiar with).

If you are wanting the classiest flowers, you have got to use Melissa. Whether you are on a budget or are willing to use every penny on your flowers, she will make your flowers fulfill your floral dreams that you have been dying for. She was so flexible with our ceremony flowers, and she helped me be confident in everything I was choosing. She was there to listen to what I wanted and give me the best advice at the same time. She is not only just a florist; she is a partner you definitely want in your wedding decor! She will be doing my flowers for any and every occasion from here on out. Her pricing is incredibly reasonable and her eye for design is impeccable! She also does DIY classes where I learned to put my center pieces together. She is so budget friendly. BOOK HER NOW!

Melissa was very easy to work with and she did everything she could to keep the price within my budget. My flowers were beautiful as well. The only problem I had was that our plan for my arch arrangements did not come out as we had planned. They still looked beautiful, but I was not expecting what they ended up looking like. I do not know if I was unclear in what I wanted, or if she was confused. Nonetheless, I was very happy with my flowers overall.

I had a couple of meetings with Melissa to go over the details of my flowers. I told her the look I was going for and even showed her lots of pictures. Even though my flowers didn't turn out exactly as I had pictured, they were beautiful. I didn't love the corsages or boutonnieres but the table arrangements were absolutely gorgeous. Very reasonable pricing too.

Melissa did all the flowers for our wedding and really did an incredible job. She sat down with us and we picked out nearly every single type of flower/color we wanted in the final products. She has a ton of cute vintage things available for use as well. She also worked extensively with us to get our flowers in budget and as affordable for us as possible. I asked for tulips in a June wedding and she made it work! She was right there on time on the day of and the flowers were beautiful and complemented the girls dresses perfectly. So many people complemented how beautiful they were. She takes pride in her work and goes the extra mile to make sure you get what you want.

Melissa did our centerpieces, bouquets, groomsmen flowers, mothers wristlets, church pew flowers, and a wall piece for the church. From planning to execution she was incredible! Everything was exactly how we wanted. She even added in little touches of flowers to our decor the day of the wedding. I did feel like prices were a little high, but we did get 109 dollars off in bridal bucks, and she has a deal with Savy tuxedos. I highly recommend Melissa!

I wasn't really sure what I was looking for as far as flowers went. Melissa took my color ideas, showed me some options, and built beautiful floral arrangements for the whole wedding party. Melissa was so easy to work with and didn't pressure me to spend a lot. She also had affordable glassware rentals so we could do our own centerpieces.

I was referred to Melissa by my wedding coordinator. As soon as Melissa and I met to discuss my vision we clicked instantly. She got everything I wanted and knew how to make the floral stand on its own without being too over the top. If you're looking for a local florist who does BIG work, you've found your vendor! When searching local bridal magazines to get wedding ideas, every page I turned to had Melissa Timm Design's work on that page. I saw her flowers and work over and over again- all over Facebook and Instagram. There is a reason she is constantly booked and busy is because her work ethic is fantastic, and her floral creations are amazing! I was happy with our floral needs, and will consistently recommend her and her work to anyone who is looking!

We used Melissa Timm Designs for floral decorations at our wedding on September 27, 2014 at Dara's Garden. We picked our florist late, changed our minds within the last week on what we needed, and still our arrangements were lovely. In fact, i didn't think i cared much about flowers at all- just put something pretty there and who cares? I provided a couple of pictures of bouquets i thought were pretty, and that was about it. But when we came to do a sneak peak at our arrangements the Thursday evening before our Saturday wedding, i was SO happily surprised by how much i loved the bridesmaids' bouquets and my bride's bouquet!! I had one suggestion for the groom's boutonniere and Melissa's team was more than happy to do it for me as well. There was a lot of things that caused me stress during the wedding planning, but i can confidently say that i absolutely LOVED my flowers, as did everyone else I talked to. I am also a very thorough researcher, and i must say that out of at least 8 florists interviewed/contacted, Melissa Timm designs was easily among the most competitively priced in Knoxville, TN. Thank you for helping me smile and have such a great time at my wedding!!

Beautiful flowers, not a great personality
The flowers and quality of work were amazing, but Melissa Timm was very short while working with her and seemed annoyed when asked to cut costs for our bill when it was over budget. Charged us to rent out center pieces and to clean them. Not a great personality to work with.

Melissa was kind but seemed a little unorganized; I had to provide pics of my flowers multiple times. When I paid my deposit I was told my flowers would be ready in "a couple of weeks" because they were artificial, but it took over 6 weeks. When I tried to follow up I was treated as though I was bothersome. The arrangements were pretty at least.

Bouquet of my nightmare
I was so hopeful for my wedding bouquet. I truly was, when I saw the bouquet listed that she did on wedding wire, my mouth dropped. However, my joy quickly turned into a flower nightmare. I emailed and never heard back, I called and ended up texting, but really wasnt impressed with my conversation with Melissa. it was short, she was a tad rude but I let it go because this was the bouquet of my dreams. The final price was a few dollars short of 460 bucks, again chalked it up to my dreams. When my family went to pick it up, I was brought to tears. The final pict below was after the florist worked on it a few times!! It was so disappointing. The picture with the nice white full beautiful bouquet was what i ordered plus some blue flowers as it was a wedding color. the yellow raggedy bouquet in the other picture is what I had to settle for. my family was late to other things we needed them for waiting on them to fix this bouquet and IT STILL DIDNT HAVE THE BLUE FLOWERS I paid for. The only reason I gave it two stars is because the man was nice and tried his best to fix it, but all brides, please avoid this shop. They will absolutely not deliver what you want. the worst part of this is this is THEIR ORIGINAL DESIGN! and they were stumped how to repeat it. So not worth the money and Im hoping to save any future brides from this florist
