The best photographer!

Melissa exceeded every expectation we had! We are absolutely obsessed with our wedding photos and honestly can’t stop looking at them. She captured every moment so beautifully, and each picture brings us right back to our wedding day. Her attention to detail, creativity, and ability to capture genuine emotion are incredible.

Not only is Melissa amazingly talented, but she was also such a joy to work with and made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera and throughout the entire process. We feel so lucky to have had her as our photographer and cannot recommend her highly enough. These photos are something we’ll cherish for a lifetime, and we are so grateful for the beautiful memories she captured. Thank you, Melissa!

Amazing Wedding Photographer!

I was so happy I connected with Melissa! From the moment she arrived at the venue, she took photos up to the last dance at the reception. She is friendly, professional, and very easy to work with. When we received the photos, they were beyond our expectations! Melissa captured the amazing evening with family and friends, as well as the bride and groom's vision of a beach wedding and reception. Melissa was so great to work with! She was very professional and responsive. I gave her a list of all of the photos I wanted and she made sure that we got them all throughout the night! I know the pictures will turn out amazing! Highly recommend using her.

Great service, professional and gorgeous photos

We are so happy that we chose Melissa & Alex for our wedding and engagement photos. Melissa & Alex were prompt, easy to communicate with, responsive to emails, captured all of the moments that we asked for, and let us be ourselves in our photo shoots. They did a great job of not only capturing our wedding day prep, first look, bridal party, and ceremony, but they also got great shots of our family and friends having a good time and enjoying themselves. They delivered finished photos as promised and conveniently send a link, as well as a flash drive. Thank you, Melissa & Alex, for commemorating the BEST DAY EVER! Hiring Melissa and Alex to photograph my wedding was one of the absolute best decisions I made.

One of my best friends got married in May 2016 & had Alex as her photographer. After seeing how hard he worked during her wedding & seeing her photos, I did my research on Melissa Lauren Images and found nothing but rave reviews. I decided to book them for my own wedding, as well as my engagement photo shoot. Working with Alex on both occasions was such a pleasure!! He really listens to what you want, is very patient & gets a variety of photos. Everyone at my wedding was so pleased that he was patient & allowed them to take pictures of their own and also took the opportunity to take pictures himself. He was my favorite vendor that I booked for my wedding and the pricing is very reasonable. I HIGHLY recommend Melissa Lauren Images for any event. Alex is superb! My husband and I could not be any happier with our photos!!!

Working with Melissa and Alex on our big day was amazing! They were both so friendly, and really knew what they were doing. When we originally booked with them we booked one photographer, but 3 weeks before the wedding they reached out to let us know a second shooter was available for our wedding date. Deciding to add the second shooter was the best decision we could've made, that way one was with the groom and groomsmen while they were getting ready, and one was with the bride and bridal party. They were very pleasant to work with, and had great direction when it came to capturing the special moments. We can't wait to receive our photos back from our day, and would definitely recommend Melissa and Alex to anyone whose in the market for a wedding photographer!

I am so glad I found Melissa Lauren Images! They have a knack for being where they need to be to get the best pictures at your wedding! They were also the most affordable that I found in the area while planning the wedding. My only concern is where on earth I'm going to hang all my beautiful pictures (there are so many- I don't know how I'm going to fit them all on my walls!). Thank you, Melissa and Alex, for a wonderful day and for the gorgeous memories!

Melissa and Alex were sharp! They sowed up exactly by the time We asked for. Very responsive from the begining. Very professional. Very elegant couple,polite. My pics came out great! They were around always to catch the most important moments of our ceremony. Hugs, smiles, kisses..tears..their lenses are eagles eyes! I strongly recomend them.

We had Melissa shoot our engagement photos last year and both Melissa and Alex for our March wedding. Both of them are super kind, professional and great at their jobs. We used the engagement shoot as a sort of trial before booking them for our wedding and we were amazed at how great all of our pictures came out. At the wedding, they were always on top of things. I asked Melissa when we got to the reception site if she could take detail shots before the guests went in and she said Alex already did it; we had a guest who wanted a picture with us at the reception and I said 'oh let me find our photographer' and as soon as I turned around she was there. The photos were returned to us really quick (in fact, I asked her to hold off a little bit since we were going on our honeymoon two weeks after the wedding). We received around 1,700 photos, all great quality. Highly recommend!

We met Melissa at one of my bridesmaid's wedding. She was very creative, easy going and fun. I knew then I had to have her for my wedding. We did our engagement photos with Melissa and we realized how comfortable she makes you feel. We love our photos. Seriously, Thank you so much!!!

Alex was AMAZING! Since my engagement pictures, he delivered the most beautiful pictures within a good time frame. On the wedding day, he just went above my expectations. He was at every step, taking so many shots of all of our large families. He was on top of everything, and let us know at time of sunset, when it got dark, wow...he knew what he was doing. He delivered the pictures in a few days, and they are beautiful. I just shared the pictures and got so many compliments, people telling me that I got the best photographer! I had already looked at a couple of wedding photographers, and was shocked to find pricing for even the value packages to be at $5000. Of course, the photos were beautiful, but I just could not justify spending that kind of money on wedding pictures, especially since my husband and I were paying for the majority of the wedding ourself. I put out a call to my friends on Facebook, and got an overwhelming response to contact Melissa Lauren Images. I started researching them that day, and was very pleased with the value they offered, and really like the quality of the pictures that I was seeing. I emailed them, and got a response back quickly, telling me that Alex was available for my wedding date, but they did not have availability for two photographers, oh well. I booked with them right away. For the next couple weeks, we went back and forth over email as I described my own personal style, and the style of my wedding. I am very against posed shots, I knew that I would have to do some for the family, so I could send out pictures, but for the most part, I wanted a very journalistic approach to my wedding. I wanted the fun caught in action. I felt that Alex did a great job, and I was very pleased with the results that I received. I have already recommended them to a few other family and friends who are getting married.

My wife and I hired Melissa Lauren to be our photographer for our engagement photo shoot, wedding ceremony, and wedding reception. We were completely satisfied with the service and product that we got from Melissa. She was extremely easy to work with. She provided great suggestions and recommendations in terms of venue location for photo shoots and various poses based on our comfort level. She was also very open and responsive to our personal preferences. Wedding planning can be very stressful and having someone who is organize, responsive, and easy to work with is a key factor.

The pictures were professional and of great quality. Her rate was also very comparable especially with the type of service she was offering. She doesn't try to offer you various packages to sell you products and services you may or may not need. However, if you do require additional services, she will do her best to accommodate. We highly recommend Melissa for any photography related services. We will definitely consider her for future occasions, such as baby showers or graduations. Thank you again Melissa for the beautiful photos and for making our big day less stressful and more memorable

Melissa was so easy to work with! Even my florist at the wedding complimented me following the wedding saying I had such nice vendors, especially my photographer. Melissa was always on the dance floor capturing candid shots, she arrived right on time to take pictures of the guys getting ready, and was in my bridal suite as I arrived to get dressed. She was super sweet and the photos she took are amazing. I recommend her 100%.

We just received our images today, and I couldn't wait to write a review. Alex and Melissa are top notch. From the day I inquired about their services until the day of the wedding, they were so responsive to me and my ideas for our day. On the day of the wedding, Alex was behind the scenes capturing so many of the little moments that made our day so special. He made sure I was getting all of the shots I wanted, but he was also capturing the little details. Not only that, but he truly captured my husband and I. Our joy, laughter, and love is so prominent in the images that Alex took. We were truly able to relive our wedding day by simply clicking through the images. Not only that, but there was such a quick turnaround time! We are so impressed with the quality, value, and professionalism of this company. My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Alex for our recent wedding on April 9, 2016. To say Alex did a fantastic job is an understatement! We just got out photos back and they are more beautiful than we could have ever imagined. We have no idea how he did it! He was in a thousand places at once! He captured every special moment and made us feel so special. He was so accommodating and very responsive to emails and phone calls. He also did our engagement photos for us that we adore! These photos will be hanging in our home for a very long time. This company is also the BEST value for your money you are going to find, trust me! My wedding day was the happiest day on record and Melissa captured it beautifully. Professional, courteous, and talented are some of the words I would used to describe this lovely lady. Alex was a great photographer! I can't decide which of our wedding photos is my favorite. He shot our engagement photos, too, and we couldn't be happier. He made us feel comfortable the entire time, and came up with really creative poses and didn't miss an important photo moment. Our family just raved about him and the photos. I must have looked at a dozen different photographers before I found Melissa Lauren Images, and I am so glad I did. Their price is great and they do amazing work. I am so pleased with the services Melissa provided my husband and I; both for our engagement session, and our wedding! She was so easy to communicate with, and very flexible. For our engagement session, the weather was being SO difficult! We went back and forth so many times changing the dates and times trying to beat the rain, and I really appreciated Melissa's patience through that.
We received just over 1,000 photos from our wedding. She captured the day beautifully, and we have gotten endless compliments from our family and friends. We will cherish the memories she captured forever.

From our first meeting, Alex was professional and responded to emails in a timely manner. He remembered to take a special picture of me with my mother's portrait. Little things like that showed me that he was on top of everything.
I just got my online album and the pictures are beautiful! I am blown away! The pictures that Alex took were on point. He took the staged posses and then a lot of candid shots. I highly recommend this young husband and wife team!!

Alex was our photographer for our engagement session. He did an amazing job! Since we didn't know what location we wanted, he helped us pick a location by offering several locations to choose from. He arrived early and we got started right away. It was obvious during the shoot that Alex has a great deal of experience. He knew what spots would give great shots. He took his time during the shoot - we didn't feel rushed. We also got a nice mix of shot with our dogs and some with just the two of us. We received our pictures online within two weeks and about a week later got the pictures on a jump drive. There were several great pictures and we had plenty of pictures in total. I am so glad that we chose Alex to be our photographer for our wedding as well.

**Updated 7/2/2016** Update regarding our wedding photos - Again, I cannot say enough about how wonderful Alex is to work with. He arrived promptly on time for our wedding. The photos he took were amazing. He took every picture that we wanted, and took more that he knew would be great. During the wedding our guest didn't notice him, but he got LOTS of great picutres. We got pictures of every important moment during our wedding and reception. Our wedding was 6/18/2016 - I am writing this two weeks later and we already have our photos!! The pictures are perfect! I would recommend Melissa Lauren Images to anyone for their wedding.

We chose Melissa Lauren Images for our Wedding photographs after much research was done. Our photographer Alex was great to work with and made the evening very comfortable. Alex came to our rehearsal the night before to meet the hotel staff and tour the hotel for perfect photo shots. The Epicurean in itself is a classy, elegant and fun place but Alex made us shine with his professionalism and focus. Alex showed up on time and even asked if it was ok for him to leave at the end of the evening. I would recommend Lauren Images to anyone.

Melissa Lauren Images was one of the best Wedding Vendors that I had! Alex (a co-owner) is one of the nicest people I have ever met in my life. He did an amazing job of capturing our beautiful Wedding Day, our Ceremony, our guests, and all those special moments that you want to look back on for years to come. Working with Melissa Lauren Images as a whole was a great customer service experience. They are very flexible with appointments, photography locations, and details but can also help you narrow down your ideas into an actual decision. Their pricing is very fair and their packages are completely comprehensive. You will be paying for all of your beautiful unmarked and re-touched photos, instead of a bloated package full of albums and stuff that you don't even want. I would highly recommend Melissa Lauren Images to Brides and also to anyone else looking for Grad pictures, family photos, Engagement sessions, etc. They are truly kind, professional, cost-effective, and talented at what they do. Melissa and Alex are both fabulous. Melissa took our engagement photos and Alex was with us throughout the whole day of our wedding. They both made my husband and I feel completely comfortable taking pictures. They definitely got a feel for our personalities and used that in the poses and types of pictures they took. All of our pictures are going to be edited in less than two weeks and we get to keep them all. I can't wait to use them again for something else!

I cannot say enough good things about Melissa Lauren Images! Our wedding pictures are outstanding, we got over 1100 pictures and all the copyrights belong to us. Alex was an excellent photographer and we enjoyed spending the day with him - even though part of it was in the rain! His candid shots are fantastic. I have already recommended them to another friend who is getting married this year. The only reason not to use Melissa Lauren Images is if they are booked on your wedding day (and then, how important is that date to you REALLY? lol).

Outstanding experience working with Alex of Melissa Lauren Images. He was a true professional. The quality of our photos is exquisite. We got married in the Florida Aquarium in front of the coral reef tank- I was so worried about the photos because the lighting is very tricky- Alex did an amazing job and the pictures are perfect- no glare or flash bouncebacks or washed out color. He is truly talented and a pleasure to be around. The pricing for what we received was an amazing value! I highly recommend Melissa Lauren images.

I had my engagement pictures done and Melissa was incredible. Melissa is also going to be doing my Wedding Pictures as well, she is very patient and understanding. She never makes you feel your bothering her and very pleasant to work with. Amazing work every time and very reasonable in price.

Alex did a great job on our wedding day. Our pictures are beautiful. He took the time to make sure everyone in the picture looked great (not just us). He was always easy to get a hold of of, on time the day of our wedding, and was just a lovely person to work with.

Alex was our photographer for our wedding. He was nice enough to meet up with us before booking and went over the services and made us feel very comfortable with moving forward. He responded to all my emails promptly! On the day of, he was efficient and captured so many amazing moments. He directed the bridal parties for some great shots. Every picture that we wanted to try- he did for us! My wedding coordinator even said he was nice! The wedding was on a Sunday and the pictures were uploaded onto the website Tuesday morning -9 days! That is amazing because we were biting our nails with anticipation. The thumbdrive with our pictures just arrived today. We had such a great day and have so many amazing pictures to show for it. We are so happy we went with Melissa Lauren! Alex did great! Thank you!

I could not have asked for a better photographer to capture our wedding day! Alex was great from the beginning to the very end! He was easy going, had great ideas, and even listened to our crazy ideas! We received the photos online and in the mail very quickly! Melissa was such a pleasure to work with! She was so calm and easy going - very reassuring to any bride (or groom) on such a special day! She showed up right at our agreed time, and jumped right in to taking pictures! We got over 1500 pictures from her about a week after the wedding. ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL. I'm not all that surprised because I saw her work on Facebook, but I am so in love with the pictures and the service she provided - especially for the price she charges! I also wanted to give one of my friends the chance to second-shoot, and Melissa was willing to work with her and kind of show her the ropes! I definitely recommend Melissa, she is truly wonderful and the pictures are beautiful!

I truly cannot say enough great things about Melissa! She was SO easy to work with and provided us with gorgeous wedding photos. She answered tons of questions in advance and met with my husband and I about a year before our wedding to show us her work. She was great with email and even followed my Pinterest account to get a feel for the photos / photo vibe we would want in our wedding pictures. On our wedding day, she arrived early and had plenty of photo ideas in mind (which was so helpful when my mind was going crazy on the big day!). My husband and I did first look pictures and she handled them beautifully (even in the melting summer heat!). At our venue, she took tons of photos of family, friends, getting ready, and other details I might have otherwise missed on our wedding day. She also did an excellent job of capturing moments during our ceremony and reception without being seen - I don't know how she did it! Melissa was there for our wedding day for almost 10 hours and did a truly beautiful job from start to finish. In one week, we had our pictures. We have SO many perfect pictures to choose from - I can't believe how gorgeous they are. I am so thrilled we chose Melissa Lauren Images for our wedding day - she was a dream!

Melissa was truly a pleasure to work with. I was a very organized bride and knew exactly what i wanted. Alex was the photographer for our son's wedding. He also did his and my daughter-in-law's engagement photos. He was unobtrusive and shot great pictures. I asked him to make sure all of the guests were in pictures and he did that. My only suggestion would be to make sure all family members got in official photos at the chapel before leaving. Partly my fault, but we didn't get my side of the family all together in one shot at the chapel. I could have brought it up, but I was distracted, so perhaps him taking charge and making sure all combinations were included would have been good. The pictures are beautiful.

So I am not one to go write a review for a vendor or any service without a prompt (i.e. reminder email) but I needed to go out of my way to express how amazing Melissa and Alex are. Honestly, I couldn't have picked a better team. When Melissa arrived at our suite, she was punctual- early in fact!- and jumped right in. I have been in several weddings but never realized what a bag of nerves you can become as the bride. Well, Melissa was so calming and easy to work with. Her energy was very calm and she brought the expertise that I needed; I'm an amateur photo subject. In any event, she was by far the best vendor I worked with. I just wish she lived closer so I could hire her for other events! Don't look any further, choose Melissa Lauren. You won't regret it!

She kept us on track and made sure we got all the shots we wanted and then some. The online gallery is beautiful, and her price is phenomenal. Melissa was absolutely fantastic! We did both our engagement session and wedding photos with her. She is so sweet and SO incredibly patient. I am not the most creative when it comes to photo "poses" but every suggestion that Melissa made turned out beautifully. We had a mix of some traditional posed portrait style photos, as well as some more modern photojournalist styles as well. She captured our colors and style perfectly and I couldn't be happier with our wedding and engagement photos! She arrived early and stayed all the way until the end never missing a moment. We have so many great memories captured by her and we are eternally grateful. Melissa is so professional without being pushy or intrusive yet still manages to get all the most important moments. She's super personable and we received SO many compliments from guests on how great she was. She was like a ninja always there when someone needed a picture taken without fail! I loved finding a photographer that offered everything Melissa did at such a low price and is open about their services! Melissa was so pleasant to speak with. She showed up at noon the day of the wedding and stayed till the very end! We received over 1300 pictures and I can honestly say that we loved the majority of them. It is so hard to pick our top choices for the wedding album! She made a point to get most of the pictures on my "most wanted" list and threw in ideas of her own as well.

Melissa Lauren was truly fantastic and we couldn't have asked for a better photographer. We hired her a year before our wedding date and she remained responsive to all my emails and questions. She met with us at the venue on her free weekend day to see where the best spots would be to take pictures on our wedding day. She arrived very early to take pictures of my husband playing golf, then was at our hotel taking pictures of the girls, then started taking pictures of the venue, the decor that I had put together myself, and the guests. The reception pictures are hilarious, she got so many great shots, and her sneak peek of my pictures were on her FB page a few days later. Loved it! She goes above and beyond and we were very happy with her.

One of the best decisions and best spent money on the wedding! Alex was our photographer and his photos were AMAZING and actually affordable for a couple paying for their own wedding. Even our families loved how he was very professional at our wedding. We had all of our pics one week after the wedding! We were so excited to see them. I am a former wedding photographer and I knew that I would be very critical of the photographs of my own wedding. Let me tell you, this young lady is so talented. She is so easy going, so fun to work with, she has unique ideas and she is a master at her craft. And she is a professional. She was on time, ready to go with amazing cameras that made me happy to see and she listened to all our requests. Your wedding day is a hectic, emotional day. In essence, at times I felt like I was in a blur. Not once did I have to worry about Melissa and her abilities. She captured things that I had no idea were going on!! It was such a thrill to go through the final product and see the pieces of my wedding that either I did not get to see or completely forgot! She provided us with so,so, so many memories captured from her eyes to ours. Our final product arrived so quick, we couldn't believe how quick and there are so many pictures !!! When I first told my fiancé I had found a wedding photographer for less than $1000, he was skeptical of the quality work we would receive. When I told him we would have her for the whole day (not just 4 hours like many photographers) and that we would get all the photos without any strings attached, he was at least willing to give it a try. Melissa Lauren Images made a believer out of us both! We opted to have both Melissa and Alex with us for our wedding and they were amazing. They met us at the hotel as we were getting ready. Melissa stayed with the ladies and Alex went to photograph the guys. They snapped photos from the moment they got there until every last person was gone from the reception. Most of the time, we never even knew they were there taking photos, but within a week, they had delivered over 1800 hi-res photos to us. We were stunned not simply at the quantity, but at the immense quality of the images. They were able to capture moments that we will cherish forever. Melissa and Alex are a professional and talented team of photographers. If I had to do it all over again, I would pick them time and time again.

From our engagement shoot to the last minute of our wedding, Melissa was a true pleasure to work with. She caught every moment including the ones I would have never known were there!! Her turn around time was impeccable (I got my engagement pictures and wedding pictures within a week of each event). She was courteous, fun, professional, and all of my guests commented on how she was literally "everywhere." I was more than skeptical of her pricing-- because it was about 60-75% lower than other photographers in the area AND included more perks like being there from the start-end & will sign over the copy rights afterwards... take my advise and go with Melissa!! It will be one of the best decisions you make for your wedding :)

All I can say is we love Melissa and her staff!!! Our pictures are beautiful we have so many pictures it took us hours just to go through time once! Melissa was wonderful always very responsive she came before the ceremony and stayed until the very last person left at the receptions...with her came an equally as talented second photographer (to our surprise) and he was great! So my photographer quit on me 2 months before my wedding!! I freaked out thinking no one would be available this soon! Well luckily Melissa Lauren Images had a slot open for me! We originally met with Alex who drove 2 hours just to meet us at our location to go over a few details. On the wedding day Melissa actually came so we had 2 photographers which was wonderful! They were so nice and wanted to do everything i wanted! They started at 10:30 am and left at 10:00 pm! They were so personable and great to work with!!!!

Melissa was AMAZING. She was exactly what my picture retarded husband and I needed. She gave us direction when we needed it without being in our faces all day. We got to keep every picture she took and she edits everything. She was with me from 10am till 10pm. I couldn't imagine the day without her and all of her help.

What can I say about Melissa.....she's absolutely wonderful!!! My pictures were stunning and she is an absolute gem to work with. She was there on time (even though I was late of course :) She always had a smile on her face and took so many pictures that I didn't even realize the amount until I received the discs. She caught every moment to where those that could not make it to the wedding felt as if they had been there. It was a story on film that I'll be able to treasure for the rest of my life. Thanks so much Melissa!

Overall I'm very happy with our wedding photos. Alex was like a fly on the wall and it was very easy to forget that he was even there! He was very professional and very polite throughout the entire day. He managed to get some really amazing shots of the day and all of our guests.

I felt the package we were offered was extremely good value for money and I'm really happy with the quality of the photos.

Melissa and her team did an amazing job. She captured the entire wedding day. She was very reasonable with the price. I own all 4000 of my photos.

Fantastic! I am very pleased at how well the pictures came out. I am amazed at how many pictures were provided and the quality of work. The price is right, I am really picky and frugal at the same time. So I would challenge all photographers to provide this level of service at a fair price. There are no hidden costs, you get the rights to all images, in full resolution. And they provide a high quality website for all of your quests to pick pictures they like.

Alex was very nice and spent as much time as you wanted him to. No additonal charge no matter how long you have him for the day. I would have liked a little more direction from him. Pictures came out very nice.
