I called Melissa less than a week before we wanted to elope. We talked over the phone, and we hit it off immediately. She took all of our photos. And she delivered a beautiful, inspired ceremony. Thank you, Melissa!! -

We live in Austin and the ceremony was in Port Aransas on the beach. I worked with Melissa over the phone the entire time for getting everything put together. I was my own wedding planner and Melissa offered AWESOME suggestions on how to do a wonderful, simple, ceremony that hardly cost me a thing and was EXTREMELY beautiful. She made me feel so at ease the day of the wedding just by simply talking to me over the phone. I absolutely would recommend her! Love her!! -

Melissa was so helpful to us and our families. We drove in from out of state to get married on the beach. Melissa helped us with reservations and suggestions for a low-cost, but beautiful flowers and where to get a cake for 40 people. She also took some pictures for us with our own cameras. That was very important to me as I wanted EVERYONE in the pictures. She even took some pictures of the two of us. She did not charge us for this service and told us to come back in the future for a vow renewal. What a super nice, sweet person. -

Melissa is an animated person who loves love and marriage. She was always trying to make us feel at peace. Her outgoing personality and bubbly self worked well at our ceremony. We met at sunrise, so we were tired, but she woke us up with her beautiful words. She also performed our sand ceremony and suggested a circle of love where everyone gave some advice and we absolutely loved that. When she says any where or any time...she means it!!! Thanks again Melissa. -

I LOVED HER! SHE WAS GREAT! She kept me calm when i felt things were going wrong with my wedding and was very patient with us when we ran late. She took our wedding photos and
even picked a great spot on the beach for us to have our ceremony. Highly recommend! -

Unreliable and unprofessional.
We had the most stressful time with her from the day of the ceremony. She was late for the ceremony looking like she just rolled out of bed. She immediately asked for the money and she slipped out without even saying good bye. We waited for the marriage license for three weeks and at that time we called the county clerk which they told us that the license wasn't received at all. Apparently, she sent the license to the wrong department. I discourage anyone to hire her for your ceremony. She's unreliable. If you want a stress-free wedding stay away from her. -

Hired Melissa Craig and paid the whole fee upfront.
We asked for a very short, less than 5 minute ceremony, and she wrote long vows that would've taken 10-15 minutes to read. The vows were not what we had previously discussed.
She called me late at night, around 10 pm, to discuss the ceremony the following day. Too bad the actual wedding date was the next month. This mistake was fixed in time.
She showed up 30 minutes late to the ceremony and forgot to bring her cell phone. I called her many times that morning, but since she didn't have her phone, was unable to reach her.
She performed the ceremony poorly, luckily I had written my own vows as a backup for her to read. Then she immediately left after the ceremony and did not sign the marriage certificate.
She later called me that day asking me to mail the marriage certificate to her. By that time, we had already found another minister to perform the ceremony again and sign the marriage certificate, making our wedding legal.
She refused a full or partial refund, even though her participation was pointless since she didn't legalize the marriage. -
