  Melissa was such a huge help during our big day! She helped keep everything on track and was able to get every picture Josh and I wanted. I look back on our wedding photos and they truly captured our wedding day memories. I would highly recommend her to anyone in the area looking for quality photography.

  The only issue that we had was that our pictures took about 3 months to get back. Otherwise, the work was great. It was worth the wait.

  Melissa is the most talented photographer I have ever worked with. She is very professional but has a great personality and is so fun to work with! She did both our engagement photos and our wedding photos and I could not have asked for more. I did not spend one minute worrying at the wedding about getting specific photos because I knew she would take care of everything. We were so happy when we got the pictures back as well. Her style is classic, with a little modernity mixed in, so you don't have to worry about any cheesy pictures that will be out of style in a few years. Her editing is also impeccible (She doesn't photoshop pictures to the point where they don't even look real anymore!) You will not be disappointed by booking Melissa for any kind of shoot!

  melissa was the photographer at my wedding last summer and she did an amazing job. she was very professional yet very laid back. it was like she had been in our family the whole time. the pictures were amazing and so creative. i am so glad i chose her as our wedding photographer and can't wait for her to photograph the other important events in our life as well.

  Melissa is wonderful. She made the engagement and wedding photo sessions feel very easy. She also uses a second photographer for weddings so we got a lot of good pictures. Melissa got to know us before the wedding so she knew what kind of picture style we liked.

  Melissa did a great job with our family pictures. She's very organized and calm under the pressure of small children not cooperating. She has great ideas and creative skills to make your pictures beautiful. I would highly recommend her to anyone I know and look forward to having her do more pictures for me in the near future.

  We fell in love with Melissa the moment we met her! We knew right away that she would be a great fit for our day. She was so helpful with questions I had throughout and provided us with a great timeline for the wedding day. We were so pleased with the outcome of the pictures too! Melissa provides excellent quality with a great price...the wonderful personality and new friend are just an added bonus!

  Melissa was excellent, very fun to work with! The Senior pictures she took of my son turned out fantastic, and the value as more than I could ask for. I will definitely recommend her to anyone I know who is looking for a photographer, and I plan on re-hiring her to take family photos this spring!

  Honestly when I first met Melissa at a bridal show I thought her work was amazing, but I was afraid she was going to be out of our budget, even though photography was something we were willing to splurge on. After talking to and meeting with a million other vendors with no luck, I started reviewing the brochures I had received at bridal shows, and stumbled upon hers again. Surprisingly enough her prices weren't all that steep compared to similar quality photographers in the area AND she was willing to travel a couple hours to do our pictures! Once we met her, we knew without a doubt she was the one for us. (Just a back story, we always had a signal that we would do when we didn't like a vendor… a big X on the back of the other person… there were LOTS of those before we met Melissa!) We felt SO comfortable with her, and isn't that what good pictures are all about? Being relaxed, comfortable, and able to have a good time without making it looked forced? Anyways, the engagement session, which was rained out 3 times before we were able to actually have it (talk about dedication from her!) went amazing! She drove to the spot we wanted to use and shot for a good couple hours or so! We couldn't get enough compliments from our friends and family about how good they were! Then came the actual wedding. She brought another photographer with her, who I hadn't met so I was a bit nervous, and she was just as wonderful!!! Together we had lots of laughs and captured some really great moments. All of our family commented on how "unnoticed" she was at the wedding. She didn't feel the need to be up in people's faces, but still captured all the shots we wanted and then some! We all knew she was there, but she never once made pictures forced or awkward.
  
  I would HIGHLY recommend Melissa Copeland Photography to any bride that wants fun, good quality pictures. If you're looking for cookie cutter or posed pictures then she is not for you… you gotta have some personality!!! Oh, and if you are up for it, do the "first look"… it was one of the best moments of the entire wedding, and you don't even notice photographers are there!
