Stunning Custom Invitations & Exceptional Service!
My fiancé and I first met Melinda from Melinda Cantor Designs at a Bourne Mansion showcase. Once we booked, we were excited to begin the invitation process—especially after learning she creates custom designs specifically for the mansion!
From the very first meeting, Melinda was attentive, organized, and truly open to hearing all of our ideas. After viewing her beautiful portfolio, we knew we wanted something slightly different, and she immediately embraced the opportunity to create something unique that fit our vision.
She took her time ensuring every element of our invitation suite aligned perfectly with what we imagined—even designing new pieces from scratch. Throughout the entire process, she communicated clearly, responded quickly to every question, and kept everything seamless and stress-free.
The turnaround time was impressively quick, and we received our invitations well before our mailing date. They are absolutely stunning and exceeded every expectation. We cannot wait for our guests to see them! Highly recommend Melinda to any couple looking for exceptional, personalized invitations. -

Amazing!!!
Melinda did our invitations for our wedding! They came out absolutely perfect. She was very easy to work with and listened to all my suggestions and showed me what she can do and it came out amazing! 10/10 would recommend her to anyone looking for any wedding signage they might need -

Working with Melinda has been an amazing experience! We customized our dream wedding invitation suite as well as our day of event details with her. When you need the Expert!!
Melinda came recommended by my daughters wedding venue, Heritage Club. She had an invite in mind and Melinda made it come to life....and quickly! The details - From the wedding venue sketch on the inner envelope, to the colors and fonts, to the little bow added- the invite was simple yet elegant. The instructions for the guest list addresses was also simple to use and had so many great suggestions on how to address.
Melinda also explained timeline etiquette and explained that the invites should be out within a few weeks. She had the invites done within days! We so appreciate all of your time and expertise to create such a beautiful invite. -

Melinda was the best to work with! She really cares about each of her invitations and it shows! She is very meticulous and knows what looks best together. A Real Professional
Melinda worked with our family to produce a truly dazzling invitation suite. She was able to realize my daughter’s vision and we are so pleased. She has lots of samples to show of the various elements of the suite as well as papers, fonts, etc. Melinda is very creative and made suggestions that were right on point for the theme my daughter wanted. Melinda’s work is top notch, and she kept to the deadlines of the project. We are going to have her work with us to create the “day of” elements that will coordinate with the invitations. I highly recommend Melinda. She has a lot of experience in the business, and it shows. She is a pleasure to work with and is responsive to any concerns you may have. -

Amazing customized work!
Melinda was a pleasure to work with! She was so attentive to our wants, needs and concerns. She was able to help us come up with ideas and visions. She has so much inspiration to look at in her show room, which will give you ideas you may have never thought about before! She was able to take aspects from our wedding and incorperate it into our invitations, which made it feel like one of a kind! Incredible Experience!
Working with Melinda was wonderful. We had a specific idea in mind for our invitations, and she was able to show us a few options of exactly what we wanted. Amazing to work with
Melinda is amazing to work with. She is a true artist and a visionary. We needed an Indian wedding invitation for our Son's wedding. With no prior experience with the wedding invitations and not so sure about how to go about with the design, I stepped into Melinda's studio. Immediately I felt an enormous relief and knew that I was in good hands. Everything went so smoothly from the design to the final draft. The invitations were a work of art, beautiful, gorgeous and classy. We are still getting compliments on the invitations. We are so happy that we chose Melinda. I highly recommend Melinda for all your printing needs. She is the BEST in the business. -

Melinda’s work is one of a kind. Designing invites turned out to be my favorite part of wedding planning because of her. It was so much fun! Amazing Experience. Very Talented
Our decision to use Melinda for our wedding invitations was an easy one!!
First, we love supporting local vendors. Melinda has an adorable studio located in Stonybrook that made us feel at home. Plenty of samples to look over. Melinda is extremely talented. Once we explained our wedding and our vision for the invitations Melinda took over and created us an amazing product. The quality of paper and envelopes was by far 100 times better than any invitation we ever recieved from an online store or spect out through online stores. Best part of our experience was how dedicated Melinda was to meeting our deadline. We will ALWAYS use Melinda for any invitations or cards going forward. Thanks again!! -

You have to work with Melinda! Her work is incredible! Everything is top notch! She truly cares about every single detail. She goes above and beyond to make sure you are happy every step of the way. Not only is she professional and probably the best at what she does, but she’s also very personable and fun to work with. You can tell she truly loves what she does.
We started working with Melinda over a year ago. I wasn’t sure of what I wanted at first, but because Melinda asked the right questions, she was able to create save the dates and invitations that we fell in love with! Now we’re a few weeks away from our wedding working with her on our menus and place cards. Throughout this whole process she’s been attentive, patient and so helpful.
I know that I will be working with Melinda for years to come on any future events. -

Melinda’s work is amazing! I met with her twice and could not have had a better experience. She gave us 100% of her full attention and listened to exactly what we were looking for and gave us options/opinions which made our invitations even better! Additionally, she is such a sweet person. She is easy to get in contact with and very responsive. Her work is impeccable. She has SO many options to chose from and can customize and create literally anything you could think of or want. She is very easy to deal with and beyond accommodating. Prices are affordable too - go see her! She will work with you to create something in your price range and best part is you get to see it in person and make any changes you want/customize it to your liking before final prints. Melinda is an amazing woman who puts her whole heart into her work and cares about you as a customer. 5 stars are not enough - she needs 100!!! -

Great experience!
We spoke to and met with so many vendors throughout planning our wedding that only a few stand out and Melinda is one of them. From the moment I met Melinda at a Bourne Mansion showcase she was receptive to my ideas and extremely flexible. My fiancé and I met with her and placed the order the same day for our Save the Dates and invitation ensemble. Melinda presented us with different options to work within our price point.
Covid struck before our invitation ensemble was completed. When it came in Melinda met us at the car with her mask on and wished us the best. Working with her was a very pleasant experience and we will be repeat customers for any invitations we need in the future! -

I walked into Melinda’s store with no vision and no experience designing invitations. She took the time to get to know who I was and used our conversation to help us design the invitation of our dreams. We were not only over the moon with the final product but were so impressed in how Melinda communicated with us every step of the way. On top of that, she made the challenges of Covid manageable. We decided to use Melinda for most of our wedding decor! I would recommend Melinda for any of her services! -

Melinda Cantor Design - AWESOME!
Melinda and her team were amazing to work with! I contacted her based on an invitation suite photo I found on social media and she worked with me through facetime, emails and phone calls to effortlessly replicate what I was looking for in my budget! She gave great suggestions and quick responses and the end result was AMAZING! Sadly, COVID-19 put a damper on my wedding and I didn't need the additional details and stationary I was going to order in addition to my invitations. We are looking at doing another larger celebration and I will definitely being using Melinda again. Can't recommend enough! -

It was such a pleasure working with Melinda. My daughter presented her vision for her wedding invitations and Melinda's attention to detail made that vision come to be.She has an endless selection to choose from to make that one of a kind invitation. I would highly recommend Melinda Cantor Designs. She has an endless amount of options to choose from but listened to my ideas and led me in the right direction while being mindful of my budget. Unfortunately, right after my invitations were sent out my fiancé and I had to make the difficult decision to postpone our wedding due to Covid. I reached out to Melinda and she immediately responded with ideas for postponement cards as well as ideas for cost effective invites for the new date, she even sent me a beautiful handmade mask through the mail. A wonderful experience!
I had a very specific vision for our wedding invitations and Melinda went above and beyond to make it a reality. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19 we decided to postpone our June wedding. Melinda went out of her way to help us, and even printed an additional card for our suite with a postponement update. We absolutely love our beautiful custom letterpress invitations and would recommend Melinda in a heartbeat! -

Wonderful Experience
I've worked with Melinda on two separate occasions, my destination wedding and my baby shower-both of which I needed invitations a little faster than the average client! I couldn't have asked for a better experience! I loved having my own appointment ( at her gorgeous location) with Melinda to get ideas and review all the beautiful examples she has to offer! For both events, I ended up with amazing designs and received countless compliments on how perfect they turned out! I worked with Melinda from Only You Gifts to order invitations for my upcoming wedding in October and I could not be happier with how the invites turned out! I was looking for something classic, traditional and elegant and I was having trouble finding something that I really loved that was also within my budget. Melinda worked closely with me and found an invitation that we were able to add extra touches to in order to create what I was looking for, and was also able to stay within my budget. She was in touch with me throughout the whole process, answered all my questions quickly, was very easy to communicate with and was very patient and pleasant to work with. The invites turned out absolutely GORGEOUS and I cannot tell you how many of my guests have commented on them! Everyone has been calling and texting my fiance and I saying how beautiful they are and that they are the nicest invitations they have ever received! This is the only place anyone should consider when ordering invitations or any engraved gifts. They are great and working with Melinda was amazing. Me and my fiance had originally gone with someone else who was referred to us, and that person royally messed up our invitations. In a very last minute panic (less than 2 months before the wedding) we were left with no invitations. I found Only You and they made me feel so comfortable, helped me create a new design, the communication after our meeting was fantastic and I can honestly say they made miracles happen. They were able to get the perfect invitations put together in such a short amount of time and they looked absolutely beautiful. So many of our guests called the day they received our invitations just to tell us how beautiful they came out, and that they never saw an invite as beautiful as ours. My experience with Only You was absolutely wonderful! Not only are my invitations breathtaking; but Melinda was lovely to work with! I did a custom invitation with Melinda (since the invitation I had in my mind just didn't exist anywhere else!) and it came out incredible! Elegant, romantic and just truly sets the tone for our upcoming August wedding. Our guests have been asking us constantly where they were from and who did them! Melinda also created a custom reception dinner menu for each of our place settings that coordinated with our beautiful invitation. Wow, where do I begin?? When I was first looking for a local vendor who carried the Carlton Craft invitations I called three companies prior to Only You Gifts. They could care less about my potential business. The total opposite was the case with Only You Gifts in Islip. From the moment Melinda answered the phone she was professional, caring and she made me feel that she cared about my potential business. She immediately ordered me samples and we met within a week. Melinda was a huge help in planning the invitations for my son's Bar Mitzvah. She was so patient with me. Even after I came home from our meeting I called her to change something. She never had an attitude and always kept me updated, even after hours through emails. Even now three weeks after our event, I am still getting compliments on our invitations & party favors. My fiance and I are getting married November of 2015, and after having a difficult time with an online company, we decided to try Only You in Islip. We walked into our appointment, and Melinda was so friendly and willing to help. We placed the order that day, and within a week, she had emailed us the proof for the text for the invitations. Within 1-2 weeks after that, we got the proof for the actual invitation (color, font, etc.) During the whole process Melinda was excellent about keeping us in the loop about what was going on, and where we were in the process. About another weeks later,I picked up the invitations, and they look great! They came out exactly how we saw them in the proof. I had a fabulous experience working with Melinda at Only You Gifts! She took extra care to meet with my mother and I to discuss the save the dates and invitations for my upcoming wedding, allowing us as much time as we needed while looking through her large selection of invitations. She gave advice about wording and design when we needed it, and was extremely flexible when I wanted to slightly alter the color scheme of my chosen invitations. The final product looked great, and I received many compliments on the quality and style of my save the dates. She responded to emails immediately and provided very prompt service. She truly went above and beyond my expectations and I am so glad I chose Only You for my wedding invitations! -

I came to Melinda for my Wedding Invitations, Rehearsal Dinner Invitations, Escort Cards, & Table Numbers, as well as, my bridal shower invitations. She did an AMAZING job and I still get compliments on all of them! She sat with me, went through all the details, really got a feel, understood what I was looking for, and brought it all to life. She gives her professional opinion without making you feel like you have to do it her way. She's very creative, knows the trends out there for invitations, and gives suggestions to things that can tie everything together. She knows great work is in the details, and that she won't disappoint you on. The details in my items is really what made them different and personalized. She also knows different papers, printing types, etc. that are very important when it comes to your invitation looking great. After previously working with someone else on my save the dates who used the paper I wanted, (but later on finding out) she used the wrong printing technique - and then hearing that once these arrived in the mail - the ink ran and was very disappointed - I instantly felt very comfortable with Melinda's knowledge of everything, because the minute I showed her my save the date, she knew exactly what the other store did wrong. She really was fantastic to work with - made you very comfortable, is very detailed in her work - and enjoys what she does. I STRONGLY recommend her - you won't be disappointed!! -

There is a great area in the shop where you can sit and take the time to carefully look through as many books of invitations as you want- until you find the perfect sample! Melinda did an amazing job with our invitations. I was inquiring about originally getting them done at Hallmark. During the process of picking them out at Hallmark, I didn’t feel that confident about our invitations. They didn’t order them when they were supposed to, and couldn’t provide us any guidance.
I looked up local business that did invitations on wedding wire, and came across the most helpful place in many aspects (invitations, gifts, favors, tags, wrapping, save the dates etc) and it was right around the corner of my house!
My fiancé and I met with Melinda a day later after being at Hallmark. We had an idea of what we wanted and a budget we wanted to stay close to. Melinda was able to put together an invitation from colors, designs, to proper verbiage and all within our budget!
Then we came across another hurdle… these invitations needed to be sent out sooner than we expected. Melinda went out of her way to not just put the invitation together for us, but also put the proofs together, made sure everything was correct and placed the order within a day!
The invitations came in on time (within a week of placing the order), everything looked beautiful. Melinda walked us on how to stuff them properly and sent us on our way.
I trust Melinda for everything gift related. So I also went to her for the wrapping of the grooms wedding present. She did an excellent job, and wrapped with a beach theme.
Melinda takes pride in what she does, and has a true passion for personalizing all of these different services to your special occasion.
I was very happy with the services, and highly recommend to go to Only you for your special occasion.
