Let me start off by saying that my husband and I were extremely blessed to have won an all inclusive micro-wedding where Melanie was our photographer.
I don't think I've ever met a kinder or sweeter soul. I instantly loved her as well as her cool and calm demeanor. I never felt rushed and everything just flowed so naturally.
She has such an artistic eye and would take a lot of candid natural shots which I loved. Melanie was also open to any random requests I had for poses and pictures and never seemed aggravated by any of my questions, suggestions or even when I wanted to take a break from the photo shoot to go inside for cool air and cold water.
Melanie was there from the very beginning, many hours before any of my guests arrived. She was an absolute sweetheart to work with and I know I'll be coming back to her again for more beautiful pictures! -

Melanie is not only a very talented photographer but a very sweet human being. I love all her work, she does an excellent job at capturing the best moments. She is very professional, patient, responsive, kind. She was very helpful throughout the wedding planning process, always available for any questions, super flexible and our experience on the wedding day and the final result was amazing.
We had our engagement session with her as well and it was the best experience. It helped us to get confortable with her and the camera before the wedding, she encouraged us to be ourselves in front of the camera and it turned out amazing, She captured the sweetest moments during the engagement session and we really enjoyed having a photo session more intimate and at a slower pace than the wedding day.
I hope this review help other couples to make a decision, we could't be happier with us. We will definitely hire her in the future for other events. -

Best Photographer in South Florida!
Melanie captured all of our special moments. Every wedding day is hectic, however Melanie was punctual and a very effective photographer. She made everything so easy for us. She was the least of our worries on our wedding day. As we go through our photos, we're able to relive moments our wedding day all over again. The photo quality is impeccable and very clean! You will definitely not be disappointed. -

I’ve been utilizing Melanie Anne Photography for years and she captures the essence of every moment. She has a way of making the shyest person come out of their shell and enjoy the experience. Whether it’s a wedding, anniversary, corporate event, you name it she has an eye for it and I’ve hired her for all of those things. I had a shoot with Melanie last August and I could not have been more impressed with her work! She was very punctual, well prepared, and is probably the friendliest professional photographer you'll meet. Melanie is dedicated to her craft, and it shows - my photos looked phenomenal! I was very impressed at how she was able to improvise different looks, angles, and scenes that I would have never guessed to look for. She was able to take me on short notice while she was traveling through Chicago, which showed not only her skills but her willingness to be flexible as well. Great experience, loved her!
I have nothing but great things to say about Melanie. She traveled all the way from Florida to Portland, OR to do our family photos for us and our experience with her was awesome. She was sweet and professional. She made us feel so comfortable, including our little 2.5 year old daughter. We loved how our photos turned out and would absolutely recommend her to friends & family and everyone else for that matter! -

Fabulous last minute booking
I needed someone last minute to take some photos of my mother’s dog before he was put to sleep. Melanie’s second shooter was able to come out the very next day and created the most beautiful photos for us. The dog needed to be euthanized just 4 days later so she is truly a blessing to us. Quality is beyond expectations, we can wait to print and frame these! She and her crew were so kind & caring. She responded to most messages within a few minutes, she & her team exceeded expectations every step of the way. -

Melanie is a godsend. She's incredibly sweet and accommodating. I took a leap of faith when my coworker decided to offer me a photographer's contact info and promised me I wouldn't be disappointed. Melanie was my engagement photographer and is my wedding photographer. The engagement photos were perfect - all my insecurities about my body went out the window after seeing these jaw dropping photos. I cannot wait to see Melanie again and get in front of the camera on my wedding day. Still gushing over the love conveyed in this woman's work behind the camera!!! -

Spontaneous, Natural, Fun
My husband and I are so grateful to have met Melanie at the hotel in Portland on the weekend of our elopement. We had planned to take a few pictures and videos through our iPhones but in reality I was disappointed we wouldn’t get our moment captured better. The front desk woman gave us Melanie’s number and I called her right away. She was so enthusiastic to be able to get another session in her time there that she just offered her time and work FOR FREE. She was super flexible in getting us during her portrait session there. She made our elopement so memorable and made us enjoy this new highlight in our lives even more though the session. I am not photogenic and usually don’t know how to act in front of a camera but she made it very easy to do so because I was just interacting with my husband how I usually do and she was just there to catch those candids. Never during the session which included two locations by the way, did I feel like I needed to pose and directly look at the camera which made me so much at ease. I had never felt that comfortable with any other photographer. Even though we weren’t customers who paid, we definitely feel like we did because she edited our photos as professional as her other ones published on her Instagram and website. These are photos that will go with us during our lifetime together and are soon to be made into wedding announcements for our loved ones that they will have too. We really appreciate Melanie for helping us do that. We for sure will be hiring her for our future church wedding in California but we do thank her for her talent and time in taking such beautiful flicks that represent us as a couple and our intimate court wedding. -
