Mekina is the BEST!
We cannot say enough amazing things about Kenna. From the very beginning, she went above and beyond to make our wedding day feel so individualized and special. Having her do our engagement photos was such a wonderful experience—it gave us the chance to really get to know her, feel comfortable in front of the camera, and build a genuine connection before the wedding day.
On our wedding day, it truly felt like she knew us. Kenna captured every single special moment so beautifully, and her photos are everything I dreamed of—light, airy, and timeless. Looking through our gallery brings us right back to all the emotions of the day. We are beyond grateful for her talent, care, and dedication, and would recommend her to anyone looking for a photographer who truly pours her heart into her work. -

I saw a photo Mekina had taken at my venue in the welcome booklet, and I instantly knew she was the one. Booking her was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding.
From the moment my bridal party started getting ready, Mekina and her team felt like part of the girls—so easy to be around, fun, and incredibly organized. I didn’t have to worry about a single thing. She kept the day flowing while also keeping everyone relaxed and happy.
For our engagement shoot, she even traveled to Long Island at no extra cost to make things easier for us—and those pictures turned out phenomenal. We had our engagement gallery back in under two weeks!
Then came the wedding day... Mekina captured everything. Every emotion, every detail, every joyful little moment. I felt so at ease in front of her camera—she truly brought out the best in us.
And the turnaround? I woke up the next morning to 300 sneak peeks. I was blown away. And just like with the engagement shoot, I had the full wedding gallery in under two weeks.
Even my husband, who was originally hesitant about the cost of photography and videography, turned to me on the way home and said: “When we have a kid, I want to shoot with Mekina again.” That says it all. -

We had the absolute best experience with Mekina! From start to finish, she was incredible and helped make the entire day run so smoothly. Mekina went above and beyond to ensure I never felt stressed, and their calming, friendly presence made me feel completely comfortable and confident in front of the camera. My husband and I are not the most excited in front of the camera but that was not the case with Mekina!
When we received our photos they were beyond beautiful — truly more than I could have hoped for — and all of our friends and family are absolutely obsessed with them. We’re so grateful for Mekina's talent, professionalism, and kindness. Highly, highly recommend! -

Mekina is the best there is look no further!
I wanted a personal feel with the photographer I picked for our wedding so my hubby let me take the lead on choosing the photographer for our wedding. I didn't want this big company where I got assigned a photographer and didn't meet them till the day of the wedding. I was referred to Mekina from a friend who hired one of her colleagues for their wedding. Boy am I glad I made that decision in meeting her. I met Mekina last year and fell in love with her photography style instantly. She is a one woman show and knows what she is doing. We spoke so much about what my vision was and if I wanted any specific shots for the day of, which I thought was so thoughtful. Come the day of my wedding 10/07/2023, the weather was up and down but that didn't stop Mekina. Her and her team went above and beyond to make sure all my photos were captured how I wanted. I even got sunset pics that are absolutely BEAUTIFUL. I got so many compliments from family and friends about how amazing and sweet her and her team were. They even went out of their way to make sure they captured shots of our guests. Guests were being asked if they wanted pictures taken..like how awesome is that!? I felt like it was one of my lifelong friends capturing my big day, that's how Mekina and her team make you feel.
Treat yourself and get the RIGHT photographer. Mekina is it and I can't wait to use her again for the next milestone in my life! -

If you're looking for a wedding photographer, look no further!! Mekina was absolutely amazing to work with in all regards! First of all she was extremely timely- we got our engagement sneak peeks in 24 hours and the full gallery within 3 days, and we got our wedding sneak peeks in 24 hours and our full collection in just 2 weeks! Her turnaround time was absolutely incredible. Secondly, she was such a joy to work with - she has amazing energy, is so friendly, understood the vision we were going for with our photos, gave us great direction on how to pose and helped corral our large bridal party accordingly for photos. We also had a rainy wedding day and she was great at figuring out our time gaps of no rain to take absolutely stunning photos outside with no umbrellas. Her photos were so amazing no one believed that it was raining!
Our family and bridal party all raved about how great and friendly Mekina was and my bridemaids' only complaint was that there were far too many good photos to choose from for their Instagram posts. I would recommend Mekina for any photos you need taken but if you want your wedding photos to be ones you can look at time and time again for a lifetime, there's no one better! -

Mekina is an incredibly talented photographer who is able to capture all of the moments that you want documented without things looking staged. She also is so nice and easy to work with, and if trust me, your photographer is with you a lot on your wedding day, its nice to be around one that is like a friend. My family and guests are beyond happy with the photos- Mekina truly captured EVERYTHING from our wedding day in the most beautiful way possible- her colors and focus are just perfect. I can't wait to use all of our great photos and would 100% use her services again. -

Look No Further!
Mekina's photography was such a gift and a DREAM. I am so lucky to have the pictures that she took. She is so flexible and a pleasure to work with. She captured the the sheer joy that came through my family members, friends, and my husband and I. I will treasure these pictures forever! I do not even know where to begin!!! Booking Mekina for our wedding this summer was the best decision I made!!! Mekina is true professional and expert at her craft, and it shows through her stunning work. From day 1, Mekina was a dream to work with. She is incredibly sweet and kind, friendly, outgoing, attentive, confident and knowledgable. I felt like she was a true friend, and not just a vendor at our wedding. She put my husband and I's needs and wants first and foremost and made us feel so at ease. She even photographed my bridal shower, which was so amazing. I am completely and utterly in love with my bridal shower AND wedding photos, and I will never ever ever get over how beautifully and elegantly she captured our special moments. 20/10, 110% recommend Mekina to ALL brides and couples.
