I recently had the pleasure of working with Meghan, Sam, and Doris for my wedding, and I cannot speak highly enough about the experience! From the very first call, to the final delivery of our photos, they went above and beyond to make our day truly unforgettable.

I chose Meghan Elizabeth Photography after finding her on Instagram. I was looking for lighter/airy photos, which seemed to be her specialty! Her wedding package comes with an engagement photo shoot, which we loved because it gave us a chance to meet Meghan and connect with her before our wedding day. Meghan took charge on both the engagement session and wedding day, and as a bride I really appreciated that.
Meghan was SO reliable, answered the hundreds of questions I had, and executed my vision perfectly. Meghan and the other photographer she had with her on our wedding day made us feel so comfortable. I absolutely love our photos from our engagement session and our wedding. I would recommend Meghan to any bride!!! -

We originally found Meghan through the preferred vendors list at the Lodges at Gettysburg, which at the time we hadn’t even booked yet. We were very impressed with her work and she organized a zoom meeting for a chat for her to do our engagement photos.
From the very first meeting with Meghan my husband and I knew that it didn’t matter what venue we booked or where we took the photos we wanted Meghan to be our photographer. She was so kind and down to earth, she provided guidance for us about wedding planning ideas we were uneasy about, shared insight when we asked about her wedding and was genuinely happy to helpful all before we even formally committed to her.
Our engagement photos were stunning, we had maybe 20 minutes before it started to rain and you would never know looking at the photos. She used every opportunity to make us comfortable and knew how to get the best shots in every situation. It was like hanging out with a long time friend goofing off taking pictures.
With all the vendors I started to worry about getting everyone all on the same page. No sooner did I worry did Meghan send out a very detailed and thorough survey that she shared with all my vendors.
Day of ceremony I thought of nothing not even the photos that were in my need to have list she took care of everything! I spent hours reliving my wedding through the photos she got. I loved that she took so many photos of all the details and the guests. It was so nice to look at them and see moments that we missed even though we were sitting right there. I cannot thank her enough for my wedding photos. I hate my picture being taken as does my husband and the moments she captured I look at over and over.
In addition to being the best photographer we could have asked for she also helped us in so many other ways, sanity when it all got overwhelming, advice when we needed it, getting on the ground and bustling my dress! Because I completely forgot about it.
Meghan was truly amazing and one of our favorite parts of our wedding. My husband and I are already in agreement that should we ever need professional photos again Meghan will be our first call. -

Excellent!
We found Meghan through our wedding venue who recommended her as she had done weddings there before and had done a great job. We reached out to her to see if she had our date available and thankfully she did! She scheduled a zoom meeting with us soon after and we got to talk and get to know more about her and her business as well as look through some of her work. We thought her photography style was beautiful and we decided she would be the right fit for us! Meghan was very good about keeping in contact with us and answering any questions we had throughout our planning process. We got to have an engagement shoot with her where we got to know her a little bit better and that made us even more excited to have her as our wedding photographer! Meghan and her team did such an incredible job capturing our wedding day and we are so happy with our photos. They turned out amazing and we will treasure these photos forever. Meghan captured all the great moments from our day. We are so happy we were able to have her as our photographer. -

We are so fortunate to have found Meghan to be our photographer. She was everything we could have hoped for and more, consistently going above and beyond to ensure that the experience was as stress-free and enjoyable as possible. Communication was very easy and Meghan was very responsive, even to the last-minute pre-wedding emails. She made sure to touch base with us shortly before the big day to make sure everything was ready to go, and she had extremely thorough planning tools to make sure everything we needed was accounted for. We're also very glad that Meghan did our engagement shoot too; it made the wedding day go so much smoother to already have that in-person relationship. When Meghan arrived in the wedding suite it was like a friend was walking in. She and her team were extremely helpful and fun to work with throughout the entire day. And, of course, the photographs are absolutely incredible. We now have a wonderful keepsake that we're thrilled to be able to show off; we're actually having trouble deciding which ones to order prints of because there are so many that we love! -

Meghan was super easy to work with and she was very nice! She went above and beyond especially on the wedding day making sure we had all the pictures we wanted. She guided us through planning for pictures as well. Her editing style is so beautiful- it worked perfectly with our ceremony venue and reception venue. She is so talented- every photo is worthy of a magazine! Her mix of posed and candids was perfect as well. We just printed out a bunch of the pictures to put on our wall to treasure forever! The best decision!
From the moment we met Meghan via Zoom I knew she was the perfect fit to capture our wedding day! She was so responsive and easy to communicate with throughout the whole planning process. She made our engagement session so comfortable and our wedding day so fun! We had a huge bridal party and she corralled everyone and coordinated everything so well. Not only is she an incredible photographer but she is such an amazing person inside and out. She truly will be your biggest fan on your wedding day and make you feel so special and beautiful. Great communication, amazing product, and the best supporter on your wedding day
Meghan is everything I was looking for in a wedding photographer and more from planning, to day-of, and the amazing high quality product delivered. Meghan ensures she gets to know you as a couple and captures every special moment you planned for your wedding day. My husband and I are not center-of-attention kind of people so we were very anxious about all these photos "we had to take" on the wedding day. She removed all sources of anxiety and was able to capture real, candid moments of my husband and me. She also is great with kids. So impressed how she was able to get an exhausted 3 yr old ring bearer to look at the camera for our numerous rounds of family photos. The photos are gorgeous. I love Meghan's editing style and I am obsessed with our photos.
Great communication. Caters to the personality of the couple. On top of everything - so you can just focus on your soon to be spouse and your wedding day. -

We worked with Meghan for our engagement portraits as well as our wedding photos. Photography was one of the highest priorities on my vendor list, and I couldn’t be happier! She was helpful, organized, and friendly during every single meeting. All of the photos are amazing, and we got every single shot I could have asked for. The editing is so dreamy and beautiful, and we got our full gallery back ahead of schedule! Day-of our wedding, she kept us ahead of schedule, helped me with my bustle, and generally helped everything go smoothly. Writing a review is hard because no words will do justice to Meghan's work and professionalism, but I'll try my best.
I first met Meghan in 2019 when she did engagement/family photos for my now husband, stepdaughter, and our dog, and we connected with her immediately. She was friendly, fantastic at directing us through poses, managed to get my stepdaughter to have a natural smile, and managed to make our dog look great. She delivered our photos promptly, and they were gorgeous. Fast-forward to a couple of years later, I reached out to aking her for last-minute professional photos, and I had the same experience. She did a fantastic job, and I still get compliments on my LinkedIn headshot.
Our best experience with Meghan thus far, however, has been our wedding. Meghan didn't actually shoot our wedding because she was on maternity leave, but she was still incredible throughout the entire process. My partner and I had to postpone our wedding because of COVID, and she was amendable and responsive. When she found out that she'd be on maternity leave during our wedding, she let us know in a timely manner and set us up with one of her associates promptly. We had an extensive Zoom call with her associate, where she went through all the details of the wedding to make sure everything would be covered. She created a comprehensive timeline, and she edited and delivered our photos within a month (with a newborn!).
Working with Meghan throughout the years has been one of our best investments. My partner and I can't wait to have her capture other life moments as they come. We highly recommend her for all of your photography needs. -

Absolutely amazing
Meghan made our whole wedding day experience a dream come true. Planning a wedding during the pandemic was not the easiest task. Not only was Meghan our photographer but she was also there to help us find other vendors and support us in any way we needed her. Meghan and her team made our day run seamlessly by keeping us on schedule while also making it fun and had everyone enjoy getting pictures done! Your photographer just might be the most important vendor you will hire for your wedding, and we were so fortunate to have Meghan capture our day. Meghan was the member of our team that we hired and we knew right away after meeting on Zoom that she understood us and the style we were going for. Meghan is talented, knowledgeable, and captured the moments beautifully!
Our engagement photos were taken in Baltimore in Summer 2020 and was a great way to get to know Meghan and for her to get to know us. We love the platforms she uses for payment and posting the photos. Over time, Meghan's care for us was apparent and that in itself differentiates her from others in the business. We always felt loved and cared for.
On our wedding day, Meghan and Christine were prompt, and gracefully moved through the day. From helping me with my train, to staying calm when we ran a few minutes behind, both ladies felt like part of the family, even though they were "working." Meghan and Christine also made fantastic recommendations for poses and shots we hadn't considered.
We are so happy with all of the photos and the quality. The little moments that were captured are everything. Our photos are beautiful heirlooms that will be cherished for years to come. We couldn't have chosen a better person, photographer, or friend to capture our day! -

Meghan is beyond incredible. I honestly could not have asked for a better person to photograph our wedding! Meghan does so much more than just being a photographer, she was a calm presence during the day. Meghan and her associates are professional, organized, prompt, and remarkably talented.
We found Meghan through the Lodges at Gettysburg Bridal Show and originally booked her in March 2020 to photograph our December 2020 wedding. When COVID hit and shut everything down we were caught in the crossfire with other 2020 couples and ALL of our plans hung in limbo. Meghan reached out to us multiple times just to check in and let us know she was thinking about us, which is beyond her responsibility and shows how compassionate she is and how much she values her couples.
We were finally able to get engagement pictures taken on October 2020 and they were fabulous! They were clean, bright, and somehow exuded the happiness we felt about our engagement. We were very impressed! Unfortunately, we wound up having to postpone our December 2020 wedding to December 2021. She made the rescheduling process so easy and was very flexible and accommodating.
When we finally got to our wedding, when had everything organized and ready to go! We met via Zoom to discuss details and she had a detailed schedule (a girl after my own heart!) and communicated with our other vendors where she would be and when. The day of the wedding she and her associates arrived ahead of schedule and got right to work! She went above and beyond; helping figure out dresses and bustles throughout the day.
The pictures are phenomenal. I absolutely cannot believe how gorgeous they are. They are colorful, bright, and soft. Meghan and her team expertly captured the magic of the day. We had sneak peeks at the end of the wedding and the turn around time for the full album was very quick! The pictures are beautiful, They are edited extremely well, but not too much! The team did and amazing job of capturing special moments of the day. There are so many sweet moments in our pictures that show the things we want to remember the most about the day. Meghan has an amazing eye for detail as well, and made sure to capture the special details throughout the day so we will always remember them.
I would proudly and confidently recommend Meghan to anyone looking for a photographer for their special day, She is a true professional who is organized, efficient, and deeply caring about her couples. Meghan made us feel comfortable in front of the camera and was a calm presence. I am so thankful we chose Meghan and her team! -

Hiring Meghan and her team for our wedding was by far, the best decision we made! Meghan was the first vendor we hired and after meeting with her via Zoom, we knew immediately that we had to have her! Working with Meghan and Sam was wonderful. Wedding planning can be very hectic - especially when you need to reschedule in the midst of a pandemic. Meghan and Sam were incredibly accommodating throughout everything, and their commuinication was great throughout the planning process. Any question we sent their way was answered throughly and promptly. We also loved being able to meet Sam during our engagement photo shoot. Not only did we get a sneak peek of what to expect for our wedding, it was great to meet Sam and get more comfortable being in front of the camera prior to the big day.
Wedding day went so smoothly, too. Meghan's schedule helped to keep us on track throughout the day. Even with a slight change of plans during our photos due to some rain, we hit all of the spots we wanted to take pictures at (and more!).
Overall, our experience with MEP was amazing. We highly reccommend working with Meghan and her team for your big day. -

Meghan was one of the best choices we made for our wedding! We cannot recommend her highly enough. From day one, she was personable, friendly, and communicative. She was also extremely patient with us throughout the pandemic when we had to shift plans a bit. Our engagement photos, "microwedding" photos, and full celebration photos are amazing and we couldn't be happier. Our family and friends love them as well and have given us many compliments on them. I'm also very awkward and not a natural model by any means, but Meghan made us feel comfortable and the photos show that! She was also efficient and got the job done - she definitely knows what she's doing.

My love affair with Meghan began with her stunning photography on Instagram; it grew to a true friendship during our engagement photos; and then after two years of our COVID wedding journey, she became family. They say the dress sets the tone for your wedding planning but in our case, Meghan’s photography was at the center of all three of our COVID weddings that we planned. When we were picking a date for our final plan, my now-husband said to her, “We will get married on whichever date works for you – you are family at this point.’
Meghan clearly has a true gift with her phenomenal photography, but when you book Meghan you also get a calm, positive and loving friend to support you through the whole wedding process and throughout your big day. From the moment we booked her, Meghan’s communication was consistent, encouraging and creative! At one point she sent us a unicorn-themed date-night game. She not only provided us with detailed timelines and photo lists, but also formed relationships with our other vendors. She values getting to know her couples and she made us feel so comfortable when taking photos by coming up with cute, little scenarios and prompts that matched our life. Once we received our photos, all of our dreams came true! Every single photo was breathtaking with her dreamy editing style. I can’t possibility pick photos to print without it becoming wallpaper in my home. We just can’t wait to book her again for another life event. -

Meghan and her team were an absolute joy to work with during our wedding in October. Meghan was extremely easy to work with throughout the planning process (which was an extra blessing considering the majority of the planning happened during COVID - one less thing to stress about!) and made sure my fiance and I had planned out our photography needs/requests ahead of time so there was no stress on the actual day. On the actual wedding day, Meghan and her team were professional, friendly, and made everyone feel super comfortable in front of the camera. One big takeaway from working with MEP was that wedding pictures are truly investments! We were lucky to have Sam, one of MEP's associates, document our special day. Sam truly helped set the tone for my wedding day --- she kept me so relaxed and made me laugh when I needed it. But more importantly, Sam captured the emotion of this special day. We count ourselves very lucky to be among the people that found Meghan to work with as a photographer. From our first FaceTime meeting (right before COVID hit in full force this March), we were completely at ease talking to Meghan. She was patient as we navigated the uncertainties of wedding planning during a pandemic, upbeat, and very down to earth. We already loved her work from her blog and galleries and were thrilled that she had our date open. The morning of my wedding day was very hectic, but Meghan, and her 2nd photographer, Christina Tundo were helpful, kind, and generous. They remained professional and "in the background" as photographers usually do, but they also connected with my bridal party, and got some AMAZING shots of the day, especially portraits of me and my husband and candid shots of people celebrating at the reception. My whole family loved the photos we shared with them this Christmas and my mother-in-law could not stop raving about how great our photographer was. Wedding planning can be overwhelming... the decision to hire Meghan Elizabeth Photography was by far the easiest (and most rewarding) decision I made! After meeting Meghan for the first time, I knew right away that she had to be our wedding photographer. She is creative, easy-going, reliable, organized and professional. She helps put together your day of schedule, explains the time that is needed for bridal party, family and most importantly Bride & Groom photographs! She captures the most beautiful and REAL images throughout your big day. I'm so thankful she could photograph my Spring wedding, I'm absolutely obsessed with the sneak peek images we've seen so far... I've already printed and it's only been two weeks!!
Her second shooter Christine, is also amazing! She got to spend time with my husband and his groomsman while everyone was getting ready. The photos I've seen so far are perfect, she captured the outgoing character of my guy and all his buds. I had picked Meghan to be our wedding photography before we were even engaged! Two Facebook friends had used her and I immediately fell in love with her work! So when we picked our venue and date she was the first vendor we contacted. After meeting her I knew we made a great decision. She immediately made us feel so comfortable!
We had our engagement pictures done in May and even my husband felt at ease during the somewhat awkward posing.
Honestly at our wedding there were times I didn't even know she was there taking pictures, which allowed my husband and I to truly be in the moment.
I have shown pictures to people who have actually been moved to tears because of her work. A lot of people have asked me if she was a good friend of mine, because she captured us so perfectly.
I'm lucky to consider her a friend and I KNOW that during the planning process if I had needed help with ANYTHING she would have done it.
I knew at the end of the day when the wedding was over, the one thing I would have still was our pictures. We will treasure them for the rest of our lives and look forward to using Meghan for years to come! -

We are so impressed with Meghan and her team for their excellent preparation in shooting and schlepping the entire wedding party (plus a baby!) all over New York City in various landmark locations in cold weather. This was no easy feat and required a lot of energy and careful planning, and Meghan pulled it off without a hitch and was absolutely amazing, positive, and upbeat during the entire process. It was also very tricky to shoot our first kiss with the confetti canons that we planned, and Meghan pulled it off effortlessly. The photos all came out beautifully (see attached)- we really couldn't be happier. We appreciate how Meghan thoughtfully planned out and efficiently executed all the portraits and shots we wanted to take. We can't thank Meghan and her team enough for all their hard work! You'll be in excellent hands if you choose to work with Meghan.

Kara Sent on 07/08/2017When my now-husband and I were first choosing a wedding photographer, we found ourselves debating between Meghan and a slightly larger company. We are so, so happy we went with Meghan. Not only is she an amazingly talented photographer, but we also came to feel like she was a friend.
We had our engagement session at a winery last fall. This was the first time my husband and I had had pictures taken together, so we were feeling a bit shy in front of the camera. Meghan convinced us that we didn’t look as awkward as we felt, and the resulting photos were gorgeous—plus she got them to us in less than half of her estimated turnaround time.
On the wedding day itself, she arrived a few hours before the ceremony to take some detail and getting ready shots with the bridal party, while her awesome second shooter, Christine, went to work with the groom and best men. Throughout the entire day she was patient, fun, and full of energy and direction—despite the fact that her and Christine had to drive roughly 2 hours each way to make it to our venue.
We had multiple sneak peeks from the wedding within a day or two. She also had a full blog post of pictures up only two weeks or so after the day of, along with a gallery of pictures she had edited so far to tide us over.
Given how much we’ve loved all of our engagement and wedding photos, we absolutely can’t wait to see the rest of Meghan’s shots. If you’re considering hiring Meghan, do it—you won’t regret it! We can’t recommend her enough.
