Best pictures to last a lifetime!
Megan is wonderful! From our first initial conversation we knew she was going to be our wedding photographer. The whole process can feel overwhelming, like speed dating to find the right person to capture moments of your wedding day, no pressure! Megan’s personality, kindness, and overall vibes were why we picked her. She made us feel comfortable!
Once we booked, we scheduled our engagement photographer session with her. She fully embraced our request to have our, at the time, 6 month old lab puppy and all his high energy join us. These engagement photos still are some of my favorite photos to this day. She made us feel confident and comfortable in front of the camera. She made us smile, genuinely laugh, and remind us why we fell in love all over again. Honestly, our engagement photo session was such a fun date night! We were beyond happy with our results and used these photos for our save the date cards.
When planning and preparing for our wedding day, Megan has everything very organized. As a bride that needed everything organized, I really appreciated her professionalism throughout this process. She sent us a questionnaire of who we wanted pictures with, both wedding party and guests. She also provided us with a wonderful timeline for the day. Megan’s timeline for our wedding day is what I used to guide when my hair and makeup artists needed to come in the morning.
Our wedding day went by flawlessly! Megan captured all the most important moments while also making it feel like she wasn’t there. We were still able to live in the moment. From the smiles, tears, laughs, dancing, and tiny details- Megan and her team captured it all. We can relive our wedding year after year with her timeless photos that we will show our grandchildren one day.
We would highly recommend Megan and her team to all our friends and family. In fact, we recommend her for my cousins wedding and interacting with her as part of a bridal party instead of a bride was equally as enjoyable. Thank you Megan and team for capturing our wedding!! -

While looking for wedding photographers in Rochester, many of the sites we looked at appeared dull and lifeless, focusing on darker tones. However, we stumbled upon Megan's site, and her work was radiant in color, light, and emotion. My wife fell in love with the brightness of her work, so we contacted her.
Megan was prompt and communicated well, organizing a Google Meet to introduce us to each other to figure out what we were looking for (we didn't have many requests, we just wanted to have timeless photos). She was also phenomenal for our engagement shoot at Cobbs Hill Reservoir. She was very clear and encouraging in showing us what we had to do, yet it never felt overly rigid or awkward. We loved the direction, and the end results were spectacular!
In the weeks prior to the wedding, she did everything to keep the process calm and stress-free. Another brief video call to settle the details and the shot list, and we were good to go. On the wedding day itself, I had Jackie with the guys while they were getting ready and she was delightful, laid-back and fun. She captured many great candid moments.
With the bridesmaids, Megan struck the perfect balance. She could read the room so well — when my wife needed a moment of quiet, she instinctively stepped back and gave me that space without it ever feeling awkward. At the same time, she was attentive and proactive, setting up beautiful detail shots without us even needing to ask. She also made everyone - the bridesmaids, my mother-in-law, and my wife - feel completely at ease in front of the camera. It felt natural, never forced, and the results show in the photos.
After the ceremony, Megan was fantastic at organizing people for the group shots - and throughout the night she made sure to get candids with everyone; on the dance floor, at each table, everything!
The photos... wow! They were phenomenal! She captured all the huge moments, all the little, in-between moments, and somehow made it seem effortless. We received the full gallery in less than two weeks, which was simply incredible. It was so fun to go through them during our honeymoon!
We can’t recommend Megan enough. She is undeniably gifted and professional, and she has a knack for what she does. If you are searching for a wedding photographer and even for any other type of event, hire her. You won't regret it! -

100/10 Megan just gets it! Right from the jump we knew Megan had to be with us for our big day. She respected when we wanted to do private vows and leaned into the candidness of real life rather than forcing poses out of us - that doesn't mean she didn't give perfect directions to ensure we got the right photo though! She was the perfect blend of hype woman and coach. It's your big day and you have a lot to think about - take this off your plate and book with Megan, trust! -

We felt so comfortable with Megan from the first call we had with her - she is so professional, fun, and talented! We had such a great time at our engagement shoot and an even better time on the wedding day. Megan was able to find great poses for beautiful photos, which was SO helpful for two people who don’t love getting their photo taken. We also absolutely loved all candid shots she captured. We were in tears on our honeymoon looking through our sneak peek less than a week after our wedding, and we received the full portfolio shortly thereafter. Could not recommend Megan more!! -

If you've seen any of Megan's photos, you can tell she is an amazing photographer. We had the joy of working with Megan for our wedding photography and are beyond obsessed with our wedding photos. Megan has this magical way of making your feel comfortable. My husband and I aren't used to having our photos professionally taken, so we felt super awkward going in but after just a few moment with Megan it feels like a friend taking your photo. She is the absolute best person to have as your wedding photographer, just the sweetest person to have cheering you on while she captures the big day. -

I can’t recommend Megan enough to all the brides looking for a photographer! Megan is the photographer of your dreams. She instantly creates a calm and fun environment around her and will instantly make you feel like you’re best friends.
Her work is breathtaking! I was looking for a photographer who wasn’t afraid of bright, vibrant color and oh my god she NAILED IT!! Her organization and professionalism throughout my wedding planning was amazing. I still get compliments DAILY on my wedding photos and that’s because of her and Adam 💗 they gave us the best gift of all! I wish I lived closer to her to give all my support to her and her business. Best Decision Ever!
Megan and Adam were incredible to work with! After having Megan shoot our engagement photos, I quickly booked a boudoir shoot after being around her vibrant and excited energy! She made us feel so comfortable, and truly captured us and everything we wanted. Our wedding day went seamlessly, and we enjoyed their presence, sense of direction, and freedom to explore the venue. Our photos were amazing, and we loved having them on our big day! -

The most magical experience
Our experience was seamless and beyond what we ever expected. From our engagement photos to the days leading up to the wedding. The communication was quick and we were able to get all the shots and more. My expectations were blown way above what I thought could even be possible. My husband and I felt so comfortable from the very beginning, just being ourselves. We now have the most incredible photos & video and can’t thank Megan and Adam enough. Fast and Quality!
Megan was absolutely amazing to work with! She was so easy to communicate with and she always was good about getting back to me, even during busy season. I am very awkward and she made me feel so comfortable during the engagement photos and on the wedding day! She was great with directing how to pose and make it feel normal and natural. She knew how to get all the little details and big moments!
We had our wedding inside a darker venue with really no natural like. The photos were beautiful and had no shadows! I can’t express how much I love our photos!
She also gave us all our photos within a month, yes a month of the wedding!! It was amazing to relive the wedding so quickly!!
Highly recommend Megan for your wedding! -

We were so happy we chose Megan Antalek Photography for our wedding! It was everything we wanted in a wedding photography experience: easy communication, reliable planning and prep, and a wonderful presence on the day of the wedding. Megan is amazing to hang out with, and blends in so naturally even among the hustle and bustle of a wedding day! She and her partner capture every aspect of the day that you want documented with ease and grace. I think one of her greatest strengths is in helping pose and arrange photos while still maintaining a natural feel and avoiding the awkward stiff posed portrait experience. We got to enjoy the day and relax knowing it was all being captured beautifully. She got some sneak peak photos too us withing days, and our full gallery in just a few weeks! Megan was one of our first vendors booked outside of the venue and I'm 99% sure I checked to make sure she had our date (booked June 2020 for October 2022) available or I would've changed our date. I had been following her for a while online and just loved her work and personality. She would do live pop ups on her insta stories and just had that type of personality you want to be around just makes you feel good-- and who doesn't want to feel good day of? Megan went beyond that she made us feel good the entire planning process, any questions were answered almost immediately or within a very timely manner. I had done another shoot with her with her boudoir business and after that I knew without a doubt she was who I wanted to photograph our wedding- I knew before that but until you meet someone because THANKS COVID we had to have our meetings via facetime. The sneaks she provided to us last night literally made me cry. They are fantastic. She is fantastic. I don't live in Rochester but knew she was who I wanted and I had to have her. I HIGHLY suggest if you come across this fantastic womans page to book her ASAP before she's booked solid because she is phenomenal at her job and will book up quickly. I am so glad to call her a friend now and to still get to talk with her after our wedding. She is literally the happiest human I know and brightens every room. She was so efficient day of the wedding I felt like we lost no time with guests because of how well oiled her and her second shooter aka her husband are. My family who can be quite critical have all had nothing but rave reviews. Once again if you have the opportunity to have Megan be your photographer- take it. Because I have a feeling you'll fall in love with her (and her husband) like we did. -

I could go on and on and on about how much we loved having Megan as our photographer. She became more than just a vendor to us over the two years we spent getting to know her between our proposal (which she photographed) and wedding day; she feels like a true friend. Megan's husband, Adam, was our second photographer and he is just as wonderful. They make a great team! Megan is the kind of person who makes you feel so comfortable and at ease, even on the most important day of your life. We felt so calm during our photos and she really made those moments relaxed and enjoyable for us. The smiles and laughs in our photos are genuine because she is so fun to be around. We aren't used to getting our pictures taken but she made it feel natural. On top of providing an amazing experience, she also provided gorgeous photos that we will treasure for the rest of our lives. We loved how she captured not only us as a couple, but also the venue, our friends, decorations, flowers, people dancing, etc. She recommended watching our photos in slideshow mode with a glass of wine, which is exactly what we did, and it felt like we truly got to relive our day. Megan is so incredibly sweet and bubbly, and she made all of our experiences fun and easy. Her package includes an engagement session, which was the perfect way for us to get to know each other well before the big day. Megan knew exactly what types of photos we were looking for, and she has such a great eye for that beautiful lighting & the perfect candids. We were so thrilled with the final results, which were delivered less than a month after our wedding day!
If you’re also looking for a videographer as well, she offers a great deal to work with her husband Adam, and it’s absolutely worth it! He compiled the most beautiful footage of our day in a highlight reel, and provided all of the raw footage of the big moments as well.

We had an outstanding experience with Megan! From my first phone call with Megan, I knew that she would be so much fun and would make sure that things ran smoothly throughout my day. We thoroughly enjoyed our engagement shoot that was free as part of our package; this truly made us feel so much more comfortable with taking pictures so that it would all feel natural on our wedding day. On our wedding day itself, both her and Adam captured all of the pictures that we had requested and did a phenomenal job of efficiently taking all of our portraits without feeling rushed. We loved our first look and had so much fun taking our pictures; they made the whole experience feel natural. We sadly had the rain start coming down part way through our pictures, which turned into heavy rain, yet they continued to take our pictures despite getting slightly drowned themselves in order to capture more shots for us in the vineyard. Our pictures turned out absolutely GORGEOUS despite the rain, I have no idea how they did it but wow. The colors are unbelievable in our sunset photos as well. Our sneak peek consisted of 50 photos which made me super excited, and 3.5 weeks after our wedding, we had our full gallery. I am totally obsessed with our photos and still have no idea how I am going to narrow all of these hundreds of amazing photos down to a reasonable number for our album. I am so glad that we chose Megan and am so thankful to have all of these wonderful memories captured forever. -

If you could list off positive attributes, any of them would describe Megan. She is dedicated, hard working, pays attention to detail, focused, enthusiastic, fun, etc. I’ve known Megan since high school & photography has always been her passion. On your wedding day Megan will make sure she captures any special moment you can imagine before you even think of it. She’s always ten steps ahead and prepared. Megan is flexible & always prepared to think on the fly if you have an idea or sporadic change of plans. After the wedding Megan had our gallery ready so incredibly soon & even sent us a sweet wedding gift. I even had a request after viewing my gallery for something to be photoshopped & she had no hesitation to make my photos everything I wanted them to be. Megan even teams up with her husband who films videography. Together, they are a power couple who excel not only at their jobs but making your day SO MUCH FUN!! -

Megan and Adam went above and beyond anything we could have dreamed of! Our photos came out BEAUTIFULLY. The amount of detail and time that Megan took was top notch. One of the few nice things in 2020!
Megan was perfect! My friend luckily suggested her after finding her for her own wedding and after speaking on the phone since we lived a few hours away I knew she would be the perfect person for our Wedding day! Fast forward a few months in 2020 - a pandemic and a million changes later she was still on board AND was able to squeeze in our “engagement” shoot just to get our awkward poses out of the way! She not only crushed our shortened wedding with only a few in attendance and by our side all while making it look the same as any other wedding she also had hurt her back prior and no one would have known! I recommend her many times over. -

Photos were hands down the most important part of the wedding for me (aside from us getting married - naturally). I wanted to be able to look back on my photo's and recall what I was feeling at that very moment and if I couldn't remember I wanted to be able to feel the emotion that was being expressed in the photo. Megan and Adam delivered exactly that! I researched SO many photographers and looked through so many galleries because I knew exactly what I wanted and I'm extremely particular. Many of the galleries I looked at were beautiful but over edited for my taste or editorial, too high of a contrast or maybe too bright. I wanted my photo's to be as natural and close to real life as possible and that's why I kept coming back to Megan's website. Just viewing her gallery I could already tell it delivered on everything I was looking for and for my wedding it was no different. On to Megan as a person and vendor. Megan is a freaking work horse and as sweet and down to earth as can be! She will cheer you on and be super excited about anything to do with your wedding. We were engaged for 10 months before being married so by the time we took our engagement photo's we needed them right away for our save the dates and within a week from our shoot we got the photos back. I also did a boudoir photoshoot with Megan and gifted an album to my husband on our wedding day. She was SO easy to work with and I felt very comfortable and relaxed. She plays off of what works best for you and that really help with something so intimate. BTW - I did the photoshoot a couple weeks before the wedding and she managed to edit photo's, send me proofs of the layout and get the album in time for my wedding. She's a freaking magician! The talent this woman has is absolutely incredible and I'm so happy I found her. I was a bit of a mess on my wedding day having forgotten my veil at home and she took charge and grabbed all of my details to get photo's in while I was having a delay in my timeline and she knew exactly what needed to be done even with the wedding mishaps. She's truly the best and I PROMISE you will not regret working with her. Megan thank you so much for being a part of our day! I am truly blessed to have been able to work with you -

Talented, Creative, & Refreshing Photographer
Megan Antalek Photography went above and beyond our expectations for our wedding. The venue we chose was not only a new experience for Megan, but also a difficult space to photograph in, due to a lack of natural lighting. We knew we needed someone incredibly talented & willing to adjust to this environment. Megan's talent and creativity brought it all together - she was able to adjust and provide beautiful photos that we will remember forever. Our wedding parties told us how fun it was to be photographed by her and really appreciated her down-to-earth personality. A few of our guests mentioned that Megan was not only personable, but noted how they witnessed Megan maneuvering around the space to provide the best shots and also not interrupt everyone's experience. I could go on and on for days - since the day we met Megan, to our package included engagement photos, and our big day, she was a dream photographer who can do it all! I also want to mention that the small things (surprises in the mail, a meet and greet to show her portfolio and get to know your vision, helping me with my veil and dress, selflessly responding to never-ending questions and bride anxieties! lol, etc.) that she does for her clients are SO appreciated and SO lovely. It is refreshing to have met Megan and supported such an amazing woman. -

I almost didn't want to write Megan a review because I'm selfish and want her open to do all of my friends' weddings, too! I truly could not recommend her more highly.
After looking through 50+ photographers' portfolios and meeting with several, Megan was recommended to us by a friend. Immediately after scrolling through her Instagram, I knew she was the one for us. Her photographs are the caliber of a much more expensive photographer and she could not have been more accommodating. She traveled all the way from her home in Rochester to ours in Albany to do our (included in the package!) engagement shoot and was SO excited when we asked if we could include our pup in the pictures, too. Her enthusiasm and positive attitude literally never waned, even after I had sent her many emails asking her advice on different aspects of our wedding.
For the big day, she again traveled from Rochester to our venue in Binghamton, bringing her husband, Adam, with her as a second shooter. They made a wonderful, laid back team! Megan sweet, unintrusive and polite, yet she had no issue at all dealing with keeping my bridal party on schedule and dealing with unruly family members. By the end of our cocktail hour pictures, it felt like we were shooting with just another friend.
Needless to say, our pictures exceeded our wildest expectations. Neither my husband nor I are particularly confident in front of the camera, yet people have not stopped raving since we got our pictures back! -

Megan is so worth it. Our day was crazy and Megan STILL managed to get a million amazing shots!!! She’s organized, professional, energetic, and so insanely talented. She did all of our photos from engagement, grooms gift, and of course... our wedding! -

She was very organized and checked in with us often throughout the planning process. On our wedding day she was also very prepared and assisted in our day going smoothly. Our images came out stunning. We are so thankful to have our special memories captured for us so perfectly.

She photographed our wedding and our engagement photo shoot, and both were gorgeous. She took a lovely balance of portraits, candid shots, artistic/abstract shots, and a fantastic blend of the above to create her own style. We could not possibly be any happier. She communicated with us clearly and quickly every step of the way. Her second photographer was easy to work with and friendly as well. I wish I could give Megan more stars, because she honestly deserves it! And, when all was said and done, she personalized a slideshow for us so that we could see our photos arranged to music. I recommend her very highly!

Megan is so much fun, put us completely at ease, and captured the most beautiful photos for our engagement, pregnancy, and wedding! She was so fun to have while getting ready in the morning but then once the wedding started she was a complete phantom and got the best photos without us even noticing! -

Megan was originally a search in Google when I had other photography services done. I am so glad I chose her as she wasn’t a question in my mind when picking a wedding photographer. Not only is she fun, professional and just an awesome human, but she captured our day in ways I didn’t think were possible. Her and Adam her husband were a joy to work with and you will not be disappointed!! -

Bright and Beautiful
Megan brought such positivity and excitement to our wedding day, she truly loved being a part of the day and that shows in her photos. It down poured our entire day, she did everything she could to ensure we got all the photos we wanted. The final images we received...you can't even tell it was raining, it's amazing! We got our photos quickly and are absolutely in love with them. -
