BOOK HER! Megan is very talented. She was patient and kind to everyone in my very crowded bridal suite. Megan was extremely organized, she sent me a list of do’s and dont’s for skin care. She even sent me a detailed timeline for my bridal party which helped keep things on track. One thing I loved was how responsive she is. She helped keep my day as stress free as possible! -

I am so happy that I was able to book Megan as my makeup artist, she is extremely talented and knows what she is doing! All of my bridesmaids were nervous getting their make up done professionally for the first time, especially the ones that hardly wear makeup but Megan did a great job making them each feel comfortable and made sure she captured exactly what they wanted. We all felt so beautiful on my special day. I highly recommend booking Megan Berven for your event!

I was directed to Megan Berven by a family friend after many frustrating weeks trying to weed through the hundreds of makeup artists out there. I was having a hard time finding a makeup artist who could accentuate my unique features and make me look like the best version of ME, not an unattainable "barbie" version of myself.
I fell in love with Megan's work immediately. Her portfolio is filled with diversity, from soft light natural looks to dark vampy full glam looks, but each and every makeup look captured and amplified the beauty of her individual client.
I was nervous to reach out to her because I had an exact makeup look by Emma Chen that I wanted to recreate for my wedding day. Instead of being unreceptive to recreating a look, Megan whole heartedly threw herself into watching tutorials and memorizing the routine in order to recreate it for me. Additionally, she made me feel at ease and filled with confidence during application, despite my facial sensitivity which can make it incredibly difficult to apply makeup to my eyes. She was extremely adaptable and creative in coming up with solutions to my problem, and very amenable to any changes I wanted to make. She was always completely open to my thoughts, respectful in her expertise, and I always felt like her greatest priority was making sure my dream look became a reality.
During my time working with Megan she showed herself to be a true and talented artist, a compassionate and selfless professional, an expert communicator and business women, and an invaluable resource. Megan made this entire process a breeze and delivered results at the highest level while dodging every wedding obstacle with ease. I would recommend no other makeup artist for your big day.
Megan also recommended my Hair Stylist, Sam Palmer. They often work alongside each other and I highly recommend booking them together, especially if you have multiple clients and limited time, as they operated in perfect unison and with familiarity that only comes with experience together. -

Amazing Makup Artist
We hired Megan to do our wedding in September 2020 and she was AMAZING. She did my makeup, my mothers, and several of my bridesmaids and we all loved her. She catered to everybody's wants, needs, and to their level of comfort with makeup. I hardly ever wear makeup and am not super comfortable in it but I wanted to look really good for my wedding and in photos. Megan really listened to all of my concerns about wanting a more natural look and she did an amazing job. I felt beautiful, confident, comfortable, and it turned out amazing in the photos. She also left me with a touch up kit that was catered to my skin type so I could look my best all night long. Some of my bridesmaids wanted a more glam look and they looked amazing as well. Definitely not overdone, it was just right for each one of us. Highly recommend 11/10. -

I'd give six stars if I could!
So many of my vendors were wonderful, but there were a few who I was genuinely sad to be done working with after the wedding because I enjoyed them so much as people - Megan was a perfect example of that. Megan did my wedding makeup and my mom's MOTB makeup, and she was INCREDIBLE. She was responsive, professional, and did beautiful, beautiful work - I felt like the best version of myself on my wedding day, and so much of that was due to Megan. -

Megan was great to work with from booking, to the makeup trial, to the day of. She did my makeup as well as one of my bridesmaids. Megan came to my house the morning of the wedding and she did a wonderful job. She remembered to rematch my foundation because I had tanned since she did my makeup trial. It was a great decision to do the trial with Megan!, she was really open to critiques and opinions that I had! The day of my wedding when she finished my makeup, I knew that I made the right choice with her! I looked gorgeous on my wedding thanks to Megan, and I would definitely choose her again in the future and I will refer her to my people!!!!
If you are looking for someone to do your makeup in any occasion that you have in mind, give her the chance, you won’t be disappointed!!!

I couldn't have asked for a better trial for my wedding makeup! Megan responds to messages very quickly, and has a great personality. She's very easy to talk to and educates you on the products she's using and why. I'm not a big makeup person and Megan helped me achieve the perfect look for our wedding. I would highly recommend her to anyone that's needing any kind of make up service!! -

She was very helpful with communication virtually, but unfortunately we could not align on the look I wanted. I ended up taking the loss of the $90 of the $150 upfront after we did our trial run and opted to do my own makeup. She was very nice and came recommendes by both my photographer and vendor, we just weren't an apt mix.
