Thanks Meg!

Meg was fantastic for our wedding! She made our ceremony so special and provided wonderful music for our cocktail hour as well. My husband and I live in San Diego but we got married in Saint Joseph, Michigan. Meg worked with us despite the distance and even set up several video calls, playing portions of different songs over the call to help us choose our music. Meg has a creative vision and a broad music range. She was easy to work with, flexible, positive, professional, and a fantastic musician! She played everything from here comes the sun, to songs from Twilight, to songs from Love Actually, and even the Jurassic park theme song (which my husband requested and thoroughly enjoyed). I could not recommend Meg more!

Meg is the BEST! Perfect Wedding!

Having Meg play at our wedding and reception at Meijer Gardens Victorian Room was the best decision we could have made for an elegant and perfect wedding!! She was awesome about communicating during the planning stages, promptly showed up at the specified time, and played beautifully throughout the entire event. Completely professional and amazing! Our guests all commented what a nice atmosphere it was having a harpist provide the music and entertainment. I would highly recommend hiring Meg to anyone who wants something special and memorable for their event.

Best.Wedding.Decision

I attended a bridal event and heard Meg's harp throughout the entranceway. Her songs were so playful and elegant. I had never thought to have a harp at the wedding. I started talking to her at the event, and I knew from then I would have to hire her for our day! Meg had a meeting prewedding to discuss details and gave helpful tips. On the day of the wedding, Meg showed up early and was ready to play! Her accompaniment was so beautiful and fit the theme perfectly. Meg went above and beyond and even learned the Game of Thrones theme song. She was the easiest external vendor we worked with. Thanks Meg!!!

All I dreamed of ...

Sounds from a dream

Meg performed at my wedding perfectly. She assured me that the ceremony would be beautiful and I should relax and just take it all in. Everything about the ceremony was just as I envisioned. Meg helped me select the perfect songs for a beautiful classy wedding and her performance was outstanding. When we met after the ceremony she was so exuberant and genuinely happy for us. Meg Rodgers was amazing we got so many compliments!

I hired Meg about 9 months before my wedding. I thought it would be beautiful for a harpist to play during my ceremony and reception for my July 11th wedding. When reaching out to her, we set up a call and Meg sent me lots of different songs to listen to from her site. As the wedding got closer she also reached to me to pick different types of songs I would like to hear. She was also so sweet to come find me and my husband and say goodbye before she left on our wedding day. Thank you so much Meg, you are so talented!!

A touch of elegance

Meg performed at our wedding on Nov. 30 at Journeyman Distillery. We are so grateful that she performed at our wedding. First, her instrument is beautiful and really added a touch of elegance in our rustic venue. Second, the music set the tone for our ceremony. We wanted to hear the theme from The Goonies for our recessional song. Well, Meg went above and beyond to learn how to play it - just for us. We requested that song because we got engaged in Cannon Beach, Oregon - the location of the final scene in that movie. It was so meaningful to hear that song as we made our way through the room for the first time as husband and wife.

Meg played at our engagement in La Porte, Indiana on Pine Lake. She added so much to the atmosphere and we thoroughly enjoyed her being there. Not only was she a wonderful harpist and we enjoyed the background music, but Megan was extremely kind and willing to work with us. She helped keep the engagement a surprise and didn't complain about the 90 degree heat! Additionally, she was more than happy to take a picture of our whole group when we asked her to. I would recommend Megan for any event! She is very eloquent, kind, professtional and easy to work with. She will always be a part of our special day!

My husband and I used Meg as our harpist for our outdoor ceremony. She was so accommodating and helpful throughout the entire process. She truly wanted us to have the ceremony that we wanted and was very open to making any changes that we needed. She was also very easy to contact and is a great person overall. She made our ceremony special and her music is so beautiful. We still get compliments on her music! I would highly recommend using her for your upcoming event!

I met Meg at an open house for Blissful Barn and knew we HAD to have her when we heard her play the most beautiful rendition of Metallica and Guns N Roses on a harp! Along with her classical selections she spices the play list up with several modern songs. She came in, set up and played without ever needing direction from us (we spoke before hand and she did everything perfectly), which was a huge relief. I believe her beautiful harp melodies helped calm me on the big day. She was a consummate professional, a great value and added an element of sophistication and beauty to the wedding that set it apart from your average day. Please consider her for your next occasion.

Meg played at our ceremony last weekend at St. Agnes Church in Sawyer, MI. She played the harp and we also had a violinist. She is such a professional and her music is absolutely beautiful. I could sit and listen to her play for hours. So many of our guests said it was the most beautiful ceremony they had ever been to, and I would have to agree. I'm so thankful I found her and she was able to be such a huge part of my wedding. I would definitely recommend her.

When I started planning my wedding, I knew immediately that I wanted to get Meg to play the harp on our big day. I have seen her before at weddings when I would deliver flowers for a local florist. Meg is very professional and responds to emails really fast! Not only that, but she is super flexible. She will learn new music if you have special requests and she can suggest music if you aren't exactly sure what you want. The best part for us was that she played they processional to the speed of our walk and finished when we did. That saved us a lot of "walking practice"! Meg really made our wedding feel extra special. I would DEFINITELY recommend her!!

Meg was great! When my fiance and I first looked into what to do for ceremony music, we knew we wanted to keep it simply (maybe a harpist and an oboist)? After listening to her go over a few songs that could be used, we decided to just stick with only her as a harpist. She was easy to work with, clearly knew what she was doing (we certainly didn't!), and helped find songs that would fit our personalities and theme (my main entry song as the bride was to "The Avenger's" theme). Meg played a combination of traditional classic songs and more modern eclectic video game and movie theme songs for our big day. We were both very pleased, and her performance was almost stunning in the sonorous sound quality (no microphone needed for sure). She was also good with coordinating logistics with our pastor and the country club event director.

Thanks Meg, for making our wedding almost fairy-tale like with music. It was more than we asked for!

Meg is communicative--responds quickly to emails and requests for information. She also was quite flexible and patient when I had to change the performance date. The music she chose was perfect for the atmosphere and space; she had listened carefully to my description of the event and the acoustics of the room.
Every person at the event was thrilled she was there and all have asked to have her perform at upcoming events. I highly recommend Meg Rodgers for any event for which you may be considering live music.

I found it very easy to work with Meg on my daughters wedding. With all of the other details to worry about, I knew I would not have to worry about her professionalism and flexibility working with our group. She made picking out the music very easy and all I had to do was use a couple of the men from the wedding group to carry the harp for her to and from the beach area. The music was outstanding and provided the perfect touch to our beach wedding.

Meg was absolutely fantastic. My wife and I met with her before our wedding and she played for us and offered beautiful selections for our special day. Meg is a very dear family friend, and she came all the way from Michigan to Maryland to play the harp in our wedding. One of my regrets about being a bride is that I missed out on all of the pre-ceremony music, but everything that I did hear was absolutely beautiful. Meg listened to what I wanted, made intelligent suggestions based on her experience, but ultimately deferred to me. She knows how to work with the situation, adjust her timing according to the wedding party, and plays harp beautifully.

I have known Meg since before she began playing harp, and she truly is a talented and experienced musician. She also knows and understands the nature of weddings. She was a calming person to have at a time when I was stressed out. She knows how to handle all kinds of different scenarios and situations (for example - she gave us advice on how to store our flowers overnight, and she had a great idea about taking some photographs of us through her harp), and even though she was there as a family friend and guest, she was absolutely professional about doing her job.

She did an amazing job playing the harp at our wedding. We could not have asked for anything more! Would highly recommend!!

Meg Rodgers beautiful harp music made my daughter's August wedding magical. She arrived early, played beautiful music while the guests were seated, and then played our selected pieces as the wedding party walked down the aisle. Ms. Rodgers also went way beyond the call of duty at our reception. A terrible thunderstorm was rolling across Lake Michigan and we had to scramble to move our tables and guests to a dry location. While the catering staff and many of our guests worked to secure everything Meg continued to play and keep the wedding mood festive and joyous. Only when the storm was at our doorstep did she pack up her harp and move to a dry location. She was wonderful!

Martin's Super Markets has used Med Rodgers on numerous occasions during grand opening celebrations at our new store locations. She is always easy to reach, easy to work with, professional and a wonderful musician! Our customers look forward to her appearances! They partcularly enjoy the wide range of song selections she is able to play on the harp -- from classical to more recent, popular tunes. I highly reccomend her!

We could not have chosen a better harpist for our ceremony! Meg was superb. She was flexible and took time to meet with us to help us choose our songs for the ceremony. Her talent is unbelievable! She plays absolutely beautiful music!!! I would definately recommend her!

Absolutely beautiful! Meg was very easy to work with and the communication leading up to the event was great. It was an outdoor wedding on the lake shore and an indoor reception. I was worried about the harp being heard due to a slight breeze but it was never a problem. Many people commented on how magnificantly she played. Thanks Meg!

Meg was great! Truly made our outdoor wedding special. The music was just what we wanted for our ceremony. Many people in attendance commented on how elegant it was to have a Harpist playing for our ceremony.

Meg Rodgers did a wonderful job with the music for our ceremony.

She was extremely easy to work with and helped me plan the music for the entire ceremony. Her harp sounded amazing and looked great too!

Meg goes above and beyond.....

Meg was easy to work with! She made great suggestions for music choices! We were having troubles finding a place to hold our venue during COVID and Meg sent us videos of places that we could possibly hold it!! She did this out of goodness of her heart! She is an outstanding musician that we would highly recommend!

Meg performed at my wedding at the Veranda at the Whitcomb on July 3rd, 2015. She worked with me very well in coming up with the perfect music selection. I had a Beauty and the Beast theme wedding so she came up with great ideas for processional and recessional music to go along with the music. She had already been to my venue many times so she knew exactly what she needed to do ahead of time and I was very stress free when it came to Meg. Left a 4/5 for responsiveness because a couple times I felt like I was waiting a while for an email response, but I am an impatient person and she is super busy. The month leading up to the wedding she was VERY responsive. We also discussed what I wanted via a phone call and she was very easy to get on the same page with. Overall, a very high recommendation!

Meg is a great performer. My father-in-law came up to my after the ceremony to tell me he asked her to play longer because it was so beautiful.

She is professional, responsive, easy to work with.
