Amazing hai stylist
I had mecca as my hairstylist for my wedding 9/1/24. She was amazing. She easily accommodated a hair trial at her salon and did a great job. I then used her a second time for my bridal shower. She gave me a beautiful up do- I got so many compliments. And then for my wedding - she arrived to my house on time (bright and early) applied 2 packs of extensions and gave me the most beautiful Hollywood waves that lasted all night. I was obsessed!! On top of that she is super sweet and was the most affordable hair stylist I found and I reached out to more than 10. I would hire Mecca over and over again. TYSM!!!!

I was so lucky to have found Mecca since she’s located in NJ, I live in the NYC, but got married upstate NY! My MUA referred her since they worked on a lot of weddings together.
We did a two hair trails and end to with a different style on the day of my wedding. This showcase how talented Mecca is. She was flexible and adaptable. She gave me her honest opinions without trying to sway me into something else. She was able to easy to work with and very punctual. Mecca was able to have me, 2 moms, 3 sisters, and 2 nieces on time with everyone having their own hairstyles.
And to add on to all of that, her prices were so reasonable! I would definitely recommend her for your wedding day, I’m looking forward having her as my stylist for my other hair appointments!

Having my hair done with Mecca was one of the best decisions I made for my wedding. My mother and I both had our hair done by her and it lasted the whole day and looked beautiful! I was able to do a hair trial with her about 2 months before the wedding. She was able to test out a few different hair styles and was very patient. Aside from Mecca being talented, another great thing is that she is considerate. When so many hairstylists exploit the fact the the event is a wedding and overcharge, she does not! My mother and I found the prices extremely reasonable and her work was beautiful and lasted us the whole day. Thank you Mecca ❤️

Mecca did an amazing job with my hair and my bridesmaids hair. When I went for my trial she tried a different side hair part to give my hair more volume and it came out amazing. The extensions definitely helped as well, as I have thin hair. Mecca was very gentle and she understood exactly what I wanted. My hair lasted from 6 am on my wedding day until 2 am and it barely moved.

My wedding day was the first time I had curls (professional or not), that actually stayed all night long. I was so on the fence on whether to do my hair up or half up/half down with curls and I definatley made the right decision doing it down. Mecca is amazing!
Mecca is AMAZING. She did my hair for my friends wedding and I absolutely loved it. She is very professional and whatever picture you show her she can recreate. I also used her for my engagement party and I got so many compliments. She is also so sweet! For my wedding she kept me calm and gave me a lot of tips with the photographer, makeup artist and etc. Not only does she make your hair look beautiful she is quick! She can do several bridesmaids and bride done right on time. For my wedding we were actually ahead of schedule! Now for any event I will have in the future, I will always use her! I highly recommend her, you will not be disappointed.

Excellent. Yes, I would recommend Mecca to everyone. She was very professional, I didn't feel pressured or stressed the whole time, her skills are beyond fantastic and everything went smoothly. We had 8 women getting hair done, starting at 6am, and ended up finishing early with plenty of time to get final things done. I had a family member who was a little picky and Mecca handled it very well, which was much appreciated. Our hair looked beautiful and stayed in place for the whole day.

Holy COW- Mecca Did it (and it stayed all night)
Mecca was INCREDIBLE to work with, super responsive, very professional, quick, and attentive. She arrived on time and ready to go (even at 6am) completed 8 girls (including myself) all before we transferred to the wedding. She kept a list so that I was able to double check it before she left, and kept me smiling through the whole day. The girls were so happy with their hair, and I can't wait to get the "official" pictures back to share them. I would 100% book her if I were you! 10/10!

Mecca was AMAZING. I had to change my hair trial last minute due to changes at work. I simply emailed her and her response came back within 10 min with all the dates and times she was available for me. At the trial she was open and honest about what she thought looked good. Throughout the planning with my photographer changing times she was extremely adaptable to anything I needed. Fast forward to the day of, she got to the suite before I did! Extremely prompt. Styles on 3 bridesmaids, maid of honor and a bride. ALL came out amazing, as the bride I was worried it wouldn’t last all night- well I had to worry about taking it out the next morning because it lasted! She is absolutely amazing and a must for your wedding. #meccadidit

I showed Mecca a hair look that I wanted for my wedding and she executed.

Mecca has been doing my hair now for about 16 years and there is NO ONE I trust with my hair other than her. She truly has magical hands so when it came to bridal hair it was a no brainer as to who I would be using. Mecca did my hair as well as some of my bridal party and everyone looked absolutely stunning. Mecca did an amazing job for my wedding. I met her through another vendor and hired her on the day of my first and only hair trial. On the day of my weddding she was on time and got all 12 of my girls ready by 1 pm. She did everyone’s hair as requested and everyone s hair lasted all night. I would hire her again if needed in a heartbeat, she is the best and I can see her passion through her work. I highly recommend her to all future brides 👰🏻 and/or anyone looking for a hairdresser for a special event you will not be disappointed.

I have always had Mecca do my hair because to be honest shes the best around! So, when it came to my big day, my wedding, of course I knew she would do my hair beautifully! Not only did I LOVE my hair but I also brought my maid of honor and bridesmaids to her for their do’s and she made sure we all looked beautiful! She even had me come in a week in advance to do a trial to be sure I loved it prior to the wedding. Of course I loved it! I send all of my family and friends to Mecca! I have been doing my hair with Mecca for several years, there was no doubt when I got engaged that I would want anyone else doing my hair. Mecca has a true gift, she knows what you like and wants to make you happy, may I mention she not only did my hair but she managed to do 10 other girls as well in this super tight timeframe. I’ve been a loyal customer to Mecca for over 10 years, about 6 years ago, she was the stylist for my wedding. I felt completely comfortable asking her numerous questions about trying to make my hair style for my wedding look like me but thicker, she added extensions to my hair and also did a trial run which was very helpful. Words cannot express how perfect Mecca made the morning of my wedding. I have been a long time client of Mecca, and found her being a part of my wedding day so important that I texted her 5 minutes after I booked my wedding to book her too!! Mecca had no small task, I had a large bridal party of 12 girls, not including me or the Moms, with various hair types and styles. Mecca made that morning as smooth as possible. She helped me organize a timeline of that day, and eased my anxiety about being done prior to photographers coming. The day of my wedding, Mecca surpassed all expectations I had. She arrived, set up and was ready to go! Her timeline worked perfect, all my girls were comfortable, happy and had more than enough time to get dressed prior to photographers coming. The most important thing, my entire bridal party looked and felt absolutely beautiful!! I could not have been happier with the way my bridal hair was. It was absolutely gorgeous, and Mecca placed my headpiece perfectly. She put my veil on and showed my family how to take it out as well. Everyone’s hair lasted the entire day and night, well over 12 hours. Wedding guests commented to me how absolutely gorgeous everyone’s hair looked. The morning of your wedding can be stressful, but Mecca made it relaxing, efficient and follows the timeline closely. If you’re looking for a professional experience, and someone to make your bridal party look and feel beautiful, look no further than Mecca. I truly believe she was a huge component in making my wedding day run as stress free and smoothly as it did. I would recommend her to anyone!!

I drive an hour + for my hair appts just to have Mecca take care of my color, cut and style. Her talent is amazing and rare. My wedding day would not have been completely successful if it weren’t for Mecca and her attention to detail and style.

Mecca and her team are extremely professional. I would recommend her for any given occasion. I was very spectical at first because I had no test or pre-trials done prior to the day of. I showed them pictures of what I wanted and in the end it turned out a million times better than what I had shown. I was in love with the ending results. I was so in love I made appointments for the future with her to get my hair colored.

My wedding was July 15th and Mecca was amazing I would recommend her to anyone she did exactly was we all wanted and my whole bridal party was happy!!

I Had the honor to have Mecca do my hair as well as my moms and sister on my wedding day. Mecca is amazing! Everything I wanted to do to my hair, Mecca did effortlessly and beautifully! She is so professional, available to answer any questions, listens to your concerns, and has such a true talent for hair. She is highly skilled and you can tell doing hair is her PASSION. Thanks to her I loved how everything came out. Highly recommend using Mecca as she will make you look beautiful and make your day even more special !

She does amazing hair. Always on time. Does everyone hair in timely manner. I hire her to do all my 7 bridesmaids hair they came out amazing. I love love love her work. The girls hair still loook great the next day.

Mecca was the complete package for my bridal party of 10! She was on time, precise, and professional... she even fixed my flower girl's hair who got her hair done before arriving! Mecca made my vision into a reality and truly made all my photos perfect with my updo! I always recommend Mecca with confidence and continue to go to her for all my styling needs!! I am super picky... and Mecca made sure that my hair was the least of my worries on my wedding day.

She has skills!
I searched for a while and Mecca hit the nail on the head. Curls lasted, they were smooth, every hair in place, PERFECTION! She was a good value. She was great with the hair accessories. Great with the flower girl! Very professional, timely, neat. I’m so glad I found her.

Great Choice
Mecca did a great job styling my hair and all of bridesmaids as well. We all looked flawless throughout the night. She was able to keep us all on schedule which meant that the wedding day started off smoothly. I felt like her prices were reasonable especially for the bridesmaids which was important for me. I had a successful trial run with Mecca a few months before the wedding so I was confident that she would do a great job, but I was blown away with the final product and how she arranged my hair clips to perfectly frame the updo.

Was just ok
It’s been a bit since I had my hair done for my wedding however I came across this site and felt the need to add my review. During my trial it felt very rushed and she didn’t seem into it. The reason I went through with booking was because she worked with my makeup artist. The day of the wedding she had myself, 6 girls and my mother. We all looked wonderful but she was very rude to my mother because her hair was not completely dried. And I understand it needed to be however I work in a cosmetology industry as well I though something wasn’t don’t according to plan I would never treat a client who was spending that much money that way. Only to realize she ran out the door to head into work at the salon which was probably why she was rushing. However this is a wedding, if you are going to go to work after it space out extra time for if things go wrong. I felt like I had to says my hair was perfect so she can leave though I wanted things touched up. I see all these other great reviews and I’m glad she wasn’t like this to everyone else, but my experience was less then wonderful for my wedding day
