Photos were something my husband and I were so nervous about because we don’t love being the center of attention of taking lots of pictures but they made us feel so comfortable and we ended up just laughing the whole day! Meagan and Joe were absolutely amazing, especially after our engagement photos got ruined by another photography in Texas. She put us at ease the entire day. Both my husband and I are not photogenic and never take photos, but we absolutely had a blast and the photos are amazing. We will definitely keep her on our list to go back and take photos with over the years. -

Meagan & Joe are seriously the sweetest people you’ll ever meet!! Not to mention the best photographers!😍 we hired them for our wedding this past weekend and have nothing but amazing things to say & everyone that attended the wedding would agree. Not only did they take gorgeous photos and make us feel comfortable, but Meagan was constantly checking in on me and making sure I was doing okay. I fell in love with their work the second I found them online, but now that I’ve had the chance to actually work with them and get to know them, I’ll never use another photographer. My husband and I got married in February and cannot speak more highly of Meagan Gaines Photography! For as long as I can remember, investing in a really great wedding photographer was something I wanted more than anything else on our wedding day. Meagan and Joe were so incredibly wonderful in creating the best photography experience. They catered everything they did to our requests to make sure we got all the shots we were looking for. We had such a special time with them and we felt like they were our friends and we weren’t “just another couple” to them. They kept us laughing and completely comfortable in front of the camera. We decided to do things differently for our wedding- no bridal party, and a first look where we set aside time to take pictures just the two of us before we walked down the aisle. This was probably our favorite moment of the wedding day. It was so intimate and special, saying our vows just the two of us. And we didn’t feel rushed by time. It was almost like time stood still and Meagan and Joe captured all those amazing moments for us. One of the biggest obstacles on our wedding day was the rain…. but Meagan and Joe totally ran with it, almost like we had planned for it to downpour. They embraced the umbrellas and transformed our pictures. They even made sure we got some beach pictures without getting my dress dirty before I walked down the aisle. Their style and lighting and creative energy was so exciting and refreshing. And Meagan communicated quickly with us and had our photos back to us so fast! We love them all and it’s so hard to pick favorites! Honestly, Meagan and Joe were the best team. Couldn’t be more thankful for them. They had a smile on their faces the entire day and we would work with them again in a heartbeat. -

I love her!
Meagan and Joe did our wedding and they are absolutely amazing! They had plenty of direction, they were professional, they worked really well with our other vendors and assisted them, Meagan helped me with things that probably aren’t even in her job description. She does her homework, she dedicates so much of her time to perfect her work and it shows! She was flexible when I had to change my date due to Covid, and when I texted her last minute for engagement photos after my plans fell through! They both went above and beyond to make my day go off without a hitch in the pictures (even when it started raining) they captured all the magic of our day in their photos! These 2 are an amazing duo and I will have her do all of my pictures EVER! -

Meagan and Joe were phenomenal. Honestly I could not have asked for anything more. They were great from the interviewing process, engagement photos, and the wedding. Everyone at our wedding kept asking if they were good friends of ours because they were so friendly, outgoing, and respectful to each and every one of our family members and friends. They made us feel so comfortable when we aren’t big fans of taking photos. They gave us great advice and it played out beautifully. Meagan and Joe are worth your time and money because they made our wedding so memorable. Thank you for everything. I’ll recommend you to everyone. Can’t wait until we get to do more shoots with you one day :) -

I cannot say enough nice things about Meagan and Joe. They spent the weekend shooting our wedding festivities, and were beyond easy to work with. Meagan has a vision, and she wasn’t afraid to push us a little outside our comfort zone to get that PERFECT shot, which now I could not be more thankful for!! These people are truly salt of the earth, genuine, kind souls who are willing to do it all to make sure every sweet moment is captured. We adore them and cannot wait to see our gallery! Do yourself a favor and hire them!! -

Magical wedding photos!
I am SOO happy that we booked Meagan and Joe for our wedding and engagement photos. The photos are better than I could have ever imagined. We were not used to being in the photo spotlight but Meagan knew exactly what to say to make us feel comfortable! They are so easy going, which was amazing since weddings can be stressful. Our wedding was postponed due to COVID and it was super easy rescheduling with Meagan. We had to shrink the wedding down to a backyard wedding and the photos are so magical. We have gotten so many compliments on the photos, and everyone who was at our wedding told us how amazing the photographers were :) we HIGHLY recommend Meagan and Joe, and we will definitely use them in the future! -

After my husband and I became engaged we began the process of searching for a photographer as this was our most important vendor! After I showed him Meagan's work he was determined we book her immediately! We did our engagement shoot, first look photoshoot, and wedding photos with Megan and her husband Joe and have never had so much fun! They were amazing dealing with our lack of modeling skills and made us feel completely at ease! When COVID hit and we made the difficult decision to downsize our wedding into a safer affair, Meagan could not have been more kind and supportive. I truly believe the energy of your vendors is so important and Meagan and Joe fit in so perfectly with our wedding guests! Their work is absolutely breathtaking and we are so thankful to have these photos to treasure forever! If you are looking for a fun, easygoing experience ending with stunning photos look no further :) -

Meagan and her husband Joe were a dream to work with! They were punctual, professional, sweet, kind, and fun! Meagan remembered all the photos from my shot list and made sure to get them. We loved having them capture our special day at the Manor. Meagan also did a bridal boudoir shoot for me at my hotel room which turned out breathtaking. She even helped me steam my outfits as I rushed to get ready. -

My husband and I were married on Pi Day, 3/14/2020 at the Jacksonville zoo. Because the zoo only allows set up once they close, we didn't want to loose time and requested to purchase a larger amount of time, but split it between our wedding day and (pre)wedding picture of our first look and other wedding shots. Because Meagan and her husband were so flexible and accommodating this made our wedding day magical and having our wedding pictures done, much stressful. She and her husband were so easy to work with. Their demeanor is nothing less then kind and their suggestions on how to look, stand and pose made us look like we came straight out of a magazine. She made us look and feel fantastic! I would recommend them in a heart beat.

I feel truly blessed to have met and worked with Meagan and Joe for our engagement and wedding photos. This couple is an outstanding photography duo and made everything so easy. My husband and I definitely felt awkward in the beginning because we don't take photos, but Meagan and Joe helped us relax and gave suggestions for poses. The passion these two have for their work truly shines through in their final product. I have received so many compliments on my photos because of the angles, lighting, and vision in each photograph. You will NOT be disappointed with choosing these amazing people to photograph your big day! -

I got the pleasure of working with Meagan and her husband. She was the sweetest women when we met for our consultation about our plans and views on the wedding. She was quick to respond no matter what hours I contacted her and she made everything so easy. Whether you know how to pose for pictures or not, she is there to help you. She will guide you every step of the way and make you feel super comfortable. MY PICTURES CAME OUT GORGEOUS!! Her and her husband are so kind that you feel like they are your good friends joining you on your wedding day. We even got a picture with them before the left! If you are reading this review to see if you want to hire her....DO IT. She does not disappoint and I couldn't of been happier with my decision. Love you Meagan!!!! -

Absolutely amazing!
Meagan and Joe! They are incredible, sweet, kind, and talented! They took the time to capture our love on our wedding day, all of our traditions, and truly captured our perfect day. Our pictures turned out PHENOMENAL! Meagan was always a text or call away, wanted to make sure all of our favorite moments were captured, and edited our photos really quickly! We were able to view all of our photos digitally and download them all from there. Meagan and Joe make an amazing team! They were able to split up to capture our day from different views and truly got some remarkable shots. -

We searched and searched for a photographer we liked as that was one of the most important things for us. We found Meagan and absolutely loved her work and can’t wait to see how our pictures turn out! She and her husband (her second shooter) keep a cool head (even with an oncoming thunderstorm) never rush anyone, really want to make your vision a reality, help to pose you (neither of us know how to take good pictures so that was a huge help), and were both very kind and helpful, captured the importance of our day, and I can’t wait to see what comes of it! -

Absolutely love her!
I was seconds away from signing a contract with another photographer and accidentally stumbled upon Meagan Gaines Photography while looking for other types of wedding vendors. After seeing her work and reading her bio, I just couldn't go through with the other photographer (who has excellent work too!) Meagan is absolutely phenomenal. She is so beyond sweet, professional, and kind! My husband and I are not picture taking people but she made us feel like naturals! She was so patient with me and my family and I just recently received my entire album from my wedding (much quicker than I anticipated). I'm in awe about how perfect it is. Not in the "she made everyone look perfect" type of way, but she captured everything so perfectly it's beautiful and real. I was so worried about hiring a photographer and receiving over-edited photos - she captures the moment so perfectly I cannot even describe it! You'll just have to trust me and see for yourself! Amazing amazing amazing
We used Meagan for our engagement photos and they are amazing. They have exceeded all our expectations. Meagan is so sweet and kind and knows exactly what she is doing. My fiancé and I were clueless of how to pose and she knew exactly what to do. She made us feel so comfortable and we just had so much fun. If my wedding was in Jacksonville I totally would use her for the wedding. I will forever recommend her. -

Absolutely Amazing!!
Meagan and Joe were so wonderful! My brother and sister-in-law used them for their engagement and wedding photos and, without hesitation, I snatched them up for my engagement and wedding photos. They really do have a passion and love for their craft and you can see it in the photos. They really did capture every moment that was important to me! They were so professional even when my in-laws were being difficult and they really do work around your wants and needs. I would recommend them - and have recommended them - to everyone who has any type of photo needs. I will certainly be utilizing their talents in years to come, from holiday photos to family photos and everything in between!! -

My dream photos come to life!
Meagan is both an extremely talented photographer and all-around amazing person. She's probably the sweetest person I have ever met, and between Meagan and her husband we felt at total peace and in good hands with our wedding photos. We had so much fun shooting with her that our entire photo shoot felt natural for us and for our families. She brought the joy and love from our wedding to life in her pictures, and I feel so lucky to have had her there to capture our day. She sent us preview photos within three days and our full selection of over 1,200 photos within two weeks and they are MAGICAL! Meagan listens to your needs, wants, and expectations and gives the perfect wedding shoot for you. We are already thinking of excuses to hire her again. Anniversary party, maybe? -
