Consistently Went Above & Beyond!

Patti was the absolute best to work with! She came recommended to us by our florist and we are so glad we decided to trust that recommendation and not look anywhere else. The two worked so well together it almost felt like we had two additional wedding planners! Knowing less than nothing about lighting or draping, it became apparent immediately that we could trust Patti to give us guidance and let her take the reigns. She went above and beyond for every step along the way and made sure that there was no added stress to us, especially as the event got closer. She would take the initiative to reach out to our other vendors and coordinator when she needed answers to questions instead of making us try to figure it out ourselves. I would highly recommend Patti and her team for any event.

Wedding Decoration Dreams Came True!!!

When MDM offers you up-lighting, you say yes!!! MDM decorated our ceiling light, provided up-lighting for the entire venue space, and a full wall of floor to ceiling drapes with twinkle lights behind it. All together, MDM transformed our venue space into a beautiful wedding experience.

Best DJ Ever!

Hiring MDM was one of the very best decisions we made in our whole wedding process! DJ David absolutely crushed it. He's an artist at keeping the dance floor full and energized. He listened well on our planning call and gave us everything we could have possibly wanted! I literally cannot imagine having a better wedding DJ. And this was echoed by SO MANY of our guests - *everyone* was talking about how good he was, many saying he was easily the best wedding DJ they had witnessed. So needless to say we're just so thankful we went with MDM. They were so easy to work with and matched us with our perfect DJ. I'd recommend them to anyone!

MDM Brought our wedding to life!!

You will not regret working with Patti, Mike and the MDM team. I am another wedding professional and If I can suggest one thing, it is to trust them and they will make your wedding come to LIFE. Lighting is so incredibly important to making your floral pop, your dance floor come alive, your entrances grand and so much more. Wedding Lighting

We used MDM for lighting at our wedding. The staff went above and beyond making our wedding reception look magical! We requested for clusters of rattan hanging lanterns to set over the dance floor. We received a lot of compliments from our guests with our lighting. We would highly recommend MDM for anyone looking for a stunning lighting treatment for a special occasion. Thank you again!

Amazing Experience!

Disco Ball Installation Made the Dance Floor!

I saw a disco ball installation MDM did for a wedding on Instagram and asked our planner about it. MDM was so communicative and helpful, asking about our budget and coming up with different ideas and options based around that - even mocking up different designs to help us visualize. It was all so helpful in the planning process and then on the actual day, it was even better than I imagined. SO many of our guests posted pictures of the installation and raved about it! It made our dance floor special and beautiful and it added a layer of fun to the night!

Working with MDM was the easiest decision for our multi-day wedding!! Highly recommend for you next event!

Working with the MDM team from the start was fantastic! They had done a ton of events at the Adler so they shared a lot of pictures and ideas to help us visualize what the room would look like. I ended up sending a picture of lighting from Pinterest and they were able to match the lighting! The photobooth was wonderful and such a hit at the wedding! They put all the photos in a book for us and we loved looking at these pictures the next day. It is something we will have forever and we can look back and remember the day. I loved working with the MDM team and could not recommend them enough for your next event!

Exceptional vendor

From the beginning our service with MDM was incredible. Patti is so personal and made us feel taken care of.

Our DJ David had an extensive call with us before the wedding to discuss his DJ style and really go through what we want/didn’t want. We had a polish-American wedding so we wanted to honor all walks of life. David did just that! The blend of music was perfect. He really read the room when he noticed people may have not been dancing and kept the party going all night. We had a few last minute changes to the order of events, people being introduced, etc the day of the wedding. David was able to adapt quickly, took the time to ensure names were being pronounced correctly, and didn’t swear anything! It is so important to connect with your vendors on a personal level. We highly recommend choosing MDM entertainment for your DJ/emcee/lighting needs!

Marquee lettering of our dreams!

Beautiful Lighting, Great Recommendations

We worked with Patti at MDM for lighting and some furniture rentals to create a sitting area. We knew we wanted string lights for our tented reception, but were otherwise completely clueless about what we needed or wanted. We explained the style and vibe we were going for and Patti was great and walked us through all of the options of what we could do. She also made recommendations along the way without being pushy. We ended up moving forward with string/cafe lights, uplighting and a dance floor pattern, a couch and a color wash in the seating area. She also worked really well with our florist that was adding greenery to the string lights - coordinating and leaving ladders behind for set up. Beyond being great to work with, their work was fantastic! We kept remarking that it didn’t even look like a tent because the lighting was so wonderful. I highly recommend working with Patti and her team at MDM!

Don't hesitate - hire them before you are too late!

I cannot even begin to tell you how pleased I was with the expertise, communication, cooperation, advice, and overall service I received from MDM – Patti especially! I had a unique situation that I needed to show a professionally made video (from me, the Best-man) as a total surprise to the entire wedding party as well as the nearly 200 guests.

Right from my first contact, Patti listened to my idea and need and completely understood my situation. She took it over from there. She and her team were very professional and cooperative.

The wedding was a huge success, and I was very proud of being able to be a part of it! And Patti helped me make that happen!!

I would recommend MDM Entertainment. They are a “Class Act” and know how to work with you and make you shine!

We have three more children to get married maybe someday, and I will keep MDM in the back of my mind for any/all entertainment needs.

Fantastic DJ and Livestream!

We absolutely recommend MDM! We used their DJ and livestream services for our wedding, We felt like our DJ, Andrew, really took the time to listen to us and understand the vibe we were go for at our wedding. He incorporated our must-play songs and added in songs that we wouldn't have even thought of but totally fit in with the vibe of the dance floor. Our dance floor was full all night, which is exactly what we wanted! We also got a number of compliments on the quality of the livestream video and website. So happy we decided to go ahead with the livestream to keep our in person wedding small during COVID.

An Enlightening Experience

MDM and Patti went so far above and beyond to make our vision a reality at our wedding event. Patti was a true professional and so easy to work with. Wonderful experience, loved the lighting

Patti and MDM were great to work with for our wedding reception! We had a brief introductory call about 6 months before our wedding to discuss our vision, budget and ideas. She quickly delivered a quote and we worked through the changes. We connected the week or so before our wedding to review everything. When we arrived to our reception everything was set up perfectly (we got lights over the dance floor and up lighting). It was cleaned up by their team after our reception. Winter wedding in February

We recently celebrated our wedding a few weeks ago and my husband and I cannot say enough good things about MDM Entertainment. We chose them for our DJ services and we also opted to do a photo booth through them and it was truly one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Our DJ Robert was INCREDIBLE. On the scheduled call before the wedding (where you will go over any details, questions, requests, etc.) we informed him that having awesome music and people dancing the whole night was so important to us and boy did he deliver!! People were dancing from start to finish and we never wanted it to end. He is a true artist and our guests were so impressed with his services. He truly added such an important touch & expertise to our wedding-something we will never forget! The photo booth was so much fun and our guests took advantage of it the whole night-such an awesome addition! Patti, David, Robert, and the entire MDM Entertainment team were so easy to work with! MDM is Incredible. Saved the day.

MDM was my choice for DJ and lighting at my wedding. I had a wedding at my parents' home which comes with a lot of unique challenges. We had wedding planners but should not have even bothered because MDM guided us every step of the way. I received string lights through MDM for my tent and did not love the look of the overall setup when they were done. This was two days before the wedding! After calling them and explaining the string lights setup did not look great, they literally sent the owner out with a crew the very next day and did a completely stellar job. They worked all day and the lights were perfect. I just don't think you find that kind of customer service very often anymore and I was blown away. Everything was perfect and the DJ literally saved the day. Robert went way beyond expectations, that man can MC and DJ like you would not believe.

If you feel like you want the best of the best, MDM is the obvious choice.

Simply amazing

Patti and the team at MDM were absolutely incredible! They were so easy to work with and clearly presented all the different options of lighting and drapes and made honest recommendations without any sort of pressure of doing any upgrades. Patti met with us, promptly answered email questions, and joined us for a final walk through to ensure everything would be just what we want. I was absolutely blown away when I saw the draping in the room and the lights and light changes made the evening so fun!! I had no idea what a difference lights could make on a party, but I'm so glad I used MDM because it really made our reception incredibly fun for all the guests!

MDM was a pleasure to work with from the very beginning. The team is so organized and really covered all the bases. We had a few unique requests for our wedding reception and MDM went above and beyond. They did beautiful up-lighting, provided a projector to show our wedding video and first dance music video, and really accommodated all of our preferences. Deejay David O is super knowledgeable of all the music trends we wanted and really read the crowd perfectly. The dance floor was full the entire night. He was able to switch back and forth from English to Spanish to accommodate our bilingual event. We really appreciate his talent and his flexibility to work with some of our extra special guests. Worth every Penny!

Loved MDM and our DJ Kim! We had an outdoor wedding ceremony, in which Kim played all of our pre-ceremony music while guests arrived (we picked our own and she played it all for us) - she did a full set up at the outdoor ceremony, and then she and her assistant moved everything over to our reception venue, which was indoor and outdoor! Wow...what a great DJ - she did a great job announcing us as we arrived on boat, and then for the party, she kept everybody happy and on the dance floor all night long....which is exactly what we wanted. She was really great and we are very happy with how the night went! We were even running really late getting to the actual ceremony, but she was able to work the "schedule" so that we still got in all of our "events", special dances, cake cutting, garter toss, etc....and still had lots of great floor time...thanks Kim and Andrew for our great wedding night! We also did 10 purple uplights for the evening (which Kim and Andrew also set up.....beautiful!)

The team at MDM was awesome! We met with David Oliveres at our venue, Morgan Manufacturing and shared with him our vision for the wedding. As a result David and his team developed a lighting plan and room design which included 6 incredible fitted pipe, crystal chandeliers that were designed and constructed specifically for our wedding. MDM’s use of fabric, ambient light and patterned lighting gave the room a warm and elegant glow, which enhanced the industrial vibe at Morgan. The team at MDM is accessible, creative and so much fun to work with! Thank you to David, Patty and the entire MDM team for a wonderful experience! It was a pleasure!

MDM and our DJ, David, were awesome! From our first meeting with MDM they were professional, responsive, and thorough. Our DJ was David and he was awesome! He made sure to go over our planning forms with us beforehand and made sure everything ran smoothly the day of our wedding. The DJ and music selection were really important to my husband and I and MDM went above and beyond our expectations. They made sure our guests were on the dance floor the entire night. I am a bit of a control freak and sent multiple emails before our event and MDM was very thorough in their responses and responded very quickly. We cannot say enough good things about this company. I would highly recommend them for your wedding day!

My husband and I had our wedding reception at the Adler Planetarium, and we utilized MDM Entertainment for our DJ and lighting needs. First off, the music at our wedding was incredible! DJ Robert was able to put together a playlist for the whole night that incorporated many different genres of music and kept the dance floor packed the entire night. He truly is a special talent and joy to work with and we are so very happy to have had him for our special day. We also utilized MDM for the grapevine lighting of the venue and they made it look stunning, providing the exact type of lighting/color that we were looking for. Patti was our primary sales consultant with MDM and she made the entire process seamless and straightforward. She is such a great person to work with! We would recommend MDM for anyone’s music and lighting needs!

There are no words to describe how amazing Patti is. Our ceremony and reception were at the same venue. Our reception hall was pretty large and I really wanted our ceremony to feel more intimate. She completely transformed the space with lighting and draping. I think I showed her one picture and she knew exactly what to do. She created a space that was absolutely breathtaking for the ceremony. She was extremely professional and accommodating, and I could not ask for more. Patti at MDM was phenomenal! She completely softened and transformed my venue space with the lighting and draping. She had excellent suggestions and knew the exact look, style, and feel I was trying to capture at my summer wedding. David from MDM Entertainment was our wedding DJ. From the first time he sat down and spoke with us, he really seemed to get our music style as a couple. And we have very high expectations when it comes to Dj's. In the months leading up to our wedding David was always very patient and professional when answering all of our questions, mixing together a song for our first dance, and helping us format the timeline during the reception. My husband and I love dancing, and we wanted our guests to dance the entire night- which we did! We received so many compliments on the DJ. Our families were very impressed with how seamlessly David was able to play music that represented both of our cultures ( Mexican & Puerto Rican), while also playing the music that we love to party to ( house, hip-hop, & reggeaton). We had an absolute blast and we have David to thank for setting the mood, and we will definitely book MDM again for future events!

We are so happy we went with MDM Entertainment for our DJ, Lighting, and Drape services. From the start they were so easy to work with, we had an initial meeting, and shared with Patti what we were looking for, and she made the process simple. They have several different packages to choose from. We also added drapery to our package, and it turned out so beautiful. Our DJ Mike and his assistant were fabulous the day of the wedding, the day/night was a whirlwind of course, but we danced the night away and had a blast. The drape team did a wonderful job, and stayed throughout the ceremony, to open and close the drape, and also draped it completely open after cocktail hour, and returned at the end of the event to remove it. If you choose to go with MDM, you won't be sorry. They are quick to respond to any questions, and extremely professional! Thanks so much MDM for helping to make our day perfect!!

MDM was incredible. They not only provided a service that was second to none, but they also bailed us out big time. We had hired a photo booth vendor for our reception that blew us off and never showed up (yeah that happened) and when MDM found out about it they had one of their photo booths there and set up within 30 minutes. We were so happy to be able to fulfill everything we were so excited to tell our guests about leading up to the big day and that would have been impossible without MDM. HIRE THEM FOR ANY EVENT THAT REQUIRES SUCH SERVICES. You will be so happy that you did; we certainly are. The music was wonderful and appealed to all our guests. The emcee work provided a very fun flow and pace to the wedding. They were incredibly helpful and flexible leading up to the wedding to ensure that everything was the way we wanted it. I only have positive things to say about our experience with MDM. We used their lighting services for our wedding and had a fantastic experience from start to finish. All communication via phone and email was positive, helpful and thorough and Patti was excellent with checking in and making sure our lighting package perfectly fit our needs/wants. We ended up using their grapevine balls above the dance floor and soft amber uplighting around the room and it all looked stunning. Everything was perfectly in place when we arrived and our guests could not stop commenting on how unique the grapevine balls were. Definitely worth the price - I highly recommend MDM!

I just recently got married, and MDM Entertainment kept the party going the whole time! Our initial meeting went so well. I did not feel like they were trying to sell us anything extra we didn't need; they just kept asking about our plans for the day to see how they could best fit our needs. David was our DJ, and I highly recommend! No one left the dance floor the entire night. He did a great job reading the crowd to make sure he was playing the right music, but also got all our requests in at the perfect time. He would also check in with us to make sure of the plans, and was very easy to work with. If you want people up and on the dance floor all night at your event, I would book MDM Entertainment!

We used MDM for our wedding in January 2017 and couldn't be happier with how it turned out! We booked a DJ and also photobooth through them. Both were top-notch, but the DJ'ing in particular was fantastic. They really know how to read a crowd and keep folks dancing. We received several comments from guests after the wedding that it was one of the most entertaining weddings they had attended! This accomplishment is outstanding, considering we gave pretty limited direction to MDM about musical choices. From perhaps a half-dozen 'must plays' and a long spotify playlist of varied and eccentric music for inspiration, they managed to craft a perfect playlist for the night.

Patti is amazing. We booked a tent venue before it was even fully built, just using pictures from the old tent and drawings of the structure to make our decision. We were on the fence until we met Patti. She had so many ideas and was full of excitement about the possibilities of having a blank slate to work with. Every single recommendation she made we loved. We wanted rustic elements, she suggested grapevine balls and whiskey barrels. We wanted romantic lighting, she knew exactly the shade of uplighting to use and how to space it out. The few days before our wedding, her team was there putting all the details into place and she was super responsive via both phone and email to answer my questions. MDM is definitely a company that has a goal of making your wedding unique, special, and what you've dreamed of, and they know exactly how to make it happen. MDM provided the lighting decor and color wash for our Halloween-themed wedding reception this past weekend and made the room look absolutely stunning! The consistent communication with Mike and Patti throughout the entire planning process allowed for their crew to perfectly create the elegant, yet slightly spooky, vibe that we were going for.

The setup crew, Adam and another gentleman whose name I did not catch, were very friendly and checked to make sure that I was happy with how everything looked. They did an amazing job, and we are extremely grateful for their hard work and the beautiful final product. They truly made our vision come to life!

We received so many compliments from our guests on the lighting and how it really pulled the look of the room together, all thanks to MDM. This company goes above and beyond for their clients, and we would definitely highly recommend using them for any lighting needs. You will not be disappointed! We found MDM through our venue, and I am so glad we chose them. We used the grapevine balls, as well as the photo booth package. Both services came out perfectly, we did not have any issues with setup or on the day of. The photobooth attendant was friendly and attentive. We used MDM for lighting and DJ services for our wedding on 9-16-16. They were great to work with from the start and we thought they were very professional but still priced fairly. We had worked with one DJ since we started working with MDM months before our wedding. Unfortunately, days before our wedding, he had a family emergency arise and he was unable to play our wedding. MDM called us and informed us of the situation (which we weren't thrilled about, but it was one of those scenarios where there's nothing you can do). MDM paired us with a different DJ, named Sigi. Sigi did everything and anything to get himself acquainted with our wedding and was readily available whenever needed. Given the situation, we were overly appreciative of his efforts as it was so last minute and we feel the DJ really controls a lot of the wedding. Sigi did an amazing job and we received countless praises about how much fun everyone had! Thanks Sigi! Aside from that, Patti was a huge help in picking out colors for the paper lanterns. Thanks Patti! Overall, MDM was fantastic to work with and we would highly recommend using them for your next event. Should we ever need DJ or lighting services in the future, we certainly will!

From our first meeting with MDM to the end of our reception, MDM was nothing but spectacular and professional. We used them for their DJ services. First, we met with Patti who was very knowledgeable of our venue and the requirements we needed to make our wedding entertainment successful. She was very accommodating with the several meetings that we had with her. We never felt like we were being pressured into a package that we didn't need. Based on our music preferences she was able to match us with DJ Nick.

DJ Nick was everything we could have hoped for and more. From early on in the process he was able to accommodate our music preferences and give us suggestions. We had very specific requests throughout the night and he was able to fulfill all of them. He introduced himself to our parents prior to the event and was a stand up gentleman throughout the night. He was always prepared and kept us on schedule, letting us know when speeches were coming up, first dance, etc. Once the dancing portion of the night began, the dance floor was never empty. He was able to keep all generations on the dance floor all night with a variety of different eras of dance music. We were thoroughly impressed and received numerous compliments on how great the music was. Several of our friends inquired about DJ Nick for their own weddings coming up in the near future.

We HIGHLY recommend MDM Entertainment and DJ Nick. You will NOT be disappointed!

Nick from MDM DJ'd our wedding last night in Chicago. He did an amazing job. He had a call with us a few days before and was very thorough while learning what we wanted. He also made some great suggestions for entrance and closing songs. Nick interacted with us throughout the night and kept us on schedule. I would highly recommend MDM and especially Nick to anyone. The general manager at our venue also said how amazing they thought the up lighting was for their room.

DJ Nick was absolutely amazing!! We had our wedding at the Adler Planetarium and I can say that Nick was a huge part in making it the best night of our lives. He was incredibly thorough with everything to make sure all was perfect. Nick was such a great guy and helped us out with many music selections, finding the right vibes for different times of the night, organizing the timeline of the reception, etc. Nick was so considerate and helped us out with anything we needed, even if it wasn't related to the music or dance floor. The dance was always packed all night thanks to Nick! Seriously never a dull moment on the dance floor! He knows what to play and when to play it to keep the energy going, for all ages! We have had so much positive feedback from our family and friends that Nick was the best DJ they've heard at any wedding! Look no further if you want perfection!

Patti and the rest MDM were amazing as well! Patti was such a huge help and very prompt getting back to us. We were planning the wedding from out of state and it could get stressful, but being so prompt really took out a lot of the stress. Advice for someone thinking about going with MDM? Do it. Go with them. The whole experience with them was fantastic. They offer so many things for you to choose from to make your wedding perfect. We went with some simple up-lighting which made such a huge difference in the tone of the room. We also went with a photo booth which was so incredibly worth it. The attendant was super friendly and my guests loved it, especially that they all got copies of their photos as well as photos put into a book for us with comments from the guests.
We went with Nick Ruich for our DJ and we have absolutely no regrets. From the first phone call I had with Nick I instantly felt complete trust with him. You can not go wrong with someone who loves their job so incredibly much. Not only did he play the perfect music all night long, but he takes the reigns of the reception for you so you have less to stress about. Not only did he take care of myself and my wife during the night, he made himself available to our entire party and families as well. Everybody was very impressed with him, which is well deserved because he was able to keep me on the dance floor all night. He was a real friend and was having just as much fun as we were the entire night and that's something I love to see. Even days after the wedding he made sure to see if there was anything else he could help us with. No one should have any doubt about hiring Nick, you will be in great hands. He even made time as he was packing up to give my 10 year old little brother some DJ advice!

DJ Aumir from MDM Entertainment made our wedding day incredible. He was incredibly responsive to all of our music requests - we were very specific about what kind of music and what blends of music we wanted played. I had multiple people come up to me during our wedding and compliment how great the music was. What was even more memorable was that the dance floor was packed and when our wedding was eventually over with we had people complaining because they wanted it to go on later into the night. I can not say enough good words about DJ Aumir and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for DJ for their wedding! We attended a wedding where Nick was the DJ and I spent the entire night on the dance floor. We knew he would do a great job but were blown away by the service of everyone at MDM.

We had a Photobooth and DJ from MDM Entertainment at our wedding on March 19, 2016. We could not have asked for a smoother process. Patti was very responsive and made everything very easy for us. Everyone loved the photobooth and we got so many great pictures in our album. We cannot say enough good things about DJ Nick. The music throughout the whole event flowed really nicely. The dance floor was filled the whole night with friends and family of all ages, even the Groom's 80 year old Aunt was dancin the entire night! He even went the extra mile to mix 2 songs together for the father-daughter dance!

Cannot say enough good things about DJ Nick and MDM Entertainment!

All responses were prompt. The services met or exceeded expectations. Patti responded quickly and sought to understand exactly what we wanted and bring our ideas to life. Her expertise and professionalism were critical in our venue space being optimized. She had suggestions which were clearly communicated and executed to make the most of the room.

DJ Nick was accessible and responsive. He listened to our music preferences and walked through the timeline of the wedding in advance, as well as meeting for a walk through at the venue. He gave us his cell number to make sure we could communicate with him leading up to the event. On the day of, he kept the energy high and the dance floor was always full.

I would HIGHLY recommend using MDM Entertainment. Patty was super helpful throughout the whole process. She knew right away based on our personalities and cultures (my husband and I) that DJ David would be a great fit for us. David was beyond a great fit!! He defiantly made our wedding PERFECT! He met with my Husband outside of work hours to go over details of the type of music we wanted. The week before the wedding, David met my husband and I to go over final details. I felt 100% confident with David that he would make our wedding a blast. 3 weeks after my wedding, I am still having guests contact me on how much fun they had on the dance floor. David could read the crowd on when to play a fast song, when to switch up and play some Spanish songs. The minute the music started, the dance floor NEVER cleared. It was literally packed the whole entire night till the very last song at midnight. DJ David truly made our wedding absolutely wonderful!!! You could see he truly cared on making his guests happy. I would HIGHLY recommend hiring DJ David for your wedding. You will not be disappointed. Thank you David, for making our night a truly memorable one, you simply are amazing at what you do!

Working with MDM was a wonderful experience. Todd was our coordinator and was very helpful and patient. He worked with to make my dream day, just that- a dream. He sent me pictures of previous events to help guide the vision of our perfect day. He also recommended other vendors he knew were reputable and could also help me bring my vision to life! Todd recommended MDM's DJ Brian as our DJ and he was absolutely perfect! I still have guests commenting on the music and that the dance floor was never empty! MDM was a great entertainment company with so many options! I couldn't have been happier.

Patti helped us with lighting and hanging items at our wedding at Bridgeport Art Center and it looked AMAZING. She helped hang a beautiful wood and floral piece above us at the alter, did all of the uplighting which made such a difference, draped the room to make it more intimate, hung picture frames so they looked like they were floating, and hung our wedding cake from the ceiling...yah, I know! She made the atmosphere magical and unique and we really appreciate all her help on our wedding day. She was so responsive and quick to help out in any way possible. We couldn't have been happier with using MDM Entertainment for our DJ and lighting services. When we visited our venue for our walk through, there were these beautiful globe lanterns hanging from the ceiling and I immediately asked who the vendor was. After being told it was MDM Entertainment, I contacted them to find out how to do something similar for our wedding. I worked with Patti to figure out which colors to work with, and when I saw them the day of, I can honestly say I gasped in delight. Adam and Damaris, who hung the lanterns the morning of, did SUCH a fabulous job! They were stunning!

When my fiance and I started researching DJ options, I kept stumbling across MDM Entertainment again. Since I'd already worked with Patti on the lanterns, I contacted her for more information about their DJ services. She asked a lot of great questions to learn what it was that we were looking for in a DJ, the feel we wanted to accomplish for our guests, and the type of music we both enjoy. From there, she selected DJ David O. to work with us on our wedding day.

David was lovely to work with, just like everyone else at MDM Entertainment! He made me feel comfortable sharing our preferences during our call the week of the wedding, and assured me that he wouldn't find our morning brunch wedding boring! He was gracious and flexible when our ceremony room proved difficult to work with for his equipment, and thankfully we were able to come up with a suitable alternative that worked for everyone. I also appreciated that he'd pop over to our table to ask us if we were ready for the cake cutting, toasts, etc. so that we were never surprised when they were happening. Our dance floor ended up being empty the entire reception because the weather was GORGEOUS and guests enjoyed lawn games and mingling outside instead, but David made sure the music was great for the folks who were mingling inside out of the sun.

We just had our wedding on 10/10/15 and DJ Robert from MDM Entertainment was our DJ. He did an amazing job and went well beyond our expectations. One of the most important elements of our wedding was to have everyone on the dance floor until the night ended, and they were! DJ Robert kept everyone engaged and knew exactly what songs would keep everyone going. We weren't the only ones that were impressed as so many of our guests were amazed at what a great job he did. We dealt with Patti to get everything set up and her customer service was awesome. She responded to all of our inquiries immediately. We highly recommend MDM Entertainment.

We could not have made a better decision than choosing MDM Entertainment for our wedding! We used their DJ services, up-lighting, and name in lights. Everyone we worked with here (mainly Todd and Robert) were absolutely amazing.. super personable, very helpful, and they answer emails very quickly! They worked very closely with us on every detail of lighting and timing, and happily answered every little question I had. Before our event, they met with us at our venue to talk about logistics and to bounce ideas around of placement of equipment and such. We did our dancing outside and they offered a "just in case" option that would stay within the same price. Our lighting looked absolutely stunning and perfect and exactly how we imagined it. And, of course, we had a PACKED dance floor all night! We could not have been happier with our choice to go with MDM. If you are stuck, definitely go with them!!

Of everything we chose for our big day including the venue, MDM was by far the BEST choice we made for our wedding day and one of the vendors we would absolutely use again if we had the opportunity to do so . Patti (from the office) was amazing to work with and was super helpful with our timeline of the event. One of the things we really liked about MDM is you actually get to meet the DJ you will be using for your wedding. You begin by meeting with Patti and then based off of the type of DJ you are looking for she pairs you up with the best fit and then you have a meeting with your actual DJ before booking. The communication with MDM the enter time we worked with them was fantastic.

We cannot say enough great things about our DJ, Brian. Our wedding coordinator did not do what she was supposed to do the night of the wedding and Brian really saved the day, keeping everything running smoothly and helping us stick to our timeline. He was so friendly and easy to work with. He honored all of our requests (both as an MC and DJ). He did exactly what we asked of him and then some. He kept the crowd going the entire night, he was an incredible DJ and we got many compliments. There was NO CHEESINESS whatsoever! Brian only used the mic to MC when necessary. We wanted a 'young, fun, upbeat' vibe for our wedding but with music all of our guests could enjoy and dance to and Brian did a perfect job giving us this kind of a vibe. MDM truly made our night. A DJ really makes or breaks an event and I would HIGHLY recommend this company (and Brian) to anyone looking for a wedding DJ!!!

MDM Entertainment provided the DJ, uplighting, backdrop, and photo booth services for our wedding in June 2015. Our main contact, Todd, was a pleasure to work with—very organized, responsive, and willing to help us achieve the look we wanted for our wedding. The uplighting and backdrop created a wonderful ambience for our reception and I was thrilled that MDM was able to achieve the exact colors I wanted for the lights (blush pink for dinner, blue to match the bridesmaid dresses for dancing). The photobooth was a hit with all our guests and we love having a guestbook full of all of the photos, as well as the digital copies of all the photos. Our DJ, Nick, kept the dancefloor packed all night and I have heard from at least 10 guests that he was the best wedding DJ they’ve ever heard! We highly recommend MDM!!

We used MDM Entertainment to DJ our wedding ceremony and reception and it was a great experience! They were extremely thoughtful and helpful in the planning process all the way through the event. We absolutely loved working with Patti to plan our event. She was wonderful and always made herself available to meet with us (which we loved since we were planning an event from out of town). Choosing MDM entertainment was one of the best wedding choices we made. We loved working with them, they really have excellent customer service and are very accommodating. Patti was so sweet and helped make my visions a reality.

She recommended we use Brian as our DJ, and he really was a perfect fit. He was very helpful with controlling the timeline and flow of the reception. He was a great DJ and was super fun, he played everything we wanted which was great! Our wedding night was also on a Blackhawks game and he kept us updated through the whole game and made sure to play Chelsea Dagger whenever we scored and when we won, which was a nice touch. My friends never left the dance floor!

MDM also did our drapery and lighting. The designed a gorgeous backdrop behind the head table with sheer fabric and fairy lights which was just amazing. They also strung bistro lights for us on the patio which looked amazing. I have a large family now and we decided to take our family photo at night on the patio with the bistro lights and the photo came out perfect, we are actually going to use it for our Christmas Card.

My wife and I are wedding photographers, so we see DJs every single weekend. About two years ago we got engaged on a Friday and shot a wedding in Chicago the next day and Nick Ruich from MDM was the DJ. We left the wedding and immediately knew he was our guy. And he exceeded our expectations! Music during the ceremony and reception was one of the most important things to me because music is such a huge part of my relationship with my wife. There's so much I could say about Nick. He was on time, always checked in with me, called me the day before to see how things were going, and delivered the most memorable night of my life during the reception. The music never stopped and he mixed all the songs so well--most are cheesy and seem to be pre-mixed. But not Nick, he's a legit DJ! He has perfect timing for what and when to play certain songs. I'm picky so I would go up and asked for certain songs to be played and he would fit tho

From the time we met with Patti H at MDM, we knew we wanted to work with MDM. She was so bubbly, organized and easy to work with, and Mike D was terrific after the initial meeting as well. MDM is incredibly thorough throughout the entire process. They have a user friendly website that couples can use to fill out questionnaires, music requests and other information related to your wedding. You may think some of these questionnaires are long, but you will understand why it's necessary when everything goes so smoothly and perfectly on your special day. MDM provided videos of their DJs and we agreed that DJ Nick would be the best fit for our wedding. He couldn't have been more perfect and awesome! We had some high expectations and DJ Nick literally exceeded not only our expectations but our family and friends. He was so wonderful from start to finish. From the time he was introduced to us, he was incredibly detailed, thoughtful, great with follow-up, considerate (he even called me the night before our wedding to see if we needed anything) and his music/DJ work was creative and spot on with what we were hoping for our wedding. We can't thank him enough! So many people came up to us and asked how we found him. He literally kept everyone on the dance floor the whole night. He handled the crowd very well and dealt with the drunks who wouldn't leave him alone about song requests in a very diplomatic way. He was so great! Our wedding venue, the Park Hyatt Chicago also commented that it was the best wedding music they've ever heard. We also hired MDM to set up gobo lighting, which was done by Sigi. They looked fantastic.
He even gave us a cd of our gobos, which was unexpected but lovely for a keepsake. Everything and everyone from MDM exceeded our already high expectations!!!! Thank you for making our day perfect.

MDM did the absolute most amazing job at my wedding. Booking through MDM was one of the easiest of all my vendors. We personally met with Patti who coordinated our wedding needs with their services. She really sat down and got to know us and that made us feel super comfortable. Patti got our vision and made such great recommendations. She even emailed me the week of my wedding to say "happy wedding week"!

We picked DJ nick and he helped make our wedding absolutely perfect! He called me the week of the wedding and got to know us and what kinds of music we liked and didn't like. He really got to know what was important to us that we wanted included in our wedding. He made great suggestions and had awesome ideas. Nick was very professional the day of the wedding. He was organized and really kept the night on track. Our dance floor was always crowded and everyone had a blast!! He really wanted our night to be perfect and it was! I would highly recommend nick for any event! He really is great at what he does!

We also had uplifting and it really made our room look fabulous! MDM really got my vision and made everything perfect!

I loved MDM from the moment I saw their website. I was so happy to be able to complete the necessary forms on my own time and not have to fax or scan etc. Their music library was vast and their staff was always following up to see how they could help.
DJ Robert was a great MC AND he wote a suit and tie. That made the mother of the Bride very pleased. He was also very gracious about receiving a vendor meal. He was excellent at reading the crowd. Needless to say, the party continued after we left. No regrets. Thumbs up for MDM!

Our wedding was incredible and we completely attribute that to our DJ and the services of MDM entertainment. From the moment we spoke with our DJ Nick in our planning conference call, we knew it would be a night to remember. All of our requests (no matter how obscure) were met and Nick even checked in with us periodically throughout the night to make sure he was making our dreams come true. Our wedding was literally made into a nightclub, which is exactly what we had envisioned. We had a blast, our guests had a blast, and hands down, we recommend MDM Entertainment.

Patti! How can we even begin to share how amazing Patti is at MDM… The first time we met, she was very friendly, kind, and beyond knowledgeable on how to make elegant spaces appear before our eyes. She was always available for questions, quick to respond to calls and emails, and she’s a step above professional! We had a number of guests approach us to tell us the wedding was the most “elegant ceremony” they had ever attended—that compliment goes straight to MDM, who created a unique, jaw dropping, and beautiful space for our nuptials! Patti was very responsive during all of my communications with her. This is the one vendor that we really "researched" and I was very happy with our choice! Initially we had decided against doing any additional lighting in our venue but decided to get a quote for some paper lanterns. We felt that it was very reasonable and decided to add them on. The did a great job installing them and we had several compliments about them. Our DJ was Nick and we really enjoyed him. We had a phone call with him and filled out our survey and it seemed like he was able to really get a good idea of our style and what we were looking for in a DJ. I would recommend Patti, Nick and the rest of the team at MDM to anyone looking for a reasonably priced professional DJ and Lighting company! Thanks!!

MDM did the uplighting and custom monogram light on the dance floor for our wedding, and we were so so happy with everything -- Patti was an absolute dream to work with, she is so friendly on the phone, helped us make up a custom package and gave us helpful advice for the uplighting color to match the look we wanted. They even did a custom monogram which exactly matched our programs and menus. MDM put together gorgeous soft lighting effects -- it really put the final touch on the room to make it so beautiful and really added to the overall feel of the room. We had met with another lighting company before we met Patti and there was just no comparison in professionalism, quality and value for the price -- she and the MDM team are top of the line.
