We hired Michael extremely last minute due to many changes from the Coronavirus. He was on time, played all the songs I wanted, and set the tone for my big day. We had a small wedding with immediate family on March 23rd at Forsyth Park in Savannah GA. I would recommend him to anyone. -

LOVE! Super recommended!!
If I could give 10 stars for flexibility, I would! We had to change our wedding plans at the last minute due to force majeure and Michael was totally open to making the trek up to ATL from Savannah.
Our guests absolutely loved him and it was super cool to find out that he speaks German, french, spanish, and we were able to converse in four languages! Not to mention the music was so beautifully played. -

Michael played for our pre wedding music as guests were being seated and during our wedding ceremony for our processional and recessional songs. Him and the cellist did such an amazing job! Maria Sent on 07/19/2018Michael is WONDERFUL! Both my husband and I have known him for almost 7 plus years, due to going to high school together. From then to now, Michael has always been professional. He has an amazing talent of playing the violin that could move you to tears! He played for our ceremony, which was moved inside due to rain (in a large & spacious room), and it still sounded so wonderful! Because of the rain, there was a delay and he played more songs than he intended to in order to make sure that our families were not bored! All in all, we were so thrilled to have him there for our special day and even if you don't know him on a personal level, Michael's personality and skill are infectious!

Angie Sent on 06/19/2018Michael played the violin for our May Wedding while we walked down the aisle and cocktail hour. The violin added the perfect southern charm we wanted. He also was very flexible! He joined us for rehearsal on Friday (day before our wedding) to practice and scope out the venue, driving an hour and 20 minutes from where he lived. Day of the wedding was one of the first people there, very reliable and professional! Other than all those things, we’ve received many compliments from our guests on how much they loved to hear the violin and he played requests, which our guests loved! So if you want a violin playing for your wedding, he’s the guy to hire!

He played beautitul traditional processional music and extended a song while the flower girl contemplated wakking down the aisle. He transported all of his belongings to our cocktail hour loctation and played a fun mix of songs for oue guests. The guests loved his music and his presence. 10/10 would recommend.

I almost feel bad about writing this review, but I feel like other brides deserve to hear my experience. My husband and I chose to have a very small, intimate wedding, with ten guests. We didn't want to deal with the stress of having a big wedding and dealing with multiple vendors. We had originally planned on making a playlist for the ceremony, but after a lot of thought, we decided on hiring a violinist to make our ceremony extra special.
After signing our contract and receiving a song list, I didn't hear from Michael until the week of my wedding. One month before the wedding, I emailed him in part to check-in and in part to request a specific song for my walk down the aisle. I received no response. I emailed him again a week later, and again received no response. I never received an email asking me about a song list for him or any indication that he still remembered about our contract.
One week before the wedding, I emailed him again, with a song list (excluding the song I actually wanted to walk down the aisle to, because, at this point, I wasn't even sure if he was still going to show up). I let him know that it was nerve-wracking that he hadn't responded to my previous emails. He responded with an apology, and told me that he never received my emails.
I do not think that he intentionally ignored me. I think he stretched himself a little too thin, didn't see my emails, and forgot about my wedding. I know that he played at multiple other weddings on my wedding day and that he's a busy artist. Things happen, I understand that. But his failure to communicate with me caused me stress and anxiety, and that was exactly what I was trying to avoid.
That being said, he's very talented and the music really set the mood for the ceremony. He began playing 30 minutes before the ceremony and stuck around afterwards to continue playing. The guests and I really enjoyed his music. But if I were to do it again, I'd hire a different violinist to avoid the stress.
