We couldn’t be happier with our experience with McMillen Photography! From start to finish, they were absolutely amazing. Communication was quick, easy, and always professional. They worked seamlessly with our videographer, making the entire day run smoothly and stress-free.
The photography itself was beyond anything we could have hoped for. McMillen Photography truly went above and beyond, capturing every moment beautifully and delivering all of our proofs much faster than we expected.
We also hired them for their DJ Service, which was phenomenal. They were incredibly easy to work with, attentive to every detail, and kept the energy perfect throughout the entire event.
On top of that, their Photo Booth Service was a huge hit! Our guests had so much fun with the props and printouts, and we absolutely love the keepsake book they created for us with everyone’s photos and messages. It’s something we will cherish forever.
If you’re looking for a one-stop, top-notch wedding vendor, we cannot recommend McMillen Photography enough. They truly helped make our day unforgettable!

McMillen Photography!
All we can say is wow! We were married July 8, 2023 at Phipps Conservatory in Pittsburgh. Picking a photographer was one of the things that as a bride, I stressed about the most. During our search, I turned up McMillen Photography and instantly knew that they were the answer. Their packages were reasonably priced and included a lot and their photographers came highly rated.
We were lucky enough to have Ben and Ed as photographers on our big day. Both Ben and Ed were easy to work with, very respectful, and made the day stress free. Kailee in the office was always responsive and the individuals who completed the editing did such an amazing job. We couldn’t have asked for more.

Jen and Katie were so fun to work with on the day of our wedding. We were a high energy bridal party, and we enjoyed having them there to celebrate with us. Jen brought all the details we discussed (ex. my formal shot list, inspiration pictures) so that there was no pressure on me to try and remember what poses I wanted. They got great photos of me and my husband --- but, beyond that, they captured great shots of our reception (including decor, cookie table, cake) and our GUESTS --- I will cherish the photos I have of our loved ones celebrating at our wedding!

McMillen Photography came as a recommendation from our venue and a friend I work with had used them for her wedding. I was very pleased as they had 2 photographers still available after we moved our wedding date due to COVID. We had Ed H and Ed J and are EXTREMELY pleased with them! They showed up early the day of the wedding which I always appreciate. They were both very laid back and casual which I appreciated because neither myself nor my husband are big "picture takers" and they made us feel much more comfortable. They worked to ensure that all the photos we wanted were taken and they also had several ideas themselves for cute photos. We have not gotten the photos back yet but I am sure they are going to be beautiful. Their coordinator, Kailee, was our correspondent and answered all of my e-mails very quickly.

Perfect Photographer
I just wanted to reach out to say how much I appreciate my photographer, Sara Morgan, and my videographer for capturing special moments on the most important day of my life! Sara was absolutely wonderful to work with and it was so much fun! She made sure to take every picture I asked her to take, and I appreciate how she even stayed out of the way as she took pictures throughout the entire day. I know at some weddings I have seen photographers get extremely close to the wedding couple, especially during the ceremony, but Sara was amazing and I couldn't have asked for a better photographer! At one point in the night, I could not find my throw away bouquet for my bouquet toss. Sara was on it, and once she found it she ran upstairs to the balcony area for me to throw out to the girls. She literally saved the night for me in that moment! I'm so excited to see how the pictures and ceremony video turn out! A huge thank you to both of them!

I will never be able to thank Travis and Jason enough! They were AWESOME! It was like having two extra groomsmen! Seriously. They helped us with our cuff links, ties and pocket squares! They were so friendly and professional! They showed how much they care about people and their craft. They were so efficient with their time and captured every moment from our home, outside, at the church and through out the entire reception. The bridge and night time shots were sooooo creative! We used McMillen Photography for our engagement pictures to decide if we wanted to book for our wedding. Ben McMillen took them and after seeing a few, unedited shots we fell in love and booked the same day. Ben sat down with us and explained very clearly and thoroughly all the options for packages and then let us choose our own photographer. After looking through pictures of each photographer available for our date, we chose Bailey Thorn and we were so right to do so. Bailey was professional but sociable and made us comfortable. She jumped in if we needed something and made sure we were calm and collected. The sneak peeks we were shown were incredible and I can’t wait to see the rest. I would 100% recommend McMillen Photography for any event you’re considering a photographer for. But I’m not very favorable of Bailey. She was just truly amazing and I don’t think we could have had a better photographer for our day. I’m so impressed with her personable and professional demeanor. She made me feel so good about myself and really helped us capture the moments of our day, we’ll forever look back on.

Second Daughter's Wedding, great
Our second daughter's wedding photos were excellent, because we selected McMillen Photography. Compared to the first daughter's wedding, with a different photographer, McMillen was thorough, artistic, and a great value. I especially enjoyed the photos of my daughter and me and will always treasure them. The candids at the reception were excellent. Bailey and Margie worked so hard to get everyone in, which was challenging because it was a massive outdoor venue. I would definitely recommend McMillen Photography.

Unbelievably talented!
There's not enough space here or enough words to explain how happy my husband and I are with the work that Kailee and Ken did for our wedding. They have captured each and every moment that made our wedding special, unique, and memorable. They went above and beyond to photograph people, things, and moments throughout the day that my husband and I will look back on and remember forever. They were funny, polite, accommodating, and hard-working. It was clear that they have lots of experience and were able to put that experience into action.
In terms of communication, I worked primarily with Kailee. She was extremely professional and easy to work with! She always responded to my calls, emails and texts quickly and always answered every question or concern that I had.
We also had our engagement session done with Kailee. She took time to explain her process and talk about what our expectations were for our photographer on our wedding day. She truly wanted to make sure that we were getting everything that we wanted and more out of her.
I honestly cannot recommend McMillen Photography enough. They captured the most beautiful memories for my husband and I, and we will cherish them forever! You will not regret choosing them!!

We were SO happy with McMillen Photo. From the very first second we met Ben, we were so comfortable and excited to use them for our wedding. We went with McMillen photography for our wedding photos and I couldn’t be happier with my decision! From the get go, all of the staff at McMillen made me feel like I was their priority, which is a great feeling when it comes to wedding vendors. Ben was our photographer and he has the best personality for it, we felt comfortable and at ease with him and he kept us laughing throughout the day. Well Organized and efficient
Our wedding was outside on a very hot day. Sara kept the wedding party on task despite the heat and everyone complaining. She was efficient and got our group shots done in a timely manner. Everything from our getting ready photos, to our family and friends, to the reception captured our day perfectly.

Great experience with McMillen
We used Breanne B as our photographer at McMillen, and she was great! (https://www.mcmillenphotography.net/photographer-breanne.html) Breanne was a true professional, easy to work with, and called me before the big day just to check in and make sure that we were on the same page. Haven't gotten pictures back yet (it's only been about a week), but the ones that Breanne showed us (and our moms) during the ceremony were beautiful and creative! Recommended for sure!

We booked with McMillen Photography for our photography and videography. We had Kimber and Jessica for photography and Amie for videography. We met Jessica for our engagement photos and clicked very well and was nothing short of amazing on the day of our wedding. Both Kimber and Jessica made us feel so very comfortable and at ease. Amie did great with the videography as well and captured the highlights of our day! They were all very professional and would def recommend to other clients!

Mcmillian photography is the best! I had Ben and his assistant (I can’t remeber her name) but they both were such a joy and pleasure to work with! He let me decide my poses and worked well with my ring bearer and flower girl! They were very professional, arrived early to the location and made everything super fun and relaxing! My photos came out perfect and were done within a week of being married! Would fully recommend Mcmillian photography :)

Having McMillen Photography capture our wedding day was one of the easiest wedding planning decisions we made. Amanda were very easy to work with throughout the whole process. We planned our Pennsylvania wedding from down in North Carolina. She was extremely flexible with work schedules and extremely prompt in responding to emails answering all my questions. She made the whole planning process very easy.
On our big day, Ben did an AMAZING job capturing all of it. We LOVED our final product. It was great to relive our big day through all the pictures. He was so laid back and wonderful, he made the whole process of taking pictures fun and enjoyable. He was very professional and kept everything flowing. It snowed at least 8 inches on our wedding day (which I was hoping for) and Ben was trooper getting all the outside pictures I wanted. He truly captured all the magic that came with the snow!

I had Jess and she was simply amazing! She showed up early and was so easy to work with. She captured amazing images candidly during the ceremony and at the reception. I think one of my favorite's is during my sister's speech when she captured us laughing and just the pure joy. She's great with posed photos too and wrangling our large families for group shots. She was a great sport and it rained during the day, so she was able to capture some amazing shots in the hotel lobby and we went outside after dark to capture some backlit photos in the rain. They're stunning. I had my proofs available before I was even back from the honeymoon! The front office worked with me to create a package that fit my needs because some of things they were offering I knew I didn't want. I would recommend Jess and the McMillen Photography to anyone a million times over.

McMillen photography does a superb job on their photography. Our wedding photos came back within 4.5 weeks and they look exceptionally beautiful!! I had a great experience with McMillen Photography! The office staff was quick to respond to questions, and listened to all my concerns and expectations. Bailey, our photographer, was phenomenal. She was friendly, on time, and made sure to get all the shots we requested. Bailey had great ideas for poses and was able to engage my stepkids throughout the picture process. I was shocked by the quick turnaround on sneak peaks and receiving all our edited pictures. I highly recommend McMillen Photography and Bailey as wedding photographers.

I had Sara Morgan as my photographer and she was awesome! She has a great personality, showed up 30 minutes early to get set up, stayed until the very end of the reception, and was very creative with the different poses and pictures she took. She worked great with everyone and you could tell she really loves her job. While I have not received pictures yet (still early for those!), she did show me a few sneak peeks on her camera the night of the wedding and they were gorgeous! Photography is one of the most important things about a wedding and I would not change a thing about Sara! All the folks I worked with throughout the process (Amanda was the main one) were also very responsive, pleasant, and accommodating. I would recommend McMillen Photography to anyone without hesitation! Thank you all!!

We booked two photographers from McMillen, Jessica and Scott. The photographers were on time and knew what they were doing. Jessica was my main contact throughout the months before the wedding. She was kind and quick to respond to all my emails and questions. When I was getting into my dress for the wedding, she helped my mom and me with the buttons. I told her that should be an honorary bridesmaid because of how she helped us.
She listened to my ideas about what I wanted and was quick to take photos anywhere I asked. Jess had plenty of creative ideas for group photos and was effective at wrangling and arranging family members for photos.
Scott was also very kind and sometimes hung with Jessica, offering different angles to situations. Then other times, he would depart to make sure he got photos of the men or the other side of the reception area.
We also booked a photo booth and DJ (Steve Barrett) through McMillen. Both were great decisions. Steve Barrett is an AMAZING DJ...he was polite and fun!

I was lucky to have Ben McMillen for our wedding photographer and he was outstanding!! He was friendly and fun, he knew we were on a tight time schedule so he was quick and efficient with his pictures and got some really cool shots that I would not have thought of.. We saw a few preview pictures on his camera and they were amazing! He was quick to post a preview album on his Facebook page and I was in love with all of the pictures!! He was also very fast in having our proofs ready and I spent all night just looking at them, they are beautiful!! We had Ben and Ed as our photographers for our wedding day... and they were simply awesome! Not only are they professional and amazing at what they do, but they are fun too. I am so happy we had photographers with a personality, it makes you able to relax and enjoy the day while they capture the best moments. They were very flexible and were able to capture all the photos we wanted.
The turnaround time for the proofs were very quick and we were happy with that as well. Amanda, will keep you up to date on any questions you may have and where you are in the process of payments, packages, proofs or contracts.

Everything was fantastic! Ben was very personable when he was interacting with us, and we didn't even notice him when he was taking shots in the background. The pictures after the ceremony didn't take long, allowing us more time to mingle with guests, but they came out beautifully! Plus we received the pictures super quickly and there were a few hundred more than we were expecting. I would HIGHLY recommend Ben and his team to all future brides and I'm sure we'll be using him again for family portraits and events! :)

We booked McMillen photography for our wedding after doing a free engagement session with them. Ben and Ken shot our wedding and spent the entire day with us. They spent time getting pictures of us girls getting ready and Ben even helped my bridesmaids steam my veil! I used McMillen photography for my engagement pictures, wedding pictures, and a photo booth. I have nothing bad to say about any of them! Kailee was our lead photographer on the wedding day and she was absolutely amazing. She was great at getting candid shots and always being in the right place at the right time. She had unique ideas for photo backgrounds/poses and took every picture I could've wanted. The photo booth was a huge hit with my guests and added some extra fun to the wedding. It was also great to get a book with the pictures from the photo booth with our guest signatures. It has only been 2 weeks since my wedding and I have already received the online sign in, the proof book, and the USB drive for all my wedding pictures. Previously, it has sometimes been difficult to get in touch with the shop via phone but they have been quick to answer emails and Amanda has been great at returning phone call quickly since the first few attempts about a year ago. I would recommend both the photography and the photo booth to my friends!

Ben was absolutely wonderful! We had quite an eventful day and he was so friendly, professional and helped keep the stress levels down! He did an excellent job managing the little time we ended up with to get all of our family shots, and some beautiful ceremony photos. He actually put together a mini slideshow during the reception and had it set up at our bar so that guests could see - and we had our proofs very, very quickly after the event! 100% satisfied with our decision to use McMillen Photography, and would definitely urge you to make the same choice!

We are so glad that we booked McMillen Photography for our wedding. We didn't give our photographer (Sara) a whole lot of time to do pre-wedding "getting ready" shots, and she did an amazing job with the time that she had. Sara was very professional and even came in a little early to make sure that we could hit the ground running. The wedding was a week ago, so the pictures are still getting sent to us, but the ones that she showed us looked great! Overall, I would recommend McMillen Photography.

McMillen Photography is the best in the business! Every staff member that I spoke with was excellent. We had Ben as our lead photographer and he did a great job, getting every/any picture that we wanted! He also created a slideshow for us at the reception so everyone could have a sneak peak! This was completely unexpected! Our proofbook was at our home not more than 2 weeks after the wedding! Definitely will use them again in the future!

When planning our wedding, my fiance allowed me to go over budget with one item. I chose my photography and I am so glad I did. I found Ben Mcmillen on wedding wire and he was the absolute best! He was so so patient with me and the entire bridal party from start to finish. Such a gentleman too! My pictures are breathtaking. Everyone at the wedding loved him. He had a laptop up at the reception of the proofs he took in the morning. I told 3 couples at my wedding who are engaged to view them. I would highly recommend Ben and his staff to take care of your wedding. I'm so glad I did!

My husband and I found McMillen Photography through a recommended vendors list from my ceremony and reception site. Ed did a fantastic job, and fit right in with our crazy families! We used Eddie Highes for our wedding and he was awesome!! He was very friendly and became a friend, not just our photographer. He was very prompt and allowed us to have fun with our pictures. I had a proof book at my doorstep by the time I got home from my honeymoon. They are amazing!!

Ben, his wife Kailee and an intern he had working for him photographed my wedding back in June and I could not have been more pleased with the amount of wonderful pictures they took for me. They all were so great it's very hard choosing which ones I like the best and they are so fast at getting the wedding party pictures done so you can go out and enjoy all your guests. I would highly recommend them for any type of pictures.

My wife and I used Ben McMillen for our wedding last June (after seeing the incredible work he did for my sister's wedding) and we couldn't be happier with Ben's studio and their service.
Both Ben and Ed were fun, laid-back, and incredibly professional. As far as I was concerned, Ben and Ed were not photographers, they were guests at our wedding who happened to take incredible pictures.
I've had several friends and family use Ben's studio and his work is absolutely first class. Don't hesitate to use these guys!

Ben and Katie did the photography for our engagement and wedding. They were both kind, prompt, professional, trust worthy, and hard working. You can really tell how much they love what they do. The quality of work provided was way above the norm standards. They are really able to capture the vision you have set and step up the game. We really enjoyed working with them and have wonderful memories for a life time. We are so thankful and would only recommend them. Also, believe it or not they were the best price in all comparison.

Ben and Ed were our photographers for our wedding in July. I cannot fully express how impressed I was with their whole service throughout the process! We met personally with Ben a few weeks before the wedding to discuss the details. Their pictures are beautiful and we got a great variety of shots throughout each part of our day. Their package prices are very reasonable, especially considering the quality of the pictures, communication, and time you get from them! We highly recommend McMillen Photography!!

When looking for a photographer for our wedding, my fiancé and I had spoke to several different ones. McMillen offered a free engagement shoot so we signed up and didn't really think anything of it. After out shoot we were so happy with how nice everyone was.
They asked questions to get to know us and made us feel very comfortable. They answered every question we had for them, from about their style of shooting to what a day for a wedding photographer looks like. Needless to say we chose McMillen Photography and we couldn't be more happy with them.
They are willing to take the time to work with you so everything turns out the way that you want it to. We have had a couple more shoots with them and every time we always have fun and the pictures turn out great. I know we will be going back for any type of pictures we will need from them!

I had been stressing for weeks over my wedding and on top of that, I was extremely worried that our photographer wouldn't take any of the pictures that I was hoping we could get on our big day. I worry too much. Jessica showed up ON TIME (which is asking a lot for anything to happen on time on your wedding day). She knew EXACTLY what she was doing; she was very professional. I loved that she took so many candid photos while my girls and I were getting ready. She was quick and efficient in getting the shots she needed. She wasn't afraid to direct any of us so that we could "look better" in our photos (angles, poses, etc.). I'm clearly no model, so some direction was nice. She was kind and very easy to open up to. I am extremely satisfied with my choice in wedding photographer. McMillen Photography has been GREAT with getting back to me in a prompt manner. With wedding planning, communication is KEY. Their wedding photography packages aren't super cheap, but they aren't on the most expensive end of the spectrum either. They are worth every penny! I truly believe you get what you pay for, and I am extremely happy with the outcome of our photos.

My husband and I were married on June 21, 2014 at Lakeside Party Center. After getting at least 10 referrals from friends and family members on the best photography company in the area, it was inevitable that we'd be selecting McMillen Photography. Eddie Hughes was our photographer for the event and it was quite the memorable experience. We selected the photography and photobooth combination package and the photobooth was the "HIT" of the wedding reception. The photography packages were cost efficient and quite comprehensive. Our package included a 270 photo credit to purchase additional items (canvas). Everyone from the owner, Ben McMillen, to the photographer and support staff made this one of the most memorable events that we can cherish in our photos for a lifetime. I would recommend McMillen photography to anyone who wanted professional services with a touch of family!

We just got our proofs and actual pictures back and just such wonderful work was produced. We are so happy with the turnout! All the pictures were done very professionally and there isn't a single picture I didn't like. They also have a videography service that we are DYING to get our video back from to see everything all over again, but definitely worth the price with bundling the photography and videography together. I chose McMillen photography because of their great package pricing. While searching for photographers, I found it was hard to find one that wasn't over $2,5000 (for a basic package). I was impressed with their prices and what each package provided you. For under $2,000 I was able to get everything I wanted including a CD with reprint rights. My photographer was Jessica and she was awesome. She had such good ideas for pictures. She was willing to hear some of my ideas and even give input to make them better. She kept things running on a timely manner, which was very important. I recently got my pictures developed and got my prints from McMillen and love them! I couldn't be happier with how they turned out.

I could not have wished for a better photography experience. The studio is gorgeous with any set you could possibly dream up. The staff was extremely helpful in picking and customizing the right package to fit all of our needs. On the wedding day, the experienced photographers knew exactly the right areas around town where we'd get the best backdrop for our photos. Everything ran so smoothly and the photos are absolutely gorgeous!!!! I will definitely be using McMillen Photography for all of my future photography needs!!

I chose McMillen Photography after going to many bridal fairs and countless internet searching simply for two reasons: quality and affordability. McMillen Photography has a variety of wedding packages for every budget and almost every package includes a free engagement session which is a great time to meet your wedding photographer and get to know one another a little better.
I'm from the same hometown as Ben (the owner) and through the years I've got to see a lot of his work and have always been impressed. After working with him for our engagement pictures there was no doubt in my mind that we chose the right photographer for our wedding. The whole staff at McMillen Photography is extremely professional and so easy to work with. From Amanda who works at the front desk, to Chelsea who does a lot of the prints and albums, to the photographers themselves; we were very pleased. Everyone at the studio is very patient and really works with you to ensure the final product is exactly what you want.
Weeks leading up to the wedding can be very stressful, however the staff makes you feel at ease and ensures every detail and the "day-of" schedule is according to plan. Our wedding day couldn't have went smoother, the photographers were on time at every location we had asked of them and truly happy to be there. In the end, the final products were amazing and the turn-around time for the photos was extremely fast.
I highly recommend McMillen Photography for all those special times in our lives, and I without a doubt would recommend the studio for your wedding.
