Cozy Wedding!

What an amazing space to have a wedding. We had to move everything inside the octagonal barn (we planned to have most the event outside) and it became the most intimate and wonderful time. The event coordinator was so helpful from start to finish as well as the staff night of. Guests really loved the food and venue! Such a great deal for everything they provide.

A magical wedding

We could not have been happier with the venue and service for our daughter's wedding. From beginning to end, Annie and Alex responded right away to every question and request with patience and kindness. The service team at the wedding was amazing, taking care of our 116 guests with such a positive upbeat vibe. They even happily packaged up all the leftover food for us - a nice bonus! We had to rent an outdoor tent for the ceremony and dinner in the barnyard due to rain, which created an unexpectedly magical ambience. The dance floor in the octagonal barn was hopping all night and the open bar was a big hit :) The final cost was what well within our expectations, no surprise extra charges, and very reasonable compared to other wedding venues.

A beautiful pocket-world, with responsive venue manager!

Celebrating our eight month anniversary! My husband and I were married at McMenamins Cornelius Pass Roadhouse, outside the Octagonal Barn, in June 2023. What I wanted from our wedding was to create a "time out of time," and a space that truly felt like an enchanted world. I was so delighted about how many of our loved ones felt exactly that- like they had stepped into a glen away from contemporary life. That McMenamins manages to pull off this magical effect is so impressive, considering there were two other weddings happening at the same time, and there were many restaurant goers there too. But the shape of the property and landscaping created a sacred and magical container for our guests. I've gotten so many comments that our wedding was the most beautiful they'd ever experienced, and the combination of rustic charm, verdant greenery, and amber faerie lighting defintely created an impression.

So, something goes wrong at every wedding. It's happened at EVERY wedding I've been to, and I was curious about what would happen at mine. But when chaos did erupt, Alex, the venue manager, stepped in immediately and found a solution that worked with everyone (and created some fun and funny memories.) They went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. For that, I would heartily recommend them!

Mcmenamins Cornelius Road House

We loved working with this venue. Keiko was our wedding coordinator and she was a delight to work with. She was so easy to communicate with and always kept us updated month to month as we went along with planning. Due to COVID we had to unfortunately cancel our wedding but our venue was so accommodating with the circumstances.

We can't recommend getting married at McMenamins Cornelius Pass Roadhouse enough! We got married in the octagonal barn and it was exactly like we envisioned. The barn is beautiful and the food and drinks were incredible. It ended up being very affordable and made the wedding planning process so easy. The food, drinks, service, tables, linens are all taken care of in house and they even have a sound system that you can use. The entire property is beautiful and there were so many great places to take photos before our ceremony.

So Amazing

McMenamins made it so easy to have a wedding there. They asked me all the questions I would have asked. The servers were so professional and even ran after my new husband to make sure he got a stamp for his passport. They really went above and beyond my expectations.

Octagonal Barn is an amazing wedding venue

We had our wedding at Cornelius Pass Roadhouse in the Octagonal Barn. It was the only venue we looked at and we knew right away that we wanted to have our wedding there. My husband and I are big fans of McMenamins, especially CPR, the grounds are so beautiful and the feel and ambience there is just perfect. We booked about 10 months in advance for a mid-October wedding. Our event planner was Keiko, and she was wonderful to work with throughout the whole planning process. She had all the answers to our many questions and had lots of helpful suggestions, was patient and easy to talk to. They were very accommodating about a couple of requests we had regarding timing and which hours the bar would be open. On the day of our wedding, all of the tables and things were set up inside the barn prior to us getting access at noon. The barn is very charming and rustic so you do not need many decorations. The McMenamins staff was very helpful and great to work with throughout the evening. It was so great to have the food and bar all coordinated by McMenamins, so much less stress and one of the big reasons we knew we wanted to go with McMenamins as a venue. They also let you and your guests take any leftover food, which we had a ton of left over. There was an issue with billing where we were charged more than expected for the bar, but McMenamins resolved it quickly and professionally. We ended up having about 55 people and were worried that the space in the barn would feel underfilled and sparse, but that was not the case at all - it seemed like a great amount of space for a group of that size - though you could definitely fit lots more.
The only disappointing thing was that between the time we booked, and the time we were finally allowed to lock in our menu choices, the price per head on our menu selection increased by $7 per head. We asked if it was possible to have the original price honored but were told it was not. This caused our total spent on entrees to increase by over $400, which meant we had to cut back on our original plan for appetizers. We also ended up going a couple hundred dollars over on our food/bar minimum, which could have potentially been avoided if we had not had to pay the additional $400+ for the entrees. So that was a bit of a bummer. But overall everything was amazing, they really made our wedding an expertly coordinated and unforgettable experience, and I would absolutely recommend McMenamins/CPR to anyone looking for a charming and beautiful wedding venue.

One stop shop

CPR is the place to go for a wedding! I got so many compliments about how beautiful the venue was. We brought a few finishing touches for decorations, but the Octagonal barn at CPR is basically all you need for a cute reception! Plus the food and bar was amazing!!! Would recommend!

Ideal Intimate Wedding Venue

This venue is perfect for intimate weddings. You get a venue, food, and drink, all included in a single price point. The food is amazing and drinks won't run dry.
The space is intimate and rustic with exceptional acoustics (we ended up doing karaoke and everyone sounded amazing). The process leading up to the event is simple and straight forward. The venue provides everything for a barebones wedding that you can easily embellish for your own needs.
There is a beautiful garden or a trellised walkway that are perfect for photos.
Planning on having kids at your wedding? Large yard games are provided which give both adults and kids a fun activity outside of the toasting and dancing. The venue gives you time for your walk and vows and then gives you 5 hours to party. BUT if you want to party later, you can always move outside of the venue to the restaurant or cigar and whiskey bar on the same property.
This is very much the perfect wedding venue with everything you could possibly need all in one neat package.

My husband and I got married at McMenamins Cornelius Pass Roadhouse, in the Octagonal Barn, and they did an amazing job! We booked our event over a year ahead of time, and they were super helpful in providing information to help us make our decision and assist with the entire planning process. Our original wedding coordinator left two months before our wedding, which added some stress, but they did a great job transitioning us to a different coordinator. We worked with Adam for the last two months, and he was really great. He was dealing with twice the work load, and was new to our wedding, but still answered all our questions and made sure everything was how we wanted it.
The wedding day went perfectly, and all the services McMenamins provided really helped to reduce our stress on the day of. Having a wedding in November is a real gamble with weather, but they were flexible and let us decide indoor vs. outdoors on the day of. Katie was responsible for setting us up, and had set up inside because there was a 50/50 chance of rain. We decided to gamble and move outside and she was very helpful and willing to change things up to give us what we wanted. All of our tables and linens were prepared perfectly upon our arrival. We also rented the house for the day and had boxed lunched provided, and the lunches were amazing! All the food and drinks were orchestrated wonderfully and tasted even better! We had many picky guests (including myself) or dietary restrictions, and McMenamins was very accommodating through everything. The whole day went very smoothly and a lot of that had to do with how well prepared McMenamins was. They are also extremely affordable for all the services they provided. We loved that the food cost came out of what we paid for the space. We were able to buy tons of food without worrying about overspending, and we got to keep the leftovers!
I would not hesitate to recommend McMenamins to anyone; they know how to host an amazing event!

We had our wedding ceremony in the Wedding Grove and the reception in the Octagonal Barn and Barnyard. CPR was very flexible with us as we weren't sure if it was going to rain or not, so we decided the day of where the ceremony was going to be. They were able to accommodate all of our wants and needs last minute, for one example getting a tent last minute just in case it decided to rain. The food was amazing and the servers and bartenders were very friendly and helpful. All of our guests couldn't stop complimenting us on our wedding and the location. Mcmenamin's does everything for you - set-up/tear-down, food, beverages, all wait staff - so it is very easy to have an event there - very stress free. Our wedding could not have been more perfect!

Our wedding at McMenamins Cornelius Pass Roadhouse was amazing. We held our ceremony in their Wedding Grove, and our reception in the Imbrie Meadow. The entire day was amazing! The staff was gracious in helping our guests get from ceremony to reception, and made sure that there was water available for our ceremony (It was sunny and in the 80's). They had lawn games available to rent that were a HUGE hit! The food was amazing. I had heard that one of the odd things about planning a wedding at McMenamins was that you aren't able to taste test the food ahead of time, but I have not seen a bad review of the food provided on the day of the event. This was true for us, our food was amazingly delicious, and they even made arrangements for my vegan bridesmaid. The venue is gorgeous and requires very little in the way of decorations, and the pricing includes so much as part of it. Having our wedding with them was definitely one of the best decisions we made for our special day.

For the folks who are planning a wedding without the stress, this is the venue for you. Our minimalistic goals for our wedding tied in so nicely with the naturally beautiful space that is McMenamins Cornelius Pass Roadhouse. Working with our wedding coordinator there felt like working with a close friend. The food, beverages, and overall experience were everything that we wanted and more. I cannot recommend this venue and their wonderful staff enough.

We had our wedding at the Octagonal Barn and I could not be more happy with how everything turned out. The staff was amazing the day of the event and everything ran smoothly. Leading up to our wedding, Wiley (the sales rep) was AMAZING! I had soooo many questions and was constantly emailing him. He always responded promptly and professionally. McMenamins was a wonderful venue at an affordable price. For what we paid for the entire package which includes the food, event space and an open bar, it was equal to what other venues in the area were charging for the event space alone! The food was delicious (so many options!), the venue was beautiful and everyone loved the beer options too! Only small downside is lack of parking. This place is very popular on a weekend evening anyway - so lots of guests may need to park across the street (thankfully the Fred Meyer across the street allows this). Save money by by having your wedding on a weekday or not in the summer months!

We had a wedding reception at the Octagonal Barn at the Roadhouse. What a great space for a casual, but nice event! The food was terrific and the staff was always attentive and helpful. We had a DJ so the dance floor was nice to have. We had about 65 guests for dinner and dancing - wonderful casual atmosphere in a unique setting! We had many compliments from guests on the venue and the food, etc. Just a great evening!

We had our wedding and reception in the barn. Our tables were set up reception style (round tables fr the ceremony and reception). We had 100 guests and it felt plenty roomy! It was the perfect space. It has a lot of charm on it's own so I didn't feel like I needed a tone of decor to make it beautiful. The staff during the event were very nice and always smiling. there was plenty of room on the dance floor and we used their sound system which was great! In this particular space there was a food and beverage minimum which at the time (December 2016) was $4,000 plus a 21% tip. We did not go over this amount. We only hosted beer and wine, although liquor was available. One thing that is really nice is you don't have to start serving your hosted beverages before the wedding but the wedding party can still go get a drink from the bar and bring it over. I think this helped us stay within our goal.

Love the venue and them!
When looking to book our wedding we both wanted something that was all in 1; Venue, catering, staff, bar, linens and rentals for anything bonus we might want. Our experience previously with McMenamins was just burgers, non coors light and tater tots.
WOW .. they blew us away.
Planning was a breeze, we met a few times and then communicated via email. We were able to view the property at different times of the day to really get a feel for what our special day would be like. The food was amazing!! We hadn't been able to taste any in advance, but our McMenamins Coordinator (Wiley) knew what he was talking about in his suggestions. Meatballs were / are awesome (left overs in freezer). We were allowed to have coors light + their own drafts, wine and cider. That was big for us, might not seem that way but when you have a heavy coors light crowd, you want to make them happy!
Day of the event went very smooth, we had staff in place to support us and they had personality!!
So excited that we were able to have our special day at a venue that we can continue to visit.

This space (we used the Imbrie Meadow) was well worth its value. We were able to have enough space under the tent with our 90 guests to walk around without feelings crowded. The garden space outside the tent was great for the games they had for use to use and allowed for some great photos.

We booked the Imbrie Hall tent for our late October wedding. We planned the wedding in less than four months, and as such this necessitated that our vendors be flexible and accommodating of last minute changes. We were impressed with the professionalism and responsiveness of the staff at CPR, in particular Adam and our catering crew on the day of our wedding. They went above and beyond on several aspects of our rental and this provided us the ease of mind to enjoy our wedding. We got lucky with the weather (and the weather turned bad the very next day) but all of our guests remarked about the excellent food, the grounds, and the catering staff. We researched many venues and found this one to be the best value for our needs. I also appreciate how white chairs, plates, and linens of your color choice are included. My husband remarked how he felt the service provided by the caterers was really caring and professional. Highly recommend giving them a call.

The minimum cost for this venue was the same price as others that offered the venue alone. With McMenamins they include the venue when you spend a minimum amount on food and drink. If that wasn't enough to seal the deal, the venue itself is one of the most beautiful settings we have seen. The moment we stepped onto the property we knew this was the place for us. The octagonal barn was the perfect setting that made our dream wedding come to life. The staff was easy to work with and accommodating to modifications we requested to the menu and table placement (the day of, I might add). A must visit if you're scouting for your wedding!

This Venue is so beautiful and such an amazing value. They provide all of the catering and the set up and take down. It was amazing. The venue is so pretty, you need minimal decorations. I highly recommend this venue for a wedding, no matter what size.

McMenamins really knows how to do weddings. They bundle everything so well that I don't know how anyone gets married anywhere else! CPR is a smaller site, too, so it felt more private than at some of their larger properties. We happened to be the only wedding on site that day, which was great. The coordinators were amazingly responsive leading up to the wedding day, and the staff on the day of were super flexible and helpful while we were setting up our decorations. The bartenders made sure there was never a long line, which our guests loved. It's a beautiful venue too, which makes it hard to imagine going anywhere else. We had pizza as our meal, and it was actually really good - we had lots of guests mention the good food afterward. I would highly recommend this McMenamins venue.

Everything about this place was easy. After we visited the site, booked a date (about a year out), it was easy going. The coordinator checked in every now and then. Whenever I emailed him, he responded within 2 days. The best part was they were super flexible about the dinner menu. To lower the over all price we were able to exchange some of the more expensive items for more basic items - like brats for hot dogs. The original price was going to be $20 per person, with the changes we were able to come down to $17.50 per person. Because we used McMenamins as the venue for the ceremony and reception, it was so easy to get everything organized and taken care of.

We had our ceremony at a separate location, then came to the Octagon barn at McMenamins for our reception. We had 130 guests, and since it was an August wedding, had all the tables for eating dinner outside. It was absolutely beautiful. I simply CANNOT believe that McMenamins provides tables, chairs, linens (which they dress for you) at NO CHARGE. You just have to meet their food and beverage minimum, which is easy to do if you have a wedding of at least 80 there. The prices were fantastic compared to every other place we looked at.

One downside - you don't get to try the food ahead of time. But - the food through their catering is better than the food you get in the restaurant. Everyone thought the food was amazing.

McMenamins provides black banquet chairs at no cost, but we rented nicer looking wood ones to make it dressier. We also brought in additional bistro lights for inside the barn and it looked spectacular!! (Just make sure you have friends and family willing to help decorate - McMenamins does not do this)

I would highly recommend having your reception here, particularly because of the value and the beauty.

We loved this venue! Great value with the food and beverage minimum! One of the best parts of our wedding was the venue. It was cool and yet still really worked for my relatives from all across the country (old and young)! They helped plan and helped us with a few bumps on the big day! Great would definitely recommend.

We had our Ceremony and Reception at the Octagonal Barn. Everything was wonderful. Matt, the sales coordinator, was great and always very fast to respond with any questions that I had. The day of the wedding everything went smoothly, the staff was on top of things and the food was great! Not only that, but it is a great value compared to other venues. I love that so many things are included in the price. I ended up renting chairs because the chairs that come with the venue are U-GLY. But it was nice not to have to worry about renting tables or linens or dishes or anything like that. One thing to keep in mind about this space is that it is a public place, so you will have people walking by pretty much all day. No one bothered us, but if you are a really private person it might be a bit weird.

The staff at McMenamins Cornelius Pass Roadhouse were exceptional. We worked primarily with Matt Sturtevant and got married in the barn yard, with a reception in the historic barn. Not only was the venue PERFECT for a northwest alternative couple, but the natural greenery, rustic feel of the barn, and the ease of working with the staff was just what we needed! This venue was VERY affordable for us and the food and drinks were amazing. And for all of those people who are concerned about pictures, this venue produces a wonderful backdrop for elegant and natural pictures. Just book a year in advance and you should be set!

We had our wedding scheduled for Feb 9th 2014 when Portland experienced Snowmaggeden. Wow, what a stressful time for all the wrong reasons.. Mcmenamins along with all our vendors involved where so accommodating and helpful in rescheduling. We had the BEST day of our life, every single moment was perfect, the venue, the staff, the food, the bar and each other. We are so blessed and would recommend this venue to anyone. People are still chattering about how romantic and amazing our wedding was and the spinach dip was a huge hit! Matt S the coordinator was quick with reply's and honest.

Wow! My husband and I planned our wedding with Mcmenamins in under 2 weeks. I wouldn't recommend such a rushed event, but Matt, Kara, and the rest of the crew at the Cornelius pass roadhouse made the planning a breeze. They were prompt with all my questions and concerns and worked to make the venue and catering unique to us as a couple (including adding infamous Cajun tots). We had countless compliments on the barn and food. The octagonal barn has so much personality but is a blank enough venue that we were able to transform it into something uniquely ours. The catering staff was amazing! So helpful and professional. I seriously cannot compliment this venue and the people that work here enough. They made my wedding day perfect and I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a unique, beautiful place to say I do.

My husband and I are grateful we chose McMenamins Cornelius Pass Roadhouse for our wedding, it was perfect! We originally planned to have the ceremony in the wedding grove and the reception in the barn, but had to move the ceremony inside of the barn due to the weather, which worked out perfectly with our guests seated at their tables. The rustic feel of the barn paired with our many candles and decor made the atmosphere very romantic. We had many compliments from our guests about how beautiful the venue was. We chose the Barnyard Dinner Buffet and I can honestly say the food was outstanding. A direct quote from one of our guests, "You win the award for best wedding food ever!" All of the servers and the bartender were courteous and professional and I also really enjoyed working with Matt Sturtevant throughout the planning process. He was very prompt in answering our questions and provided a lot of helpful information. I will definitely recommend this venue to others!

I cannot stress enough how Kara was an absolutely pleasure to work with. Every email was addressed, her input to my questions were valuable and well-thought out, and she worked with our needs and our vision the best capacity she could. We held our wedding at Imbrie Meadow (and rented the house as well), and even if the weather seemed like it wasn't going to cooperate fully, she coordinated the sidewall rentals, heaters, etc that we possibly would need to keep everyone dry and warm. The venue is absolutely beautiful, and just right for the number of guests we had in mind. I had a number of out of town guests who I could showcase local beer and wine, and it was nice not having to deal with corkage fees at all. The staff was courteous, and the venue is really convenient to our guests and us. Book it!

I loved having my wedding at the Cornelius Pass Roadhouse Octagonal Barn last weekend. The staff was friendly, accommodating, and flexible. There isn't a site fee, just a food and beverage minimum. The Barn is gorgeous (I got so many compliments on the venue!), and the food was delicious. It was so nice to only have to coordinate with one vendor for venue, food, drinks, tables, chairs, linens, and dishes. And that's all included in the cost of the venue rental! McMenamin's even worked with us to get a group picture of our entire party out on the front lawn. They were really flexible with last minute changes, and helpful in telling me exactly what I needed to do so I wasn't wasting my time on unnecessary things. Kara (the event coordinator we worked with) was also extremely helpful in offering suggestions which helped make the event run more smoothly. Thank you, thank you for a beautiful wedding!

Matt was wonderful to work with and also really easy to get in contact with. His urgency to help and quick responses was helpful during the planning stages. Excellent value and beautiful location. The only downside was the parking issue because parking is limited and weekends are packed. We were notified of this in the beginning though and able to direct our guests to other parking options but wish there was more space overall for parking. The food was wonderful, the wine was great, and the beer was even better. I highly recommend this location for any event.

McMenamins Cornelius Pass Roadhouse was absolutely perfect. There are multiple options for venues on site, each with a food and beverage minimum (so the space itself does not cost anything additional!), and each is absolutely beautiful. We chose the barn, with the ceremony outside and the reception inside. Matt Sturtevant, the Sales Coordinator, was phenomenal - patient, responsive, flexible, and precise. The food was delicious (we did breakfast for dinner), the barn is a great blank slate for any decorations you could want (even very few - it is beautiful on its own), and they work very well with outside venues. When you plan a wedding you build it up in your head over months and months of planning...typically when you build something up like that, there is no way it can meet your expectations. But my wedding was perfection and much of that was because of the hard work and dedication of the Cornelius Pass Roadhouse staff and the beautiful space.

What an incredible place to get married, we really could not have asked for more. For having only 6 months to plan, and coming from across state lines, we were blown away by how easy the CPR team was to work with.
Onsite contact/ Sales Coordinator: Matt was such a kind and generous person to work with, consistently prompt in his responses to my inquiries. Definitely organized, and knowledgeable.
Location: Our ceremony took place in the wedding grove followed by a reception in the barn. Every guest had numerous compliments about the location and ambiance. The trees were beautiful, lush, and provided a sound barrier from the street traffic as Matt had promised. The grove was so lovely that we did not feel the need to add any additional decorations. The barn was decorated to our hearts’ content accented by the antiqued walls.
Another plus, CPR has such a large selection of linens to choose from. Also went with Matt’s recommendation on eating in the courtyard area outside of the barn which kept everyone cool in the shade on a 90 degree Portland evening. The bathrooms were also close by, very clean, easily accessible for young and old. Another highlight, there are plenty of places onsite to get many lovely pictures.
Food and drinks: Yum, yum, yum. We had thai chicken for the meat eaters and portobello mushrooms for the vegetarians. It was delicious, plentiful and once again every guest was very happy. Being able to choose several of our favorite McMenamins beers to have on tap in the barn was great.
Day of event staff: Talk about a group of warm and pleasant people. We had to add a few tables that day for additional dessert and photobooth set up, no problem, they were on it. Food, beer and wine service? Excellent and so attentive!
LGBTQ: We are a lesbian couple. If you are part of our community and want to get married in a place where you feel invited and welcomed, please get married here. It was truly the perfect day <3

Our ceremony was outside the Octagonal Barn in the barnyard and the reception was both outside and inside the barn. We had so many compliments on choosing this venue for our ceremony and reception. The staff working during our event was so friendly and very professional. They wrapped up all the leftover food and cake. At the end of the reception I was given a few bottles of wine to meet our food and beverage minimum, which was great because I was able to give those as thank you gifts to friends and family who were helping clean up. Matt, our event coordinator, was very helpful and always prompt in answering our questions. I would recommend this venue for anyone looking for a venue with a casual and rustic atmosphere.

Cornelius Pass Roadhouse (CPR) was fabulous. From the initial inquiry to the dozens of emails in correspondence, to small changes made on THE big day, CPR was working for me the entire time. The grounds were immaculate, staff was friendly and relaxed to work with. Everyone was flexible and always accommodating throughout the entire process. The food was really good as well and their desserts were amazing :). It is the only public, rustic barn in the Portland area and is close to PDX. The barn was very comfortable for our 75 guests with plenty of dance space and room to walk around and mingle. The hotel that our guests stayed at had a shuttle to and from CPR as well which was convenient.

FANTASTIC VENUE!

Matt, our sales coordinator was wonderful and an absolute pleasure to work with. He always answered our questions promptly, and worked with us on the many different ideas that we had to make our event personal and fun. Communication was excellent and we always felt at ease that everything would be coordinated and taken care of. While many aspects of a McMenamins wedding are DIY, Matt and the staff went above and beyond our expectations for helping coordinate and plan our day’s events.

The Octagonal Barn was a beautiful setting and perfect for our theme; it is very rustic and charming on its own and required little decoration. The Barn offered the perfect space for the ceremony, dinner reception, and dance floor for our smaller size group (66).

We had impeccable service during the event; everything went very smoothly, timely, and without any glitches. The staff was available when we needed them, but were not noticeable or disruptive during any part of the evening. The staff did a fantastic job with the set-up, service throughout the event, and breakdown of the evening. All of our requests were met and they were also very fun and friendly!

The Granery dinner buffet was lovely and a big hit among the guests. We had plenty of food and the quality was good. The drink service was excellent; we had our own wine and champagne to use and the beer on tap was top notch. The service for the toast was excellent and ready when we needed it; the staff even saved our corks for us by request. The staff also did a wonderful job with the cake cutting service, slices were a good size and readily available for the guests.

I would highly recommend a McMenamins wedding for those looking for a casual and laid back environment, just be sure and book early as the dates fill up quickly. The value of the services, venue, food, and drink were superb and easy on the budget with no hidden costs or surprises.

We had our ceremony and reception in the Octagonal Barn at McMenamins. The barn is amazing and the setting was perfect for our vibe/theme. Matt, our sales coordinator, was so helpful and super chill. He is the best! He helped keep us stress free when making our plans and was always super responsive to any silly questions we had. McMenamins was also really flexible and allowed us to use the Roadhouse to get ready in beforehand so we basically took over the property with our little wedding of about 60 guests. The ambiance at Cornelius Pass is awesome and the food was delicious (we got the BBQ buffet option) as well as the beer & wine. It was so easy having everything taken care of in one spot and the pricing is very reasonable for the excellent service they provide. Every one of the staff was friendly and accomodating and we are so thankful we chose McMenamins as our venue.

We got married at their Imbrie Meadow location and rented the Roadhouse to get pretty in and it was incredible! The site is so gorgeous and there was a lot of room for us and our guests (about 60 people). Our main site coordinator Kara was great to work with and was very flexible in what we were wanting to accomplish. The food provided was great and the beer amazing as always. The site is so beautiful and our photographer really enjoyed getting to capture not just our individual location but all of the great sites that Cornelius Pass has to offer. You will not regret having any event here, least of all weddings :)

Great place for an event! Having food, alcohol, venue, linens, tables, bathrooms etc. all provided by one vendor made a significant difference in planning complexity. They were straightforward with all pricing before we signed with them and didn't try to upsell later. (They did offer to provide a canopy in case of rain for an additional charge, but I knew I was booking an outdoor venue before we signed with them.)

McMenamins has great beer. Looking at the bill at the end of the night, I was surprised to see that about half the beers ordered were Coors Light. I guess out of town guests wanted to go with what they know.

McMenamins wine is decent. You could get better wine by shopping at the local wineries and the corkage fee wasn't bad. Unless you are real wine fans, the extra effort of going to the local wineries probably isn't worth it. (And if you are a wine fan, a day of visiting wineries won't seem like a chore.)

We got married in the Octagonal Barn in September of 2011 and had an exceptional experience with all aspects of the wedding and reception.

Lindsey, our sales coordinator, was incredible! She was so knowledgeable and always immediately responsive to our questions and changes. Our wedding would have been a completely different event without her help and insight.

The barn was perfect. All of our guests were impressed by the beauty and accommodation of the space. And the grounds were exceptional. All the gardens are luxurious and are a perfect setting to make the place feel intimate and secluded - even while other events were taking place around. And all the texture and color was a GREAT backdrop for our photographs.

The service was seamless. I was thrilled by the accessibility of the bar (no long lines) and the invisibility but availability of the staff. Everything went smoothly. And, on top of that, everyone was SO NICE - cheerful and seemingly in the same celebratory mood as our guests! It made everything just that much nicer. I've received many compliments on the buffet; everything was very well prepared and delicious. And the open bar was a hit.

Having both our ceremony and reception in the barn was perfect. I worked with Lindsey for a year on planning our day and she was fantastic! Always quick to respond to my millions of questions and always worked to make sure everything was as we wanted. We had a perfect day. All of the staff and servers were great to work with and the food was excellent as well. Would highly recommend the Roadhouse!

CPR was everything we wanted and more! As a bride, it was important for me to spend as little time planning as possible. McMenamins offer an "all in one" type of deal. From the food, to drinks, to service, everything was excellent! Our on site coordinator left the company mid-planning but things continued on smoothly with a new coordinator. For a late September wedding, the site was lush and beautiful, leaving very little need for decor. One complaint is that space heaters were not discussed ahead of time. Some of our guests got too cold after dinner and had to leave. We had our ceremony in the grove and reception in the tent.

This place rocked!!!! Our wedding was amazing!!! The staff was so friendly and so helpful!! We even had a DJ, piano, and 3 other musicians, and they accommodated all of it perfectly! We used the Wedding Grove and the Orchard for our venue and it was so beautiful, they even had lights hanging on the trees. The food was great and we got to sample the beer and wine for free before we picked it. I just can't way enough good stuff! Everyone should have there wedding at McMenamins!!!

My husband and I are big fans of McMenamin's and knew as soon as we saw the barn that it was ideal.
Kara and Matt worked with us to make sure everything was perfect and when I was diagnosed with Celiac's a month out, Kara worked with the caterer to make sure I'd have enough Gluten Free options.
Because we chose to have an open bar, it did get a little expensive, but that was our choice and something we figured was worth it. McMenamin's liquor is expensive but very truly impressive.
We could not have been happier with the venue!

McMenamins Cornelius Pass Roadhouse staff was great to work with. They worked with us to make the day perfect and were very responsive to us and our needs. They were willing to work with all of our family members that were involved in the planning process and were very patient. We are so happy we chose to work with them and use their beautiful venue!

wow, where to start. Firstly our coordinator Matt was Outstanding. I can only imagine how many emails he gets, with the same questions he has to answer in the same ways everyday and yet he always so prompt, kind and helpful. He made planning the reception and ceremony an absolute joy. He never missed a step.

The grounds at the Cornelius Pass Roadhouse are breathtaking. We did our ceremony in the wedding Grove and our reception in the 100 year old Octagonal barn and our guests were so inspired by the beauty and energy of both of those spaces. Can you really go wrong when you're wedding venue smells like trees?

We served hors D'oeuvres and a taco buffet with an open wine and beer bar and although I didn't have a chance to taste an hors D'oeuvres the taco buffet was delicious and we also had many compliments on that as well.

The value of the space and food and drink were unbeatable. I truly admire the McMenamins brothers for what they've created in Oregon.

Would I recommend this vendor to a friend? 1000% yes.

We got married in the Octagonal barn and it was great! The staff was amazing and the food was great. I worked with Meghan and she was really great, I probably sent her 20 emails with questions and she always e-mailed me back promptly and answered all my questions. I knew they would take care of everything and I didn't need to stress about it.. It was wonderful.

Whenever we had a question I asked the coordinator and she got back to us so quickly! I was really happy with my experience. We chose to get married in the octagonal barn which really spoke for itself. It made decorating really easy.

We had our ceremony in the Wedding Grove and reception in the Octogonal Barn & courtyard. Adam was our coordinator and the whole planning process was very smooth. He was very helpful with suggestions and gave his honest opinion. McMenamins is a great value for what is included and the convenience factor.. you don't have to worry about hiring a separate bar staff, tableware, set up/take down, etc. They were very flexible when it came to the menu; we had to modify a lot of items due to dietary restrictions. The bar selections were also great- we ended up going with a hosted cocktail hour with our signature drinks and then hosted beer/wine for the rest of the night with liquor available for purchase. There were many options you could go with. The food was great and our guests really enjoyed it. We also got to take home the leftover food & wine which was nice.

Overall Cornelius Pass Roadhouse was a wonderful choice for our wedding. The value is great and the list of outside vendors (dj and offciant) was really helpful. We got so many compliments on the venue and food. The only down side was it did take them a few days (3-4 days) to return emails, but the staff was great at answering all my questions.

I had an absolutely beautiful wedding, and that was in large part due to the gorgeous venue and great staff at the Cornelius Pass Roadhouse. From the beginning Adam was a wonderful event manager, and got back to me quickly. He was eager to help, as was the other event staff (especially as we neared the big day). On the day-of, there were a few issues, but Adam was happy to hear our concerns and ensure that they will not happen again. As it is a Mcmenamins, the food was very nice. We went with a plated option, but they also have a wide selection of buffets. My wedding was in the Octagonal Barn, and I cannot imagine a better venue. Their prices are a food-beverage minimum, which means if you spend x amount of dollars on food and drinks, you basically get your venue for free.

We had 200 guests, and were able to feed all of them, provide a cash bar at this beautiful rustic venue which hosted both our ceremony and reception. This great venue set the stage for the greatest day of our life and we would recommend this venue to any couple on a budget who don't want to cut their guest list as a way of cutting cost.

Great venue. People were very easy to work with, super easy going. Always quick to answer all my questions and help out. Also, loved not havng to coordinate vendors, as Mcmenamins does food/lines/servers/bar/food/table, chairs) Only reason for 4/5 on "value" is the high price of their wine, way more than I wanted to pay, and the high gratuity you have to pay. Other than that, it was an absolutely prefect place for our wedding.

By booking this venue you can get a lot checked off your list. Food, beverages, linens, service, all in one place was great. I knew the beer was going to be awesome but I had my doubts about the food. To my surprise it was fantastic! Service was prompt and plentiful.

I planned our wedding from Texas and Matt S was AMAZING. He was prompt to answer my tedious e-mail questions and I was very happy with the level of service he provided. He was also very down to earth and didn't try to push unnecessary sales because he just understood that we were doing our wedding on a pretty tight budget.

My only complaint is that we were told to order way more food than we needed. When you use their venue you have to meet a food and beverage minimum. I strongly suggest putting more towards your bar and less towards your food even though you'll be pressured to do the opposite. Our bar tab ran out within about an hour ($1000) so we extended it another $500, while we had TONS of food left over - we had done sandwiches and sides. It was delicious but way too much food which left my mom with a ton of leftovers to take home.

Very nice spot for ceremony and reception. Everything done very well though the vegetarian dish left a lot to be desired. I think the chef needs to be more imaginative with the veggies. Tasty enough just boring! Extremely good value and everyone had a wonderful time.

McMenamins Cornelius Pass is an AWESOME place for a wedding... the grounds are beautiful, the staff is so nice to work with and it's great because they take care of all the catering and any event rentals that are needed. We were really happy with how everything turned out.

McMenamin's is your one stop shop for all things wedding event related! I know that sounds like hyperbole, but it's true. It is one place that acts as a beautiful ceremony venue and a reception location. They do their own food and drink catering, and there is an event coordinator you work with who is very professional and experienced. They host wedding all the time and they really know what they're doing there. It is affordable, it is a great venue, and it was overall amazingly fun. I highly recommend the Roadhouse for your wedding, or big event.

Everything was as perfect and easy as a person could ask for. The food was great, the venue was beautiful, everything was ready everything worked perfectly.

I had always wanted to get married in the Gorge, but after looking into venues I realized a) nothing was in our price range that I like or b) it was in our price range, but we would have to coordinate rental equipment, catering, bartenders, etc. Who wants to deal with all that? Wedding planning is stressful enough keep it simple. McMenamin's was so easy to work with great food and drink, and a beautiful venue. I wouldn't change any part of our wedding, especially the venue.

We got married at CPR almost three years ago, in the Octagonal Barn and courtyard. The venue is GORGEOUS, and perfectly rustic. The food was great, drinks were flowing, and everyone seemed to have a wonderful time.

As with most McMenamins locations, the staff at Cornelius Pass Roadhouse were a joy to work with. With planning help from Wiley and day-of assistance from Lisa, we were able to provide out guests with a very special evening. The food was delicious and the atmosphere provided by the octagonal barn and barnyard made the night feel truly special. Great place to have a casual, fun party!

McMenamins is great for weddings. Everything we needed, asked for and wanted to do was OK'd and easy. The space was beautiful, required little decoration and our contact, Matt was very helpful. The food was great, though the salmon was a little dry, the beer and wine were flowing and the day was perfect. If I get married again...;) i will do it at McMenimens in a heartbeat. They did everything to make it easy, fun, beautiful and perfect.

We had our ceremony and reception at the Octagonal Barn at the Mcmenamins Cornelius Pass Roadhouse! The venue is amazingly beautiful, and the behind the scenes staff was wonderful. I worked directly with Kara, and she was absolutely lovely to deal with. She was knowledgeable, friendly and always responded to emails and phone calls within a day or two. We were absolutely pleased with the whole staff, except one bartender who tried to regulate our guests alcohol consumption beginning with drink number 1! In fact, the only complaint I heard about from our guests was in regards to this one bartender. Needless to say, he did not put a damper on the fun! I would still highly recommend this venue!

This venue is great, especially for an outside wedding. The way they sell beer is strange (you have to buy by the pitcher...). I have also attended many weddings here and always have had a great time. They are definetly more attentive to wedding parties than they are when you dine at the restaurant.
