Just from the photographs we knew the Mckinney Flour Mill is what we wanted. We were blown away by their photographs that showed many beautiful aspects of the design of the venue. When we were touring venues, the Flour Mill was the first place that came to mind and in the end, the only one that stuck. I can truly say we were blown away by the beauty of every aspect of the venue. As soon as we finished the tour we knew it was the place where we wanted to get married. It has the perfect blend of industrial and rustic feel that really shows up in our wedding photos. We wanted the evening to have a candlelit feel and we were able to easily do that and everything turned out breathtakingly beautiful. It has a large venue feel without being a large venue that helped make our wedding feel cozy and not overcrowded.
To top it off, the venue has an entire room full of accessories for rent that made it so much easier to decorate. When the day came, we simply picked the items out of the rental room that we wanted to decorate with, and set everything out. The only thing we needed to make the venue perfect was flowers.
As for Bliss Coordination Events, I could go on for days about how awesome Andrea was throughout the entire process for our wedding. From being open to our ideas to allowing us the freedom to do what we wanted for our wedding, she helped guide us through the entire process. She made sure that the day of, no one from the wedding party or family had to run around making sure everything came together. With Andrea’s help, we could focus on our wedding and enjoying the day.
Every little touch Andrea added to our day, from making sure the schedule was followed to giving us a few minutes to be alone as husband and wife. I cannot speak highly enough about her attention to detail, her courteousness, her leadership, and her professionalism throughout our entire process from day one to wedding day -- it truly made the difference.

The Flour Mill was perfect for my bridal portraits and wedding reception!! We received so many compliments from family and friends about the beauty and history of the building!! Not only is this building breathtakingly, gorgeous, but Andrea went above and beyond what we ever expected. She was always so calm and caring even when I was having "crazy bride moments" and responded very quickly to my emails. She let us see the venue multiple times bringing different people and even let us set up the day before the reception because it wasn't booked! This helped us so much on the wedding day by being one less thing to worry about and we were able to enjoy the day even more! One of the reasons we chose the Flour Mill is because of how up front Andrea is with her pricing. What you see on the website is the true pricing - no submit an inquiry for pricing!

I cannot say enough about how wonderful my experience at the Flour Mill was. I walked in an instantly knew that this was where I would be getting married and from that moment on, I felt nothing but support from Andrea.

We chose to use Andrea as our coordinator and it was the best decision we could have made. She checked on me several times throughout the planning process and when it came down to about 2 months before the big day she really took over and made sure that I was getting things checked off my list. The day before and the day of my wedding were the absolute best they could have been. Andrea made our experience as easy and flawless as we ever could have hoped for.

The best thing about the Flour Mill (other than Andrea) is the show room...this is a room that contains every single thing that you could possibly need to decorate for your wedding. We got to go into the room the day before our wedding because there was not an event booked and really enjoyed making selections and decorating at our leisure. I never imagined that my wedding planning would be this stress free but not having to worry about 15 centerpieces was the biggest blessing!

Our guests raved about our wedding and how beautiful it was and how unique the venue was. Our pictures turned out beautiful and we had the best day of our lives!

We had both our wedding and reception at Flour Mill and absolutely LOVED it.. for SO many reasons.

First off, Andrea Johnson is a saint. She is the venue manager and offers month-of coordination services (best money I've ever spent), but does so much more than that. She made sure our wedding went smoothly, gave input on decor, was accessible when I had questions, and went above and beyond on coordination.. all while being calm, warm, and welcoming. I cannot imagine having a better coordinator - she was my friend and close confidant during the entire process.

PLUS, the venue is gorgeous, stunning, beautiful. I've been told by multiple guests that Flour Mill was the most warm, beautiful, and unique yet intimate wedding venue they'd ever been to. It's turnkey - Andrea has two huge closets filled with decor that you can have access to, BYOB, and the space is easy to do anything in. It's so gorgeous that it barely needs decorating. It's close to McKinney Square so it's great for out of town guests. My absolutely favorite part is the string lights and exposed brick/wood.. when we walked in, we immediately knew it was the place we wanted to get married.

Could not ask for a better venue and Andrea is the absolute best!!

This venue is incredible-we were able to have our dream wedding here and received so many compliments. We were able to rent all of our decor from their showroom at a very reasonable price. They also offer coordination services through Bliss Coordination. Hands down the BEST money we spent out of everything for the wedding! Shelley is the most wonderful person and she made our day absolutely perfect! She was able to give us advice and recommendations on vendors during the planning process and relieve a lot of the planning stress. She is so responsive and accommodating. Our day went so smoothly thanks to her. If there were any hiccups she made sure they were resolved so I could enjoy my day. I would highly recommend, absolutely worth the money.

Shelley helped us find many of our vendors, one of my favorites was our videographer- Samuel Turner Video. He is affordable and will make sure you absolutely love your video before he passes it off. Our photographer said it was one of the best videos she has ever seen. I was so worried about the camera crew getting in our way during the day, but Sam and his crew were able to capture the best moments without interfering. SO impressed!

The Flour Mill was the perfect setting for our wedding! A bit of industrial with a touch of rustic and completely romantic, it was absolutely perfect!! We rented both the White Billows and the Marketplace rooms for our day. Loved Andrea and Shelley, they were both so easy and wonderful to work with! Seriously loved EVERYTHING about the venue, my dreams definitely came true on our wedding day!!

I love working with Andrea at the Flour Mill. She is organized, responsible and yet still easy going. She simplifies the planning process and works with you to create your dream day. I can't say enough about her services and the venue itself!

My first recommendation would be to hire Andrea as your coordinator. She is wonderful and made sure everything ran smoothly on the big day! My mom and I were able to relax and just enjoy the experience. And I got rave reviews from wedding guests on the venue. They loved the historic charm. There is so much for the guests to look at and experience just from the venue itself. I was so happy with my choice, and you will be too!

If you are looking to do a downtown McKinney wedding, then the Flour Mill is the place to go! I worked mainly with Andrea and she is very friendly and promptly replies to emails. I rented out the Marketplace hall and it was perfect. It has a large room, with a separate room where you can set up a food buffet and an alcove that is perfect for a photo booth. If you go to their website, you will see the pictures and it is absolutely stunning. One of the great things about this venue is that each hall has an entire closet of decorations that you can rent for your wedding and/or reception. The decorations were fun, funky, and really added to the reception hall and all you have to do is put them back in the closet at the end of the night. I highly recommend the Flour Mill for your wedding and/or reception location!

We had both our ceremony and reception in the White Billows room at the Flour Mill. It was a perfect size for our wedding of ~100 guests with the hall area working well as the cocktail location during the room flip. We also used Andrea Johnson as our day of coordinator. She was wonderful! The venue was beautiful and all of our guests loved it! Another great thing about the Flour Mill is that they allow couples to select their own caterers (not from a limited list) and supply their own bartender and alcohol. This gives couples so much flexibility!

I cannot say enough about the McKinney Flour Mill and Andrea Johnson. Andrea helped to make our daughter's wedding day perfect. She was the best decision we made for the whole wedding...hiring her for the day of coordinator. She was so helpful in our choosing our vendors and helped us make great decisions there too. The Flour Mill is so unique and rustic and all the accessories that are available to use (for a fee) were just perfect to set the tone for my daughter's wedding. Andrea was a blessing. I felt like a guest at my own daughter's wedding. I didn't have to worry about one single thing ..... Andrea took care of everything. We are so happy that we picked the Flour Mill for our daughter's wedding. Our guests all loved the building and the venue. Everything was just perfect!!!! Thank you Andrea and thank you McKinney Flour Mil. We highly recommend this venue!!

Our wedding at The Flour Mill in McKinney was the wedding of our dreams. Andrea was easy to work with and quick to reply to emails. The venue itself is historic and has a lot of character, which is why we chose it. We had a lot of international guests and wanted to give them a Texas feel. The lighting is also one of my favorite features. Love those hanging lights and the lit backdrop! It looked really nice in photos. McKinney square and The Grand Hotel were great compliments to the venue. Our guests loved the hotel and its proximity to the Flour Mill.

The only issue we had with the venue is when asking about some technical aspects of the building. Our band required a certain power setup and no one at the venue could tell us if they definitely met the qualifications. The best answer we got is that it shouldn't be a problem, which doesn't seem like enough when you're about to drop $5k on a band that may or may not be able to play that venue! It did work out in the end, but it was a little frustrating at the time.

I cannot say enough good things about the McKinney Flour Mill! It is a GORGEOUS venue and the staff are so responsive and amazing to work with! Everyone absolutely loved the venue and it really set the tone for the wedding. Everything was set up and ready when we arrived and was perfect. They even made sure to add extra lights on the patio so our guests could take a break from dancing to enjoy the cooler weather.

The venue is one of the biggest expenses of a wedding and the McKinney Flour Mill was worth every penny! It is the perfect blend of rustic and chic and worked great for both our ceremony and reception. We definitely shopped around as there are many options in the DFW area but we are so thankful that we went with the Flour Mill and cannot recommend it highly enough!

We got married at The Flour Mill in McKinney on New Years Eve 12-31-15 - it was by far one of the best venues we visited throughout our wedding process as well as what comes with the venue. We wanted a industrial chic wedding, with all the glamour but we wanted to get more bang for our buck. The Flour Mill has amazing prices, and allows you to bring in any vendor rather than preferred vendors- this helped us tremendously with the cost of catering. We had Chick-Fil-A cater our wedding and it was amazing. Andrea was so wonderful to work with, she was available when any question needed to be answered, and even helped during our ceremony. The venue is gorgeous, exposed ceilings, exposed brick & so much more. We would highly recommend this venue to anyone, plus the Sheraton McKinney is .3 miles down the road for guests! We got our " NYE Dallas" wedding & so much more.

The Flour Mill was fantastic!! Andrea kept my head on my shoulders this entire process. She has weddings down! I hired her to do month of coordination as well and she was wonderful as a vendor liason. She even helped me stand up when a vendor was giving me the runaround and then started putting together a look I didn't want. Her patience is infinite! The venue itself is gorgeous and wonderfully accommodating. We felt very taken care of. She made sure we had anything we needed before we even asked for it. She made sure we ate in a private room and had glasses of water and champagne stationed around the room for me! We got lots of compliments on it, and all my friends think I'm really cool now because I had my reception at such a place, which let's be honest is 80% of the reason to pick a venue.

The Flour Mill was the perfect place for our wedding. They were very accommodating and went above and beyond to make the day go smoothly. Everything turned out beautifully and I would recommend this venue 100%.

I love this venue space. It is industrial, rustic, urban and just what we had envisioned when we started planning our wedding. Our contact person has been Andrea, and she is wonderful. She is very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. She is responsive and friendly. This is a great venue if you are looking to keep your event small and intimate.

We looked at several venues in the Dallas area but the Flour Mill had the perfect combination of rustic and elegance I was looking for our wedding day. The Flour Mill had the perfect backdrop for our wedding with its cafe lights strung in each building, beautiful chandeliers, elegant doors, and the rustic chic vibe of the older building. We did not have to do much decoration either which helped with our tight budget. We used both buildings the White Billows for our ceremony and the Marketplace for our reception. We had 190 guests and they fit comfortably in both buildings. The Flour Mill was a great place to have our wedding. They allow you to have the building all day to decorate and get ready. They do not require you to use certain vendors which helps on a tight budget. We were able to use a catering company where we could purchase our own alcohol which saves a lot. I know the price has increased some since we booked it back in January 2014 but I believe it is still worth every penny.

The event coordinator, Andrea Johnson, is a joy to work with. We hired her for our day of coordination and she was a life saver. She made our day of schedule for us and contacted all our vendors weeks before our wedding to make sure everyone was on the same page. She did a great job coordinating our large bridal party for our rehearsal. She set up all our decorations the day of our wedding and made sure everything looked perfect for us. We had a problem with one of our vendors day of and she quickly took care of it for us. She also made great suggestions like having my groom and I eat dinner in a private room so we could have time together and actually eat. We had such an amazing wedding day, thanks to Andrea!

I would highly recommend the Flour Mill to anyone wanting a rustic and elegant wedding. It was perfect for us!

I couldn't possibly be more thrilled with our choice of venue!!! Not only is the space (in both buildings) beautiful, but the Flour Mill has Andrea on their side!!! :D Andrea was great from day one! As busy as she is, she manages to keep up with emails and stay on top of everything. She was readily available for an impromptu visit from myself or family that wanted to see the venue at any given time. She made me and my now husband feel incredibly comfortable with the whole process. We used Andrea for our day of coordination as well, and the whole day was amazing from start to finish. Andrea had a timeline and made sure we stuck to it! The night really went too fast, and without her help there is NO way we would have gotten to do everything! If there was a problem, we didn't know about it at all...in our eyes the entire day was perfection! We cannot thank Andrea enough for all of her hard work, not only for us, but for all of the other events she's working on as well!! Go with the Flour Mill AND with Andrea, you will not be disappointed!!!

After looking all over the DFW metroplex, we decided to have our wedding reception at the Flour Mill and could not be more happy with our decision. Our reception was beautiful and perfect! Andrea was great to work with and very accommodating to all of my requests and very responsive to all of my emails, texts, phone calls, etc. She helped me make several informed decisions and was very patient with my indecisiveness! There was not a wedding the day before ours so Andrea let us into the building that day to decorate which was an enormous help and alleviated some stress for us! The Flour Mill is a gorgeous venue and our guests were stunned with how neat of a place it was to have a wedding reception.

Amazing venue! We used both buildings and it was able to handle everything we needed. It's very unique and you can make it into whatever you want.

I can't say enough good things about this venue. Andrea is a joy to work with. She was kind, accommodating, and overall very easy to work it. The venue itself is just beautiful and had the perfect rustic yet chic vibe that I was wanting for my NYE wedding. I had my reception in the larger room called White Billows and we were able to accommodate approx 230 guests. We were a little worried that space might be tight but we made it work! We also had a live band and a large dance floor. My wedding was everything me and my husband dreamed of and more! I couldn't have picked a more perfect venue for our reception. A huge thank you to Andrea for all she did to make our day perfect!

Our wedding at the Flour Mill couldn't have been more perfect. Andrea was incredibly helpful, flexible, and all around amazing. The Mill is stunning, and needs very little decor. The space really stand on its own.

We hired Andrea as our Day of Coordinator, and that may have been the best decision we made through the entire planning process. She was so on the ball with everything. She gently guided my new husband and me to where we needed to be, and ensured that we followed our timeline. The guests loved her, and commented about how great she was. Knowing what I know now, I would have my wedding here again, no hesitation!

Having our wedding reception at the Flour Mill was the best decision we made in the wedding planning process.
1. Working with Andrea Johnson, the event coordinator, is a dream come true. She is familiar with local vendors, has great ideas, and can assist in staying on budget. (We also obtained Andrea's personal wedding planning services "Bliss Events" for more extensive help). She greatly assisted with helping me to make my vision come to life. Brides can rest easy knowing Andrea is in charge and handling affairs.

2. Great value. We held our reception in the Marketplace Hall, the larger event space on the premises. The cost to reserve the space was less than even other smaller venues. Marketplace Hall is a perfect canvas. I was looking for something rustic-like, but not as much as the nearby Cotton Mill. The other event space on location is floor to ceiling brick walls with wood beams, whereas Marketplace has finished walls with wood floors and beams. It was the perfect compromise for my husband, who didn't want it to feel too industrial.

3. Location. We held our whole wedding weekend exclusively in Historic McKinney. It's close enough to the Grand Hotel, as well as possible ceremony sites if necessary.

4. Decor. I originally had no clue what to do to bring in decor to my idea/theme. Luckily, the Flour Mill has an on-site decor room and decor package for brides to choose from. You can rent items by the piece, or, as we did, pay a flat fee for unlimited access to choose decor items. This made cleanup after the event a piece of cake. Everything was simply brought back into the storage room where it came from. We didn't have to go out searching for items or buying online and lugging it everywhere. And after it was over I wasn't left wondering what to do with 20 vintage teapots in my new home.

In sum, I would highly recommend the Flour Mill for the budget bride who still wants a "pinterest-worthy" wedding.

Andrea and Shelley from the Flour Mill were awesome! We just had our wedding there on 9/13/14, and everything was perfect. This venue is beautiful and just the rustic, yet elegant look we were going for. The bridal suite is beautiful and charming with plenty of mirrors and space to get ready. I worked with Andrea throughout our engagement, and she was always so calm and sweet. She definitely took a lot of the pressure away from wedding planning. Plus, she thought of everything- even things I wouldn't have thought of, and she made sure every little thing was taken care of (down to the caterers bringing ice!). Shelley was the coordinator for the rehearsal and ceremony/reception, and she helped everything flow perfectly! She was organized, calm, and so nice, and she worked great with our DJ to help things move along just like we desired. Our wedding was even better than we’d hoped, and this beautiful venue and the help of Andrea and Shelley were huge factors in that (not to mention the really great photo opportunities for bridal party pictures!). We have ZERO complaints and are so thankful we ended up going with the Flour Mill for our wedding.

The venue was wonderful! We got married on a Saturday (during a busy wedding month) so we paid a little more. But, it was worth every penny.
They had the placed cleaned (from a wedding the night before) we were able to start decorating at 9:00 a.m. and we used the entire space inside and outside for dancing, buffet, photo-booth, and games.
Well worth the money - Andrea the event coordinator is amazing! I can't say enough about the venue and Andrea!

This venue was absolutely amazing and so easy to work with. We had our entire wedding at the Flour Mill for about 190 people. (We had our ceremony in White Billows and our reception in the Marketplace.) I have received so many compliments from people about how much they loved the Flour Mill. The pictures look amazing...but the pictures don't actually do it justice!

Andrea was a dream to work with. I worked with her for the month of coordination and it was probably the best money I spent!!! She always responded to my emails and answered any questions I had right away. She set up the timeline the entire day of my wedding and she was there with us the entire night of the wedding. Andrea also had the fabulous idea of my husband and I having a private dinner during the reception. She had it set up that after we had our first dance as Mr. & Mrs., we were hidden away in the bridal suite where she had set us up a private dinner for just us two and our guests didn't even know we were gone! Such a smart idea and it was so good for us to spend time together since we hadn't seen each other all day!

Since there wasn't an event the night before our wedding, Andrea let us in the day before the wedding to start setting stuff up which was a huge help! The venue was open all the day the day of the wedding for us to set up as well. (We looked at some venues that only let you in 2 hours before the ceremony began!) The Flour Mill let us bring our own alcohol and choose our own caterer which was big bonus points. We saved so much money by doing that. The Flour Mill also has a lot of little decorations in a showroom that you can rent(very very cheaply) to add some details.

I can't tell you how happy I am that we got married here...it was absolutely perfect!

We just had our reception at the Flour Mill this past weekend. It was wonderful. It is a beautiful blend of vintage, industrial, and classic touches. Let me tell you- I am quite a control freak. Andrea, the Event Manager, did a great job at answering questions quickly and making herself available anytime I needed to go to the venue (which was a lot). She was there at the reception to help out with my set up crew. She is amazing. Brad, the owner of the venue, was also incredibly helpful.

I loved the mckinney flour mill, it was so perfect for our fall country wedding! I loved the old rustic look and feel and the location. All of the staff were so helpful and nice! I really loved the fact that you can do the ceremony and reception in the same place and that the staff helps put it all together, really helped my family alot.

We had our reception here!! It was so beautiful and was exactly what we had wanted! Special thank you to Andrea for all that she did!!:)

My daughters' wedding reception was held here. It is a perfect place for a wedding of around 150 people. All of our vendor's loved the building. The mill is tastefully restored and is a very unique place to go. It is an old warehouse with wonderful features. I would recommend using up-lighting on the walls, to show off the old brick. All of the tables and linens are available, and they work well with your caterer, cake person and DJ or band. They allowed us to set up a little early, because they didn't have a party the night before. Very nice manager to work with, promptly answers emails and phone calls.

Great, quaint site. Excellent communication prior to wedding. Easy to work with & everything went as planned. Guests loved the venue & so did we!

We LOVED this place! We were the first wedding to book and they had their stuff together. We worked with Amanda and Sarah and they were so polite and easy to deal with. They went above & beyond in answering questions and being available. We got many compliments from guests that they loved the look & feel and it looks great in our photos!

The owner and his family worked hard the day of the wedding to make sure the area we were using was very clean and everything was in good working order. He and his daughter were even around at the time of the reception.
The room was flipped in a timely manner.
We used Sarah for our wedding cake and it was set up in the main room for us. It was also delicious!!!

A unique, wonderful setting for a reception! Our guests loved the rustic Flour Mill in downtown McKinney. The staff worked round the clock to make sure that everything was perfect. The wedding party was extremely pleased with the outcome!

My DH and I were beyond pleased with The Flour Mill! The space is a wonderful blank canvas that really allows you to make it your own. We used both the venue spaces for our ceremony and reception. The ceremony space we added only a few floating candles to the aisle for some added ambiance, but I would never recommend another bride dump oodles of money into that space since it is already so beautiful. I did notice that the curtains in the room were a bit old and could probably do with replacing. The rods they hang on did need some straightening, but again those aren't big issues. Luckily something as small as that won't show in photos, but I could see where brides might see that and not be thrilled. The floors in our ceremony space were sparkling as they had just swept and mopped them the evening before.

The reception hall has beautiful chandeliers and is large enough to accommodate a large wedding. We set our room up a bit differently than most couples do with the dance floor in the back of the room. We only did minimal uplighting and achieved a beautiful glow on the back wall. DON'T SPEND A TON OF MONEY ON LIGHTS! I will say that some of the light fixtures in the venue look as though they could use some dusting, tightening, and straightening, but I'm sure our guests didn't notice. The patio wasn't utilized by our guests as we'd hoped, but we did spend the extra money to light it with small bulb string lights. The effect was awesome in our photos!

The bathrooms in both halls were sparkling clean and well kept; definitely not "school stalls." The linens we rented were overall nice, but I noticed that some were peeling and needed replaced. They have SO many pieces of unique furniture that you will appreciate in your photos. We were disappointed that you could not use sparklers for the send off, but that is a McKinney rule, not the venue. As a new venue, I think they knock it out of the park and will only get better w/ time. A night to remember for sure!!! ;)

The Flour Mill was the perfect venue for me and my husband. We live in McKinney and we were thrilled to find a location suitable for our needs in our own town. We had several guests tell us how "perfect" it was for us- and I agree. The venue has a charming, rustic feel that can only be enhanced with lighting, decor and florals.

I received so many compliments on our venue. Everyone who walked through the door commented on how beautiful it was. Andrea worked perfectly with my mother in law to help make my big day really wonderful. The mill lets you bring in your own caterer and bar which was perfect for my big wedding. The only complaint my family had was that the required security guards were debbie downers and made my guests feel like they were at a 7th grade dance being watched. Besides that I loved everything about the mill!!

The Flour Mill was the perfect place for our wedding! It was quirky, gorgeous, spacious, and working with Andrea was a dream. My wedding wouldn't have been nearly as fun (for myself AND guests) without all of Andrea's help. Thank you, McKinney Flour Mill! <3

We absolutely loved the feel of The Flour Mill and the wedding coordinator was so easy and comfortable to work with. We had a beautiful reception there. The only thing is that it was short and I wish we had a little more time.

Our guests were completely blown away by the Flour Mill! The venue is flexible to allow you to choose all vendors which helps out budget friendly couples like us. The sales manager, Andrea was the most responsive of all my vendors, and always very quick with an answer!

We had our wedding here in mid-November. As someone who grew up in McKinney, after touring here, I had my heart set on having our wedding here. The venue is incredibly gorgeous. Both Andrea and Shelley were helpful and up front about costs, rules, and other helpful information related to planning the event. I was somewhat disappointed about an issue that we had with the wine bottles we had purchased for our guests to enjoy, especially since we had in writing that what we wanted to do with them would indeed be allowed. Unfortunately, on the big day, we were informed that it was not going to happen. Overall, I would highly recommend this venue. Our guests (majority were from out of town, some even from out of the country!) were so complementary on the uniqueness and natural, historical beauty of the Flour Mill. Couldn't have imagined a more beautiful space for our big day!

We fell in love with this place on our first visit! The McKinney Flour Mill is unique, rustic, cozy, historic, and also beautiful - perfect for a smaller reception. It's proximity to downtown McKinney is perfect and gives out of town guests plenty to do if it's their first time to the area. Amanda and the rest of the staff are friendly and easy to work with. We had the most wonderful time, and as it turns out, our guests loved it just as much as we did.

This venue is beautiful and really great for the money! With the exposed brick and hardwood floors, you don't need to do much to decorate. I opted to do their "littles" package, which allowed me to use a room full of decorations at my discretion. This was absolutely worth it and I was able to decorate everything and only needed to buy table runners. I had both the ceremony and reception there. The room flip was quick and easy. The bridal suite has two bathrooms and plenty of space, though the lighting was terrible for make-up! We had to go outside. Overall, the ladies running this venue were very responsive and helpful. I ended up using a different coordinator but they were still helpful and answered any questions promptly. Overall, everything was great! My only complaint is with regard to the security officer. They require you to use an off-duty cop that they hire, even if you just serve beer and wine. This would be fine except the officer was terribly rude and treated everyone like criminals. My wedding was by no means rowdy and yet the officer still glared at everyone and told my husband he would "f*** up your night" if anyone tried to use sparklers, which aren't allowed in McKinney. That behavior is totally unacceptable, especially to the groom! I loved the venue but the security officer really did put a damper on things.

I loved the Flour Mill! The building is amazing & the owners were very accomodating for me & my family. I got compliments all night on how unique & beautiful the space is. My only complaint is the event coordinator was not very infomartive & not good at coorespondance, but the lady who I booked the space with (Elayne) was very helpful to make up for the coordinator's lack of help. The building is too beautiful to pass up!

Elaine from the Flour Mill was so kind and very flexible. I had some interesting issues in regards to having my reception at this location for starters I was trying to get things setup from out of town. I really appreciated the flexibility and positive attitude towards my special event. Thank you for the lovely support.

Recently attended a wedding here and I was not impressed at all with this place. A/C was on part time or something, started melting the cake. Some weird stench was coming from the closet where my girlfriend found a decaying rat. Me and some others left immediately afterwards. Will not return nor get married in such filth. I have seen places way larger for half the price my friend paid, they even charge for each and every décor on sight, nickel and dime you to death it's obvious they just want your money.

My husband and I just got home from an event at McK Flour Mill. We had three grandchildren there to celebrate their Jr and Sr Prom. We paid $85.00 each to attend; we are in our 80s so that is a lot of money to us. While we enjoyed the activities, the service was terrible. We finally got our salads while most had finished their entrees and when we finally got our meal it was cold. The chicken was tough and much too salty. The desserts weren't that good either. We were not alone. There were 3 other tables that I know of that got the same service. We had to keep going back to the kitchen and asking for our food. We had looked so forward to this evening
with my daughter and her kids. . .it was a special time, but honestly, I was so annoyed by the service that it was hard to leave feeling a lot of joy.

I feel we should get a refund.
