The family run business went above and beyond to ensure our day was as we dreamed! From decor to flowers to last minute requests they always had a positive attitude and helpful manner! Loved the people there made us feel like family!

We could not have asked for a better experience by choosing McGuire's Millrace Farm. From start to finish, Natalie the venue manager, made us feel like family and helped us build our dream wedding. She was always available to answer questions via phone or email which made the process as smooth as possible. Natalie also doubled as our day of coordinator and had our timeline and wedding day planned and timed perfectly. Everything the day of went off without a single misstep or issue, and that was in large part to Natalie and her team. All of the vendors that she recommended and we worked with did an amazing job and only further added to our positive experience. The town and area in and around Murphy was a hit for our guests that were able to enjoy a variety of activities before and after the wedding. Our friends and family were blown away by how well Natalie and her team decorated the venue and attended to them throughout the event. The venue has immense natural beauty with countless spots for priceless photos. We had our ceremony and reception at the end of April and the weather was perfect for an indoor/outdoor reception. The space inside the venue is perfect for a beautiful dinner and dancing, and it flows outside perfectly with a firepit and outdoor bar for an entertaining and cozy atmosphere. Our wedding was at the end of April and all the foliage and flowers had appeared to top off the natural beauty of the venue. I would recommend McGuire's Millrace Farm to anyone that is looking for a beautiful venue in a picturesque small town in North Carolina.

Natalie and the entire staff worked tirelessly to make our children’s wedding dream a reality. They were flexible, kind, professional, and went above and beyond every step of the way. The venue is beautiful, the food delicious, and the flowers amazing… but what made McGuire’s stand out was the exceptional care and service. We cannot recommend them enough; they really made the day magical!!

From the time I started working with Natalie I knew our wedding would be magical. We had so many questions and she was very patient with us. I'm not the most creative person so she would talk through things with me and we would come up with beautiful, personal, creative solutions. I have celiac and she worked with me to find the perfect gluten free menu that everyone would love. She also did a last minute accommodation for having our rehearsal dinner at the venue when it was threatening to rain and our original plan couldn't happen. Speaking of rain, our original plan was to have our ceremony in the birch tree garden and reception inside. Mother Nature did not agree. Natalie was cool, calm, and collected and smoothly made the transition to an inside ceremony, while keeping me and my husband calm, while also continually communicating with us, while updating our vendors AND our wedding party! We did have her as our Day Of Coordinator which we were hesitant about due to the cost. TOTALLY WORTH IT!!! I could not stress that enough. She was absolutely incredible. It was a completely stress-free day thanks to Natalie and her staff. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, sweet lady. It was the perfect January Wedding.

I can't say enough wonderful things about Natalie, Amanda, Autumn, and the rest of the McGuire's family and staff, for such an amazing experience. They are miracle workers, and such professionals when it comes to putting on a wedding. From choosing to postpone our wedding from October to April due to the pandemic, to having to set up inside due to weather, we ended up having the perfect day. It even cleared up to get photos with the mountains! Natalie was AMAZING. She will literally feel like your best friend, and makes the wedding planning process so much more enjoyable. On our wedding day, I was surprisingly not stressed, because Natalie and crew were on top of every single detail. We had Amanda do the florals (Flowers at McGuire's), and they did not disappoint! Everyone was blown away by the elegant and beautiful decor, and talked about it throughout the evening. They also couldn't stop raving about the smoked pulled pork we served, it was a hit!! Everyone was floored and impressed. If you're looking for a wedding venue that makes you truly feel like a priority, and wants to make your wedding day everything you hoped it'd be, McGuire's Millrace Farm is the place!!!

McGuire’s Millrace Farm is absolutely breathtaking! From the views to the INCREDIBLE staff, our wedding day was absolutely perfect! We live in Florida and planned a destination wedding at McGuires. They exceeded our expectations and went above and beyond! We received so many compliments from our wedding guests about the McGuire family and staff. Natalie, the venue/event coordinator, is a breath of fresh air and has such a calming presence about her. The food was to die for! We had the brisket, mashed potatoes, veggies, and Mrs. Linda’s yeast rolls. So tasty!! If you’re looking for the perfect place to get married, you have found it! You won’t be disappointed. McGuire’s Millrace Farm has earned a very special place in our hearts and we can’t wait to go back to visit!

From the moment I spoke with Natalie on the phone, just calling to ask some questions, I loved my experience with McGuire's. This place is so magical my husband even proposed here! The staff is so kind and professional, they make you feel comfortable, at home, and confident in your choice of venue. And let's not forget the food was AMAZING, I mean we seriously enjoyed it. What a day-they made all of our dreams come true, this place is a gem. You will not regret it, everything, every piece was an absolute win! I was so thrilled that it worked out, in fact we even changed the date of our wedding so we could get married at this place. We moved the wedding up three weeks so we could have the dreamy birch trees! We loved how family oriented this venue is as well, everyone involved, it made it such a personal experience. Thank you to everyone involved at McGuire's for making this our best day ever. Y'all are incredible, I wouldn't change a thing, it was absolutely perfect. Natalie, Evan and the squad did a stellar job, they went above and beyond, every interaction with them was sweet. I think it is such a gift having everything all in one place, it is so helpful not having to find an outside caterer! Natalie and Evan are absolute gems and so easy to work with, so kind and have calming personalities while all the things are happening. This is truly a special place, everything is based around their family and we loved that. Seriously do not hesitate to check this place out-it is GORGEOUS, and the staff are PHENOMENAL. The birch trees people-dreamy, whimsical and pure magic. This place is five stars nestled in the valley of the blue ridge mountains. I could go on and on about how easy it is to plan a wedding with these folks, especially when they helped me plan my favorite day ever in two and half months! I have no bad things to say about this place and these people, I could speak goodness about this property and people for a while. WHAT A DREAM.

Our son recently got married at McGuire's Millrace farm. What a truly beautiful venue! Natalie and her family were awesome!!! Natalie kept everything running smoothly and on time. So helpful. Amanda did the flowers and they were gorgeous absolutely beautiful!!! Beyond our expectations!!! She also has the lodge next door. Ours was a destination wedding and utilizing the beautiful lodge was perfect. Every thought for comfort was attended to. All of the vendors that Natalie recommended were awesome! The lady who made the delicious and beautiful cakes and cupcakes was so pleasant and easy to work with. The DJ was amazing!!! He was awesome!!! This really is a perfect venue from beginning to end. I can't imagine a more beautiful place or people to work with and share such a special day with! We have truly been blessed by the marriage of our children and the experience we had at McGuire's!!

Our wedding was on 11/12/16, and I can't say enough good things about McGuire's. Our wedding was a destination wedding, my husband is in the military so we were New Mexico for most of the wedding planning. Which you would think would have been extremely stressful, and I thought the same thing when we decided to get married there. I thought what am I getting myself into... but that was far from the case with the help of Natalie (wedding coordinator/planner) everything went so smoothly. They have a list of vendors in the area that they have used before, so you are sure to get good service, and they even tell you who their preferred vendors are, but everyone on the list is great. The wedding turned out beyond perfect, and everything was beautiful! If you book McGuire's you will not be disappointed.

This is more than a wedding venue it is a place where you feel apart of the Mcguire family! They go above and beyond to make every detail of your day perfect, and make you feel so special! Not only is it an absolutely beautiful venue, the McGuire's have years of experience doing weddings! Everything at my wedding went very smoothly and was stress-free! They listen to you and let you plan the wedding you want. They are very kind and open-minded. It was easy to communicate with them. They always responded to emails, texts, and phone calls. I am sooooo happy I used McGuire's Millrace Farm for my wedding!!!!! Natalie McGuire Gibbs was my wedding planner and she was outstanding!!!! Love this family and venue!!!

I cannot thank Natalie, Amanda, Tommy and Linda enough for the amazing experience we had at Millrace. Natalie helped walk me through all the planning, created a beautiful theme for our wedding and took care of a million small details I wouldn't have ever thought of! When the flowers I wanted were out of season, Amanda came up with an option I liked even more and it was less expensive! The food was great and the setting was perfect. My family stayed at the Lodge and it was great for the whole family to get to be together. Tommy and Linda were gracious hosts and made everyone feel right at home. It was an amazing day and a wonderful experience working with the McGuire's!

Our wedding was in April at McGuire's Millrace Farm and was certainly the fairy-tale wedding I had always dreamed of. My mom found McGuire's online and we contact Mrs. Linda and booked it! We were choosing this amazing place based off pictures we've seen online. We did not see the venue until the Wednesday before our wedding. The pictures DO NOT do justice to how beautiful the Farm is. Everything, from the Barn to the bridge, to the red barn, etc. Natalie is truly a God-send. She was amazing during the entire planning process. It rained the entire week of the wedding and by Friday, we prepared for an indoor ceremony (which I would have been just as happy with), but fortunately the sun came out the day of the wedding for the first time. Mrs. Linda told us on Friday as we were leaving the rehearsal that only 4 weddings had been rained out since 2009! The food was AMAZING. We did the finger food buffet. Everything was so tasty and definitely left us full (but not miserable). It was the perfect day. I highly recommend McGuire's Millrace Farm!!! :)

Words cannot describe the experience my husband and I had at McGuire's. The McGuire's are truly one-of-a-kind professionals at conducting weddings. I wanted a place that was close to home, big enough to accommodate 200 guest, and had the vintage feel I was looking for. Looking at the pictures online were gorgous; however, I had to see McGurie's for myself. The night I found this place online, I called and Linda answered. I was so excited! Natalie, my venue coordinator and day-of coordinator gave my mother and I a grand tour of the farm. Needless to say, I booked McGuire's within thirty minutes! The day of my wedding, Natalie, Linda, and Tommy dressed the part and made me, my husband, family, and friends feel so welcomed to McGuire's. Leading up to the big day after many months of planning, Natalie was always just a phone call away to answer any of my questions. Natalie and her mother, Linda, both are so kind and know how to make the wedding experience stress free! As I write this testimonial, I am so blessed to have married my best friend at such a beautiful venue, surronded by two rows of birch trees, 200 guests including my family and friends, and by The McGuire's. The McGurie's truly made my dream wedding come true!

Working in the wedding industry, I see many wedding venues. A few years back (way before we were engaged) I traveled to Mcguires Millrace Farm to do hair and makeup for my bride, and instantly fell in love with the venue. Although I was not engaged yet, I knew that this is where one day I would want to be married. 5 years later, it happened. I could not have asked for a more perfect wedding venue. McGuires Millrace Farm provided the most beautiful location for our dream wedding. Not only is the scenery gorgeous, but Natalie is so precious. She and her family worked so hard to prepare for our day and it showed so much. The on-site chef was just a great touch. The food was to die for- and all our guests thought so too! The fact that he was on-site, made our planning that much easier. Mcguires offers many beautiful rentals and decorations, that we were able to use- which cut our even more time and searching on our part. Our dream wedding turned into reality at McGuires Millrace a Farm and I highly recommend this venue!

Natalie and the whole McGuire Family were amazing to work with. The Farm is an absolute dream and made our wedding exactly what we wanted it, form the atmosphere to the service they provided. The McGuire's Millrace Farm was the first venue we looked at and as soon as we drove down the gravel driveway we knew this was a special place and after meeting the McGuire's it was all set in stone. Natalie or her mom Linda were always available by phone or email when I had any questions and were very responsible with anything and everything I needed. They offer so many additions on their site that makes it very convenient when travelling. We were able to have everything we wanted in a wedding and were not confined in any way. The McGuire's wanted to give us everything we wanted and worked with us every step of the way. They also offer a on-site Lodge that is just amazing and so convenient. Weeks after the wedding we still get so many compliments on the location and are amazed we found such a location that had EVERYTHING we wanted. In the end, the wedding went off perfectly and was so happy to see everyone having a good time and enjoying the farm as much as my husband and I do. We highly recommend this place. We will be back in the future.

This is the perfect spot for a woman's dream wedding!! I would not have changed a thing! The staff is super helpful and really nice. They made everything perfect!! I would use again!

The most beautiful wedding venue ever in North Carolina. The McGuire's did a fabulous job our daughters Wedding couldn't have been more perfect!

Choosing to have our wedding at the McGuire’s Millrace Farm was the easiest and best decision we made!! The Barn is nestled between the mountains and still takes my breath away every time I see it! The Farm is the perfect picture of rustic elegance and is unmatched by any other venue. The grounds, along with the services provided, swept us and our guests off our feet from the beginning. Natalie and Linda were willing and anxious to meet with me numerous times until we were able to pin down exactly what we wanted. They were the perfect blend of offering advice without being overbearing and making suggestions where they were needed. Their in-house floral designer, Amanda, was able to create the exact vision I had for flowers. I gave her colors and a few flowers that I liked and she ran with it and created something better than I ever could have imagined!! I am still getting compliments months later on the flowers and décor we used. The Chef at the Farm helped us select a menu that everyone loved and raved about- we had a traditional BBQ Dinner complete with various sauces to satisfy everyone’s preference. We also chose to use the in-house DJ. He promised to keep the dance floor full all night and he delivered!!

I had out of town family choose to utilize the Millhouse which can sleep up to 30 people- they were all raving about the facility! It's a beautiful place to stay and nice to have everyone together- and close by!

This venue made my wedding day one I will never forget! From the minute my fiance and I walked through the door for the first time until the moment we drove away in our wedding attire, McGuire's Millrace made us feel like the most important people in their lives. They worked in every way to make our wishes come true and the end result was so much better then I ever dreamed. The McGuire family makes you feel so welcomed and at home, they want you to have the wedding of your dreams and to share it with you. This really is a facility that does and has everything. From the incredible food, to the onsite decorations that are available for use, to the set up and clean up and all for a beyond reasonable price. We worked with everyone in the family and we never felt like "just another couple", in fact I would call them friends, and so would my family. There are not enough good things I could say about this facility and the family who runs it. My wedding was truly a dream come true and I attribute so much of that to McGuire's Millrace. They are far above any other venue I visited or have experienced with friends and their weddings. I recommend them one thousand percent and will hopefully use them for functions to come!

We had a destination wedding @ McGuires Millrace Farm in Murphy, NC. We did the majority of the planning and communication via email and phone. Natalie was professional and always easy to work with. She always had our best interests in the forefront throughout the whole process. Mcguires is an extremely beautiful wedding venue and we couldn't be happier with our choice. Amazing! We feel like the McGuire's are friends and family now. Coming from Louisiana and planning a wedding with McGuire's was easier than one could imagine. They offer the complete package and work with your budget to make your dreams come true. Always a smile, professional, but down to earth loving venue to work with. The chef is amazing, the food surpassed a 5 star restaurant! As a worried bride I had millions of questions and bugged them constantly and always, ALWAYS, received a fast and thorough answer or comment. The venue is full of history, hospitality, and beauty you just won't find anywhere in this area.
