I cannot recommend MCG Photography enough. After getting engaged, I booked with MCG before any other vendor. I was so impressed with Corrie's responsiveness via email. After our consultation phone call, I was even more impressed with the timeline that she had already created for our day. She was flexible with me not even having a venue yet and actually changing the wedding day. On the day of, Corrie was with the ladies and James with men while we finished getting ready. Corrie prompted us in such a way that we felt so relaxed and "natural" in our photos. She has such a calm demeanor, and was absolutely incredible to work with. She paid such close attention to my hope for the day - "to capture the special moments". We have a library of stunning wedding photos that we will cherish forever. Corrie and James - I will recommend you to anyone who is looking for wedding photography!!!!!!! -

Amazing experience from start to finish!!
I highly recommend using MCG Photography for your wedding photos!! From our engagement session to the final product of our wedding photos, they made me feel comfortable to be myself, captured the special moments, and put our entire vision and day to life! On my wedding day Corrie went above and beyond and helped bustle my dress and they remained so calm and composed even when I was full of emotions! They are a couple who truly care about you and the photos they are taking for you! So stop stressing over trying to find the perfect wedding photographer because you just found them! -

Corrie and James were amazing! We had a destination elopement, and they helped us orchestrate the most beautiful pictures, kept us on schedule, and planned out everything we could not do from afar. Their warm personalities and kindness also helped create such a romantic atmosphere for our big day. Cannot recommend them enough. -

Elopement Photography Dream Team
I’m not even going to tell you how many times I’ve watched our highlight video in the first 24 hours but it’s a lot. Where do we even begin!! Corrie and James blew it completely out of the water, they’re so perfect. The amount of joy that radiates is so amazing, the entire story of the day was painted so perfectly. My little sister said she just sobbed through the whole slideshow, my dad could not get enough of the last section with the chalice he bought me when I was a girl, and my mom (who was the reason I always knew I was going to elope) was so happy she couldn’t criticize a single thing which blew my mind. My husband was obsessed with the music you chose, drumming along to it the whole time. The movement, the connection, the joy, it’s all there. Thank you does not suffice, but I am so grateful for your amazing talent. -

Corrie and James were INCREDIBLE. Corrie had the most energy and really took charge and somehow got the kids to smile! Her and James worked some serious miracles together with our crazy group and captured the best moments of our lives. I would give them a 15/10! -

Corrie and James were one of the best parts of the wedding planning process. They are intentional, kind, supportive, funny, and are an overall addition to the event itself. Corrie and James met with us multiple times (virtually and physically) before the event because they just wanted to get to know us as individuals and as a couple. I understood the importance once I received the photos, and saw how well they captured the essence of who we are. Looking back on the actual day - which was a whirlwind - the things that stand out to me are -
• the clear direction provided for posed photos (and how much fun they made it - we were laughing the majority of the time)
• the efficiency of the posed photos so we could get back to the party
• Corrie bustling my dress herself so I didn’t have to bug my maid-of-honor during cocktail hour
• Corrie showing me a photo she snapped of my mom in the middle of the dance floor
• Corrie leading the entire vendor team in partnership with our wedding planner
Corrie and James make you feel like the coolest couple in the world, and we couldn’t recommend them enough. Luckily they also specialize in family photos, so we can continue to engage them many times in the future. -

Wonderful Experience & New Lifelong Photographers
After reviewing and interviewing many wedding photographers we happily selected Corrie and James of MCG Photography as our photographers. We felt they brought a wonderful energy as a couple and would perfectly be able to capture our Wedding Day! Unfortunately COVID happened and altered our wedding day plans several times. MCG was so wonderful and flexible with every change of venue, date and time. They were incredibly responsive and a joy to work with. We took engagement photos and bridal photos before our wedding day photos. When our original Wedding Day plans had to be drastically altered they were there with just 8 family members at our ceremony but they felt like 2 more members of the family. Then, when our backup reception date had to be cancelled again due to COVID we were able to get some friends together and take more photos in a new location creating even more wonderful memories. We could not have been happier with any other photographers and they found themselves life-long clients. The photos were beautiful and creative and they did not miss a moment. Their professionalism is unmatched and their work is fantastic. If you go with MCG you will absolutely love your whole experience, from initial meeting to reviewing the photos of your special day. You cannot go wrong with Corrie and James, I promise you. -

If you are looking for photographers that go above and beyond to make your day special - MCG Photography is the photographer you are looking for. They do so much more than take amazing photos (both portrait style and candids that capture the special moments). Corrie and James truly felt like they were part of our family. To start, Corrie came to the Bridal Party house while James went to the Groom's. Corrie came in and seamlessly captured photos during the madness of getting ready mixed with nerves mixed with our beloved furry friends that were of course an important part of our day. James was equally wonderful - he captured moments of the groomsmen, father of the groom, and officiate that were "in the moment" and beatufiul. In addition to everything we expected from a photographer, they did things we did not expect, but that we appreciate more than we'll be able to convey. They were the "friends" by our side throughout, from the hanky James gave to my husband (which was vital during the ceremony) to Corrie even helping me pick out burrs that got stuck in my dress on our way to take photos on beach. They understand and accommodate schedules while also ensuring they capture your "wish list" of shots (and so much more). Probably two of the nicest people I have met in Charleston, Corrie and James just "get it". They understand the day (backwards and forwards), how to work with nervous brides and grooms, how to work with families, and how to work with videographers. So many of our guests, in the wedding, family, friends have reached out to us ask us about Corrie and James and to express how much they even enjoyed working with them - they both made a lasting impression on us all. -

Corrie and James have the ability of capturing the most sentimental moments in a simple, heartfelt way that also makes you look great! There is an honesty in their work that really captures the experience of the day - not just a smiling snapshot everyone pauses for (although, they are great with those too!). They capture the moments where emotions actually transpire between two people - the things you absolutely want to treasure from your day. They are so easy to work with, while being efficient and getting everything that you want! I couldn't have imagined another photographer being able to bring our day to life through images the way that they did! Thank you so much MCG!
