I agree with the reviewer below- JUST BOOK THEM! This bakery was wonderful to work with and my wedding cake was absolutely delicious and beautiful. The people at the bakery are so kind and gave a whole bag of baked goodies for a sweet touch. The strawberry cake with cream cheese icing is the bomb, just saying! Come have a tasting and decide for yourself! Thank you so much for my beautiful wedding cake at Roswell Mill Club.

Just book them. The cake is so delicious and they are so easy to work with. It's also a super good value, the cheapest and most delicious bakery I found.

I would recommend McEntyre's Bakery for ANY occasion. They did 3 cakes for my son's wedding May 28,2016 and they were absolutely the best tasting cakes I've ever had. My son and new daughter in law chose Red Velvet with cream cheese for the groom's cake and the white cake with cream cheese frosting which was FANTASTIC! We had over 230 guests and we received so many compliments from everyone. Not only did the guests love it, the caterer, Adriane's Delectables who has catered some of the finest venues and other occasions even for the governor and ambassadors, said it was one of the best cakes she has ever tasted.!!! We were all so pleased with the service as well. I would recommend it for taste and price for what you get. The wedding cake was beautiful!!!!

McEntyre's replicated a picture of a cake I found on Pinterest - I was SO HAPPY with how it looked, and it tasted amazing too! Plus, it was very affordable. I would absolutely recommend McEntyre's for anyone looking for an amazing cake at an amazing price!

We had never been to McEntyre's Bakery but after taste testing somewhere else that was not great, we made an appointment here after reading the great reviews. It was a great value, much more reasonable than other places in town. Ryan was wonderful to work with, we felt great about working with a wonderful family business. The cakes were delicious! I showed him a picture I liked of a wedding cake and he was able to copy it exactly. We selected almond pound cake for the bride's cake and it was delicious. For the groom's cake, he made a cookie cake in the shape of our state, Georgia. The groom's cake went so fast, we were lucky the venue saved some for us to take on our honeymoon! (see pictures on Yelp) We will definitely be using McEntyre's Bakery again and recommending them to our friends!

Best cake in town! Tasting was amazing and the cake was amazing for the wedding. We also had cream puffs and those were a hit at the wedding. Beautiful cake and highly recommend this family owned business!

McEntyre's Bakery made my wedding cake. I brought them a pic of the cake design and they duplicated it perfectly. The cake was so beautiful we didn't want to cut it. But when we did, our guests couldn't stop raving about how delicious it was. It was pound cake with Bavarian cream filling. Yummy! Definitely would recommend them to anyone I know. Awesome staff to work with and quality product.

I will definitely recommend McEntyre's to any bride that I know. The cake was not only gorgeous but was very tasty. My guests were raving all night about it. I had the yellow cake with cream cheese icing and had them use the strawberry cream cheese icing as a filing between the layers. It was delicious!

Working with McEntyre's for our THREE wedding cakes was fantastic. From the tasting to the day of the event, they were very helpful and really made us feel like family along the way. The cake choices (and taste, of course) were excellent and above our expectation. We can't wait to get into some leftover cake from the event!!!

Miranda at McEntyre's did a phenomenal job and ensured we had everything we needed along with helpful cost savings options to ensure we did not spend unnecessarily. They have provided bakery needs for my wedding as well as standard events ie birthday, shower etc and I definitely consider them my family bakery!

McEntyre's Bakery in Smyrna created our amazing wedding and groom's cake for our wedding. Our wedding cake was a simple three tier almond pound cake with buttercream icing. The cake turned out beautifully, just as I had requested and it was delicious. They also did our groom's cake, which my husband is still raving about. We took them a picture of the mascot from my husband's alma mater and the cake was even Bette than we could have imagined...it was perfect. The staff at this bakery are kind and professional. My family has been using them for years and will continue to. You should definitely give McEntyre's a try! You won't be disappointed!

Miranda at McEntyre's is so wonderful to work with! Our wedding cake was absolutely delicious, gorgeous and people are still talking about it! We also wanted something fun and different for our groom's cake, so we opted for a rice krispies treat cake, drizzled in chocolate - it was not only fun and great looking, it tasted amazing. Actually the rice krispies were still delicious when we returned home from our honeymoon after only being wrapped in some saran wrap! Delivery happened when and as promised, no issues with the cake at all. The gumpaste flowers that I purchased online and brought to the bakery were placed beautifully with no issues what so ever. I have used McEntyre's Bakery for other needs, and they will continue to be our family bakery!

I ordered an assortment of pies from McEntyre's Bakery for my wedding and they turned out absolutely amazing. I ordered over 20 pies and they were very helpful each time I had questions. Everyone loved the pie idea for the wedding and there weren't any left at the end of the night. They were delicious!

YUMMMM!!! McEntyre's Bakery was the perfect bakery for our wedding cake needs!

We had a fairly limited budget when it came to our wedding cake, and McEntyre's accomodated us to the penny! Our tasting was amazing - they gave us lots of choices and combinations to try, and ultimately we decided on orange marble poundcake with cream cheese icing - and it was absolutely delicious! Our guests loved the unique and fresh flavor!

McEntyre's created a "faux cake" for us - we chose a three-tier cake to serve around 100 guests (we only had 88 in the end). So the bottom two tiers were actually styrofoam and the top tier was our "cake cutting" tier so we could still have our spotlight moment. Then, they sent sheetcake, also decorated with cream cheese icing to look like the fancy cake, to cut in the kitchen and then bring out to our guests. No one could ever tell the difference, and this option saved us over $100 on our costs! Amazing! It's the only bakery I've heard of in Atlanta to offer this great cost-saver! They delivered the cake on time, and it was beautiful!

Couldn't be happier with McEntyre's - can't wait to order a mini cake for our anniversary!!!

In one word: YUM!!

Okay, let me get to the feedback that people may find helpful. McEntyre's Bakery is located near my office, and I found out about them when my boss brought in some of their yummy donuts for a breakfast meeting one morning (and yes, I do joke with my boss that it's all her fault I know about this place and had to watch what I ate before the wedding!). So, I was already about 90% certain I was going with McEntyre's before I even checked out other places.

When we went in for the cake tasting, we met with Ryan, who is one of the owners. He had a slew of cake samples for us to try, and they were all amazing. He gave us suggestions and recommendations on what would work well based on the style of cake that we wanted, flavor combinations, money-saving tips, and so on. In the end, we went with a 4-tier cake. The two top tiers were real, the 2 bottom were fake, and we had sheet cakes in the back that saved us a TON of money. At the end of the tasting, he asked us if we wanted some more cupcakes as samples to take home, since I didn't ask to try all of their flavors at the tasting. I was expecting 1-2 items, but he sent us home with a dozen cupcakes loaded in a box! (This eventually provided the inspiration for the groom's cake.)

On the wedding day, the cake arrived at the perfect time and in perfect condition exactly as I wanted. We had decided on their traditional vanilla pound cake with raspberry filling and homemade cream cheese frosting, and their amazing red velvet cake. The cake tasted AMAZING, and I cannot wait to have our top tier on our anniversary.

McEntyres Bakery has done my birthday cake since I was a little girl, so it was only fitting that we ended up using them for our wedding cake. I LOVE cake, so the cake was one of the most important aspects of the wedding for me. When we starting looking for a bakery, I was surprised to find out what McEntyres was one of the most affordable options. When we went in for the tasting, there was no competition. The cakes and icings were all amazing. We ended up with four tiered cake: strawberry marble pound cake with buttercream icing on two tiers and pound cake with strawberry cream cheese on the other two. They really knew how to advise us on what size cake to get- there weren't tons of left overs. Additionally, they advised us to have a second topper that was already in a box and ready to be saved for our 1 year anniversary. I thought that was a great idea. The cake arrived on time and was beautiful- just as I have always imagined. Our guests thought it tasted delicious too!

They made delicious cupcakes for our wedding. Our guest were raging about how amazing they were and it was a great option to not have to cut cake or decide on only a few flavors. They quality and taste are to die for and they work with your budget and wedding scheme very well. Owner is awesome!

Working with Ryan and his crew at McEntyre's Bakery was a great experience. But what was even greater was their cakes!! We had a two-tiered pound cake with buttercream frosting and then four smaller cakes - chocolate cake with chocolate frosting, chocolate cake with vanilla frosting, and two red velvet cakes. They were all amazing (and totally affordable too)! While we ordered enough cake for what was standard for our wedding size - next time I would have gotten more. So many people had 2nd and 3rd helpings because their first piece was too delicious not to have another one!

McEntyre's Bakery had the best price on wedding cakes compared to Publix and other bakeries in town. They were conveniently located next to my venue (Log Cabin Church) in Vinings so it was just one more reason to use them. The cakes turned out beautiful - both the grooms and brides cake. Ryan McEntyre, the owner, is very easy to do business with and he has the customer's interests in mind at all time. Highly recommend!!

We bought our wedding cake and groom's cake from here and they were delicious. The price was perfect for our budget too. We had a couple of simple designs in mind and they made the cakes look beautiful. I can't wait for our one year anniversary so I can eat the leftovers!

We loved our cake from mcentyre's!!! It was sooo yummy, so beautiful, and so inexpensive! Our photographers recommended them for the best tasting cakes (which they were so right) and when we heard the price, we were stunned. We paid so much less than most other cake vendors wanted in our area. We met with them and tasted all kinds of cakes, fillings and icings and were able to choose the perfect cake. I showed them a picture of a cake i found online and they made it look even better than the picture! We were so happy!

I eloped and only needed the top layer of a wedding cake and the staff treated me as if I were the most important customer they had. The cake was exactly what I asked for, it traveled well from Atlanta to Savannah and it was DELICIOUS! Thanks so much!

My wedding cake turned out exactly how I wanted and it was gorgeous!! I got so many compliments on the way it looked and tasted, and it was smuch more affordable than most of the other bakeries in the area. The grroms cake was also beautiful and it must have been delicious because it went quick!! I would definitely recommend McEntyre's!

My mom changed her mind 3 times, and they were very accommodating. I also photograph weddings, and I have seen cakes from OTHER vendors that were baked 2.. 3 days in advance and were crumbly. My cake was perfect. I ALWAYS recommend McEntyre's for EVERY occasion!

McEntyre's has been Smyrna's hometown bakery for as long as I can remember. My Granny used to take her kids there!

I chose McEntyre's because I get all our birthday cakes there and I knew they could do something wonderful for me. I met with Ryan and explained what I was really looking for. Our wedding theme was based off a Tiffany box...literally. Tiffany blue and white ribbons. He helped me with a Tiffany blue and white scrolled cake in box layers with our monogram that was beautiful. It was also a cake similar to one they had featured in a magazine. I felt so lucky to be working with the best!

On top of putting my ideas into this creation I was dreaming about, he helped to reduce the cost for me. He had great ideas and who knew people used faux layers in wedding cakes...well they do. He's amazing.

McEntyre's also provided the Groom's cake - a layered baseball themed cake. Amazing!!

Our cake arrived on schedule and looked amazing. I still get compliments on our cakes when our friends see pictures. Great job and would recommend to anyone!!

McEntyre's Bakery was amazing. We had a tasting and every piece of cake was delicious. They also worked with us to keep costs down by crafting a faux cake for display! The bottom two tiers were styrofoam, and the top was real cake to cut and take home. We had two full sheet cakes in the back for serving, and two flavors of cake. Everyone thought the cake was delicious!

I would totally recommend them. They were great to talk to and helped us decide how best to keep our cake within our budget.

I have always been to McEntyres for their baked goods but never had a cake from there so i scheduled a tasting and i was blown away! I had 3 different flavors for my cake and all of them were equally as tasty. Our photographer even commented that it was one of the most beautiful wedding cakes they had seen!

The cakes we ordered were delicious and beautiful! Service was also top notch! The only negative I have is that they don't deliver on Sundays, which was somewhat difficult to work around. Everything else was outstanding!

Yum, yum, yum. Not only did our cake look beautiful, it tasted amazing as well which was really important to me. I didn't want our guests to be disappointed once it was served and I don't think anyone was. Their tasting was such a fun process. I mean who wouldn't want to try all their delicious flavors. We even left with a box of goodies after our tasting. Our venue supposedly served all the cake at our reception, so we didn't get to eat any besides the little we fed each other, but my parents loved the cake so much that my dad had a birthday cake made with the flavors we chose for my mom!

when we went for our cake tasting i was sold because it was so well organized! They made it very easy to pick out your cake, frosting and layers. They had lots of pictures and displays of cakes to figure out what you wanted your's to look like, and overall it was such a great experience. Its a family run company and I think they really want to take care of their customers. We picked out our cake 3 weeks before our wedding and it was no big deal! The cake was phenomenal too!

The cake was absolutely delicious. I would recommend this bakery to all of my friends. The bakery was also affordable and the overall decoration and design of the cake was beautiful.

As others have stated, the price is great here. Even with a delivery fee, they are much less than most in the city for extremely delicious cakes! Their traditional almond pound cake with the buttercream was exactly what I wanted. The only snag I really had was that we discussed pictures upon booking them as well. I also touched base the week of the wedding with pictures again of how I wanted our monogram done on the cake. They said we were all set, and then the cake wasn't as I had asked for with that design. It still looked very nice overall, but I just really wanted that specific feature.

McEntyre's was very helpful when selecting a cake, and everyone we talked to was friendly and professional. When we wanted to change the color a few months later, we had difficultly reaching someone that could assist. However, the cake was beautiful and tasted great. The cake was also delivered on time the day of. I would use this bakery again.

If you have a wedding on Sunday they don't deliver on Sunday so know that first. However, very affordable and good! The cake tasted delicious and looked fantastic. While I could have paid $600 or &700 for our wedding cake we only paid $350 for 125 guest!!!! I def would go here again!

This bakery is so amazing!! We have gotten so many compliments on both our wedding cake and our groom's cake. The groom's cake was a carrot cake and it was by far the BEST carrot cake I have ever eaten.

The cake was very beautiful and looked gorgeous once set up. There was a mistake in the making our cake, so some changes were made. Either way, the cake wasn't that tasty and we had to enhance the cake ourselves by putting rose petals around it and topping the cake. They were very professional and everything was done on time. It's just the cake wasn't very tasty.

We got both of our cakes from McEntyre's on a recommendation from a friend who had used them. We got the basic pound cake with buttercream for Bride's, and devils food with chocolate for Groom's . Based only on taste, I would rate McEntyre's a 5. Also, the groom's cake decor was wonderful, and I'd give it a 5. The groom's cake was a standard cake that the bakery has in their repertoire (a block monogram half sheet cake).

The scores above however, reflect my slight disappointment in the decor of my bride's cake. I wanted a more simply decorated cake than those in their sample books. I wanted a simple satin ribbon wrapped around the center of each tier excepting one tier that was to have a scroll monogram that I provided a photo of. They were not able to put the ribbon around the tiers without adding some expensive fondant - so I had a friend add the ribbon after delivery of the cake (which turned out wonderfully). McEntyre's said they were able to do the monogram (otherwise, I would have chosen something else); however, the lettering was very messy. It looked like an afterthought, and it was supposed to be the central part to the cake as the rest of it was very simple.

Also, they have a limited selection of cake tier sizes and stands.

They were very polite and nice to work with. Appointments only 2 days a week.

This is a family business, so I wasn't expecting something extremely ornate, but really just wanted the monogram to look better than it did. I was so tired of making decisions that I didn't shop around for cakes. If you're wanting cake decor that is not in their standard repertoire, I may shop around a bit.

They were great to work with at the first consult. They showed us all our options (expensive and inexpensive). However, a couple of weeks prior to the wedding, I could not get anyone to call me back to discuss the last minute details. It took a couple of days but someone eventually called me back. The cake looked pretty but nothing over the top. The flavor was decent.
