Amazing surroundings

I was hired to be the videographer at a wedding at McC Ranch and it's an amazing venue. It really made my job easy by providing such a unique backdrop. Along with the venue being amazing, the staff were super helpful and flexible. Everything came together to make a great video for the couple:

If you're looking for a more secluded venue with great landscape all around I'd recommend this, one of my favorite weddings this year!

Amazing!!! We had our wedding there 2 weeks ago and we have nothing but wonderful things to say about the venue and the owners. Gorgeous place!!

I just booked with McC Ranch and have NOT had my wedding there yet but I can say I can't wait! Jerry was so helpful during our walk through and never tried to up-sell us or sneak in any hidden fees. He is extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and a genuinely good person. The barn has lights encased in tulle hung throughout the ceiling and has such a great feel to it! I cannot wait for my wedding because the venue is beautiful and I know Jerry will be so helpful on my special day! I will post another review after my wedding day :)

We were recently married at McC Ranch and had an absolutely perfect time. The barn is lovely with draped tulle and lights and a wooden dance floor. Outside, there's a beautiful waterfall next to the lawn where we chose to have our ceremony, rolling hills and horses grazing in the background, a wooden round pen, etc. The owner Jerry is SO accommodating. He was kind, good-humored, and helpful from start to finish...he helped us with setup on Friday when we needed it (we got the whole day before the wedding to do this, stress-free!) He has seen so many weddings, his advice is absolutely spot on. It began to rain shortly after our ceremony and Jerry and his family went above and beyond helping us to transfer the flowers and decorations inside of the barn, they gave us advice on breaking the wedding down efficiently, and much more. I would recommend McC Ranch to any couple, we couldn't have asked for a better day.

My husband and I wanted to pick a venue where our local and out of town guests would look around them and say, “Yes, this is beauty. This is Colorado in all its Rocky Mountain majesty.” Jerry and his family’s help and advice was invaluable before and during the set-up of our big day. On the day of our wedding, everything went seamlessly because of McC Ranch’s experience and careful attention to detail. We had our ceremony on the intricately and mindfully landscaped lawn with the birds singing in the trees and frogs in the pond croaking. The indoor reception area is tastefully constructed and organized with a well kept dance floor and clean table and chairs. Thank you Jerry and family for sharing our special day and making it perfect in every way.

McC Ranch was a beautiful place to get married! If you are looking for an ultimate rustic Colorado wedding, this is the place for you! The owner of the ranch, Jerry, was absolutely fabulous to work with and could not have chosen a better person to work with. We had all day to set up on Friday, wedding was on Saturday, and he was flexible with us picking up some left behind items on Sunday. You will not be able to find a better bang for your buck!

For being a place that isn't very well known, they sure do know what they are doing! Jerry and Chuck were awesome to work with and were very flexible! From set up on Friday to clean up on Sunday they were nothing but a huge help! They were hands on when needed, but sat back and let us do our thing when they weren't needed!

Chuck and Jerry were great to work with. They were very flexible and accommodating. Plus, they don't try to rip you off like a lot of the other venues we looked at. We could choose our own caterers, bring our own beer and choose our own DJ. Plus, we had the venue for 3 1/2 days so we could decorate early and not worry about only having a few hours to decorate. The venue had beautiful views of the foothills. I highly recommend them!!

This was a beautiful venue and so Colorado!! I had a wonderful experience with the owners and Jerry was very accommodating! He was there if we needed anything and very helpful! I would totally recommend this venue! I would not though recommend the Wedding Planner we had (Connect 4 Events - very bad experience).

Nice setting but Rude.

My Daughter had here Wedding here this past weekend. Yes, the setting was nice and the value was inexpensive. I would have had paid double for some service and professionalism. The owner, Jerry is rude, pushy and very opinionated. I don't care if he has put on a thousand weddings before. This was our wedding, not his. First, I dropped off the beer, wine and champagne. I wanted to see how many tubs he had to accommodate the beverages. He had two. I had pre ordered ice before hand to pick up on the day of. I returned a while later with a truck load. I wanted to make sure we had enough. The place isn't down the street for a gas station anyway. If I had to throw 10 bags out, then so be it, I wanted enough. He had comment about that. Then he had to tell me how to load the tubs with beer. Like we haven't done this before. He made a comment about having canned and bottled beer as well as keg beer. We were going to have both. He said everyone would drink the can and bottled beer first. So be it! The guests can drink what they want. Second, we had asked that we needed 4 tables out for the food as this is what the catering company requested. He provided two. When the food arrived he chose to intervein and started setting half of the food in the back. I didn't want the food put in the back! We wanted it all out, not hidden in the back. Third, He kept on about having the big roll up door next to the bar area and food table open. It was breezy and kept blowing the napkins and light accessories around. I had the guys helping with drinks keep it shut two thirds of the way to prevent this but keep some air flow. Oh Jerry had a comment about that too. Towards the half way point I saw that Jerrys family was helping himself to our canned beer and drinks! I found it a little ironic that he wasn't a fan of the canned beer. He sure didn't mind drinking it! Anyway, find a place that is accommodating and helpful. When a person would like some customer service when it's being paid for, they should be able to get it. All Jerry kept saying at the end was, stack the chairs like you found it. We have class and are respectful, like we were going to tear anything up. Please be aware of what you are getting into if you decide to use this place.

Would not recommend at all

I would give this place 0 stars if I could. Would not recommend this venue to anyone getting married.
The setting is beautiful with the mountains and red rocks surrounding. That's the only positive thing I can say about this venue.
The ladies restroom is in the bridal suite so the bridal party kept getting intruded on while trying to get dressed. There is no AC to make it comfortable for the bride. It was extremely hot in there even with fans blowing. Would not recommend getting ready there if you want your hair and makeup to look decent.
The reception area was also boiling as the only way to get air in was to open up the garage doors and if we did that then everything would have blown off the tables.
The owner, wow! He thinks because he owns the venue that he gets to have a say in every part of the wedding. He was extremely rude. Didn't want to help set up but sure wanted to give his opinion on it. When the food arrived he had to redo the set up that the caterer finished making dinner an hour later than scheduled. He wanted to keep half the food back in the kitchen instead of having it out like the caterer set it. He made ridiculous demands about clean up but again didn't help just wanted to bark orders.

Do not book this venue. We were recent guests here, and were treated like complete trash. I don't know how this guy is in business for hosting weddings!!!

Don't let the beauty of the venue fool you - the owners are incredibly rude. They were micromanaging from the very beginning. They harped on us for filling water pitchers on tables even though we brought our own water. They would not let us set up chairs for more than 75% of our guests because "there is no way everyone will show up," even though we had 100% of people plus some show up! We tried to set up a table for the unexpected guests but he refused until we simply did it ourselves. He stated we could not use our roasting pans because he did not have enough power due to our band, even though he knew about all of this before the event. At 8 pm he was complaining that there is no way we would have the venue cleaned in time, although we had booked it until 11 pm. He even went as far as purposefully turning on the sprinklers before 9 pm while all of my family was playing football and socializing in the field!! He stated he should charge for trash, told random guests to pick up items, and eventually made our wedding planner so mad she had to leave the event for fear she would blow up on him. He didn't congratulate the bride or groom, did not thank either family for their business, and quite frankly is a miserable person who should not be involved in events that are supposed to bring happiness and joy.
