If you only read the first sentence of this review, you MUST book MC Events Co. for your wedding DJ! Working with them was the best from start to finish. Our wedding was August 23, 2024.
After initially contacting MC Events Co., Matthew set up a consultation to go through everything the company offers. He shared ideas for the evening, how he envisioned helping with announcements to keep things on track, and so much more. He was so genuinely full of excitement seeing the potential in our wedding night that we knew we had to immediately book!

MC Events Co. pricing is reasonable and clearly explained.
Filling out Matthew’s questionnaire was a breeze. It was so thorough too.
We had a preference of booking local vendors in Colorado Springs, since that’s where we’ve found our home and built our community. Not only does Matthew live in Colorado Springs with his family, his DJ company hosts local events to bring people together!
Matthew had experience working at our venue, Spruce Mountain Ranch. Having him know the gist of what a wedding day looks like there was a relief for us.
We are gay women, so having an LGBTQ-friendly DJ was essential. We were extremely comfortable working with Matthew and I highly recommend MC Events Co. to other LGBTQ+ couples that are getting married.
Wedding day was PERFECT. For the ceremony, he set up mics and a speaker, and we had zero technical difficulties. Cocktail hour and dinner music was lovely (we told him that was all DJ’s choice), and Matthew made all the announcements needed to keep the night progressing.
Matthew kept the speeches running smoothly. Something really special that stood out to us for the night is when my wife’s sister gave a speech. Her sister has disabilities and is in a wheelchair. Matthew crouched next to her, holding the handheld mic for her, for the entire 8 minute speech. That wasn’t something we asked for ahead of time, that’s just the kindness he has!
Our dance floor was PURE ENERGY! We had an ambitious amount of must-play songs, and he brought our vision to life. I cannot stress this enough - he was not simply running through a playlist. He perfectly curated what songs to play when. Everything flowed. The dance floor never lulled. No song was played too long or too short. When he played my mom’s favorite wedding song, The Cupid Shuffle, he even got on the dance floor and joined the line dance, keeping up the energy. In the later part of the night when the older crowd had left, the songs he played were perfect for the younger crowd still on the dance floor. I lost count of how many people complimented the DJ. I know he received compliments from everyone of all ages, and that is an accomplishment!
Having the right DJ can make or break a wedding. Matthew executed every detail without error, every conversation with kindness. We will be forever grateful he DJ’ed our wedding!

MCEvents was fantastic! Matt and Chris went above and beyond for our daughter’s wedding— capturing beautiful photos throughout the day and absolutely nailing the vibe as DJs at the reception. Matthew was incredibly kind, patient, and professional when we met to discuss our wedding. He took the time to meet with me, and then again with my fiancé and I, to explain the process and answer all of our questions. He was also flexible with his pricing since we had an odd scenario. I HIGHLY recommend working with MC Events! My husband and I got married 9 months ago and I still receive compliments on our DJ! :) -

Matthew from MC Events Co was one of our two favorite vendors for our September wedding in Dillon/Silverthorne! He was actually recommended to us by another DJ who was already booked, and we are so glad he was. After our first call with him, we were sold—my husband even commented on how professional and organized Matthew was, and we felt like we were in good hands.
We had a smedium wedding (44 people) and mostly wanted to pick our own music. So many people told us that to save money, we could just make playlists and skip having a DJ/MC—but I am SO glad we did not do that! Matthew did way more than just hit play; he really made the whole night go smoothly and stay on schedule. I had no idea what time it was or even where my phone was (lol), but he gave us a heads up before the important moments and kept us on track for the schedule we had reviewed together.
My husband and I are really into jam bands but also wanted to play music people would know and want to dance to at the reception. Even though we made playlists and chose most of the songs for each part of the day, Matthew totally got the vibe and filled in the rest with songs we had a blast dancing to. I now have a video of my dad’s air guitar solo to “Play That Funky Music,” and have Matthew to thank for that. My new sister-in-law, who LOVES to dance, was worried she wouldn’t know the songs we were playing, but she was on the dance floor all night singing along—and later complimented us on the variety and song selections.
Do yourself a favor and book vendors who are organized, professional, and actually listen to what you want. Matthew’s questionnaire really drills into what you’re looking for and makes sure your event is exactly what you want it to be. We skipped a lot of the cheesy/traditional stuff but loved the anniversary dance and group photo idea. The whole day just really felt like us, and I know it wouldn’t have been as stress-free without the vendor team we had.

We have requested a number of their services, and they have always exceeded our expectations! We were blessed to have Christopher as our MC/DJ during our wedding. He was so personable and helped create a fun environment for our reception. MC Events Co. was a great company to work with. They helped relieve so much stress that I had as the bride. They were so willing to move to different locations for the ceremony and reception. I had so many guests at our wedding comment on how awesome Christopher was. I would highly recommend MC Events Co. to anyone and book them again in a heartbeat. Made Our Wedding a Magical Affair!
We selected MC Events for our Harry Potter themed summer wedding and they were amazing from start to finish! They communicated so well from the get go, coordinated throughout the process, and when the day came everything MC related was so flawless and our reception was absolutely a blast. 10/10 would recommend for any event! -

IT WAS AN ABSOLUTE BLAST having MC Events Co. be a part of my very special day. I love how organized they were before and on the day of the wedding. We got an on a video call so that they could introduce themselves, their business, everything they could provide, and even assisted with the wedding ceremony itinerary and music queues. Christopher M. was my Master of Ceremonies and DJ on the day of my wedding! He along with his co-worker, Ruben T. , did an AMAZING job, especially during our reception making sure everyone and I mean Everyone had a blast on the Dancefloor (Including myself as you see in our pic). I have referred Matt and MC Events to several events. One to include my best friends wedding, in which I officiated, and I can not express my sincerest gratitude to how detail-oriented, efficient, and insanely AMAZING this company is. When my co-officiater got a flat tire and had to change it in the rain, Matt made sure the reception moved forward by bringing us up to speed on what's coming next and suggestioned on change of course to make it all go smooth without the bride and groom's knowledge. I'm a wedding coordinator in the Colorado Springs area, and have had the immense pleasure of working with the MC Events team on numerous occasions. Earlier this month, I was lucky enough to invite them to be a part of my sister's wedding, and I cannot begin to express the gratitude I have for Matthew, Chris, Shaina, and the rest of the MC Events team. Knowing what a significant role music has played over the course of my sister and her new husband's relationship, and what an integral part it was going to play in bringing their dream wedding day to life, it gave me so much peace of mind having Matthew and the team on my side. They were incredibly communicative throughout the entirety of the planning process, and took the time to get to know my sister and her husband and their music preferences. I even asked Matthew to help me pull off a last minute surprise music transition during our grand entrance, and he executed my vision flawlessly with absolutely no notice. I have endless praise for their team, and could go on, but I'll summarize by saying this: for couples looking to plan a bangin' party, with music perfectly punctuating one of the most significant moments of your life, there's no one I would trust more, and no one I'd recommend more highly than MC Events! -

Matthew with MC Events was great to work with from the start. From our first video chat he helped us talk through the whole process, his timeline, what he does as an MC, and a DJ, and things he can help add to our wedding. Matthew was great at communicating through the whole process, and answering any questions that we may have.
The day of our wedding we received many compliments from our friends and family on Matthew's MC and DJ skills. He did such a great job as we did have a unique wedding. Matthew was able to pick a variety of songs that kept my aunts out on the floor, to getting the impossible boys out onto the floor, and even let me throw in a Disney song. I would highly recommend Matthew and his team. -

Booked MC events for DJ/MC services and Photo Booth for my wedding in Colorado Springs. They were a preferred vendor for our venue. From the beginning, Matthew was very responsive and incredibly helpful. We had a meeting to go over what we wanted before booking, and he was able to provide a lot of insight and suggestions on areas we weren't sure on yet. He is not only a very talented DJ but also a great MC. He kept our event flowing and was able to execute everything we had planned on. Our guests has a great time dancing, and we even used one of his created song mashups for our finale dance! As for the Photo Booth, it was definitely a must have for our event. We opted for the photo book and that was one of the best decisions ever. We got a copy of every photo booth picture taken during the night, with some notes from our guests. It was amazing to look through it after our wedding. Overall highly recommend MC Events! -

The team of folks who make up MC Events are some of the most genuine people I've ever worked with. They strive to go above and beyond for each client, and are SO detail-oriented when it comes to capturing and helping create memories. Chris was our wedding photographer, and each and every shot was full of joy and pure emotion. He even took time a few weeks following our wedding to drive my husband and I to Breckenridge and help us create even more intimate and gorgeous fall leaf wedding photos, after spending an afternoon doing some additional family photos!
We couldn't be happier, as this was the most special day of our lives. MC Events was able to capture all of that day for us, in the most fun and interactive way possible! We can't thank Chris enough for his hard work! -

As the bride, I cannot express the gratitude I have for Matt and Chris - they were the best MC duo a bride and groom could ever ask for! I thought the wedding and reception were flawlessly smooth, beautiful, fun, and unforgettable. But it's the little things that I remember most: how Matt sacrificed his suit jack to make sure my dress didn't get messed up as I knelt on the floor for our foot washing ceremony; how Chris got some of the best shots from his hidden cameras; how Matt was a true master, confident and cool, over the entire event; how Chris willingly captured every requested shot and angle; and how they both conspired with the guests to surprise us with a decorated getaway car.
As the groom I can say I loved having Matt and Chris do our wedding. Matt and Chris were impeccable in their communication to ensure the evening went exactly how we wanted. It was more than I could have asked for. Matt also, is elite at keeping the crowd involved and excited. Not to mention a great feel for which songs to play when. Chris did an awesome job capturing pictures at the best times. Our photos and videos look excellent thanks to him. He also helped keep people excited and to keep the event running smooth. I would give 10 stars out of 5 if I could! -

I can't recommend MC Events Co enough! The level of professionalism we received from start to end made our big day a breeze. Matt went above and beyond as a DJ helping us nail down a timeline making everything run smoothly. He was very knowledgeable, organized, and easy to communicate with. Chris did a great job with our wedding photos, and video. He really captured a lot of perfect moments that we will treasure forever.
