Mayus Cakes is amazing!

This was the best wedding cake I have ever had and even after waiting to year 2 years to eat it again after the tasting it was still amazing and she is very sweet, nice, professional and caring. I will be coming back to her for future events!

Unbelievable delicious

Mayus cakes are not only beautiful but delicious. Many options to pick from! Everybody in my wedding complimented us as the best wedding cake they have ever had. Seriously!!!

Maria outdid herself with our wedding cakes! not only did they look great but they tasted absolutely amazing! Our display cake was red velvet with white chocolate ginoche. It was delicious. we also had a vanilla rum cake with chocolate ginoche, that was exquisite! The cakes were super moist and complimented or dinner very well. Thank you so much Maria!!

This cake was a show stopper that not only delivered visually but also surprised in flavor and moistness! We would definitely recommend and will order future cakes as needed for celebrations to come!!!

Maria was amazing to work with. She responded to my inquiry right away which had not been my experience with others. She offered great suggestions and listened to all of my ideas as well to create my vision. The designs were beautiful, it was almost sad to see the cakes cut up! We were lucky enough to a different flavor combination for each of the cake tiers. The fillings were indulgent and the cake incredibly moist. Our guests couldn't have been happier with their dessert.

Asking Maria to make our wedding cake was one of the best decisions we could have ever made. Working with her was such a joy and she made it so easy for us. From the beginning, she returned emails really fast, picked up phone calls and never left us questioning if we could get a hold of her.
Maria went above and beyond in making sure that she was going the right direction with what she wanted. She showed us previous cakes she had done to give us an idea of what she could do for us. She sketched ours and gave us advice on a few things that we had no idea what to do!
The tasting that she provided us with gave us peace of mind that we were getting what flavors we wanted, and of course... the cake tasted AMAZING. We were so excited to get to our actual wedding day because of how much we wanted more of that cake!
She was also flexible on the flavors of the fillings and made she we were getting exactly what we wanted.
One of our favorite things about Maria is how passionate she is about her cakes. From personally making the drive to our venue and setting up our cake, to placing the flowers and topper, Maria made sure everything was perfect. And it was.
The cake itself came out better than we could have imagined, it tased incredible and we could not stop looking over at it and saying “look how beautiful it is!”

Maria from Mayus Cakes is the way to go. Period.

Mayus Cakes made my boyfriends birthday complete! The communication while designing the cake was easy and stress free. The cake was delivered to a hotel in Miami where we I was having the party which added much convenience to the process. Everyone that saw the cake couldn't help but stop and comment or ask to take a picture. I will definitely use Mayu's Cakes again in the Future!

I usually don't like those type of cakes. Because they look good and the taste not quite to par. However with Mayus Cakes not only was the cake beautiful; it tasted awesome. Thank you for making my wife bday a success

Maria captured exactly what I wanted. The Cake was so beautiful. We had a 2 tier cake and the flavors were amazing. All my guests complemented the cake. I will use Mayus Cakes for all my special occasions. Delivery was on time.

My husband and i were so happy with our decision to have Mayus Cakes make our wedding cake. The owner Maria is amazing to work with and is extremely talented. On the wedding day we had so many complinents on the taste and appearance of our cake. By far the best cake i have ever had and will absolutely get a Mayus cake for any future events.

AMAZING!!! 5 stars isn't enough. Customer service impeccable! Communication exceptional! The quality of the detail was superb! The texture of the fondant and taste were great! The cake was a vanilla bean cake with white chocolate ganache filling. Wonderful flavor combination! The care and hard work which Maria did just flowed through. Tear came to the happy parents eyes. I was really surprised by Mayu. I got to her office with a thousand ideas, but I was no 100% sure of what I wanted. She was very patience and help me to figure out what was that I really wanted. She made a promises and she delivered. Excellent taste, excellen decoration, excellent delivery! She make a different a in my wedding! I love her and I will always recommended. Now I am planning to order my first baby cake!

Mayu's Cakes are absolutely INCREDIBLE! I asked her to make a cake for my 30th birthday. As a cake baker myself, I am picky about my cakes, but her cakes are gorgeous and tasty. Guests were raving and I savored every bite- incredibly moist, vibrant flavors...even the fondant (which I usually prefer not to eat) was delicious. If you can get one of her cakes, you will not soon be disappointed.

la busqueda de un buen cake que no fuera increiblemente costoso fue dificil. Pero cuando encontramos a mayus cakes ns dimos cuenta que no es impossible. Nuestro pastel fue de cinco pizos, en foundad y fie lleno de flores por que nos gusta las flores. Era hermoso por fuera y delicioso por dentro. Escogimos 2 typos de pasteles y ella logro hacer combinaciones que fueron deliciosas. Unos pizos fueron echos de la tipica torta de novia colombiana (ummM) no la habia probado antes pero me encanto. los otros pizos fueron de pastel blancocon ron y un poco de arequipe. No hay palabras para decirle que ese pastel estava delicioso. No lo pienzen mas y llamen a Mayus Cakes

We searched very hard for a vendor that would make a beautiful and delicious cake. In the end we chose Maria because she had exquisite samples, a diverse portfolio, and a competitive price. We were looking for a baker that could make a traditional Colombian Torta Negra (black cake), and she nailed it. We usually don’t care for fondant but hers was exquisite. She personally performs the cake decoration and it was stunning. The cake was decorated beautifully with fresh flowers. We are still getting rave reviews about our wedding cake. We would hire her again in a flash.

I would highly recommend #MayusCakes they are so professional and resoniablely priced! Maria is super friendly! She is so creative. You can give her your vision of what you want, and she will create it! She is such an artist! And loves what she does. And that shows in her work. I'm past my first anniversary and I still daydream about the flavor of my wedding cake. Maria is so kind and professional! Mayu was one of the best choices we made for our wedding! The day we did our cake tasting we were pleased with her service. From the taste of the three choices to her sweet personality, we felt "safe" trusting her handle our wedding cake. Her cakes are so moist and filling are sweet to perfection. Mayu's cakes made a beautiful, elegant and delicious cake for my daughter's First Holy Communion.

Maria Eugenia is one of the most talented women I have ever met! Not only does she create cakes that are so amazing and jaw dropping that you really wonder if they are real or not! And yes, they are all completely edible and how delicious they are. She went out of her way to find a specific spice cake recipe I fell in love with from a baker in Oxford and worked to duplicate the flavor for us. It came out even better! Our wedding cake was beautiful and absolutely delicious and the groom's cake was the. best. groom's. cake. ever! I gave her a challenge and she surpassed all my expectations. Thank you!

As soon as I contacted Maria by phone, she was pleasant and easy to deal with. She responded to my emails quickly and provided a very reasonable estimate.

When the cake arrived right on time, on the day of the wedding, I was absolutely thrilled. It was exactly as I had imagined and very beautiful. It tasted delicious too!

I am so pleased that I chose Mayu's Cakes to make my wedding cake, Maria was fantastic and I have no hesitation in recommending her to anyone!

Maria of Mayus Cakes is a true professional! I used Maria for both my Brial Shower and my Wedding cake.
Both cakes were beautiful and absolutely delishes!!! Maria's cakes are soft and moist, I just cant get enough of her Amaretto Chocolate Cake with Ganache filling!!! I went to several other popular bakeries in the area and the quality of service and taste of the cakes just did not compare to Mayus Cakes.
I look forward to using Maria again for our next family event.
My cousin just used Maria for her own wedding cake last week, our family is hooked on Mayus Cakes!

My husband and I were so happy with the airplane groom's cake that we had asked for. The cake was flawless, all the details that we had asked for were done with such finesse and ease. The cake was so pretty to look at that the guests couldn't stop taking pictures and they did not want us to cut it on our wedding day. So we ended up cutting the cake with our parents the following day, not only was it pretty to look at but the cake was moist and delicious. We would recommend this vendor to anyone getting married or looking for a good cake baker and decorator. We'll definitely make sure to contact Mayus Cakes for cakes in the near future :)

This is the by far the best wedding cake place in the city. They have interesting flavours as well as the classics. The cupcakes are moist and the icings are not to sweet and always creamy. They also have a good array of other baked goods like cookies and macaroon.

What more can I say than she is the best! Maria was so great to work with, she took my vision and made it a reality. My bridal shower and wedding cake where more than what I hoped for. I wanted clear separators for my wedding cake and she had no quams about getting them made. After the tasting I knew she was the one, the different flavors and fillings where awesome. I fell in love with the vanilla rum and my husband the chocolate. My guest at both events could not stop raving about how delicious and moist the cakes where. When I wanted to change the color and my designs days before the big event she was more than gracious, she is professional to the T. I am a very picky person, so I know great people when I meet them. I can't wait for her to do my baby shower next! :)

Besides my dress, my wedding cake was very important to me. Luckily, through my hair and make-up artist, I was referred to Mayu's Cakes. The day I met Maria, there was an instant connection and I knew I made the right choice. From her professionalism to her pride when baking cakes. She uses nothing but the finest ingredients. She is talented and we had a lot of fun creating my wedding cake. And although I had an idea as to what it would look like, when I first set eyes on it at the reception, my eyes teared up. I thought to myself, it is absolutely beautiful. Since then, Mayu's Cakes has been my selected vendor for all my cake needs and we have become good friends.

Maria from Mayus cakes was wonderful and very professional. She has a great personality which makes working with her to get the vision for my wedding cake very easy.

Maria, I want to thank you for creating such a beautiful cake. It fit the vintage enchanted forest theme perfectly! The details on the leaves and the overall look of the cake really showcase your skill as a cake decorator, and the cake itself was a hit, there was not a slice left at the end of the night! Maria is a complete sweetheart and a stellar professional. From the moment we had our tasting we knew she was the one for us, not only are her cakes amongst the BEST we have ever had but her professionalism, impecable sense of style and class outshine the rest. Our dream cakes were made a reality, and there were Absolutely NO LEFTOVERS! Everyone had 2nds and 3rds the cakes were so good! We had the Chocolate Orange cake with Chocolate Ganache Filling for the Grooms cake and Black Forest Cake and Almong White Chocolate Ganache for the Brides Cake. She captured my idea perfectly and executed it with nothing but grace and sheer talent. Thank you so much Maria!!!

I found Mayu's Cakes on Yelp.com. I contacted Maria, the owner, about 3 months prior to my wedding date and she responded very quickly. We were able to design our wedding cake by communicating by email over several weeks, which was very helpful as I did not have a lot of free time to visit vendors (although I would have liked to). Although we paid more than we were expecting to, the cake was absolutely beautiful and tasted incredible. My guests loved it. Maria was a pleasure to work with, always replying very promptly and being flexible.
