I would recommend Barbara to any brides (or really anyone) looking for a makeup artist in Puerto Rico. From the first consultation to the big day, she was so great. She knew the vision I had and fully executed it. My sisters looked amazing as well. Bonus points because our hair and makeup stayed all day and night (through many tears and rain showers). -

Barbara and her team did an amazing job for my wedding. She and her assistant did hair and makeup for five us, including the bride and flower girl, and every single one was stunning. She really really listened to each person and everyone's makeup and hair suited them so well. As someone who doesn't often wear makeup, I was nervous about it looking too heavy on my wedding day, but the look she did made me feel so beautiful--it was classic and subtle. After the ceremony, I changed my dress and she quickly changed my hair into a gorgeous updo that I also loved. She was a joy to work with--easy to talk to, friendly, and extremely professional. I cannot recommend her enough, and even without doing a trial, she was able to do exactly what I envisioned. I couldn't be happier with her work. -

30 Year vow renewal
I was coming to Puerto Rico for my vow renewal and I reached out to Barbara for hair and makeup. She was quick to respond with my concerns of date, time and even educated me on beach weddings for hair and makeup. The day of as she said she enhanced my beauty. I love the way she did my makeup. I do have mature skin and hooded eyes but somehow she made me look 10 years younger. I am 52 and she made me feel beautiful. Thank you Barbara! -

We had a wonderful experience with Bárbara. I found her through wedding wire and seeing her work on instagram. I knew her work was right for me! Not only that but she’s very kind and extremely professional! She did an elegant up do for my mother and MOH and a delicate half up half down for my bridal hairstyle. Bárbara made sure we were happy with our looks and was kind enough to make adjust to any minor details we wanted adjusted. Our hair styles stayed put all night long! Highly recommend Bárbara to any bride in Puerto Rico! -

Barbara literally did the BEST makeup we've EVER HAD!!! Everyone kept commenting on how it only added to my natural features and only enhanced my true look. My now husband doesn't like makeup and was taken away by the look. And not to mention the hair, I told Barbara my vision and she PERFECTED IT!! My makeup experience couldn't have been any better. Her professionalism and how personable she is made me forget I was mere hours from getting married and allowed me to relax. Barbara was there from start to finish!!! I wish I could've packed her up and flew her back to Florida!!! I couldn't have asked for more!!! 1000 STARS 🌟 🤩

Boho/glam bridal look
I looked absolutely STUNNING for my wedding!! Barbara is so personable I wanted to be friends with her afterwards! We did a trial run and perfected the look then on the day of the wedding with some minor tweaks, I looked better than I ever imagined. I almost did my own hair and makeup for the day and I’m so glad I didn’t. Barbara made my bridal look dreams come true! -

Absolutely amazing experience! We all know wedding can be stressful but she definitely made me feel at ease, made me feel like a close friend of mines was doing my hair & makeup, all while still being very professional. Final look was exactly what I wanted.

Barbara was an absolute joy to work with, from beginning to end! She is very professional. Some parts of planning a destination wedding is difficult, and she made the hair and makeup process so much easier. She makes sure to give you a call to go over the contract. And she is always there with any ideas you have. She also searches and sends inspo to you too. Everyone in my wedding, including our moms, felt beautiful. She made the getting ready process so fun and seeing everybody all dolled up was so special. -

I reached out to Barbara for hair and makeup for my wedding on 2/2/24 and she was so incredible to work with! From the start, she was great with communication and continued to be throughout the process. I planned my wedding in San Juan from Chicago, so I was nervous about finding someone I could work well with from afar and who could accommodate both my wedding date and a last-minute trip for a H&M trial. Barbara was great at taking my inspiration photos and talking through ideas with me both at my H&M trial and how she could make any edits I wanted for the big day. She was so professional, and a delight to spend time with. I highly recommend working with her for any hair and makeup services! She and her associate made me and my bridal party look incredible for my wedding, I couldn't have been happier with how everything turned out! -

I was looking for hair and makeup artist at the very last minute for our wedding coming up in less than a month. I found Mayoral beauty on WeddingWire and reach out to her. She responded right away and I was able to book the services within two days.
We got married in Vieques, she traveled all the way from San Juan and showed up to our venue at 7:30am! The weather was not so good and I was so worried the whole time, she stayed calm and tried to cheer me up. Then the rain came pouring down while she was putting on my makeup, we had all the window blinds open and the wind was blowing all the rain into the house. She ran to shut the blinds and when she turned back around, she was soaked! Then she just wiped off her face and kept on doing her thing. She told me that the rainbow will come after the rain. And there was a big rainbow during our ceremony!
During our consultation I told her that I don’t normally wear makeup and I hate how foundation feels on my face. She told me not to worry. And she was right! The foundation was flawless and I didn’t feel a thing!
My hair also stayed up all night even with crazy wind on the hill constantly blowing my cathedral-length veil. I even jumped into the pool at the end of the night. And the makeup and hair were still looking great!
Barbara is professional and friendly, she’s also great at doing her job!! I highly recommend her for your events!!! -
