Tasting experience!
We just finished a phenomenal wedding tasting with Maya Rosa! They were so kind and flexible with our style and the food was incredible! You can tell they’re passionate about what they do and it definitely came through in the food! Absolutely delicious! Hoping to continue working with them and recommend them for anyone who has a specific idea for their special event! -

Today 5/10 - We have officially booked Maya Rosa after our tasting I fell in love with their menu online and trying it in person only made me love them more! Delicious food and an amazing variety of food to please anyone, I have been in a lot of communication with Kendall she is so sweet and personable I am so excited to have them at our wedding. We loved everything we sampled but our top highlights are the anti-pasta, wine braised short ribs, Mojo Pork, the Mac and cheese and Maduros!! -

Our criteria in selecting Maya Rosa for our wedding were based on: diverse food options and flavors, vegan/vegetarian selections, affordability, professionalism, and familiarity with our venue. We attended the tasting a week ago and my family and I were impressed with the food and presentation. We could imagine how delicious our guests would find the food! We also love how hands on the chef/owner is! He seems genuine and passionate about his food and the experience! We went to our first tasting ever with Maya Rosa and knew immediately that we didn't need to try anywhere else. Plenty of great options to choose from, and everything was fresh and delicious! The Chef and staff are so friendly and easy to work with. Our tasting session was private, and we were served by the head chef / owner himself, which was very nice. We didn't feel rushed or pressured at any point, and truly enjoyed the experience. Can't wait for the actual day! -

Maya Rosa catered my birthday dinner, and I was absolutely blown away! Miguel is incredibly talented—he made a banana peel taste like candy! I’m not usually a fan of pork tenderloin, but wow, his was absolutely delicious. Just thinking about all the amazing food is making me hungry again!
Every dish was incredibly delicious, and he went above and beyond to accommodate all my guests’ dietary needs.
I’ll definitely be booking him for future events! -

Miguel and his team at Maya Rosa catered our wedding (12/7/24). Not only was everyone raving about his food, but his service was impeccable. It was miles above standard. For example, our coordinator was supposed to have someone bring us food (or herself) during cocktail hour, which never happened. When we did our reveal to see our venue, we saw Miguel and when he asked how cocktail food was, we told him we didn’t get to try it. No questions asked Miguel dropped what he was doing to go make us a platter to eat. We were just about to make our entrance to reception so we couldn’t try it then and there, but he made sure it was at our sweetheart table ready to go when we finally sat down.
Throughout my whole wedding process, Miguel and his team were easy to reach and super helpful. He always made sure to read my emails carefully to ensure every question (and believe me there were many) was answered appropriately and with detail.
We even switched our menu on him almost 6 months before our wedding and he honored our original price, AND because our tasting with him was the day before our venue open house, he also honored a discount for using him at our venue.
Miguel also provided wonderful service during our tasting. We booked him almost 1.5 years before our wedding and he treated us as though the wedding was in a month. He was passionate about his food, his career, his background, and we hit it off right away!
Thank you so so much for being our caterer and for all you have done for us. We have had some negative experiences over the years with the food industry and you really showed us that good people still exist and aren’t money hungry. We can’t thank you enough for all you’ve done and believe us, we WILL be using you for future events/house parties!! We also thank your team for their hard work making sure our guests were happy. Your team was constantly moving compared to others and we took notice to that! -
