Maya was an incredible photographer for our wedding. From the start they were great to work with in deciding what we wanted to capture for our photos. They stuck with us through the re-scheduling and venue changes, the coordination with other vendors, and other challenges we had along the way. Our photos turned out so gorgeous and they really understood our style and vision. As a queer photographer themselves, they understood that we had some non-traditional aspects to our wedding that we really wanted to celebrate. After our wedding they did a great job of letting us know when to expect photos, and took extra care to make sure everyone could access the photos. Maya is a great photographer and would highly recommend to a friend. -

Maya was our photographer for our wedding on 11.18.2023, and they were above and beyond what we ever dreamed! While looking for a photographer, we were drawn to Maya’s editing style that makes colors pop, and WOW! Our pictures did not disappoint! Their editing is what drew us to them, but their personality, professionalism, and expertise really helped make our wedding day so absolutely perfect & special! My husband and I had no experience with professional pictures, but Maya provided crystal clear prompts that turned into STUNNING pictures! They also sent us our sneak peek the day after our wedding, which was an amazing gift because neither of us had taken any pictures during our wedding! We can’t wait for our full gallery reveal!
Maya was also very accommodating – our wedding was on Light Up Night, and we had a view of the fireworks from our venue. Maya and Michael stayed late to capture some gorgeous photos of us with the fireworks in the background! We can’t wait to see how they turned out – with Maya’s colorful editing style, we know they’re going to be absolutely breathtaking!
In addition to being phenomenal photographers, Maya and their second shooter/partner Michael brought impeccable vibes to our wedding day – they matched our energy and kept it going all night long! They were never in the way, but still managed to capture beautiful moments with our loved ones. We would recommend Maya to anyone & everyone who needs professional photography services!! -

Maya was incredible! When my husband and I were researching vendors to hire for our wedding, it was important for us to find someone who could best understand our needs as a mixed race gay couple. Maya went above and beyond with those expectations. Their photos really captured the magic of the day, and Maya was very efficient, professional, and helped bring out the best reactions during the shoots around Pittsburgh. We are hoping to hire them again for a Michigan reception next year, would highly recommend to anyone looking to get married, regardless of scale. -

I could not have asked for a better photographer in any respect. Maya is extremely communicative, warm, welcoming, and damn good at what they do. I was incredibly nervous selecting a photographer because I had no idea what I was doing. During my first meeting with Maya, they put me completely at ease and walked me through the process, their photography philosophy, figured out what my spouse and I would/wouldn’t like in our photos, and even helped us get a sense of how our day’s timeline would go. Since we planned the entire wedding ourselves, their help even from this first meeting was invaluable.
Maya and their partner the day-of were an absolute blast to have at the event. Even the usual stiff family formal photos felt fun and organic with their guidance, and they were always up for impromptu shots and suggestions. They make sure that their work is organic, dynamic, and really captures the essence of the couple’s relationship. I asked them to use my Polaroid alongside their professional gear and they were really enthusiastic about the prospect, so now I have a set of killer Polaroids in addition to their amazing high definition work.
My spouse and I will absolutely be going back to Maya in the future for more photography. Some advice: Don’t waste your time shopping around with other photographers. If you’ve found Maya, you’ve found the perfect wedding photographer. -

Amazing Photographer!
Wow! We loved working with Maya. They were so helpful, kind, and reassuring. They went above and beyond, sending a handmade wedding guide, helping with the timeline, offering advice on stylistic choices... Absolutely incredible. AND THE PHOTOS! The photos are gorgeous and feel accurate to the personalities of my husband/me.
I can't recommend Maya (and Michael) enough -- book them, you won't regret it! -

Maya is phenomenal, truly best-in-class. They are so personable and we vibed together pretty quickly. Their response time to questions and emails is unmatched, even before signing a contract. Every piece of paperwork or payment was organized in one place and easy to refer to later on; as a bride with anxiety this gave me so much peace of mind right off the bat.
Working with Maya on our engagement shoot and then throughout the wedding day was a dream. They are happy to follow our lead when it comes to capturing organic moments but are always ready to jump in and nudge us in a direction as needed. Their partner Michael joined us on wedding day and both of them were so organized and professional throughout the whole day. You can see that they get excited about the work and have passion, and that comes through in the photos they take. Send Maya your weird nuanced little details, they got so excited with us and paid attention to what made us excited so they could capture it!
So far my husband and I have loved our engagement photos and the sneak peek of wedding photos we got. There are so many little candid moments that were captured and we get to see now, and we love that authentic documentary style of photography. We cannot wait to get our photos back!
I'm so glad we brought them in to our vendor team for our wedding day, and you will be too :) -

Maya was the photographer for my fall 2021 wedding and it was a phenomenal experience. I'd highly recommend them!
A few highlights:
-Maya is so good at flat lays and detail shots. I'm a bookworm, and they brought old book pages to use in one of the detail shots.
-I love the way our wedding photos incorporate color.
-My partner and I are both ridiculous, and Maya was able to catch so many shots of us making each other laugh. Those were our favorites. Our personalities really came through in the photos.
-The album we ordered came out so well. -

A Dream Come True!!
There are not enough stars in the world to give Maya and their assistant Anne!! My wife and I hired them for our wedding, and they absolutely outdid themself. They were professional, timely, and incredibly fun to be around!! We even had a little mixup with family photos, and they worked through it with ease and grace. They never stressed anyone out either, which is HUGE for an event as big as a wedding. I honestly would have loved having them there as invited guests, photography aside!
I’d be remiss to not mention the final photos—we have received a handful of edited photos to share with family, and they are GORGEOUS. Everybody we’ve shown them to has commented on how beautifully they turned out, and oh my god they really did!! Maya is absolutely worth every penny you pay for them and more. I cannot recommend them enough for your photography needs!!! ❤️❤️❤️ -

Stunning work, Really captured our special day
Maya was beyond what we hoped for in a wedding photographer. We are a mixed race couple, so having a photographer that could capture different skin tones was the most important thing for us, and Maya was amazing. We also used bold fall colors, and Maya's photography captured that beautifully. They were always quick to respond to questions and made the whole planning process very simple. Maya and their second shooter were so much fun to work with while still clearly professional and in charge; we were laughing with them all day but still ran right on schedule! They were also great and very patient with older family members. They got us preview images very quickly that were STUNNING. We will always recommend them for any professional photography needs! -
