Highly recommend max!

Max was fanastic! He was a complete professional from day one! He was recommended to me by a previous employer and I would recommend him to anyone! He is priced fairly and his team did a great job on the day of and during the photo booth. He made you feel completely comfortable for engagement pictures (because we aren't used to getting that many photos taken!). He had lots of fun photo ideas and a great eye. Max is also a kind and fun person. I got a lot of compliments from my party and guests about how great he was! Once we got the pictures (in less than 2 weeks!) we were so thrilled with out they turned out. He captured every detail from the entire day! Cannot say enough about Max and his company. Thank you

Max is amazing

If I could give Max a 20/10 I definitely would! Max is AMAZING and I am so thankful he was my photographer for both engagement & wedding pictures! With 2000+ pictures given to me (within 3 weeks of my wedding day), it is so hard to pick a favorite! Max is creative, professional, has an eye for detail & is also FUN! He has great communication skills with his clients and truly tailors to you and your photography style! I had so many friends, family members, & other guests compliment Max and his skills during the ceremony/reception. He is somehow everywhere to capture all of the special moments throughout the day, but blends in! I cannot express my gratitude towards Max for his hard work, and will definitely be using him in the future for any other photography needs I have!

When we first started out the blissful mission of planning our wedding, we initially hired a different photographer (who shall remain nameless). When we got our images back from our engagement session, we knew we had to find someone new. Obviously, we were a little jaded after the first experience, but that all changed when we found Maxim Photo Studio. From the moment we first spoke with Max, he put us at ease and made the process not only less stressful, but fun. Max re-shot our engagement session, did the wedding, and then did a post-wedding shoot. The process was quick, easy, and very professionally done. Planning a wedding can be a painful process, so I really can't say enough about how important to us it was that Max and his team made sure that the photos were really the last thing we had to worry about. What I haven't mentioned yet are the photos themselves. In a word, they're UNBELIEVABLE. Max and the team got great shots of every detail for all of our various sessions. The quality is amazing--he even made ME look good. Max is a truly innovative photographer; the shot that really amazed us was the drone shot at Ault Park. Totally awesome and not something you'll get from just anyone. Whatever event you're planning in the Cincinnati/Dayton area, there really is only one call you need to make to get the best photos possible. Call Maxim and they'll take it from there!

Before I chose a photographer I did my research and Maxim Photo Studio kept popping up as the best in the area. I will tell you that hiring Max as our wedding photographer was the best decision ever. He took the time to get to know us and helped figure out which "side is best" and which angle and pose was most flattering for us. No doubt weddings are stressful, but with Max by our side everything worked out seamlessly. There was a last minute venue change because the spot where we were going to have pictures was occupied. This fact was only known because he sent his second photographer down there earlier to scout it out. He figured out an alternate location and handled the timeline, and worked out the details with the limo driver and videographer. He remained professional amongst typical blended family drama and made sure that we stayed on track with time and took all the picture combinations I had listed. He is extraordinarily creative and responsive, a pleasure to work with. The pictures and angles he shot from were phenomenal. He caught every little detail and expression. I cannot say enough good things about Max. If you can, hire Max. You will not be disappointed. The reviews are right. He his the best.

WOW!!! Maxim Photography was the HARDEST working vendor we had the pleasure of working with as we prepared for our BIG Day. Max's communication is impeccable and practically instant. He is very responsive and truly listens and takes care of his clients. I never felt that he rushed us in and out. He wanted us to feel comfortable and made an effort to get to know us, know our story, and understand our wishes with our wedding photos. His laid-back, confident professionalism puts everyone at ease. He made us laugh and we had fun! Max and his team made us feel as though our wedding and the shots that were taken were of the utmost importance. He valued and achieved our design for our wedding photos. Max took the most beautiful engagement photos and had the best ideas for our second photo location. His enthusiasm is truly contagious and can be felt in everything he does! Max moves so seamlessly and he is organized and prepared so that he is able to maximize the photo time. He worked from sun up to well after dark the day of our wedding. His professionalism and quality of work is second to none! He did whatever it took to get the best shot. If that meant laying on the ground in the grass/dirt or floor he was going to do it without any hesitation. His artistic eye and perfectionism were incredible. My husband and our families are now reaping the rewards of his hard work. We will treasure these photos forever! I can't recommend Maxim Photo Studio enough. We knew we wanted Max shooting our wedding as soon as we met him. He's extremely detail-oriented, which is so important when it comes to a production such as a wedding. You can can tell from his questionnaires that he's very mindful of the bride and groom's vision of the wedding. He caps the number of weddings he shoots in a year, and focuses on providing quality service and a great experience for the client, which I really valued. I was also blown away by his quick turnaround time, from how quickly he responded to phone calls and emails, to how quickly he got our photos together to us. It really made us feel like valued clients. On our wedding day, we had a hiccup in our timeline (due to another vendor dropping the ball), but Max seamlessly moved things around and I never once felt like our photo timeline was even affected. You know you've got the full package when your photographer is detail-oriented, artistically talented, and provides a great customer experience.

If you are looking for the best in the business, look no further! Max takes his time with each client to understand their style, personality and specific wishes. From the moment we stepped into his studio to meet with him for the first time, we could tell that Max not only knew what he was doing with photography but that he cared whether or not he could meet our individual needs as our engagement/wedding photographer. My (now) husband hates having his picture taken, but after just a few minutes with Max he could tell that he was a very genuine, down-to-earth individual which put him at ease! With both our engagement session and our wedding, at no point did I feel as if he was counting minutes on the clock, only that he wanted to be sure every shot was captured perfectly- a true measure of quality. Keep in mind, when looking for a photographer you will generally get what you pay for- Max and his team are worth every penny! Pictures are the only tangible thing we will have to remember our big day, so we chose to make the investment in a great photographer and were not disappointed! My best friend/bridesmaid and her fiance hired Maxim Photo Studio to do their engagement session and wedding based on their experience with him at our wedding, and we are planning for Max to do our maternity shoot in the upcoming months. Repeat customers and referrals are the best compliment to a business.

Maxim Studio is hands-down the best choice for wedding photography in the Cincinnati/Dayton area. Max Surikov is not only extremely professional, but also very personable and makes sure that you're feeling completely comfortable while working he's with you. Working with him for the first time during our engagement shoot helped us get used to his style and he was super helpful with providing us with directions and clearly communicating his artistic vision. He made himself completely available to me and my husband, as we had several last-minute meetings with him leading up to our big day. During the weekend of our wedding, he went above and beyond to make sure he capture all of our special moments. Max is all about the little details and it is very apparent how passionate he is about his work in the stunning results he delivers. We were running late to our engagement photos and he was so kind and flexible about it! He had great quality of photos and a good mixture of candid shots as well as "posed" photos. He made us both feel so comfortable and made it fun (which we never thought photo shoots would be!). We have so many good engagement and wedding photos to look back on from the best day of our life. It was great knowing he was in charge of our photos because it was one less thing to stress about! Highly recommend.

Max is without a doubt the best wedding photographer in the Cincinnati area. His work is amazing, he did my engagement photos along with my wedding and reception and I love them all! He is very good at playing with light and reflections so you don't just get "standard" photos with him. It is evident that he is very passionate about his work and he has a great personality and is fun to work with. I don't particularly like getting my picture taken but Max really made me feel comfortable and made the process fun! We also had the photobooth at our reception which I highly recommend, it was so much fun (and got a little crazy)! And the photo books that you get are a great keepsake and high quality. I can't say enough good things about Max and his work, he is the best!

Max shot our wedding in July and we could not be more pleased with our choice to go with him! We knew right away at our first meeting with him that he was a professional, very organized and would deliver. We were not disappointed and have had so many people comment about how great he was at the wedding and also how beautiful our photos turned out. He was very efficient and we were able to go to 3 spots to take pictures after the church before our reception in less than two hours. Our photos were also delivered to us in just a couple weeks after the wedding which I know other couples have waited months! Also don't hesitate to spend the extra money to have him there all day with you and also for the live photo booth. My guests loved it and the 4x6 photos each guest got to take with them from the photo booth doubled as our favors. I would recommend Max to anyone and will hire him again if we need professional pictures done!

We absolutely loved having Max and his associates photograph our wedding day. The photos came out better than we imagined. Max made sure to take every family/friend portrait combination we wanted, as well as many candid shots throughout the ceremony and reception. He had some really creative ideas of his own for some beautiful shots of my husband and I on the best day of our lives. He kept us on schedule to get all the pictures we wanted before our ceremony, taking care to keep my husband and I separated before the ceremony. We went to different locations between the ceremony and reception to get some great shots of us and our wedding party. He drove to Columbus to take our engagement photos so we could have photos taken at OSU, our alma matter. He is extremely professional while still having fun with us and our bridal party. He did a wonderful job keeping me relaxed so I was not worried about getting the right photos at all. I had complete confidence he would document the day as we wanted. My husband and I still say the best money we spent for our wedding day was for Maxim Photo Studio to take our wedding and engagement photos!!

Max is the best and was hands down my favorite vendor! Our wedding pictures are unbelievable; everyone keeps commenting that they're the best pictures they have ever seen. Max is creative, artsy and original. He spent the entire day with us; from the early morning bridal party getting ready to the moment the last guest walked out of the reception hall, Max was there. We had a large wedding party and were worried about the attention span of some of them, but Max kept everyone's attention and was efficient with the pictures. We never felt like we were standing around wasting time. Hire Max - you won't regret it!!!

Max was a fantastic photographer! We truly appreciated his professional nature, but also his willingness to get the best shot! Everything was so easy when it came to contracts and payments, as it was all online. My husband and I, along with our bridal party and parents were so impressed with his ability to get all of the photos we hoped to get prior to our ceremony. The day of our wedding was the coldest day in May, completely out of our control, but Max was prepared and pulled blankets out of his car to keep everyone warm as we were visiting our photo spots around Cincinnati. Two of our best friends (who were also in our bridal party) are getting married in July 2017 - they have already booked Max based off our great experience and amazing photos. We've heard nothing but good things when it came to our family and friends seeing our photos for the first time. The title says it all. From our very first meeting with Max at Maxim Photo Studio we were impressed! His laid back, professional nature put our minds and concerns at ease. For those that are planning a wedding you know that it can be stressful. Every photographer has a 'style' but Max and his team made sure that they knew what we envisoned and wanted for our special day. From the engagement, figuring out times/details of the wedding down to the execution on the big day we did not have to worry about a thing. Our family and friends LOVED the slideshow of pictures that circulated around on iPads during our reception. It made them feel as if they were apart of the entire day of events. Max and his team did such an amazing job not just at our wedding but during our entire engagement period. He is quick to respond to questions and was always ready for a challenge. He is quick and we have been married 3 weeks now and have already gotten our pictures back! Max was always on time and professional. He has a true eye for photography and is very creative. Multiple members of our bridal party commented on how great Max was and how he was so much better then other photographers they have seen in the prior weddings they have been in. I knew from the beginning that wedding photography was something that I wanted to make a priority for our wedding. I found Maxim Photo Studio online and was nervous because I didn't have any personal recommendations, but he was awesome and worth every penny!! Max was AMAZING!!! He was so professional and on the day of my wedding I had no doubts that I was getting the best photos ever. The guests at our wedding couldn't stop talking about how great Max was and how he was working hard editing photos so that the guests could see them on an iPad during the reception. We were all blown away at how gorgeous his pictures were! Our wedding was almost 5 months ago and our friends are STILL talking about how great our photos are and how awesome Max was. Max and his team really made me look and feel like the most beautiful bride. I also loved that we got a flash drive with ALL of our pictures on them, although there were so many good ones that it was hard to choose what we actually wanted to print :) Overall, I highly recommend Maxim Photo Studio for your wedding photography!! You will not be disappointed!

Max with Maxim Photo Studio is beyond amazing!! Just thinking about hiring a wedding photography stressed me out for months when we were planning our wedding. Max was the first person I called and I immediately knew that I did not need to look any further. Not only do his photos speak for themselves but he is so professional and he was very accommodating to the fact that we live and were planning our nuptials from out of state. He took a not so minor detour on the way home from his own family vacation to make sure he could photograph my husband and I for engagement photos. I love that he insisted on doing this pre-wedding shoot to get a personal feel for our chemistry and style to ensure the best possible wedding photos. BONUS - Like most weddings, Max's team was with us all day and throughout the evening. His energy never faded, and is tremendously physically fit to do task others simply can not.

I used Maxim Photo Studio for my wedding this summer, and I am so glad that we decided to use Max instead of someone else. He was so accommodating to Jordan and me, travelling to a different city for our engagement pictures than our wedding venue, but knew so much about the areas! His expertise, coupled with the high quality of his photography skills and photographs, set my husband and me at ease for the entire day. Max first photographed our engagement session in September 2014, which is all we had originally booked him for. Through the course of conversation and after seeing his phenomenal work, we decided to also book him for our destination wedding in Lake Tahoe, CA for the following summer.

He shot our Lake Tahoe wedding in August 2015 and did an amazing job! We couldn't be happier with the photos - his passion, energy and creativity shows on the day of and in the final photos. My husband and I would definitely recommend Max to any couple looking for a wedding photographer!

Max and his team were a perfect fit for what we were looking for in a wedding photographer. He serves both the Cincinnati and Dayton areas. Our pictures were fantastic! He quickly made us feel comfortable with the engagement session and the wedding pictures went by really fast, which gave us more time with our guests. He listened to what we wanted and catered his photography to that. His price is fair for what others charge. We received all our wedding photos within two weeks of our big day which everyone thought was so neat. He created a great slideshow with some of the top images. We also were able to see a lot of the pictures he took the day of at our head table. Our parents and bridal party loved that. He was very professional and knew what he was doing. I think picking a photographer is a big part of planning a wedding and Maxim is a great choice. I had no complaints.

Maxim Photos and Max Surikov just finished our wedding and we could not be happier with the results. Max is a true professional and takes great pride in his work. He was willing to meet with us to great depth regarding our engagement pictures and wedding photos. Every moment and every angle of the wedding was captured with taste, character, and true beauty. After the wedding, Max even gave us over 2,000 pictures on a USB drive to look at, print, and publish as we pleased. The photobooth was a huge hit and our guests really enjoyed letting loose with the slow-motion camera. Max and his team went above and beyond on the day of the wedding helping with set-up, capturing each moment in a timely fashion, and even helping the groomsmen tie their bowties! A long time ago, I used to videotape weddings on the side. I, also, have 5 brothers and sisters. So I have many examples to choose from. Max is the best. He cares about what he does and the quality shows.

We just received our photos on a Zip drive very quickly after the wedding. The pics look like they should be in a magazine.

We just had our wedding at the end of July so this review is WAY overdue! (sorry Max...) After searching for and meeting with several photographers, my husband and I chose Maxim Photo Studio based on his personality alone. He was very professional, friendly, & once you got to know him, a very fun & creative photographer! One important thing for us was that whenever we needed to reach him for a question or concern, he was prompt in either answering or getting back to us very quickly. Living in Florida & having our wedding in Indiana, that was crucial for us. We decided to splurge a little with our photographer because once the wedding is over, all that is left are the photos! A lot of other photographers I met were cocky. Max didn't come off that way; he was more confident that his work was great instead. When we had our engagement session, he explained that he likes to get to know what we're comfortable with, & how we interact with each other so he'll have a better understanding come the day of the wedding, which is pretty brilliant. On our wedding day, he already knew how we acted with each other & with him. We didn't have to worry about becoming comfortable with him all over again; instead we focused on taking our pictures! As far as his pictures go, I was specific that I wanted crisp, clean, & bright looks to all of the photographs. He hit the nail on the head with that style! If there was a photograph that we forgot to list & we wanted it, he made it happen! They were great at getting the shots that we wanted, and thinking of some great ideas that we didn't think of! All in all, I as a bride, never had to worry about my photographer messing up or not being organized. He had everything taken care of! He did an amazing job at taking care of us! I would DEFINITELY recommend Max to anyone who doesn't mind slightly splurging for a GREAT PRODUCT & GREAT RELATIONSHIP! Thanks Max & Angela!!!

Max was wonderful. He was very flexible and prompt in responding to texts and emails. I felt that his time with my husband and I was personalized. He is very thorough in making sure he gets the shots you want. His professionalism is excellent as his assistant photographer Angela's. The turn around on photos is like none other I've heard of. He puts up sneak peeks of your event within 24 hours and has a USB drive with all of your photos ready within a couple of weeks after the wedding.

We had Maxim photo studios shoot both our engagement and wedding day pictures. Our engagement session was in Ault Park during the cherry blossoms which were absolutely gorgeous. At the time we both we horrible at posing for pictures and super awkward in front of the camera. Max and Angela made it really easy for us. They told us what to do to make us look good and all we had to do was kiss, smile and listen! The engagement session really helped us feel more confident and comfortable for our wedding day pictures. I'd highly recommend doing engagement photos for that reason. It also helps you know what you want. Then, on our wedding day we had such a great time during our photos. We took all of them before the ceremony, which I highly recommend! All of our photos came back perfect! We absolutely loved them and felt like there wasn't a bad photo! The flash photography looks amazing and Angela and Max were so good at directing us and the 15 people in our massive bridal party! Thank you, Max and your team! We are so grateful we have beautiful pictures that captures our perfect day!

When I walked into Max's office, I knew I wanted him to be a part of my special day! His warm welcome and smile made me feel confident that I was at the right place. After showing me his work, I knew I had to have him for my photo booth. But he also showed me his slow motion video! I fell in love with his work and could not wait to see him on my wedding day. Choosing a photographer was one of the hardest decisions for my wedding because there are so many options and I don't know enough about photography to tell a genius from a fraud. Every photographer seemed to show me good pictures when I interviewed them. My final decision came down to the vibe I got from the photographer and mostly these reviews...

I AM SO HAPPY I DECIDED TO GO WITH MAXIM PHOTO! Our wedding pictures turned out way better than I expected and Max and his team were amazing. From the planning to the wedding day, everything went smoothly and Max was very responsive. People are still commenting on how amazing Max and his team were and how they got so many great shots, yet were barely visible during the ceremony and reception. Max and Angela made sure they got every picture we had asked for and also used their creativeness to come up with pictures I would have never thought of. Max did a great job organizing our wedding party of 21+. Everything was orderly, organized and efficient. Max also offers a USB drive with copyright release rights (ready only 2 weeks after your wedding), so I can print anyone of my 1800 pictures anytime I want! Any photographer can made one great album to show people, but Max is a true professional.

We found Maxim Photo studio through a referral after exploring several different recommended options from our venue. Where do I even begin? Max and his team were absolutely phenomenal to work with!! From the minute we walked into his studio for our intial meeting until our most recent final meeting to get all of our wedding and engagement photos, Max has been nothing but professional, friendly, courteous, fun, and accommodating. Not to mention his photography skills are amazing! Him and his team took some incredible shots of our wedding day and it's safe to say that we are having a rough time picking just a few dozen of our favorites because their photographs of our day are ALL stunning, they really have an eye for beautiful shots and are helpful throughout the entire day to make it as seamless and comfotable as possible.

Max and his team worked so hard for our photo booth too, there was a line ALL night for it with all the props they supplied and the fun people had with it is priceless. We also were lucky enough to participate in his newest addition to his portfolio, the slow motion video booth. Talk about hilarious and fun!! It was the hit of the party and Max and his team were flawless in their execution of this!

Overall, bottom line, Max and his team go above and beyond to make your day amazing and special. They really are truly there to help you remember everything about your day and accommodate any requests you might have on special pictures, etc. My husband and I have already recommended Maxim Photo Studio to several of our friends and family who are getting married next year - we are forever grateful for the memories Max has supplied us with.

The most profound advice we received when starting our wedding planning was, "don't skimp on a photographer. Max was fabulous through the entire process. My work schedule was not very flexible but he made time when I was able to meet. He came prepared with prior shoots as well as ideas. He then made us feel very comfortable during our engagement photo shoot. The wedding photos are incredible. The little things that happened through the night he was able to capture. During my father-daughter dance i had a tear stream down and it was captured for me to treasure for a lifetime. Thank you for providing us ever lasting memories of the best night of our lives. During our engagement session, Max quickly put us at ease. Instead of making the day feel awkward, we actually ended up having a lot of fun. On our wedding day, Max was professional, organized, and actually listened to what I wanted. Our quests and family are still raving about him and how amazing his team was at the wedding. Guests cannot stop talking about how awesome Maxim Photo Studio was at the wedding. They are not just any photo "booth". You can get large group pics using lots of props, and they print on the spot. They are professional, nice, and were the hit of the wedding.
Also, we had already contracted with a wedding photographer, but they caught a few shots of our bridesmaids peaking around the corner and the send off in a carriage when the photographer wasn't around. Those few photos are amazing and some of our favorite shots! I will definitely contract with them not only for the photo booth, but for professional photography as well. Friendly with the guests and outstanding work! I am picky and researched a lot of companies in a 90 mile radius of Cincinnati. Save yourself the time and trust me!

Finding Max at a Bridal Show in Ohio was one of the best things to happen for my wedding! I live in Orlando, but my wedding was in Columbus, Ohio. He even did one of our engagement sessions while he was down in Orlando one Vacation with his family. You will not find many people who are will to take time off of their vacation to make your engagement session more convenient for you! Plus we have these amazing pictures from the place we met and our relationship started. He also was kind enough to travel to Columbus on one of our many visits to do a second engagement shoot at the Park of Roses! He was so patient and flexible which was a saving grace for us, since our visits home were also short and jam packed with appointments.
On the day of the wedding he captured every moment I could have hoped for. He captured everything from me getting ready to the dancing at the reception. I did not have to worry that anything was being missed. Max and his crew were amazing and I would recommend them to everyone!!

Max did such an amazing job on my engagement pictures!! We shot in downtown Lebanon and Max took control from the moment we got there, he had just endless ideas and they were all different and better than I could have come up with. We got the pictures back in record time and they were stunning...just completely captured us. A lot of the pictures brought me to tears because it was the little moments that he captured that so made the pictures just at that next level.

It was a pleasure to have Max as our photographer for our wedding in Cincinnati, OH.

He was very professional, punctual and flexible with his time in coordinating with our busy schedule. He was a tremendous help in positioning us and our guest for the perfect shot. Max, did a great job at responding to our needs and preferences and getting the pictures back to us in a reasonable time. We even got to see some of our photos in display during the wedding reception!!! and just a few days later we got a sneak peak of our wedding pictures, posted directly to our Facebook page.

We loved the work he did for us in our wedding (custom) album, he did a good job editing the photos. Max also worked with us to make additional changes to a few photos for the album. We were thankful for his willingness to put in additional work to alter the photos per our preferences.

Words cannot express how happy I was with Max and his photo studio. Max was willing to come to our home to do our engagement session which turned out perfect! And looking at our wedding pictures is like reliving every moment!! Max was super quick to get our photos to us after both the engagement session and the wedding.. the albums he offered (engagement/guestbook and photobooth) are so wonderfully made I have them both showcased in my home. Max and his assistants were so professional and wonderful throughout our entire wedding and were able to get some shots prior to the wedding without my husband and I having to see each other (which is exactly what we wanted). I would 100% most definitely recommend Max to everyone wanting FABULOUS wedding photos at a great price!

Maxim and his team are just awesome. We are very very very happy with our wedding pictures. And we have tons of them! Working with Maxim is great - he always has plenty of suggestions and a vision for each image. So no worries at all - just trust him because he knows what he is doing. Maxim is very attentive to what's going on around and catches just the right moments. Again, it was easy to work with the whole team. They are all really positive people and are there to help with anything. So glad we randomly stopped by a wedding show and met Maxim. He also speaks Russian, which was quite helpful in our Russian wedding.

Max and his team were absolutely amazing from the beginning! They constantly responded back to my emails and phone calls and were happy to do so. On the day of the wedding angi(one of the crew) came to the salon and took pictures and not only took photos she helped clean up! It was a small gesture but on the biggest day of your life it meant te world to both my mom and I. Angie made me feel comfortable when shooting the bridal pictures and I loved every minute of it. The wedding photos were stunning and max was the reason. I wish I could relive this moment everyday of my life and now I can do so by looking at my gorgeous photos! I would not of picked a better photographer or better group of people! Thanks again!

Max and Angela are the best! I had my engagement and wedding photos done by Maxim Photo studios. The quality of the photos are outstanding. Max is willing to go where you want and listens to the kind of photos you want. Angela had the same kind personality as me and I loved the shots she took of the girls getting ready, paying attention to every little detail that I worked so hard planning. The shots Max took at the wedding are gorgeous and there are so many favorites to chose from. Before the wedding, we had a planning meeting so Max knew which shots I really wanted and ones I did not want. He was able to get almost every shot I had listed and I am so happy with the way they turned out. The photo booth was a hit at the wedding and we still enjoy looking through the custom book made with all photo booth photos. We pick up our album next week and we can't wait!

Where do I start! Max and his team were AMAZING! He was extremely patient with me and my fiancé’s crazy schedule and really walked us through the whole process. Max from Maxim Photo Studio photographed our wedding in October 2011 and I could not have asked for anything more. After the first time we met, I was completely comfortable talking to him and letting him know exactly what we wanted and expected of a photographer. He went above and beyond! He did me a huge favor of fitting in our engagement shoot and getting me the pictures before our engagement party, which was such short notice for him. They turned out absolutely beautiful... The wedding day was even better! Every shot was more beautiful than the last, very artistic and in the moment; he captured a perfect timeline of the day. I cried when we got the bridal album because it was everything I could have asked for (and we got it so fast!!) I still look at the album every week because it is on our coffee table. Any guests that we have over look through it also and are so impressed with it... I don't think I could recommend him enough!!

I highly recommend Max Surikov and his team at Maxim Photo Studio. He was professional, kind, organized and efficient. His artistic eye is unparalleled in the Cincinnati/Dayton area, in both the pictures he chose to take, and the layout in which he formatted our final photographs. Out of a dozen photographers at a Cincinnati Bridal Show, I was immediately drawn to Maxim Photo Studio’s unique and artistic display. The team did not disappoint from that initial attraction to their work. Maxim photography made both our wedding party and families at ease. They captured candid moments that defined our character and the personalities of everyone we love. We were able to view our pictures within two weeks of the wedding date, and received our final product within 6 weeks. Maxim Photo Studio also went above and beyond and prepared a beautiful montage of pictures set to music that we were able to share with everyone on a public website. My new husband and I could not have chosen a better photographer to capture our wedding day, and we are both incredibly pleased and thankful that Max Surikov and his team shared their talent with us.

My husband and I live in the NYC area which made planning an Ohio wedding a bit difficult; however, thanks to Max and his flexibility, our photography went off without a hitch. In fact, Max drove all the way to NYC to do our engagement photo session. He worked extremely hard to get all of the best shots of the NYC skylines and iconic landmarks while using his creativity to make every single photo perfect. He gave us tips when needed, but always let us be "us" so that every shot was authentic. All of our friends and family members were in awe of our photos and say how they look like they're from a magazine. We wondered how he could top the engagment photos, but somehow he did! Our wedding photos were even more amazing! I have worked in advertising with some of the best photographers in the country and in my opinion, Max is one of them. From one bride to another, you will not be let down by hiring Max to do your photos. I am very picky when it comes to photography and he blew my expecations away!

Working with Max from March until our wedding in June was a fabulous experience. From the moment we met him, he was extremely professional and easy to work with! By reading previous reviews and seeing his work from other weddings, we felt very confident in choosing him to be our photographer. He did an engagement photo shoot with us and would always email me back within a few hours every time I emailed him with questions about the big day! When the day arrived, he showed up 30 minutes earlier than he was contracted to, which always makes things less stressful. Not only was he so organized, but he acted as our wedding planner for the day. He had on a headset where he communicated with Joe, our second photographer (who was also awesome!). From the wedding, to the formal shots, to the reception photos, Max kept the day rolling and got some awesome shots. We couldnt be happier with our wedding photos! As a plud, with his wedding packages, he not only included a CD with all of our images and a photo montage, but we were given photo credit to use towards other images, a canvas print, and he had a slideshow playing at the reception of photos taken the day of the wedding. If you choose Max, you are choosing 100% professional and quality.

We had Max for our photographer at our wedding. He did THE MOST amazing job capturing our wedding. We wanted to be able to look back in a book and remember exactly what happened and the feelings that were involved and thanks to Max we will now be able to do that. He called us weeks before the wedding, showed up before we even got to the venue, captured us, our friends, and our family, and a few days after the wedding we were able to view some of our pictures! He truly was a great photographer and I would recommend him to anyone.

Our wedding took place on February 26, 2011 at the Dayton Art Institute. The venue was so insanely beautiful that we were quite sure we would look back on our wedding and think "you just had to be there"- We were wrong. Maxim Photo Studio captured the night in absolutely incredible artistic form. I may be bragging but I have never seen a more stunning set of wedding photos than what Maxim presented us with. The reason that you have a photographer is so that you can relive the most special day of your life every time you open your album. Max gave us the best wedding present we could get and five stars just doesn't do him justice.

Maxim Photo Studio is everything that you could dream of from a photography company and more. The owner, Max Surikov himself is the most professional, creative, flexible and committed photographer that there is out there. It was also evident that each of his photographers that we came into contact with are also held to these high standards. Max was our lead photographer, and the images were simply elegant and astonishing. He made my husband and I feel incredible, both beautiful and intimate, on our wedding day. We also used the Photo booth which was a huge hit! Max completed our engagement photos & our American wedding ceremony, and a different photographer for our Korean Wedding Ceremony. Each of the events’ photos turned out phenomenal, we had access very quick to them and with all of the pictures we were very pleased. Maxim Photo Studio is not only the photographers that we used for our wedding events, but now is who we consider to be the only photographer that we will trust for all of our family photos and events in the future.

Max is an incredibly professional photographer. He took the time to meet with us months before the wedding took place in order to get to know my wife and I. He asked tons of questions to make certain he captured moments that would reflect not our preferences and desires.

Max will do anything to get the shot. Not only does he have a great support staff that is constantly capturing photos from all angles, but Max himself was lying in streets, hanging off of lamp posts and climbing tall buildings to find the perfect picture.

I really cannot say enough about Max. He was courteous to all the amateur photographers snapping shots around him at the wedding. He made certain my wife and I were seen with all the important people in our lives. Max helped make out wedding a success and made certain we will relive it forever.

Thank you Max for being a part of our Indian Wedding. It was a crazy experience. Planning was stressful as all hell, but I never worried about the photographer.

Max was our photographer for our May wedding, and he was absolutely amazing! Max was very flexible and remained professional throughout our wedding day. Pictures were quickly posted on facebook (which I LOVED) and the quality was better than I had ever expected. I have received so many rave reviews about our wedding photos from family and friends. The album he put together blew me away, and my mom could not wait to show hers off to all of her friends. I couldn't have asked for a better keepsake from my wedding day! Max is AWESOME and I would recommend him to anyone who truly wants quality photos taken and a photographer who takes the time to capture all of the details! I am forever grateful for the memories he captured.

Ironically, my first choice for photographer was snatched our from under us (the day we called to book after our meeting, someone else had just booked our date without having a meeting...), and I was very disappointed. My now-husband was particularly picky when I showed him examples of photographers I found. He didn't like ANY of them! One he did like from Cincinnati refused to meet us half-way between Cinci and Dayton. My husband and I felt that if someone couldn't bother to meet us 30 minutes away to try to earn our business, what kind of service would he give us on our wedding day? If we are willing to pay thousands of dollars for one day, we felt like going a little bit out of his way wasn't much to ask.
So.....we came across Max!
My mom always said that thing happen for a reason...well, I'm so happy to say that I am glad my first photographer was unavailable!

Max met us at our convenience and even offered to meet us near our home (even though we weren't too far from him). He emailed almost immediately in response to my initial inquiry. He was very timely, great at following up/through, did what he said he would do and when he said he would do it, and was extremely professional and straightforward with us, which was very refreshing. Our big thing was that we wanted our image files. He gives them to clients in their package, and they are in a larger format than most photographers.
Max has many packages set up and was able to explain the advantages of each. For our package an engagement session was included, as well as a reception slide show and live photo booth. Both were HUGE hits at our reception!
We also wanted to have our pictures taken at a different location before the ceremony, and he was totally fine with that. Very flexible and got many pictures in a rather different setting.

We also had him video our wedding...I had 2 friends tell me that they regretted not videoing their wedding. I didn't think one way or another about it....until after I saw our video!!! OMG! I cried when I watched it, it was soooo incredible!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The images were uploaded to our secure site within a few days of our wedding and looked great! Within a couple of weeks of our wedding Max dropped off our image and video DVDs. We haven't ordered prints/albums yet, but we are sure they will be superb like everything else.

Max was refreshing to work with and has a good sense of humor and offers excellent service and value. Some photographers seemed full of themselves and do the same things everyone else does, including charging outrageous fees for each portion of their services. Max is a breath of fresh air--he does a super job and delivers super quality and goes all out--we could tell he was there to make sure we had great images to remember our day. (Also, we could hardly tell they were around during the ceremony and reception--but they got pictures of almost everything!)

As a photographer myself, when my wife and I were looking for a photographer for our wedding, I knew exactly what we were looking for. Max performed flawlessly on our special day. His unobtrusive style and creativity really sets him apart from the rest. His technical knowledge of photography and his equipment really blew me away and how he was able to adjust to various lighting conditions to get the perfect shot every time is a testament to his professionalism. Max was very professional and really easy to work with, especially on the wedding day. He met with us a few months before the wedding to get to know us as a couple and get an idea about the "style" we wanted as well as to go over the package options. Before the wedding he gave me a checklist form to fill out about the pictures we definitely wanted, and on the day of the wedding he got all of them and more. Of course the timing of the day was off, but he was very flexible and we got everything taken care of. Also, within a month we were given a DVD will ALL of the pictures taken that was ours to keep. Currently, we have not yet chosen the images we want printed that will complete our package, but I am excited to work with him to finish the pics. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone.

Max was the photographer at my daughter's September wedding at Miami University in Oxford Ohio. I can't thank him enough for the stunning memories he captured of that beautiful day. He sent us a sample of some of the photos within days of the wedding, and everyone who viewed them were blown away by the professional, artistic and creative quality shown in every one of them. His photography is truely artistic and exceeded our expectations in everyway. He was so patient and easy to work with which just made our satisfaction all the greater. We had some tremendous vendors for this wedding, but none better than Max.

Maxim Photo Studio did an absolutely wonderful job durint our Wedding Day! We met with Max to plan the event, and he worked with us calmly and efficiently to make sure we would get exactly what we planned for during our day. Max was our photographer for our August wedding and we couldn't have been happier. He was extremely responsive; he always answered emails and phone calls immediately. He was very flexible and provided us exactly what we wanted on our wedding day and with our package. Max and his assistant, Nikki, were very professional and captured amazing photos. We received numerous compliments about the photos at the reception (they were able to set up a slideshow!). Our neighbors were married at the same venue and commented on how great the pictures turned out and wished they had used Max! Pictures were on Facebook immediately and Max sent a link to all of our photos very quickly, we were able to look at wedding photos at the airport on our way home from our honeymoon. Once we received our proofs (so quickly) after the wedding, we could not believe how many special moments you had captured. Max was wonderful to deal with! He is very personable, friendly, and really knows what he is doing! He did a wonderful job with our engagement pics, some of the best pictures I have seen. He was always very efficient with responding to questions and concerns. During and before the wedding he did such a wonderful job of getting both staged and candid shots. We had two photographers and an assistant who were contantly making sure that we were taken care of. The pictures and album turned out better than I could imagine! Not to mention that we had pics posted of the wedding in less than 2 days as well as a slideshow playing at the wedding of pics he had just taken! No complaints here! satisfied customers!

Maxim photo studios was amazing. The owner, Max, came just because I felt I needed him to. So, he came for the first hour, and did wonderful shots. Along with Max, were my two photographers. They were personal, helpful and made everything exactly to my liking. If there was anything we wanted, the did. It was all about US! That was wonderful. And, my album, IT'S BEAUTIFUL. I love it! People around here in Southern Ohio have never seen anything like it. I've seen albums like this all over San Francisco and LA, so it was perfect for me. Also, have all the rights to my photos is very convenient. If I could refer Maxim photo studios, I would suggest his work to anyone who wants to be catered to and cared for like family.

Our pictures and personal experience with Maxim Photography was perfect! We had a storybook wedding, and now have a goregous one-of-a-kind wedding album and framed photos to help us relive our incredible day! Max and his photographers were personable, professional and creative! We couldn't have asked for more!

Max did a wonderful job of capturing our wedding. He was prompt, professional, and always ready to get the shots we needed. He even helped my husband with his cuff links!

Most of the wedding pictures were posted online the day after the wedding, so we spent the day refreshing the page, constantly amazed at the quality of his pictures.

We would highly recommend Max to anyone looking for a photographer in the area. You won't regret it.

Max was an awesome wedding day photographer!! I loved all my pictures!! He was very good at taking charge which was something i needed due to the time restraints that my church had and he got me to my reception with plenty of time to dance the night away!! He made sure i got all the pictures i wanted!! Sometimes i couldn't even tell he was there which made looking all the pictures so much fun to see the surprises!! He was very fun while being proffessional!! Which is good cause you do spend all day with him!! I would reccommend him any day of the week and for the price he is amazing!! I got so many complements on my pictures and he made my wedding day that som much more fun!!
