AMAZING experience with MAXE Designs!!

We absolutely LOVED working with Molly for our invites!! Throughout the entire process, we were met with options, Molly's expert opinion, excellent communication and kindness. We went in to the process not knowing exactly what we were looking for, but with a few wedding details and reference photos, Molly was able to provide us about 15 different base-options, which were all customizable throughout the process. We were thrilled with the final product, and received so many compliments on the invitation suite. We opted for Molly's service of addressing, and even mailing all of our invites which was an absolute game-changer.

I couldn't recommend Molly enough. She is an absolute gem and class act. You will not be disappointed!

We were pleasantly surprised from the very first meeting. Molly was extremely interested my daughter's (and mine!) vision for the invitation suite and other printed materials. This meant a lot. We didn't exactly give her a clear picture the first time, which resulted in her having to do some extra work. Not only did she completely change the artwork after working on our initial vision, she did with a smile ... and quickly.

Maxe gave us exactly what we wanted, it was one of a kind, she even addressed AND mailed the invites. And unbelievably, they were a terrific price (less expensive than a stationer and online invitation creation sites. We have received lots of compliments already. Maxe Designs delivered value for our money!

Working with Molly was one of my husband and I's best wedding planning experiences! We met with Molly at her studio and we were immediately impressed with her positive energy, professionalism, and creativity. Molly's designs are truly one-of-a-kind, as she included my husband and I in the original brainstorm ideas, the design process, and the final product of our invitation. Molly was very responsive, and always a pleasure to talk to and work with. My husband and I ended up with an invitation that is not only beautiful, but special and unique to us. I STRONGLY recommend Molly to any and all brides!! If you are looking for a unique invitation that is beautifully designed by a true artist- then Molly is who you must hire!! She draws all of her artwork by hand. If there is a design you know you want to incorporate into your invitations- look no further than Molly! If you want a basic run of the mill invitation- this is not it! Her designs are unique and so beautiful. Aside from her designs, she is one the kindest people I’ve ever met. She is AMAZING at communication and responds to your emails or texts or calls immediately. She also sticks to your timelines very closely which is so important! The bottom line is this: if you want a talented artist who will draw, design, put together, and even mail your invitations for you- and want someone who is an excellent value- then hire Molly RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!

My Fiance Cesar and I are soo lucky to have found Molly to design our custom invitations, programs and place cards. Molly walked us thru every detail that is in part of our invitation and made each step such a fun process. Molly has been such a pleasure to work with throughout the process! Molly is extremely personable and professional, and she is also very responsive and a great listener. From the start, Molly really took the time to get to know us and understand our styles and preferences. With her own design experience, Molly was very helpful in presenting us with a variety of great ideas in the beginning that helped inspire us to eventually find our own. It's not an easy task, but she was able to merge my finance's more traditional style and my preference for the modern into a contemporary, clean, and crisp design that we both LOVE! In fact, we are so inspired by the design that we are using the invitation color scheme as design elements for our wedding day! Where do I begin…Molly is wonderful! Not only is she fantastic to work with, her artwork is so authentic, beautiful and personalized to each customer. I am an extremely particular person when it comes down to details and she brought all my ideas to life, if not better than I imagined! She took the time to supply me with multiple options to choose from between formatting, colors, paper, you name it! She is extremely flexible and so responsive. Molly really gets to know you as a couple and what your ultimate vision/design is for your entire wedding in order to create stationary that will initially introduce all your guests to the overall feel of your day! Our guests cannot stop raving about our invitations. We loved everything so much we are continuing the design process with her for programs, place cards and menus. I cannot recommend her enough. Why have conventional stationary when you can have something so personal and customized – choose Maxe Designs, you won’t regret it!

Molly was our absolute favorite vendor to work with! She had this enthusiasm that you can hear from the beginning of the phone consultation, and carried it throughout the entire process! You can tell she loves what she does. Everything is made just for you, based on your specifications, and will never be used again for another couple. When we first met with her to come up with designs, she showed us her previous work. She had a story to tell about every single one, which was amazing to see!

I would highly recommend Molly! At first, we had no idea what kind of invitations or save the dates we wanted. Molly had books of designs and a lot of ideas. She helped us create the perfect invitations for us. Since she creates her own designs, we were really able to personalize our invitations. She made the design process fun and easy! I truly cannot recommend Molly and Maxe Designs LLC enough. Molly is an absolute joy to work with, from the start of the design process to the end - she was SO responsive (like, 24 hour response time to my millions of emails), she is SO kind and SO thoughtful, she is very detailed in making sure everything was EXACTLY what we wanted. I had a dream of exactly how I wanted our designs to look - I wanted them to be Chicago themed, with burgundy and silver touches and blush pink, and OH MY did she make my dreams come true!!!! Molly went above and beyond and even sketched the skyline for our invites and other stationary. We wanted to add some cocktail signs last minute because we forgot about them and she was able to produce them in 48 hours and they were AMAZING!!! Not only were the designs better than I could have ever dreamed of - she brought ALL OF THE STATIONARY TO MY WORK!!!! She knew I was busy with the planning and she actually hand delivered the items to me. She was so helpful, she even mailed the invitations for us. Molly is truly amazing at what she does, and a true gem in this world, and we feel beyond fortunate to have had her as one of our vendors. CHOOSE MOLLY AS YOUR STATIONARY DESIGNER!!!! Molly was an absolute pleasure to work with! She is incredibly creative and a true artist! Molly from Max Designs was wonderful to work with during preparation for my wedding. She did the art work for my guestbook, cake signs, table numbers, table seating chart, and ceremony programs. When I had several guests RSVP the day before the wedding, she overnighted me a seating arrangement change for my seating chart. I am so impressed by her professionalism and positive attitude, especially during such a stressful time approaching the wedding. I will recommend her to all of my friends and family who get married. I will even use her for other events in the future (ex: baby shower invitations). In addition, Molly is a great artist. My theme for the wedding was cranes and my two dogs, she hand drew pictures and painted them. The artwork looked outstanding and made my wedding very personal that resembled me and my husband. Molly is absolutely PHENOMENAL!!! I came to her with an idea for wedding programs that were styled to look like a concert program. From the moment I met her, she was so incredibly helpful, she talked through all of the ideas I had, and gave input on what would look good, as well as the types of paper I could use that would tie in to my wedding colors. Molly was always so quick to respond, and if I wanted a change made, it was done so quickly, and she had to proofs right back over for me to look at. I could not have asked for someone better to help me with the process of creating our invitations! I did not have much of a direction I wanted to go as far as our invitations went, Molly went above and beyond to help us create something that was perfect us. She was working on other projects and never did she give us less then 110% of her time to make sure everything was done perfectly and on time. We just recently sent out our invitations and we have gotten multiple compliments on them! I did not realize how much goes in to creating invitations but if you are looking for someone to make the process stress free, fun and most of all give you amazing results Molly will do it all for you and then some! I initially wanted to make my own invitation through minted but quickly realize there's more to it than just picking a design and entering our wedding information. I tried calling and chatting online with a customer service but didn't get confident of what I was doing. I started looking for another option. I emailed Molly early in the morning and before noon, I was already talking to her about my visions, ideas, options, you name it! By the end of the call I was confident I came to right place and I am in good hands. The exceptional services continued on throughout the process. . When you start the search of wedding invitations, you have two options - to do something generic from a stationary store or online, or to hire a designer and spend more on your invitations than on your entire wedding. Molly is neither of those things - she is an artist! After reading Molly's reviews, I had to contact her, and when I did I got the sweetest, friendliest email back. We met with her in person to start going over some ideas, I did not know what I wanted but I knew what I didn't want and she was very receptive to that. She showed us a book of past invitations and it really seemed like her talent was endless! The best thing about Molly is she will work with you until it's exactly what you want, she doesn't put any restrictions on things, or tell you something can't be done. She will send you mock-ups and examples until it's perfect. We ended up with a 100% unique invitation that no one will ever have, and we feel that what we paid was incredibly reasonable. You can tells he does this because she loves it, in her office there is a chalk board of all the names of her current couples. Molly also understands that weddings are a living thing, and sometimes you have months or sometimes you have weeks to get these out the door and she is very easy to work with in terms of when your invites go to print or when you will receive them. Most of her services are a la carte, and she gives you many options so you never feel like you are choosing a package that may not fit your needs. She is a wonderful person, very easy to talk to, to be around and was simply a joy to work with! My only regret is that my wedding is over and I don't get to continue designing with Molly!

Molly deserves every single positive review she has gotten here. From our invitations to our beautiful table number cards, she created the perfect designs for our wedding! We wanted a whimsical forest theme with a touch of Disney magic and Molly made it happen. She was excellent with communicating everything with us and addressing any concern I had. We didn't have to travel anywhere to work with her which was amazingly convenient. I didn't know what I was looking for when I explained my visions for everything and then Molly showed me what I couldn't explain. I am in love with everything she did and she is not pricey at all. I would highly recommend this vendor if you're looking for a one-of-a-kind invitation! Molly will work tirelessly with you to see your vision. Our guests all remarked that they had never gotten a more beautiful invitation, ever! We did a Save-The-Date card, our beautiful invitation, a bookmark of a poem I had written, Thank You cards, and I asked her to design a beautiful marriage Certificate I could frame and display. We were married on a rustic bridge and Molly drew the bridge beautifully. We even used her drawing in the top of our reception cake. I would tell you that if you choose a different vendor, it would be a mistake! Molly was not only my Wedding Invitation designer, she became my friend.

I remember a couple months ago I was looking for beautiful invitations and reading reviews as well & was impressed with the artwork she does. I met personally with Molly at her studio and she is such an inviting and full of energy individual - never a dull moment! First meeting included just getting to know the client/couple and what we would love to incorporate into the wedding invitations, the style, the artwork etc. Molly is one of a kind and she paints/draws an artwork that will be incorporated so nothing is ever the same. Its definitely YOUR OWN design which I loved. Soon after the first meeting she started working on designs, wordings, formats where you can choose from and if you were stuck on 2 or 3 designs - she will play with those designs until they are to your liking :) The next meeting with her she had printed out the designs on different papers and had everything ready for me to choose from where I was able to feel and see how everything will come together once it is mailed out. Once that was done Molly was so nice to address everything with stamps and was ready to mail. The final product was beautiful! I would definitely go to Molly again if I needed any invitations or even artwork done :) Thank You Molly SOOO Much! <3

A long, long time ago (almost 15 years), my husband Fred and I decided to get married. Rather quickly. You see, my father was terminally ill, and didn’t have much time left, so we made the decision to get married quickly, so that he could still be a part of the celebration. I was trying to figure out how I could put a wedding together within 7 weeks, going into the winter holidays, and actually be able to make it happen. Enter Molly. Molly not only helped me plan the wedding, she designed my invitations and thank-you cards, crafted my bridal bouquet (along with all the other flowers), and made all the decorations for the church (which I still have and use at Christmas). I had wanted to use some type of a rose on my invitations, and couldn’t find anything I liked. Molly painted a beautiful rose, and used it as the background for my invitations. As a wedding gift, Molly gave me the framed painting, which I have hanging on my wall, and underneath it sits my bridal bouquet in a vase. Zoom to today. My son is getting married in a couple of months. He is from Ohio, his fiancé is from Texas. We were trying to find a way to carry on the theme of “Ohio meets Texas”, but again, couldn’t find anything we liked. I finally had a “moment” and realized I needed to call Molly! I explained our vision, and she came through for us as I knew she would! She painted my future daughter-in-law’s bouquet and incorporated the bouquet along with the states into beautiful invitations and thank-you cards. We are currently working on itineraries and programs, and I can’t wait to see what is coming!
I love that Molly was a huge part of my wedding so, so many years ago, and now she is once again playing a part in my son’s upcoming wedding. I love that Molly can take what we “imagine”, and creatively turn it into something stunning!

Molly is THE BEST and I can't say enough good things about her! We met with her and two other designers for wedding invitations, but really, we were sold the minute we met her in her studio. Molly is such a great artist and she truly cares about making a design that is representative of the couple, and also working with demands of parents while maintaining the couple's identity through the invitations. We were especially appreciative of her artistry because we had no idea what we wanted for invitations, but the final product could not be more perfect! She was so easy to work with and very responsive. Pretty much everything is done over email, which is great because we live in Maryland but the wedding is in Chicago. She makes sure to send final proofs before printing, and is so attentive to every detail. Also, these invitations are so unique and personalized, yet the cost is the same as other invitations that are definitely more generic. Our wedding has not yet happened, but we just sent out invitations out and I have gotten so many compliments from friends and family about how beautiful the invitations are - and they are! We absolutely adore them. We are also working with Molly to make table numbers, the program, and escort cards - so we are really looking forward to getting those done too! We are relatively close to the wedding, and through all the planning and other vendors, Molly has been by far our favorite vendor and the invitations are definitely one of our favorite parts of the wedding. There's no reason to go with anyone else!

When it comes to wedding stationary and creative art there is no choice but to choose Molly Axe (MAXE Designs)! Not only is she creative, easy to work with, and passionate about her work, but also has a wonderful personality that makes the process of picking and customizing stationary fun! We looked at over 4 different stationers before finding Molly. Once we met her we knew immediately that she was perfect based on her sample work and bubbly personality.

Molly worked patiently with us from day 1 in creating a one of a kind wedding stationary experience from our invitations, mass programs, and place cards to our thank you cards. She is truly an exceptional artist with creativity and a knack for getting to know the client where she is able to pull things out of you that you sometimes didn't know you wanted yourself. Molly's energy level and positive attitude is absolutely infectious and makes you excited to interact with her every chance you get.

When we say easy to work classic examples of Molly going beyond our expectations was meeting us close to our home to drop off final prints, turning around corrections from mistakes we made on our guest list in less than 24hrs (fedex things overnight), and even laying out our mass programs with close attention to detail.

I can't say or rave enough about Molly. Molly was excellent!!!!!! I would highly recommend her. She was great to work with. She was hands down our favorite wedding vendor. We knew nothing else about our wedding but as soon as we met Molly about 1 year and 9 months before our actual wedding, we knew we wanted her to do our invitations. She goes above and beyond what you would expect. She came to our apartment on a couple of different occasions to work with us. I can't say that about any of our other wedding vendors. Her designs and creativity were exactly what we were looking for. All of her things are one of a kind designs that she creates. Her designs are personalized to what you want and see for your wedding, they are not just a cookie cutter design. She is there every step of the way making sure you like what you see and makes things go very smoothly. She is prompt, courteous, and professional in every step along the way. She runs things like a well oiled machine. You never have to worry about a thing. Once you give her your deadline she makes sure everything is done well in advance. We had invitations, place cards, menus, and fan programs all done by Molly. We had a compliment from a family member that our wedding invitations was one of the nicest invitations they had ever received. Score!!!

If you ever want to get your invites done, I recommended Maxe Designs! She did a FANTASTIC job on our invitations. She designs what my fiancé & I both wanted, including giving us a lot of samples and we choose which one we like. If we wanted to change it, she is flexible with our requests. I like it that we could even contact her through her cell phone and emails. Also, she is quick on responses both in emails and phone. 10 thousand thumbs up and I'm glad we went to Maxe Designs. =]

It's hard to put into words how amazing Molly is and how wonderful she was to work with!!!! I met Molly at a bridal expo in January (2 weeks after my engagement and 6 months before the wedding). She was SO friendly and took the time to answer my questions. When I walked away from her booth, I told my sister that I would have to find a way to work with Molly, even if it meant rearranging my wedding budget a bit. The designs Molly created for me are breathtaking!!!! Could I have printed basic invitations myself and saved a bit of money? Sure, but I NEVER would have had the peace of mind that I had working with Molly. I have no artistic bones in my body but I would tell Molly what I liked and didn't like about something, she'd tweak it, and send a new design to me either later that night or the following evening. She even hand-painted me a keepsake box that matched my wedding invitations exactly! Work with Molly, there's no way you could be disappointed!!!!

We found Molly and MAXE Designs at the Grand Rapids Bridal Show about 9 months before our event. I was living long-distance in Minnesota, but my mom and my bridesmaids who attended the event immediately felt like she would be able to portray our personalities as a couple accurately.

At first we started with just invitations and thank-you notes but it quickly turned into programs, reception menus, welcome signs, table numbers & titles, wine bottle keepsakes and our very own personalized artwork that is now hanging on our living room wall. Molly was able to take our initial designs and carry them through all of our paper products to create a very cohesive, elegant look through the entire wedding and reception. Granted, the expense of the invitations and paper products did increase a bit, but the quality of the product is well worth the money.

Molly was very easy to work with online and would often respond within 24-36 hours of my emails with new options and edits. She was always very friendly and calm when we talked on the phone and was available via calls, texts and emails. We have become very good friends over the course of the 9 months planning the wedding and I look forward to using her in the future for other events. “Molly of Maxe Designs may be located a thousand or more miles from my location, but she always made me feel I was close enough to share a cup of coffee with her while designing the items I needed for my client's wedding! Molly has such creative ideas and did not hesitate to share them with me.

The process of designing with Molly was professional yet warm and personal. Communication was constant and I never was left hanging as to where we were in the planning and completion of our project. Molly designed wedding programs (and even helped me with hard to think of language for "sticky situations."), Table Numbers that had background photos of the bride and groom (each one with an overlay of vellum that contained the table number that could be removed later to reveal the photo only), and escort cards. Each of these items contained original, designed artwork of each flower used in the reception table centerpieces. What amazed me is that Molly never had a piece of fabric with the exact color but managed to match it perfectly with no problem.

I received the package in adequate time for the wedding and everything arrived in perfect condition. All I had to do was remove the wrapping, place the photos in the frames, set the escort cards on the table, and lay the programs in a tray.

I would recommend Molly of Maxe Designs to anyone who is planning a wedding, and wants to feel like a guest at their own wedding or event without experiencing the stress that comes along with planning a wedding or event. Or maybe you would like an original drawing done of a favorite photograph. Molly can do it all! I can't wait to begin designing with her again and again!”

I first met Molly at a wedding event and not only did her work blow me away but so did you kindness and is the sweetest person to work with and very easy to work with. I told her that I wanted boxed invitations, something that you really don't see anymore these days, and she became just as excited as me!!! Boy did we have so much fun designing!!! I told her what my now husband and I were thinking and she sketched everything we said out and made tons of notes! :) She even came up with two canvases (that she hand painted herself), one for the menu/table seating and one for the guests to sign. It was beautiful, different and the perfect idea to go with my black tie theme.The invitations are still something my friends and family talk about. She also hand painted the boxed invitations too! Molly is just amazing and very talented! If you work with her you will NOT be disappointed! She is patient and works with your schedule. Not only does she design but she makes the planning a lot easier on you! :) She checked a lot of "to do's" off my wedding check list, she's so helpful!

Molly was fantastic to work with. She listened and really got to know who we were as individuals and a couple. This allowed her to create designs that were reflections of my husband and I. She even found a way to incorporate one of my husband's photos in our invitations. Molly truly help make our wedding wonderful and unique. Love her!

Molly created all the papers for my son's wedding in May 2014, working closely with the bride, bride's mom, and me. We were so very pleased with the customized invitation 'packet' that Molly designed, that we then asked her to make the wedding programs, rehearsal dinner invitations, place/escort cards for the reception, and 'thank you' cards for guests. The beautiful, personalized artwork done by Molly was a motif used in all these pieces, creating continuity in all the papers. Molly's prices are very reasonable and most of all, she is an absolute pleasure to work with. Molly's unending creative ideas, ability to convey the bride's vision into customized art, and patience through the process of designing and writing materials with a constant smile and positive, up-beat attitude made working with her a fun but calming process, instead of a stressful process. We designed with Molly for our daughter's wedding in May. She designed our invitations, ceremony programs, our favor, and our table numbers and name cards. In addition to being fun, Molly was great to work with. We started with a very rough idea of what we wanted. Molly took those ideas, developed them into a design that truly represented my daughter's passions. Usually via email we worked together to redesign based on preferences and conversations. After input from many fronts, Molly was professional in offering her expertise and opinions. She was patient with us, as we really chewed on every decision. Molly exceeded our expectations with quality AND service, and the feedback we received from our guests was also positive. Many said the invitations were the most elaborate they had EVER seen! That made planning our special occasion so much fun!

We found Maxe Designs at a Bridal Show earlier this year. We wanted to find just a few things and invitations was one of them. Knowing what our wedding was going to be like, we wanted something unique, upscale and designed for us. I had no idea what I was getting myself into when it came to finding invitations. We came across Molly's booth and after going to booths beyond hers we knew there was no way anyone could compare to what Molly had to offer.

I scheduled a meeting with her the next day.

After working with Molly that day, we decided on all the things we wanted to have her do. She just doesn't do invitations, she did so much more. She made our Thank You cards, our table numbers, our menu cards, our programs, our place cards, our wall art guest book for people to sign, signs for candy bars; advice box, not to mention the beautiful hand painted aisle runner that she did for the actual ceremony. 42 foot long painted aisle runner not to mention.

She got to know my husband and I's personality's and created a beautiful work of art just for us, that no one else can use, which is what we wanted; Unique. She was in contact with me everyday checking in just to see how I was holding up as a bride, which showed so much care and professionalism.

The work she did on everything was beautiful. So much time and effort went in to make our day what we dreamed of. When I needed things the next day, she got them to me, whether that was driving 2 hours to meet me.

I honestly couldn't say enough about Molly and her beautiful creation. Not only did we use her for our wedding, but we will be using her for more things. Her art is beautiful, and she can make us invitations if needed!

Molly was very easy to work with. She made multiple changes to designs based on our feedback and was accommodating in terms of where to meet and how to send us the products. I even met her in a restaurant parking lot one night to pick up our designs. She helped us with invitations, thank you cards, favor tags, guestbook frame mats, programs, and other day of paper items. It was great to have everything paper product related coordinate for our wedding, and we appreciated her attention to detail!

Can't say enough about how accomadating Molly was with me. I am a weekend crafter, stamper by heart, and always thought I would make my kids wedding invitations. But when the time came I got nervous about managing my time and committing to a final design. Molly gave me the flexibility to assembly and print her beautiful design so I still felt a part of the process. Her response and attention to details were amazing. Oh my gosh, Molly has been on a journey and a half with my family and I! We had custom Invitations, Programs, and Thank you cards!!! She did such an incredible job from the moment we began and customized everything to the extreme! We have the stunning fall invitations with a wooden door on the front and on the inside is a replica of our ceremony location!!! She had to deal with so much! 1st of all, not only was the wedding a destination wedding, but the groom and I live in HAWAII!! So we had to do all of our designing via email and phone! And golly, did Molly knock it out of the park!!! Everyone loved every aspect of her Custom designs!!!

There were only two hiccups, 1st, on the RSVP cards, we both forgot to include a line for people to put their names! And the second is that our Thank you cards came kind of late, but Molly had a ton going on, as did we, and it took us a two weeks to get her the picture from the wedding!

Everything though was stunning and I would and will recommend Molly to anyone and everyone I meet!!!!

I created my own invites, but I used Molly to print names and addresses on my envelopes. Even though this was a small job for her, she was very professional, did a great job in creating a font and color for me, and treated me as though I was placing a big order with her. She was very friendly and pleasant to interact with.
