Incredible Music

Maura & Co. delivered us the most beautiful music for our Church wedding ceremony. We worked with Claudia to plan everything - she was amazing! She was very familiar with our Church and guided us in planning each step of the way. We elected the 4-musician option with a cantor, harp, violin, and woodwinds. The harp was stunning and our female vocalist was unbelievable - her voice was so beautiful that it was the talk of the evening! We worked together to choose specific selections for our ceremony and it was just so lovely. We couldn't be happier with Maura & Co. - we highly recommend them to all!

Perfect special detail!

There really aren't enough ways to say how happy we were to work with Maura & Co. We can't tell you how many people have commented to us how "great the musicians were"...from the youngest to the oldest guests! And we couldn't agree more. We had the musicians (string duo) for ceremony and cocktail hour and it was the perfect special touch. Maura listened to everything we hoped for and gave us great suggestions. Our wishes were perfectly executed . We are so grateful from the bottom of our hearts for a truly unforgettable day!

Incredible Music, Service and Team!

We hired Maura & Co to provide music at our traditional Catholic ceremony in Oct 2021 after she provided beautiful ceremony music for my sister's wedding the year prior. Maura is extremely professional and very knowledgeable on what type of music and instruments you may want. She listened to me explain what my personal style was and what I was hoping for, and then offered suggestions for song choices, instruments, and vocals. She made the process quick and took some wedding planning stress off my shoulders! The musicians were incredible and I was nearly in tears at the beautifully sung Ave Maria during our ceremony- it was like I was in an absolute dream!!! Multiple guests made mention of the beautiful music following our ceremony. I highly recommend Maura and her team!

Perfectly Played

My husband and I just got married back in late August and couldn't have been more grateful to work with Maura and her musicians. We were referred to her services by our wedding planning team and from the beginning Maura was insightful and very helpful when it came to musical suggestions. Her team of musicians were lovely and made our ceremony so romantic and elegant! We couldn't recommend them more! :)

Working with Maura was a pleasure! She is a true professional and very responsive! The music was absolutely beautiful and we had so many of our guests comment on how extraordinary the singers and musicians were. They truly were the best we ever heard at a wedding ceremony!

Beautiful music for ceremony and cocktail hour

We hired Maura's team of musicians to play at our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour. Right from the start, Maura was extremely responsive and helped my husband and I pick the right mix of musicians (flute trio and a singer) that fit with our vision. The music was absolutely beautiful and we had so many of our guests comment on how much the musicians added to both the ceremony and cocktail hour atmosphere. I would definitely recommend Maura and her talented team!

We booked a harpist and vocalist. Both performed wonderfully. The priest was blown away by the performance of Ave Maria.

Maura is the most professional vendor I have ever worked with. She listens to what her clients want. She makes it all about the client and not about her. We could not be happier. Thank you Maura!

A lovely experience working with Maura for our micro wedding!

Maura and her team were so responsive and lovely! I was so happy and relieved after speaking to Maura on the phone because I was in a bind about who to hire and my husband and I took the ceremony music very seriously. Maura worked with me to make our day really special and helped us curate all of our song wants and needs - she even in a three week turnaround had her team learn XO Beyonce which was a song we were excited about for our original wedding date! I highly recommend hiring Maura!

The star of our Ceremony!

Maura and her team provided our ceremony music during our traditional catholic wedding mass. From the moment I first spoke with Maura on the phone, she was able to educate me and walk me through the wedding ceremony, helping me to choose the perfect music for each part. She was very knowledgeable on the running of a Catholic mass, and she knew exactly what instruments I needed to perfectly compliment the ceremony without being too overpowering. Every one commented on how great the music was after the ceremony. Maura's voice is beautiful and her musicians provided us with music that made our wedding a fairytale. I would recommend Maura and her team to any one looking to add the perfect special tough to their big day.

Amazing performers and service

Maura & Co provided our Music for our church wedding. The entire process was seamless and Maura is amazing and extremely warm to work with. We selected God Only Knows by The Beach Boys and Hungry Heart by Bruce Springsteen (for our entry and exit songs - along with traditional religious music during mass) both of which they played amazingly. Highly recommend!!

Months later and still thinking about how beautiful the music was....

Planning our wedding ceremony was so wonderful with Maura. She was very easy to work with and provided useful guidance... I really can't say enough great things about her... she was able to help me incorporate some of my musical tastes into a Catholic Mass... her musicians the day of were perfect---they really made the ceremony feel intimate and romantic.. Many of the wedding guests commented on beautiful the music at the ceremony was... I highly recommend Maura and her musicians...

Unforgettable Ceremony Music!

Maura and the musicians were amazing to work with. From the first consultation, Maura was so helpful and really was honest with me about what kind of music & instruments would be best for my venue and ceremony. She was super prompt and so lovely. Her musicians were also lovely and able to play all of the music we requested - even some unconventional Led Zeppelin as our recessional music!

On the day of the wedding, our wedding planner had one of her assistants on speakerphone to help cue the processional as the ceremony space was out of view from where we were hiding. I heard the music start through the phone speaker and immediately started to cry. It was so beautiful and made the ceremony feel incredibly intimate and unique. Each and every guest commented on how lovely it was to have live music. Thank you, thank you thank you!!! I cannot recommend Maura & her team enough.

Beautiful and Personalized Wedding Ceremony

Working with Maura was such an easy, fun, and enjoyable experience! She helped me create the perfect trio for our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour. My guests were in awe of the musicians and I got so much praise for how amazing they were! The bagpiper actually had my family in tears! He was definitely a show-stopper! Maura went above and beyond to make our dream ceremony come true

Everyone who came to our wedding were so impressed with how talented and incredible the music was at the ceremony, it's been 3 months and people still talk about it. Maura was able to put together a gospel choir for the ceremony as a request from my dad and they were amazing!! Maura also sang with her musicians and she has a beautiful voice and is incredibly talented as a singer. I loved working with her!

Our ceremony music was "perfect"

Maura was so incredibly sweet from the moment I first reached out regarding ceremony music for our wedding day. She tried to stay within our budget, had a great selection of instrument combinations to choose from (we went with guitar & violin), & a HUGE repository of music (if there's sheet music for it, they can make it happen & are even willing to learn the music for something they don't already have)!! I honestly can't say I remember hearing all of the ceremony music that day (I was last in the room to walk down the aisle, of course), but I'm sure everything we had on our list was covered. What I DO remember is this -- the moment the song I selected to walk down the aisle to came on ("perfect" from ed sheeran), it felt right. Everything else in the room disappeared & all I could see was my future husband waiting for me & the emotions the song brought up for both of us on that special day. All of our friends & family said the ceremony musicians were the "perfect" touch for an amazing, heartfelt ceremony. Maura, thank you so much to you & your team for knowing exactly how to pull the heartstrings (literally & figuratively) of all our guests on our special day ... it couldn't have been more "perfect"!! :)

Maura was so wonderful to work with. She walked us through everything and gave us many recommendations along the way. We ended up having a cello, piano, and violin trio which was incredible! Maura and her musicians are awesome!

The ease and pleasantness of working with Maura was such a fantastic experience! She was so engaged from the beginning, making me think of musical details that I had not of! She also offered really helpful and informative feedback for choices she did not think would work well which I really appreciated. All around she gave suggestions. Her team of musicians were so talented, easy to work with, and wonderful. Another great part of working with Maura is that her price point was incredibly reasonable! Not Just Musicians!

I had the pleasure of hiring Maura and her musicians for my daughter's wedding. I thought I was just hiring a trio and they would show up for the ceremony. Maura's service was much more - she helped us choose our music and with detail planned for the outdoor ceremony (and had a rain back up as well). Maura even came to the site pre- wedding to ensure that all would work perfectly - and it did! It is nice to hire professionals who really care.

Excellent. Enhanced the wedding ceremony.

Our daughter's wedding was October 27, 2018. From the first moment I contacted Maura, it was a wonderful experience:quick response, listened to all my requests, and did not stress me at all. Maura helped me pick the right music, and her voice was beyond beautiful, tears were flowing. The harp, violin and trumpet, just added to the joy of the Nuptial Mass. I have been to three "Maura weddings", all professional and well run. I highly recommend Maura and her company.

Fantastic from start yo finish

Maura not only has a beautiful voice, she is also very easy to work with and went the extra mile to make my wedding ceremony so beautiful. She helped us choose the best songs and we all cried listening to how beautiful they were. She also learned a new song just for us and it was amazing how she incorporated it into the ceremony. My husband and I were on the fence about having live music for the ceremony when Maura was recommended to us by our wedding planner. We knew after our first call that we wanted to work with her! Maura is warm and professional-we never felt pressured into hiring more musicians than we needed or rushed into signing a contract.

She was very helpful with song selections and even nice enough to touch base with our friend who we wanted to perform a song during the ceremony. We had a few odd song requests and her musicians learned them no problem!

We had a harpist and violinist for our end of September outdoor nuptials and obviously I was very busy the day of so sadly I did not get to meet either of them but I heard from family and the planner they were prompt and friendly! The music itself was fantastic and I really can’t stress the importance of how much string music adds to the atmosphere.

The whole process with Maura and her team was seamless and stress free but most importantly the music itself was beautiful.

Maura & Co. did an amazing job with all of the music at our wedding ceremony, and I would highly, highly recommend using Maura for anyone planning a wedding. Not only was she incredibly nice and easy to work with, she is an amazing singer and I was in awe at the amount of musical talent she and her team brought to our ceremony. Throughout the planning process, Maura was such a great resource to have - her website is so easy to navigate and she was so helpful in guiding us towards songs that would work well with the instruments we had chosen. Maura also made the planning process so easy for someone who is planning from afar - she was really flexible in setting up phone calls, and was very responsive over email. The church we were married in has an organist, and i was able to give Maura his contact information and she took care of orchestrating everything with him. I was originally given Maura’s name from one of my parents’ friends, who told us how incredible of a singer she is, and after listening to her in person at our own wedding, I couldn’t agree more. We received countless compliments from our guests on the music, commenting that it was the best music they’ve ever heard at a wedding ceremony. There were many things that made my wedding day the most fabulous day of my life, one of the biggest ones was the choice to have Maura & Co musicians! I had pretty unique music choices for our walk down the aisle (*ahem* Hamilton, anyone?) - they nailed the music and truly made the day feel unique. Not only that, but during cocktail hour my friends who are mostly performers took over the mic and keyboard and they were aces at allowing us to do it, and the transition was seamless. They were professional, incredibly talented, prompt and kind - I couldn't have asked for better musicians for my ceremony!

Maura and her musicians were absolutely fabulous! She is such a nice person and helped us with recommendations that were spot on through out the planning process. She basically served as our wedding planner before and during the ceremony as well by helping us with the timing for walking down the aisle and fixing my train. We had a harp and flute (who also played clarinet and sax at the end!) with Maura singing, which was an excellent combination. The music was so great that Maura had the whole church cheering for them at the end of communion because she blew everyone away with Let There Be Peace on Earth and Ave Maria. Some of our guests were even in tears. Everyone was telling us afterward how beautiful the music and singing was that made our ceremony truly a dream come true! Thank you so much for everything! Maura was fantastic. We were introduced to her through the church we were getting married at as she does their ceremony music.
She was so easy to work with and so kind!
She provided us with song options to choose from throughout the ceremony and when I told her we had some songs we had already chosen for different parts of the ceremony, she was incredibly flexible and her guitarist actually learned how to play instrumentals of them on guitar and did an amazing job! Maura's voice is angelic and my husband and I were blown away with her talent. Our guests couldn't stop talking about how beautiful her voice was after the ceremony. Maura also helped organize all of us walking down the aisle and gave us cues as to who was going when and she made sure there was no stress involved with any aspect of the ceremony. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a talented, professional and kind artist!

So much time and planning goes into a wedding and Maura & Co. stood by us every step of the way. Maura was a pleasure to work with and her expertise with planning a ceremony was extremely helpful since this was our 1st child getting married. One thing I was impressed with was her professionalism and promptness with all communication which totally helped keep our stress level down. My daughters wedding ceremony ran so smoothly without any nags and was everything we dreamed it would be. Maura's incredible talent with singing along with her team of musicians added a beautiful touch and helped make their ceremony perfect in every way…. Our guests are still raving about the ceremony itself which took place over 5 months ago.

One last thing….The design of Maura’s website was beautifully put together. You can tell a lot of time and effort went into her website We were able to navigate through out the site allowing us to hear various songs along with the different instruments offered. This was exceptionally helpful to us with making our song/instrument decision.

I asked my wife if I could have the honors of writing this review... simply put, Maura's musicians were outstanding and truly added to our unforgettable moment. We were lucky enough to engage Maura for our ceremony music and enjoyed amazing pieces by our cellist & pianist duet. Maura was easy to communicate with and not only provided wonderful suggestions but also made us feel comfortable asking if the musicians would be willing to learn new songs we really liked. We didn't do a first look, so everything was kept a secret including the song my wife walked down the aisle to; when they shut the doors behind the maid of honor, I just remember feeling like we were in our own movie! Maura was very easy to work with in coordinating a Jazz trio for my daughter's bridal shower. She helped us book Glauco and his band. I first met Maura through Father Quinn at St. John's the Evangelist in Mahopac, NY. My wedding was set to take place at the church and Maura would be coordinating the day and providing music during the ceremony. When I first reached out to Maura, she responded to my email immediately and was ready to chat on the phone about details the very next day. Maura guided me and my mother throughout the entire ceremony process (how many songs, types of songs). She even helped us understand what would happen before, during and after the ceremony. Maura was incredibly flexible in terms of the music we selected. We were able to include some non-traditional songs like Journey's "Don't Stop Believing." She suggested including a harp for the ceremony which was the most beautiful addition (aside from Maura's stunning voice, of course!). Maura kept me calm from the moment I stepped into the church until the moment the ceremony ended. To be honest, I wasn't sure what to expect that day, but I am completely blown away by the beauty of Maura's singing and the harp music. Maybe I'm a little biased, but it was the best ceremony I ever went to and I truly believe it was the most memorable part of the day.

Thank you Maura & Co for making my ceremony so perfect! You will always have a place in my heart when I look back at the fond memories of my wedding day.

The music provided by Maura & Co. absolutely MADE our wedding! I could not believe what I was listening to when I walked into the back of the church waiting for the "big moment". We had a countless number of people come up to us both at the reception and days after telling us that it was the most beautiful wedding mass they had ever been to because of the music. It was mesmerizing! Maura was an absolute pleasure to work with. She was always on top of our communication and knew exactly what we wanted for the mass. Maura was simply amazing. She was super responsive when I first contacted her for ceremony music for my wedding, and we met right away to discuss everything. Her website was so informative and gave me many ideas for music for my catholic mass ceremony. She even has links to hear different songs, instrumentals and psalms sung by herself. She has such an elegant, perfect voice and my family was so delighted on how she sang everything during the catholic mass. Maura and I worked together to add a harpist, organist, and violinist to accompany her singing. They all worked together so perfectly and everything sounded so beautiful, and in sync at the ceremony because of Maura's amazing talent and the musicians she works with. Maura Molloy is a lovely person and a talented musician. My family and I have been enjoying her music for years at Christmas Eve mass at our parish and I always hoped one day I would be able to have her sing at my wedding. Maura is so knowledgeable and will work with you to create your ideal wedding. She has recommendations for songs that fit seamlessly into each part of the ceremony and is also willing to learn requests. When we were planning our wedding we knew we wanted a traditional Catholic ceremony though wanted to have some of our personality reflected. In addition to the more traditional songs, Maura added an Irish song and learned our special request; her performance of the song did it every bit of justice. She was also extremely helpful putting together the best ensemble of instruments for what our budget allowed. We took her suggestion for a harpist and cannot imagine it any other way. Maura’s talent, knowledge and professionalism exceeded all of our expectations.

Having Maura, was like having a wedding planner for your church ceremony instead of the reception. She guided us through the entire ceremony making suggestions along the way. She managed the entire ceremony, sang beautifully, and kept us on point.

I had been to weddings that Maura sang at, so I knew, when the time came for any of my children to get married, we wanted Maura at the church. My son got married this summer so we called Maura this past spring. We met with Maura and she took detailed notes of their ceremony, and was a huge help in picking out just the right music for each portion of the mass. We wanted a harp only and she provided a wonderful musician who was perfect. The day of the ceremony, she showed up early to practice in the church with the harp - it was lovely for any guests that were early. She was elegant, professional, but most importantly, her voice is beautiful!! She made the ceremony so special - I would highly recommend Maura for your wedding!!!

I hired Maura to provide traditional Irish music at my wedding ceremony which was a Catholic and Anglican ceremony held a small Anglican church. I had multiple phone calls and emails with Maura and met in person; Maura was always responsive.

Maura has a deep comprehension of a Catholic mass (and all of the expectations that go along with it), traditional Irish music and what music/musician is best suited for a situation. Maura worked with me to fit my favorite traditional Irish songs into my wedding along with appropriate church songs that would be acceptable to both the Catholic priest and Anglican minister. I actually lengthened my ceremony with a unity candle just to add another song.

Maura and her musicians performed in a very small church choir loft with no back up piano or electric. The music was beautiful and we still get compliments a year later. The ceremony music was one of my favorite parts of my wedding day and would have done nothing differently. I would absolutely recommend Maura.

We had an absolutely fabulous experience with Maura. She is stellar is all ways and her voice is absolutely beautiful. She is extremely flexible and gives you accurate information about what music is available in various settings throughout her service area. She was extremely helpful the day of the wedding and helped guide the wedding party to be in the right place at the right time to make sure that things stayed on schedule and went off flawlessly. I would highly recommend Maura without the slightest hesitation.

The music that Maura & Co provided for my wedding ceremony was just stunning. Not only does Maura have a beautiful voice, but that musicians that accompany her (I had a violinist and organist) are talented and professional. Maura made the ceremony so special. Also, leading up to the big day, the planning was seamless. Maura is organized and will help guide you in your music selections, even if you know what you want and don't want (like I did), she makes sure the music and atmosphere of your ceremony comes together perfectly.

Maura was an absolute pleasure to work with for my wedding! She is incredibly talented, as well as reasonably priced. She works with an array of musicians (if you want them!), so she can coordinate any music you want. We chose a mix of music that reflected us, including traditional Catholic mass songs, contemporary, Irish music, and Broadway, all of which were done beautifully. You know how good she is, because when you sit down to talk about what music you want, she will start singing on the spot- she doesn't need any accompaniment, she's that good.

Beyond the music though, Maura is just such an awesome person! Absolutely no stress, and will work with you to pick the perfect songs to reflect exactly the tone of your wedding. We heard so many compliments on the music at our ceremony, and how much everyone enjoyed it. She also double checked my wedding program to be sure all the music was listed correctly, and emailed me in the days leading up just to ensure me that everything was all set (so nice since I had to reach out to most of my vendors to confirm). We chose to add extra instruments, all of which Maura coordinated and rehearsed with on her own time (harp, cello, violin and trumpet) and gave different instruments the lead on each song. She is AWESOME.

My daughter was recently married in a small Catholic Church in Manhattan. The music that Maura provided exceeded our expectations. She was so easy to work with and helped us with the selections. We had several guests comment to us about how fabulous the musicians were. I would highly recommend her. You will not be disappointed.

Maura Malloy helped me plan the music for my daughter's wedding. Her willingness to advise on music selections as well as instruments (harp etc) was invaluable. The music and Maura's beautiful voice made the wedding mass so beautiful and most importantly memorable. So many of our friends and family commented on how the music at church was outstanding and really enhanced the mass. Engaging Maura was one of the best decisions we made!

My wedding took place at Tarrytown on July 23rd of 2017 and Maura and her musician Oren were amazing. I only had them for my ceremony music and even though I didn’t spend a lot I was given the royal treatment. Maura helped me every step of the way and was instrumental in making my day as special as it was.
If you’re having live music for your wedding do not hesistate to give Maura a call. She’s friendly, professional and truly interested in making your day special - whether you spend $400 or $40,000!

A beautiful touch to a beautiful day

We were so happy to include Maura & Co. in our big day. Having a string trio was such a nice added touch to our ceremony and cocktail hour. The musicians were on time, professional and sounded fantastic. We decided on a DJ for our reception vs a band, but we really wanted an element of live music. So having a string trio was one of those little details that we felt would have such a big impact and really elevate the day. They played all the songs we wanted and we requested a very specific song for our recessional which they easily accommodated. You cannot go wrong hiring this team!

My husband and I used Maura for our church ceremony back in August at Lady Of The Rosary Church in Battery Park. It was truly spectacular. We used Maura, a harpist and a violin and it sounded like the heavens were singing on our wedding day. It was well worth the price and Maura was a true pleasure to work with. Our guests complimented us on our music selection the whole day. I highly recommend her :)

Maura and her musicians (including the wonderful Claudia Wigent) were fantastic - hands down! In an industry where many people can be unresponsive and unprofessional, Maura and Claudia were consistently responsive and incredibly professional. We had quite a lot of music at our ceremony and Maura and her team orchestrated the music beautifully. In addition, we used them for our cocktail hour (as there was a DJ for the reception) and the music was diverse and thoroughly enjoyed by the guests. Maura and her team responded to our emails at all times of the day and were very flexible and accommodating to our tastes.

I couldn't recommend Maura and her team more - they were absolutely wonderful!

Maura definitely goes above and beyond her role as music director! Her voice is lovely; and she sounded perfect in our church. On my wedding day when all of my bridesmaids had walked down the aisle, I was alone with my dad who had his own nerves to juggle! There was no one to help me fix my dress and make sure I looked okay! Maura stepped in--as she had in directing my bridal party down the aisle--and fixed my dress and alleviated my nerves. She was the perfect presence. Maura welcomed our music choices; and, she seemed willing to learn music unfamiliar to her if that was what we wanted. My husband and I had friends who shared their vocal and piano talents with us on our wedding day, too. I am sure most vendors contracted through a church would not have been so flexible to work with our friends, but Maura was. In one isolated incident, she was abrupt in a conversation she had with my husband about how we would use our friends as additional musicians, which was unsettling. I believe the words used to describe the choice to have another soloist sing the Ave Maria was "we may look foolish." My mom, who was too ill to attend my wedding, used to sing this song and had she been well, she'd have been the soloist. So, you can imagine I wanted this to be an incredibly personal, special part of our wedding mass. My soloist was a dear friend (and professional singer), though it wouldn't matter if we wanted my 2 year old niece to sing. Making judgement calls on another's personal wedding choices is never okay. In retrospect, I realize Maura may have been caught in the middle of us and our church in the planning process, which is a lot of personalities to juggle! And, since the pastor of our church was hot and cold with us in planning, I figure there was probably also pressure on the church's musicians. Overall, I think Maura did a nice job handling our non-traditional wedding program and our guests all commented on how great everything sounded!
