Overall, I had a good experience with Maui Professional Photography. Our photographer was very nice, easygoing, and made us feel comfortable throughout the session. The communication was also excellent—they responded quickly whenever I had questions or concerns.
When I received my photos, I wasn’t completely happy with all of them. Some of the angles were a little awkward, and I felt several photos needed additional retouching. I reached out to them, and they were very responsive. They happily retouched the photos I requested and even upgraded my photo package, which I really appreciated. Their willingness to make things right showed that they genuinely care about customer satisfaction.
While I’d rate the photos themselves around 4 stars, I’d give their customer service 4.5 to 5 stars. Because they listened to my feedback, responded promptly, and worked with me to improve the final product, I would recommend them to anyone looking for a professional and friendly photography experience in Maui.

Amazing photography
Our photographer was absolutely amazing! She was super personable and sweet. We did a vow renewal for our 10 year anniversary on the beach and she made sure to capture every moment. She made sure to let the minster know which way to face for the ceremony to make sure my hair wasn’t blowing forward to cover my face the whole time.
We did before, during, and after the ceremony shots. She made sure we got every pose we wanted and ones that she thought would be good.
It was a 10/10 experience and I would highly recommend!

Stunning 20 person group photos
Frank did an amazing job catching the wonderful moments of our family vacation. We had a group of 20 with multiple different families and he managed all of it quickly and professionally. He even got smiles out of everyone which was a feat on its own as most in our group dislike photos and usually only take a couple a year. As photographers know, pictures on the beach are a challenge as the lighting is constantly changing, but he handled it with ease. He was easy to work with, affordable, and I LOVE that we get to have ALL the digital files with our package. Nicole is such a delightful person and a wonderful professional, making the entire experience so stress free and fun!
Frank not only made the communication process super easy but he was also very understanding when I emailed him from a hotspot, explaining that due to hurricane Ian, we had no internet, and he told me to take as much time as needed to review our photos! That tells a lot about a person/professional!!!!

My husband and I got marries in 2020 (covid married). No one was allowed to be there with us, so on our vacation to Maui we decided to have Frank do some pictures for us. Best decision I have ever made!

My husband & I renewed our 25th anniversary wedding vows in Lahaina, Maui in July 2021. We hired Aloha Fun Weddings and had the pleasure of working with photographer Frank Baranik (Maui Professional Photography). Not only was he punctual, he took over 200 photos, edited then and had then ready for us to review and order one week later! We were very impressed by his great quality photographs, as well his great prices. Frank went over and beyond by extending our ordering deadline, so we could have extra time to view. He also assisted me with questions that I had about downloading the pictures. Thank you, Frank, we will definitely use you again when we return to Maui!

Easily the best experience with a photographer to date! Frank is super personable and very talented at his craft. He made sure everyone was comfortable and enjoying the experience. I am so glad that I stumbled across Frank and Maui Professional Photography. I can’t say enough about how professional Frank is and the quality of work that he provides. I was so pleased with my family session and final photographs, he made my vision come to a reality! I found him on Groupon and told him that I wanted to do a surprise vow renewal for my parents 30 wedding anniversary. He helped me find a minister, a stunning location and a florist! And all of his recommendations were incredibly kind, professional and great to work with as well! Frank is a wonderful man and truly a professional in his field. Frank of Maui Professional Photography is AMAZING!! He was so easy to work with.
We hired Frank for our elopement to Maui. I had so many questions and concerns, in each situation Frank set me at ease.
Frank had so many fantastic ideas on using the natural back drops always considering the best shot as the sun was making its exit for the day. At the last minute we requested a few photographs to include a cake cutting. Even on the fly those photographs are SPECTACULAR!!!
We HIGHLY recommend Frank and Maui Professional Photography!! He will give you the priceless gift of a moment you will cherish forever!!!

Sunset Wedding in Maui

Beach Photo Shoot
If going to Maui, Maui Professional Photography is a MUST to document a piece of your island vacation. Frank is incredible professional. From being prompt with time, corresponding, and delivery of pictures I couldn't be more pleased unless it was with the quality of the pictures themselves. They are all stunning.

Book Frank!
Frank was a phenomenal photographer. He made my wife and I feel comfortable and didn’t force us to do any cheesy poses or “try” to get the perfect photo. Frank was able to capture everything we wanted to and more. He has a couple of spots and secluded areas on the beach so that you’re not bombarded with kids or others on the beach. Fun in 2020
Frank has a way of making a family photo shoot fun! He has great photography skills, but in addition is easy to work with since we had teens to Seniors! We were planning ahead for our Christmas card and Frank made sure we got all the shots we wanted from individual photos, sibling photos, couple photos, family photos including some with Grandma, and any other idea that was thrown at him! The sunset I don’t think I can give him credit for, but Frank capitalized on it and we couldn't be happier that the sky turned the most beautiful colors and Frank shot the most amazing photos! I would not hesitate working with him. Wonderful experience for everyone and our Christmas photos are amazing!

We hired Frank for my Husband and I 17 years wedding Renewal. He did an amazing job capturing all the special moments even in the rain. He made a very stressful day for us cool, calm, and relaxing. Amazing wedding photographs
We were able to book Frank for our wedding on February 22nd, 2020 at Paipu Beach in Makena. He already captured the ceremony in great photos, we did not even notice he was taking shots. He then took about 1 hour to take lots of photos of us. We really liked his creativity and his relaxed manner. The results are absolutely great. Maui Vow Renewal Photographs
Me and my husband wanted to do something special for our first marriage anniversary, thats when we decided to have a Hawaiian style vow renewal ceremony in Maui and Frank was our photographer. He did an excellent job in capturing the beautiful moments. We are a bit naive when it comes to posing, but Frank made us totally comfortable, suggesting the poses and indeed the final result was beautiful. 25th wedding vow renewal
Came to Maui for 2 weeks with our son and daughter. Had our vow renewal on the 23rd July 2019. Our renewal took place at 9am that morning on secret beach cove (wonderful location). Frank met us at the entrance to the beach ( he was there before us). Frank was very friendly and helpful and very professional. Took his time explaining about different photos/ poses he wanted to do and was open to anything else we wanted to do, we brought some props that we wanted to incorporate into the photos. Frank took beautiful photographs, and he captured the day with flare, he made the day very special for us. We paid for all of the photos as they were all amazing. He was quick in sending us the link for the photographs he took. Excellent experience. Thank you so much.

We live on the mainland, and got Maui'd not planning or interviewing anyone. We just showed up and were greated with the Aloha spirit. The photographs were taken with love and they came out so beautiful that we couldn't decide which ones we loved best so we bought them all. Every one of them were pefect!. Baby Beach Wedding - Amazing experience!
Frank was able to put both myself and my husband at ease while going through the chaos of changing locations last minute due to inclement weather. He was outgoing, friendly, and most of all, he knew what we were comfortable posing for without even knowing us. Frank was excellent. The beach he chose for the photoshoot was perfect. We got our pictures taken at sunset and the views were stunning. Frank was professional but also made us feel very comfortable. I was initially deciding between Frank and a few other photographers but chose Frank because he seemed to have more experience and better photos. I'm SO glad we went with him. Frank was amazing! We were running behind but I never felt like we were being rushed. He knew exactly what poses and when we needed to be back at the beach to get our sunset photos. He took way more pictures than were promised in our package which just made it that much harder to choose between the photos. I would recommend Frank to anyone.

Frank photographed my beach wedding 2 weeks ago. He was absolutely amazing. He captured every moment with perfect detail. He was very professional and made us comfortable. He made us laugh and smile consistently and caught all of our genuine emotions. The photographs were everything we wanted, they looked real and beautiful. He gave us many ideas on poses, angles, where to look, was very attentive to everything we wanted to capture and so much more. These pictures will always be cherished. Thank you Frank!

Our whole wedding experience in Hawaii was wonderful, particularly when it came to our photos. Frank was professional, courteous, and did an incredible job. He made sure to include all wedding guests in photos and no one was overlooked. He took time to ask us what kind of poses/shots we wanted and incorporated those into our sunset photos. We really could not have been happier with how the pictures turned out. We cannot emphasize enough how impressed we were with the end results. He was timely in getting our photos to us and made everything very easy (we live 12 hours away). We would gladly recommend him as a photographer.

I highly recommend Maui Professional Photography . Frank was amazing throughout the whole process. The photos he took are amazing. Don’t risk hiring anyone else, you only get one shot a the photos and Maui Professional Photography won’t let you down.

Frank is an amazing photographer! Found him through Aloha Fun Wedding when I booked my destination wedding. Frank showed up on time, actually before we did... got lost and he was really sweet and patient with us. He was really good with my 7 month old, got lots of smiling photos! The pictures turned out just as imagined and I am so happy he was able to capture our special day! He even was so kind and took photos with my phone (wanted to upload some photos on social media). Frank responds to emails in a VERY timely matter! Would definitely recommend if you are looking for a photographer in Maui! :)

What a great experience for our family to have beautiful professional photos to document our trip to Maui (November 2017). Our children are just 2.5 and 6 months and Frank was amazing. He was able to really capture their little spirits - and get them to look at the camera to boot! He was warm, personable and obviously very talented! Frank recently did a family shoot for us in Maui and we were blown away by his work. He managed to capture our 8 month old baby's personality perfectly, along with the love we have for him, in a series of candid and posed shots.
His laid back nature put our family right at ease, which is why he was able to capture such beautiful and candid moments. I could go on and on because we adore all of our photos!
In addition to being creative and talented, Frank also returned our pictures to us really promptly - we look forward to working with Frank again next time we're in Maui and highly recommend him!

Frank is a very talented photographer! He photographed our wedding on a beach in Maui and the photos are breathtaking-absolutely stunning! He has an eye and real gift for capturing personalities, natural smiles, and beauty in a way that does not look rehearsed or staged.
We as well as our friends and family were completely blown away by the quality of photos and perfect moments he captured. I also appreciated the time and patience that Frank had for my Husband and I as we both can be a little camera shy, he made us feel relaxed and our photo shoot was full of laughs.
As a plus, he is extremely responsive to phone calls and emails which I very much appreciated. I highly recommend!

We were in Maui for our honeymoon and picked Frank for a honeymoon photo shoot, which quickly became a highlight of our trip. Frank did a great job, and helped make our wedding a very special day. He was already there waiting for us when we arrived, helping to pick out the best spot for the photos. He was very good at walking us through the various shots, making the most of the beautiful beach setting. He was also flexible and willing to take any photos we suggested. We had our baby girl with us, and he was really accommodating both taking photos and working with her. We were really happy with the photos and appreciative of his work.

My husband and I were blessed to have Frank Baranik as our photographer for our recent wedding ceremony. Frank is extremely professional, and really went above and beyond to capture our memories for us. He was very open to suggestions for the photographs, but also had a lot of creative and fun ideas. Frank was our photographer for our wedding on Kapalua Bay Beach. We are not photogenic people and were nervous about having our pictures taken. Frank was very professional and made us feel relaxed from the start. Our photo's turned out amazing, my favorite are the ones of the turtle that came up on the beach.
