I'm not exaggerting when I say all my wedding guests shared they had the best wedding meal at my big day. Mattison's blew it out of the park. It was a total experience.
From passed creative appetizers and stunning cheese display to perfectly executed salads/entrees, and overflowing dessert table, each course was devoured. And you can't forget the tastiest late night taco bar!! Most importantly, Each person on their team was so professional, kind and welcoming. We even had one of the staff leaders personally cater/care for my husband and I throughout the evening to ensure we ate on our wedding evening. Truly exceptional catering company.
I also want to personally thank Kourtney, who worked with us the whole way. She planned the best tasting menu the year prior, dealt with multiple date changes due to Covid, patiently handled my indecisiveness on the final menu, welcomed personalizations to the menu, and made seating chart/assignment details so easy. She is hyper-responsive and knows how to work so well with other vendors. Not to mention, she is just fun :)

What an incredible company. Truly from the day we had our first called we were just so taken care of and knew they were the caterers for us. Our tasting was absolutely incredible, even when we weren’t sure on something the chef switched it up so it would be exactly what we wanted! They were an absolute joy to work with!! Then on the day, it couldn’t not have gone more perfect. They handled our bar, cocktail hour and dinner service and it was all 10/10. The hors dvours were delicious, they created a beautiful charcuterie table for us, the bar tenders were great (they were able to adjust the spirits and beers for us to be our favorites), and most importantly dinner was incredible. Everyone was raving about the food!! We were worried about it being transferred from the cooks tent to dinner (we had an entirely outdoor wedding and it got chilly at night) and the plates were all piping hot!! The service was top notch and I really couldn’t recommend them any more. -

I have to be honest, we did not even do a tasting before hiring Mattison's. We live a few hours away and food was not at the top of my priorities for the wedding. Mattison's had good reviews, was approved by our wedding planner and venue, reasonable pricing, allowed us to buy our own alcohol, and most importantly, had a straightforward contract, unlike some other caterers in the area we spoke with. Lisa at Mattison's was so wonderful to work with: pleasant, responsive, and flexible. Our guests turned out to have a laundry list of food allergies and they handled it no problem. So many guests commented on how great the food was. Highly recommend hiring them for your wedding! -

My husband and I are so glad we had Mattison's cater our wedding! Kourtney Culler was absolutely fantastic to work with. She did a wonderful job curating a creative menu, and then took great care of us (along with our parents) during our tasting. She made adjustments based on feedback extremely well, and even inquired about some off-menu additions. The food was not only delicious and filling at our tasting, but the same was more than true at the wedding. Our guests were more than satisfied by the end of dinner (many too full for dessert and the late night snack!). In addition to the great food, the service was equally commendable. We all felt so well attended. As a busy bride and groom, they did a fantastic job of going above and beyond to make sure any of our dining needs were met. We highly recommend Mattison's catering! -

We had our wedding reception dinner at Mattison’s Forty-One for 10 guests. The staff did an amazing job! If we had 10X the number of guests I feel the outcome would of been the same. Chef Paul, Kourtney, and staff did an outstanding job! -

We hired Mattison's Catering & Kourtney Culler for my daughter's wedding on June 5,2021 at the Mote Aquarium. I cannot say enough great things about this team! Because we reserved in 2019 for a planned 2020 wedding, the Catering Manager was actually replaced twice and yet Mattison's never skipped a beat. We also had to postpone the wedding from the original October 2020 date because of the pandemic. Again, Mattison's adjusted to the new date easily. We had hired Kourtney as our wedding coordinator for the month of the wedding, but by the time the wedding actually arrived, Kourtney was now also the Catering Manager, so I have no idea how she got everything done. First of all the food was incredible. All our guests raved about it and everything was handled with a smile. The Wedding Captain was helpful and super friendly at the wedding. They were on schedule the whole night and we had the cocktail hour in a completely different building, and still everything was done to perfection. And I don't even know where to start with Kourtney. She was INCREDIBLE!!! My daughter lives in GA and I live in PA so planning this wedding would have been difficult at any time, let alone during a pandemic! From the time, Kourtney came on board, she handled everything!! We didn't have to worry about anything because Kourtney took care of it all. She was supposed to only work till 9 the night of the wedding but she was still there when we left at 11. The whole day from beginning to end was perfect, and that is in large part due to Kourtney and her incredible organization. We had a lot of moving parts so I was really nervous about it all coming together, but Kourtney pulled it off and made it look easy. Plus, she's super friendly, professional and easy to work with. Thanks to Mattison's and Kourtney, my daughter's wedding was exactly as we imagined. I would encourage everyone to use their services. You won't regret it! -

Kourtney Culler was our pseudo planner, because we didn't have the traditional big wedding, but rather a small, intimate and elegant elopement. She was fantastic to work with and we appreciated all her help & support! Even though our affair was small, she made sure to provide us feedback in a timely manner and acted as a conduit for other vendors to make the process easy for us. She made us feel confident that every detail was taken care and every aspect of our day would go as planned. She even went above & beyond and hung our floral piece that was prepared by my Mother on the ceremony arch for us.
As for the food, it was awesome! We didn't get to enjoy too many of the hors d'oeuvres, because we were taking pictures and settling down. However, the main course was spectacular. The short rib was exquisite with its tenderness and taste. The potatoes au gratin with truffle were everyone's favorite dish for the evening. We felt all the items we chose were perfect for us and would highly recommend them to anyone else looking for options.
The service was amazing, in particular Dave who was our main attendant. He attended to our every request and detail with graciousness. He acted as a consummate professional and any wedding or affair catered by Mattison's would be lucky to have him as their primary server.
We would highly recommend utilizing Kourtney, Mattison's and the rest of her team to take care of all your wedding needs. -

We found our caterer, Mattisons, and Kourtney, the catering specialist, before we found just about anything. We knew with these guys we were in the best of hands, and we were. They were so accommodating and flexible and willing to work with us on everything. Kourtney really knows her catering “stuff” and she is just a sweet bubble of energy and style. -

Working with Mattison’s and Kourtney Culler made my wedding planning experience seamless. They were flexible, organized, timely, and a pleasure to work with.
The food was amazing! We served our dinner as a buffet and everyone went for seconds. I highly recommend the short ribs- A huge hit! The cake design was gorgeous and delicious. I was consulted throughout the entire process regarding how the cake would look and what ingredients I preferred.
Kourtney was great at taking charge of the rehearsal and making sure all my vendors were on schedule. I knew I was in good hands so I could relax and truly enjoy my wedding day.
I highly recommend using Mattison’s for any event. They are the best!

Mattison's catered our wedding in November 2019 and they were absolutely fabulous. I was paired with Catering Sales Manager, Kourtney Culler and I can't begin to say enough about her. She literally held my hand through the entire wedding planning process - I would have been lost without her! The team worked with me every step of the way and helped deliver the experience I envisioned, all while staying in my budget. Oh, and the food was delicious :) Would highly recommend! -

Mattison's catering was a perfect choice. With them we had worries free, amazing wedding. Jessica was such and amazing person to work with, always in touch and answering all our questions. Jessica made sure that all our notes and wishes were taken care of and everything went smooth at the wedding day. The food was delicious too :) We were very happy to work with them and highly recommend them to you. They also have a restaurant in Sarasota if you want to try them out))) -

My beautiful bride and I had the pleasure of the Mattison’s team taking care of us on our big day. We had the honor of working directly with Kourtney as our wedding planner. Every step of the way she made sure that our vision for our big day was brought to life. At any given point we knew we could look around and we could find her for the little things and trust her with the big things. She never stood in a corner somewhere and “delegated” but instead was right in the thick of it with us. Unboxing, setting up lights, hanging fabrics, making sure we had a drink in our hands or some food in our belly’s while being pulled a million different directions. The morning of it was so sweet to wake up to a message saying, “happy wedding day!” and beginning the checklist of ensuring both myself and the bride had everything we needed.
Now, side stepping to the food... oh my goodness. Mattison's took care of our cocktail hour, signature drinks, dinner, BEAUTIFUL cake, and late night snack. Everything was hands down, without question, beautifully presented and tasted even better (didn't think that was possible.) There was no sacrifice on our design. Never once did we look around and see something that we didn't want. We brought the vision to the team and with open arms and big smiles were told, "let's do this" Looking back on our pictures my bride and I continue to smile and talk about the greatness that is the Mattison's team. Thank you so so so so much, it is because of this team that our day was so much more magical than we ever thought it would be.

Chantel Sent on 04/28/2014Mattison's was by far the absolute BEST. Paul and Heidi were lifesavers and far exceeded all our expectations. We were hesitant at first because the prices were a little higher than others and Jessica, our first contact at Mattison's, was hard to work with. But after our tasting we had no doubt they were/are the best. We changed our menu and budget and rental needs numerous times and every time Heidi was extremely flexible and helpful. On the days leading up to our wedding, Paul met with us twice at our venue to go over table and chair placement. He was so knowledgable and we were confident with his work. On our wedding day they were the first ones on scene and the last ones to leave, planning and rearranging everything due to weather. We are still getting compliments on how amazing the food was, our steak was even better than most steak houses we've been to. Also, get your cake here! Delicious!! My advice is start here first and work everything else out around Mattison's. With some of the other issues we were having with other vendors, Paul and Heidi took charge and saved our wedding. -

Dana Sent on 05/19/2013We had our rehearsal dinner at Mattison's Forty-One. My MIL coordinated with Heidi and said she was wonderful to work with. They were very flexible with what we wanted. We booked the private room which was wonderful and spacious for our party. The food was delicious and we received many compliments from our guests! The staff was very attentive and accomodating. My dad had a photo powerpoint and Mattison's provided a screen, microphone, and projector. I would definitely recommend Mattison's Forty-One! -

We had a small budget, but they were happy to work with us anyway and far exceeded our expectations for "wedding food". Mattison's was by far the easiest vendor I worked with while planning our wedding, they are attentive, prompt, and all around nice people! The only reason they did not get a perfect rating is that our wedding cake did not make it in one piece, but it still tasted perfect. I am so impressed with them and very grateful they were able to cater our wedding.
