Lakeside Afternoon Wedding - May 23, 2026
We had such a great experience working with Matthew! He was incredibly easy to work with from start to finish and was very flexible with the timeline we had planned.
On our wedding day, we ended up running behind, and honestly, he saved us. As the sun was setting, he jumped right in, kept everyone moving, and gave clear direction to my husband, me, and all of our family for photos. He made what could have been a stressful situation feel completely manageable and kept everything on track without making us feel rushed.
His calm, professional attitude and ability to think on his feet made such a difference. We were able to relax and enjoy the moment because we knew he had everything under control. We’re so grateful for all of his hard work and can’t recommend him enough!

Matthew was seriously amazing! He took so many pictures, and the whole session felt so easy and fun. He helped us with every pose and made sure we were standing the right way so the pictures turned out great. He kept us laughing the whole time, which made everything really natural.
I was impressed with how fast he got everything back to us. He uploaded all of our photos that same night, and by the next morning he had already sent over some edited ones!

Matthew was absolutely incredible and one of the best decisions we made for our wedding.
From the beginning, he was professional, organized, and easy to work with. He helped guide us through timelines, made us feel comfortable in front of the camera (I definitely needed help with that haha), and really took the time to understand what we wanted out of our photos.
On the day of the wedding, he was everywhere in the best way possible, capturing all the important moments without ever feeling intrusive. He kept things running smoothly and made sure we stayed on track while still enjoying the day. Often cracking jokes or telling stories to help keep the mood high and light.
The photos turned out amazing and truly captured the feel of our wedding. We’ll be able to relive those moments for years to come.

We originally planned for a simple courthouse wedding, thinking that was our only option but thankfully, things changed. We ended up getting married at sunset in the most beautiful park, surrounded by the people we love. It was everything we didn’t know we needed, and Matthew captured it all perfectly. We are beyond grateful to have had this special moment photographed so beautifully.

Batchellor elopement
I found Matthew on an Austin area bridal facebook page, he was punctual, knowledgeable & gave us beautiful photos! Aside from his work, what caught my eye is he offered a budget friendly package that suited our needs. We chose for him to come shoot the elopement for 2 hours and received all our images before we left Austin the next morning. They're absolutely beautiful and you won't regret hiring him! Easy flexible affordable
Matthew is an excellent photographer. Matthew got recommended to us by our venue Texas old town. We called a few other photographers but his prices were the best and after getting our touches up pictures we are impressed and he delivered amazing results. From the beginning Matthew was so easy and flexible with the booking and payment. We agreed on a contract and met day of the wedding. The day of the wedding he jumped right in, me and my husband were busy and he noticed. he wasted no time getting detail shots and looking back at it I’m glad he did. those small moments mean so much and during getting ready that was never communicated and I’m glad he took initiative to do this. Matthew walked us through poses and easy going, he broke the ice with both of our families and this was a big plus for us as the pictures were fun to do. Matthew was so helpful in more ways than photography, he and our DJ were willing to work together if we didn’t have a wedding coordinator. We had multiple family helping with this but if your getting married you may have seen wedding coordinator prices and you will see why this is soo important. He also kept us on schedule. Throughout the wedding he came up to me and my husband asking if we were okay. HE HELPED CUT OUR CAKE. He walked us through the pose and how to do our first bite and HELPED SERVE CAKE TO OUR GUEST. My wedding was perfect and waking up the next day to have the raw photos available, it’s very clear Matthew cares deeply about his profession and it’s so understandable why he gets so many good reviews. I will recommend him every chance I get and he will be my got to photographer. Thanks Matthew!

We highly recommend Matthew. We hired Matthew for our engagement and wedding photography as well as for officiant service during the wedding ceremony. Matthew was consistently prompt, reliable, and accommodating both throughout our wedding process and during our photography sessions. He has a great eye for pose suggestions. Matthew was also very timely and prompt with getting the photos uploaded for us at lightning speed right after the photography sessions, which helped us a lot and allowed us to use our engagement photos as displays at our wedding ceremony. We had wedding guests who wanted pictures on their phones and he was very gracious in managing multiple outside cameras. As an officiant he gave us multiple options for how to make the ceremony personalized for us. Overall, highly recommended!

The day of our wedding was hectic as it rained and we had to move everything indoors. As soon as he arrived, Matthew was willing to help out wherever needed, even moving things from outdoors to indoors. The photos came out fantastic. Matthew was on time and so helpful! He made sure to get every shot on my photo want list and more! He was organized and knew exactly what would look best. My photos came out great and were ready to view literally the next day! I am obsessed with all the photos! He also made sure to get every shot with our friends and even stayed a few minutes over his time to get some shots of our first dances!! It was obvious how much he cared about getting us all our shots and making sure we loved them! We actually got quite a few compliments from some of our guests at how great our photographer was so he had evidently had great interactions with guests as well. Experienced but Affordable
You can trust Matthew Chambers to deliver great photos without overcharging you. We hired Matthew to shoot our wedding, and from the start of our correspondence I knew I was making the right decision. I appreciated his no-nonsense business model and years of experience. He knows what works, and does it. However, I didn't feel like I got a "one size fits all" treatment. I can't think of a shot I was hoping for that he did not capture. Admittedly, I was hoping for classic simple photos before and during the ceremony, because I think that's what we'll apprecite most years from now. However, he was ready with plenty of pose suggestions when we were feeling awkward or not sure what we wanted to do next. On the flip side, when it came to candid photos, he got plenty that captured guests' personalities and the relaxed yet festive vibe of our reception. Thanks to his experience in the Austin wedding and event scene, he had shot at my venue before, and was familiar with some of the best places for photos. My friends appreciated his offer to take posed portrait-like photos of them on the balcony. A practical bonus was that he had room in his contract and schedule to stay later for an additional cost, if necessary. Our wedding didn't run late, but it was nice to know that he would be flexible to capture as much of the evening as appropriate. I would absolutely recommend Matthew Chambers to anyone who needs a wedding photographer!

Matthew was early to our venue and so easy to work with. He was respectful, professional and really listened to what the client wanted or was looking for and easily adjusted to our needs. I highly recommend this photographer. His turn around period was phenomenal. Will definitely use him in the future for any special life events.

Photos came out better than I could have dreamed
We used Matthew for our wedding and engagement photography. I found his website online and decided to go with him based off of his pictures and his reviews.
He gives good direction when taking photos about certain poses. If you want him to he will move your body to exactly how he wants you to be for a professional looking photo. I felt like I looked awkward but the photos turned out amazing. I am not into the boudoir photos he was discussing but he was definitely good at posing me for engagement photos.
He is very very talented and has a keen eye for detail and creativity. He was able to get all the shots we wanted and shots that we didn’t know we needed and was able to do it in very little time. His pictures turned out really well before they were even edited. He is able to change his camera settings before he takes a picture so all 1000+ pictures of ours look edited and ready to go already.

Totally awesome photographer, especially for this bride that didn't know what she wanted except to have "good pictures".
He had a great way of making everyone feel comfortable and folded right in as if he was just a guest taking pictures.
The photos came out SO GREAT. He had a wonderful way of directing without it feeling forced or like a chore so he could get the most perfect shots.
He was very responsive to all my questions and emails. He was affordable, and has a lot of different package options for budgeted weddings or blow out weddings.
We would definitely go back to Matthew when we have need for a photographer again.

Amazing Wedding photographer!
Matthew was an incredible photographer. Every step of the way he eased my stress and made sure I have amazing photos that will last a lifetime. He always was available to answer questions, deal with parents who were worried and stress and make sure everything was flowing and on schedule. Not only did he help me with my poses to accent my curves, he helped me find a makeup artist for the day of, help with the organization of the bridal party since there was a uneven number of groomsmen to bridesmaids and dealt with the stress of family wanting to take control. I highly highly recommend him and will be booking him again for other services he offers. If you want a 5 star photographer and experience you should book Matthew Chambers.

Saved My Wedding
Matthew Chambers did a phenomenal job for our wedding! He didn’t just take amazing photos but saved our wedding in the process. He showed up early and did an evaluation of the venue inside and out to determine what he had to work with. We had no wedding planner and the DJ was supposed to keep the time line of events and keep things going but had his friend fill in so we were in a panic from the start. Matt said don’t worry I have you covered. He helped all the guys get their ties right, joked around with the entire bridal party, and myself to ease all of our nerves. Not only did he take some of the most amazing photos, he captured every part of our wedding, and also kept the guest entertained as he got some great shots of them. With all of his expertise he was able to jump in and help everyone know where to go and what to do. There are always going to be problems at any event but everyone will be so caught up in the day, nervous, and not thinking straight. There were a number of those and we just panicked but Matt was calm, cool, and professional and solved those that came up one right after another. One of those issue was the wine was left in the trunk of a car all day and we thought now we have no wine. Matt told the groomsman after their pictures to go get the wine set the timer on the phone and put it in the freezer and it will be perfect for the guests by the time we get done with the rest of the photos. I still can’t get over all the great shots he got of everything including some candid shots no other photographer would have thought of. The following day, I looked over the shots he took and he got one of me and two close friends who huddled up with me before it kicked off to pray with me because I was a nervous wreck. It was a great moment and he got it with and many others. Our entire day is now captured in every detail with magnificent photos. His prices are so affordable, and you get more than a wedding photographer when you use Matt. One of our guest commented after she saw the photos and asked what we paid and was shocked because she paid three times that amount and didn’t get anything close to what we had in quality of shots and all the extra things Matt did to make our day perfect.

We had a great experience on this photo shoot, which is not something I ever thought I would find myself saying! My fiancé and I are incredibly awkward, but Matthew made sure our shoot was enjoyable and that we felt comfortable. A Non-pressure photographer who provides great photos!
We connected with Matthew Chambers Photography on Facebook, and enjoyed seeing his work online. Matthew was easy to communicate with, and as we wanted more outdoor photos towards sunset, we went with his location suggestion. So glad we did! The photos came out great, and then the touchups were even better! What I also appreciate about Matthew was how easy it was to connect with him. You never meet someone before, now they are taking some special photos of you and your love (ours were engagement), and hopefully its not awkward and they know what they are doing. There is always that chance. But with Matthew - after the first couple minutes we felt at ease, and he shot the first couple photos and we were impressed. He clearly asked permission before moving us into poses as well as inquired if we felt safe and healthy enough to do something (like my Fiancé to hold me or dip me). Matthew is so easy going and builds such a good rapport that we would have invited him along for dinner after. He also provided a quick turn around for the photos - quicker than I expected! I could easily download them now to my social media and make invitations. Very helpful, and worth every penny.

Fun photographer
Matthew was super fun to have at our wedding, he made sure every photo he took was beautiful. I love the pictures and am glad we hired him! He was also very flexible with us having to change our date and venue!

My husband and I cannot tell everyone enough how great Matthew is! He is professional, funny, honest and he helped us save our wedding!
When our original venue cancelled last minute, Matthew told us not to panic and reached out to the venue/vendor community for any availability. We had a new, beautiful venue the next day.
Oh, and our pictures (both engagement and wedding) are phenomenal!

Amazing photographer!
Amazing photographer... we chose Matt for our engagement shoot. He is so amazing at what he does and made us feel so comfortable. He shower us pictures as we went through the shoot to make sure everything was going as expected. A must hire for the photos and experience.

I picked Matthew Chambers from his pricing and wasn't disappointed! Only $150 for 2 hours and digital copies of all the photos! He knows how to keep you laughing and comfortable! I know a lot of guys dread these kind of things but my future hubby was even enjoying himself! Would definitely recommend!!

Amazing to work with
Matthew was awesome to work with my my wedding in June! He took beautiful pictures, and worked incredibly hard, not only during the wedding day, but for my bridal portraits 2 weeks prior. We had around 150 guests at two separate locations, and he was amazing at capturing every moment. He was incredibly easy to work with before-hand and gave us photos that we’ll cherish forever!

Great Wedding Photographer
After our wedding someone asked me if the photographer was a friend of mine. I said, “He is now!”
That really sums up how Matthew treated us at our wedding – like a very good friend. He was very professional and knew how to quickly and easily pose everyone to get the best shots possible, but more than that… he let our amateur photographer friends and family get their shots once he posed everyone, he even helped some of the guests recommending proper settings on their cameras and phones, he treated everyone with respect and was very friendly and unobtrusive yet he got the shots of everyone and everything. And this takes the cake… he actually cut the cake for us!
I highly recommend Matthew for all your photography needs! His pricing is unmatched, and he really does treat you like a family.

Great wedding photographer
Highly recommend Matthew Chambers for wedding photography. Very budget friendly as you can pay hourly instead of other photographers ridiculously priced packages. He gets all the unedited pictures back to you by the end of the night. He was very organized, knowledgeable, and helped us keep the wedding moving on time.

From dealing with the cold to the owl. Yes I said owl. The photos are breathtaking. He worked with him was great. I cant sing his praises enough. Awesome Bridal Shoot!!
Matthew was excellent. He was quick to respond to my initial contact. He was courteous and professional and set up an appointment with us right away. At the photoshoot he was on time and got right to work. Matthew did NOT waste any of our 2 hours. He spent the entire time posing and shooting photos. He was thorough and listened all of our concerns.
Our pictures were posted that night and they were gorgeous. Almost 400 pictures! Lots of different poses and angles. Matthew takes beautiful pictures!
