  Sandy and her staff did a fabulous job with our wedding flowers and pew bows! She provided us extensive expertise and helped us make choices for flowers that would make the church look beautiful on our wedding day. She met with us on a few occasions to make sure she had our order and preferences correct as well as took samples of our colors to match them perfectly. We appreciate that they delivered flowers both to the Bride’s house as well as the church so that everyone could get their flowers in a timely manner. She and her staff decorated the church perfectly with our altar decorations, pew bows, and flowers to decorate the candles. She can be difficult to find as the store is now located in the back of a local funeral home but she does a fantastic job! We would definitely recommend Matta’s Florist! - Nathan & Becky

  Wonderful service from Sandy C. Her artistry with flowers was right in tune with the bride. Excellent job! Beautiful flowers for wedding party and venue. Colors matched wedding party and all! Church flowers were so elegant! Received many compliments from guests.

  Matta's florist is great quality for a great price. The florist I worked with was so accommodating and she was so good at explaining the difference in flowers to me. She showed me ways to cut costs, and she also gave me price ranges that were within my budget. My sister and I both used this florist and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for great arrangements that are within a reasonable price!

  The flowers were beautiful at our wedding. We sat down with the owner and told her our thoughts about what flowers we liked for wedding party and the the rest of the wedding. She had lots of ideas and did all the arranging for us and it was perfect!! Guests were impressed on how well the flowers matched the girls dresses and the theme for the wedding. Will recommend to others in the future!

  My sister utilized Matta's for her wedding a year ago and based on the quality/ value/ expertise received for her wedding, I chose to go with Matta's as well. The owner and operator, Sandy, is incredibly knowledgeable and creative. My sister was very specific with her budget and knew exactly what she wanted. Sandy worked with her to give her the best bang for her buck. I was the exact opposite. I had pictures from about 20 different weddings and a general idea of what I wanted but no clue of how to bring my vision together. Sandy listened to my ideas and then pieced it together in about 5 minutes. I was astounded that she was able to figure out what I wanted after I spent 3 months pouring over images. She is amazing. She handled the delivery to 4 different locations in Pittsburgh, set up the church (including some amazing pew bows), coordinated with our reception venue, and assisted the venue with set up. As for cost, I spent 1/3 of what I had budgeted and had more flowers than I have ever seen for any wedding I have been to. Her shop is small and quaint; do not be thrown by its appearance. She knows all the best vendors and is amazing to work with.

  Not impressed. I sent pictures of the specific bouquets I wanted for the girls and did not get them. Everyone's flowers fell apart. The wrist corsages were on white velcro strips. My centerpieces had flowers added to them even though I specifically asked that they only contain gerber daisies.
