Matt Winter Band performed at our wedding on 4/29/23 for our ceremony with violin, Matt solo on guitar for cocktail hour and the full band for the reception. The entire day was perfect and each guest came up to me and said how incredible the band was. All our guests were on the dance floor (including my husband who never dances). Matt and the full band made our wedding everything I dreamed of. If you’re thinking of going with a band, hire Matt, it’ll make your wedding unforgettable! -

The Matt Winter Band made our wedding truly unforgettable! From Matt Winter's captivating vocals and guitar skills during the cocktail hour to the energetic five-piece band that had everyone dancing all night, they were incredible. With soothing vocals and mesmerizing talent, Matt created an ambiance our guests adored.
Their outstanding musical talent and infectious energy kept everyone on the dance floor all night. We were amazed by their seamless management of our surprise dance, including a memorable rap performance. Despite the small room, they skillfully kept the volume at the perfect level, ensuring everyone could enjoy the music without it being too loud.
We're so happy we picked the Matt Winter Band for our wedding and highly recommend them. Their talent, passion, and attention to detail made our special day truly exceptional. -

We are so happy we chose Matt Winter Band for our wedding. They played incredible music and kept the party going the entire reception. They did and awesome job with the few songs we asked them to learn for our wedding. They KILLED it performing our first dance song. The saxophone solo they perform is well worth it. What an incredible show they put on the entire way, starting with the ceremony until the last song! Highly recommend! -

If you're looking for a wedding band that will get your guests on their feet and keep them dancing all night long, The Hype is the perfect choice. Our package included an acoustic guitar soloist during the ceremony and cocktail hour, and a four-piece band during the reception. From the moment they take the stage, this band exudes energy and enthusiasm, creating an atmosphere of celebration that's perfect for any wedding. We loved their versatility–from classic wedding standards (we danced to Etta James’ “At Last”), modern hits (the groom walked down the aisle to an acoustic rendition of Kid Cudi’s “Pursuit of Happiness”), and everything in between.They were flexible and incorporated all of our inputs and preferences. We would highly recommend The Hype to anyone in search of a wedding band that's skilled, versatile, and knows how to get the party started. -

Words cannot express how amazing Matt Winter and his band are in every way. Top talent and professionalism. Matt sang solo at our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour. Our wedding was at Opal Sands Resort in Clearwater Beach. We had the band play at our wedding reception and we also got the photo booth through them. My guests cannot stop talking about how amazing their team member running the Photo Booth was and how great the band performed. I was referred by a friend that had hired Matt in the past for corporate events. His team was so responsive and extremely helpful before and after the event, I was so impressed by them and if you are contemplating making the investment in live music, they are the absolute best! -

Book them!
Music was one of the most important things my husband and I booked for our wedding. We both love to dance and knew we wanted live entertainment. When we found Matt Winter Band, we fell in love with the energy they brought to events. Once I booked MWB, I received the best customer support with all of their employees. Sara was a huge help and so responsive/kind. Our dance floor was never empty and our family and friends are still raving about this band! They made our reception the best party we could have ever dreamt of! -

Matt Winter Band is the best of the best! We knew going into our Big Day to expect great things from them - and they still managed to exceed all expectations! Between their great song selection and high energy entertaining, they had our guests of all ages dancing all night long. Despite our wedding day also being the day Hurricane Nicole landed in Tampa Bay, the band didn't skip a beat. Additionally, Matt Winter's expertise helped guide us with A/V decisions for our multi-room reception layout to ensure guests had high quality sound no matter which room they were in. If you like jazz, we also STRONGLY recommend addition of saxophone player --- not only did he provide great background music at during cocktail hour and dinner, but also serenaded my husband and I on the dance floor during our private last dance (a truly "WOW" moment). Matt Winter Band truly took our magical day to the next level, and our guests are STILL talking about them! -

If you want your guests talking about your wedding forever, hire Matt Winter Band!!! They were phenomenal. I had steel drums for ceremony, Matt Winter and Sax for cocktail and 13 piece band for reception. The dance floor was packed. Dueling sax and trombone came onto the dance floor. I cried. Literally will never forget that evening! -

My daughters wedding at Casa Feliz couldn't have been more perfect. We chose the Matt Winter Band because their repetoire was so much deeper than the typical wedding band. They were awesome and the music was amazing. We highly recommend their talent and professionalism. -

Matt Winter Band is hands down the BEST band you will ever book for your wedding. He and the band were spectacular from start to finish! Matt performed live acoustic during our cocktail hour and sounded like an angel. Once we got into the reception and Matt Winter Band started playing, the dancing literally never stopped!! Special shoutout to the saxophone player as well who had a full on SOLO during one of the songs in the middle of the dance floor while everybody was going wild around him. Truly a moment in the night we will never forget! And to top it off, we included the DJ package which was life-changing. The DJ read the rooms energy so well and played all the right songs to keep everyone on their feet. Seriously. Our guest DID NOT WANT TO LEAVE because the music was too good. This was the best investment we made for our wedding! -

Matt Winter Band absolutely killed it - in the best possible way. I was dead set on having live entertainment, but my fiance was convinced it wasn't necessary. Safe to say he sees it my way now, haha. We had an small, intimate wedding, so we wanted to make sure our guests were well taken care of and really enjoying themselves. We got so many compliments on our violinist at the ceremony, and Matt Winter performed solo at our cocktail hour. The five piece band was perfect for our reception, and Matt Winter DJ'd when the band wasn't playing. They also had a pretty impressive lighting set up, and even let us steal the show a few times. Their entire team was awesome to work with from start to finish. If anyone is on the fence about hiring a local band versus a DJ, I'm here to tell you it's worth every penny, and MWB is the BEST.
