  I am so ridiculously happy with our decision to book Mastori’s as our Caterer for our Wedding! The food was ridiculously delicious and the service was beyond compare. Almost two weeks later, and we are still receiving rave reviews about our cocktail our spread, buffet & desserts.
  I worked with Eric leading up to the big day and he was phenomenal: easy to reach, willing to answer all my questions (no matter how silly they were) and willing to give his honest opinion when asked for it. The menu tasting was phenomenal, and from that day on I knew we had made the right choice. I couldn’t wait to get my plate of Beef Wellington Puffs delivered to me at the cocktail hour (which was my only wish and it was granted, YUM!)
  We did not come without our challenges, my husband (the groom) is allergic to pretty much everything and they were able to accommodate him with ease. They made sure they knew what was in everything and made his platter up without having to ask him the day of what to avoid. They also made our entire wedding cake Vegan (which is not an easy task) and it was both delicious and gorgeous! We were given out platters first in order to make sure we ate (which is rare for a bride and groom) and we were constantly checked on making sure we didn’t need any other food or drinks. The staff, lead by Lisa, was so friendly and everything moved so seamlessly, I could not have asked for a more perfect caterer. Lisa also helped with the coordinator to set up the room and make sure everything was in perfect position and looking fabulous! I sincerely could not be happier with Mastori’s (I LOVE THEM, IF YOU COULDN’T TELL) and would recommend them for any event you need catered!

  Eric and his team were incredibly helpful and flexible with what we wanted on our big day. They were so accommodating and professional. They were a very calm presence in our wedding!

  Eric and the team at Mastoris are just incredible! Food was delicious, service was top-notch, very professional. We knew early on we were in good hands with Eric and he did not disappoint. Guests are still complementing us on the food and the overall experience which was all thanks to Mastoris.

  Mastoris was amazing with everything they did from the food, our cake, to setting up the hall to look absolutely stunning. Eric is amazing and most willing to work with you on anything you want or need to make your day run smoothly. He worked with us on pricing, picking a menu, wine selection, and let us pick the specific beer we wanted to have served at the wedding. Eric and his crew made the hall look perfect for our perfect day. I would suggest them to anyone searching for a caterer for their special day.

  Mastoris catered our wedding at The Crescent Shrine October 2nd 2010. Eric Harpell was the catering Director him and his crew did a fabulous job. They went above and beyond my expectations. I am a very detailed oriented person and it was difficult for me to trust that they would set up everything the way I wanted, yet once I walked into that venue I was more then satisfied with the job they did. The food was awesome, my guest raved about how good everything was and the how beautiful the presentation was.
  
  Mastoris also made my wedding cake and did a wonderful job! I knew what I wanted my cake to look like and could not find a exact picture but, after telling them want I wanted I was in ahhhh at how beautiful it turned out it was everything I wanted!

  A Nightmare from Start to Finish

  Wish I could give zero stars. Tried to have them cater our wedding and the experience start to finish was a nightmare. Our first choice caterer was booked before we could book them, so we decided to go for our second choice, Mastoris.
  
  We should have been concerned when Donna repeatedly failed to answer direct questions in email and badgered us for phone numbers even after we said we'd prefer to communicate through email. We pushed through that because we were desperate only to have the proposal come a week after it was promised with SEVERAL changes from what we'd discussed, all of which escalated the price.
  
  Donna repeatedly pushed her own agenda on us for our wedding and defended that agenda to us even after we'd said no. She does not know the meaning of customer service. She should not be in this business. Because of her, we're up a creek four weeks out from our wedding.

  Mastoris Catering's reply:

  I am really sorry Logan. Communicating your vision through email is extremely difficult and would have been quite lengthy. The back and forth that we experienced in email, was too excessive, something that a simple phone call would have remedied. That, and the fact that you and your bride were communicating different messages, so for clarity, I wanted to hear your vision. To have an elegant cocktail party would have been a disaster with only one server butlering, nothing on display, and no dinner to follow. There is no way one server could have butlered the 420 hot hors d'oeuvres in a timely manner and the fact that this was all you were serving was also why I suggested adding at least a pasta dish. Which I was going to make into an action station for you. Not pushing an agenda. I have a responsibility to serve alcohol safely. My agenda is only to make you look good, and Mastoris, as well as give you and your guests a pleasant experience. Trying to have one butler run back and forth to a kitchen 21 times up a staircase during a 3 hour party is an impossibility. You would have never received the 420 hors d'oeuvres for which you paid, your guest would be hungry and getting intoxicated. That's why I suggested adding at least one chafer of food to satisfy hungry guests. This is not pushing agenda this is common sense, and safe service. You cannot expect to have an unattended open bar and no food to go around. Liability reasons prohibit this. Trying to make a safe party is not pushing agenda. To to do your party correctly, we needed extra service staff, at least 2 butlers, a chef and a maitre d to set everything up and manage the event at that venue.. Your expectation of having 1 server and 1 chef to set a wedding including tables, chairs, linens, an action station and then cook fresh hot hors d'oeuvres is unrealistic, which I tried to explain. You first contacted us on May 8th when I communicated with your bride. Then not again until May 14th did I get a response, and it was May 21st when you finally agreed to give us your number. With a short planning period I thought you would appreciate hearing from me directly. Again, I am sorry you are rushed to plan a wedding, and sorry our quote came in over your budget. I wish you well.
