Timely, personable, dependable

I cannot thank Kevin from QC Photo Booth enough for providing photos we will cherish forever. There was not a single moment where the photo booth was not being used. We received so many compliments at how friendly and personable Kevin was. He was responsible, professional, and I would recommend him for any event. We even received our digital copies of the photos - the next day! Thanks Kevin for making our day so special!

Wedding DJ - A+!

Tim DJ'd our wedding in October and did an awesome job! He was friendly, professional, kept the crowd dancing with the best songs and the photo booth pictures we got were so cute! They were a good price as well, I would highly recommend!!

Great music and photo booth

Everyone had a great time dancing to many types of music including Brazilian. We also loved the photo booth and all of the photos we received after the wedding reception. Master entertainment does a great job.

Kevin is the bomb. Com!

Whew ...the way he and his crew delivered is still beyond the bride/groom/my expectations! He was very professional and surpassed all ideas presented! His level of dedication to making their vision flourish and even accommodating my minor tweaks was STUPENDOUS! He quickly worked out plans A, B, and C if needed to ensure the couple's day was OUSTANDING!

I really don’t think THANK YOU is enough for the job done. I would highly recommend him for any event. Confident, Knowledgeable, Prompt, Affordable, Professional, Delivered all PROMISED are a few words that come to mind when I think back on the event (which was in April 2019) .... Kev will definitely come thru for you!

Fantastic work!

Kevin & his staff are top notch. He made the trip from the QC to Cedar Rapids and worked with my wife and I to make sure every detail of our reception was exactly what we wanted. I would absolutely recommend them for any event!

Made our reception such a party!

We had an amazing experience! We used both their DJ service and their photo booth. Everything went perfectly! Kevin was our DJ and he was fantastic! People were dancing until the minute we were heading out the doors at the end of the night!

Photo Booth: Classic and Digital

We went all out and rented both a Classic photo booth and the New Digital Photo booth for our wedding. They where a HUGE hit. Everyone loved both styles. For a younger crowd I definitely recommend the Digital photo booth, it is super simple. All you had to do was type in your phone or email and boom you got the photos automatically onto your phone! Which makes it a lot easier to post to social media! Kevin made it super easy to communicate back and forth, he was very responsive to any of our questions! We received all the pictures from both photo booths, they turned out perfect. The attendant for the photo booths was AWESOME! He made everyone feel comfortable and if there were any questions or problems he took care of it right away! I would recommend the photo booths or any services they have!!

Dancing the Night Away

I highly recommend Master Entertainment for your event needs! We had them DJ our wedding and they were easy to work with and the music selections were highly complimented by my guests. They take your taste into account and do very professional work (which is important to me!). Overall, a great experience!

Photo booth was a huge hit. Attendant was punctual, professional, and friendly. Equipment was nice. Overall great experience. We also had a 50% discount from attending a bridal show at the Tax Slayer Center. At every wedding I've ever been to which had a photo booth, including my own, the photo booth was a hit. QC Photo Booth is a great option - check them out already!

We used master entertainment for their photo booth services and I would recommend them over and over again! Kevin, the owner, was super responsive and helpful when coordinating times to set up, even when I gave him the wrong day he remained understanding and has great customer service. The attendant at the booth worked well with all of our guests too. One of my favorite things is you get digital copies of each of the photos for your own keeping.

I booked a photo booth and was able to customize which booth I wanted, what I wanted my photo strip to look like and how I wanted them to be printed or saved to a USB. They provided great insight help!

Kevin and his staff are truly amazing. When I first met Kevin, I was in the process of interviewing other photo booth professionals to find the best one. Once I met him, I knew my search was over. Kevin is very down to earth and respectful to my wants and needs as a bride. After the first meeting with Kevin I booked him for my DJ and photo booth, as well as a selfie station! If you are wanting a photo booth and don't have the room for a traditional booth, or just looking for something different, the selfie station is the way to go. The selfie station is small and compact, sleek and very affordable. You and your guests take photos like a normal photo booth, but instead of getting the photo strip you get a text or email version of your photos. It's genus! If your looking for a dj or photo booth, Kevin is your guy! He's amazing and will help you and your guests have a fantastic time!

Master Entertainment was such a great company to work with. We used their DJ, photo booth and selfie station services and were extremely happy with all of them! Kevin was great to work with when planning the event and the DJ and photo booth attendant were both very helpful and easy to work with. They played great music and dealt great with our crazy wedding. Kevin with Master Entertainment was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding reception. Our DJ was Kevin who was great to work with the entire time. He always had a quick response to our emails (we were still finalizing songs the week of the wedding) thoughout the planning process. He was very professional during our reception. I wanted to hire a DJ that would play the music we enjoyed and was there to help do introductions, keep the night on schedule, etc. My vision for our wedding was to not have a DJ that spoke too excessively or loudly with the microphone. Kevin did a great job with my vision and helped facillitate the evening helping us and our families be in the spotlight and "not steal the show". His equipment was all working (lights and sound) and the evening went very smoothly. We also had Owen be our videographer. Owen was extremely professional, arrived on time, and on my request- "blended in the background" to capture the important moments (exactly my vision- I wanted a videographer that did not attract attention away from the ceremony or reception). We appreciated all of their hard work and flexibility and listening to our vision as the bride and groom.

I hired Master Entertainment for my wedding and I couldn’t have been happier! Everything from the music to the up lighting was perfect!! During the planning process, they sat down with me and went over every detail to make sure everything was how I wanted it. They put together a slideshow that played throughout the night, which was a very nice touch and the up lighting really transformed the room into a magical place! They truly turned my wedding into an event nobody will be able to forget! I will definitely be hiring them for any future events I have!

We used Quad City photo booth for our wedding which was our guests' favorite part. I was worried that getting a photo booth would take people away from the dance floor, but I was wrong. It was a great addition to our wedding reception and the pictures are fantastic. We also purchased the book for guests to leave a copy of their picture with a message which is a great extra touch. I upgraded the background to a sequin gold background, which matched our room perfect. The photo booth was a lot of fun and the scrapbook is great extra detail.

I would definitely recommend Master Entertainment for any function! They did a wonderful job with our wedding ceremony and reception. Johnathan was fantastic and made us feel at ease through the whole planning process. We knew that everything would be taken care of and it was. He went above and beyond. Master Entertainment has always been professional, courteous, knowledgeable and very helpful in our planning and conducting our Holiday Party. This is not the first time we have chosen them and will not be the last. We have already requested their services for next year. If you want a Party that people keep talking about for a long long time and one that everybody raves about the great time they had-you can't go wrong with Master Entertainment. I like to change things up from year to year and Master Entertainment offers enough of a variety of services that I can go with the same trusted company but give the feel of a whole new and different type of party. Extremely professional service! While the price may be higher than others, the quality and level of detail provided by having a dedicated resource at our disposal was priceless. Johnathan made the planning process fun and easy, so much so that on the day of our event we were not worried in the slightest about things going smoothly.. which they did beyond our expectations! Jordan was fantastic. There wasn't one song played that didn't have the dance floor full. I received many compliments on what a great party it was. Jordan was responsible for keeping the floor full and did just that. Everyone had a great time, many told me that this was one of the most fun receptions they had ever attended.
Jordan was also very helpful with keeping the tempo of the event on track and was very helpful with all aspect of the timing of events throughout the night.

We first booked the Photo Booth with them for the 4th of July sale and it was a hit at our wedding. It was nice because they had an attendant there to make sure guests knew what they were doing and so things were running smoothly. When we noticed they were a DJ service as well we questioned the pricing and searched elsewhere as well to compare. We really enjoyed working with Jonathan and we knew we wanted to make sure we had a great DJ so our night would run seamlessly. Jonathan did an awesome job and kept things rolling. He even threw in some uplighting in our package for us which was a great touch! We would definitely recommend using them for a wedding or special event.

Without a doubt this company deserves a 5 star review. The customer service was over the top professional and personable. We loved working with Justin and Johnathan. As the event got closer, we worked with Johnathan the most and he truly helped achieve our dream wedding reception. We had a beautiful slideshow and a romantic backdrop with up lighting through out the whole ballroom. Johnathan had total control of the reception and made it flow so perfectly. And did I mention our dance floor was full the entire night? It was the best night of our lives and it wouldn't have been the same with out Master Entertainment's help. We can't thank them enough and would refer them to anyone who wants a flawless reception production!

We had a photo booth at my daughter's high school graduation party. The staff was extremely friendly - both during the rental process and the actual set-up. There was a slight problem with the display screen which was quickly addressed and corrected - nothing was delayed. I would highly recommend this service to anyone looking for a unique experience! Everyone really enjoyed it and it made for some very nice keepsakes! Thank you!

I used Master DJ for a photo booth rental on our wedding day. I met with them before the event where they showed us the photo booth and let us take a picture to see what it entailed. Not only is this company extremely organized, but they are also very professional when it comes to responsiveness. Wedding days are so stressful and Justin Miller and his team were very accommodating. They let me customize the photo template to my liking and theme. The photo booth was a huge hit at the wedding, our customized photo template, and photo book made it special.

The photobooth at our wedding was a hit! All the guests really enjoyed getting in the booth and taking silly pictures! My husband I decided to get the scrapbook and I am so glad that I did! We are now able to flip though it and see everyone's funny pictures and comments! The staff was very professional and helpful throughout the entire process! I would recommend this service to anyone who is getting married!

Master DJ & Visual Effects provided DJ services for our recent wedding reception. From the initial consultation to the date of our wedding, Justin and Johnathan Condit (our DJ) were always available for questions and responded quickly.

Even when we arrived to the reception earlier than planned (due to some rain), Johnathan offered to adjust our event timeline, and communicated the changes to the caterer, venue manager, and photographer!! Johnathan just wanted us to be happy on our day, and made that happen! He did a great job coordinating everything, and he kept people dancing the entire night, too!!

The rental of the photo booth was one of the best decisions that was made for our wedding! At first I was kind of sceptical about the idea, but everyone loved it! People that normally quiet and professional, they came out of their shell and had a great time! Everyone got a copy of their photos as a wedding favor, it was awesome! Johnathan was very helpful, he helped get our guest in to the booth and with selected props! If you are looking for fun interaction with your guests, definetly get the photo booth! I promise you will not regret it and you will have memories that last a life time!

Choosing to go with Master Entertainment was one of the best choices that my wife and I could have made for our wedding day. They were extraordinarily accomodating, extremely professional, and their music selection was fantastic. Everything was flawless, from the grand entrance all the way to the end of the night. Johnathan, the DJ, was prepared for any situation, even if we had to change the schedule around at the last minute, he made us feel like it was no big deal and that the "show" would go on without any hiccups, regardless, and it did. If you need DJ service and/or a photobooth for a wedding or any other event, these are your guys. You would be doing yourself a disservice by hiring anyone else!

I can not say enough good things about this company. They provided our Photo Booth for our wedding and we could not have been more pleased! I had wanted to get our DJ Service through them as well but I waited too long and they were booked. We were only able to have the Photo Booth because this fantastic company offered us a payment plan. This is by far the best thing any body in the wedding business could do! All our guests talked about was the Photo Booth!! The quality of the pictures and photo strips, was fantastic. The attendant working our photo booth was the best! He didn't even look old enough to have a job but he was fantastic! He came right up to me during the reception and introduced himself and let me know he had the booth completely set up and ready to go, and that we would be there all night if I needed anything! The poor guy had his leg in a cast and stood and worked the Photo Booth ALL NIGHT. I can't tell you how many times I offered him a chair, he wouldn't take it! He was dancing with the people in line for the Photo Booth and having just as much fun as our guests, it was fantastic! We were provided the flash drive with all the pictures at the reception( no waiting! ) and it was so much fun to go through and see all the pictures everyone took!! We also loved the fact that we were able to completely design our layout for the photobooth strips! It was easy to do and we loved the fact that we could just upload whatever image we wanted! It was nice to tie in our photo booth design to all our other wedding stuff! From Day of Booking to the day we made our last payment, I was 100% impressed with this company!! Of all my vendors for my wedding, they were above and beyond the best vendor! I have already referred 2 of my friends to this company and I will continue to do so!! If I ever have a need for any of the services they provide they will be my first phone call. I could go on and on and on!! Thank You so much for everything!!!

Everything during the planning stages went smoothly, and we had no complaints. Our DJ provided excellent day of services and the music was just as we wanted it to be. We chose Master DJ for our wedding and could not be more pleased! They spent the night before the event decorating the ballroom and it was lit up SO beautifully with lights, a starry sky, and celestial lights on the walls that matched our theme perfectly. Master DJ went above and beyond our expectations for a DJ service. They catered our music and events to our specifications. Their online tool is perfect for creating the reception that we wanted. Our DJ was enthusiastic and kept the events moving so that we didn't have to. We also used their photobooth service. The photos looked great, which they compiled into a book for us full of great memories! The photobooth attendant also helped clean up which was outside his responsibility. That's just a great example of how they exceeded our expectations.

Master DJ & Visual Effects Inc. produced our daughter and son-in-law's wedding reception. I say produced because they provided so much more than the music. Justin and his team assisted us from the planning to the execution of not only a wedding celebration, but a reception that morphed into a grand New Year's Eve party with awesome lights hung from the ceiling, beautiful up lighting and even a video production. Master DJ went above and beyond what I imagined any DJ would do for my wedding. We heard they were the best in town so I was expecting them to be good, but they did so much more than I was expecting. He was the first to set up of our vendors on that day and was so prepared. He thought of things I never would have. He even helped transport stuff from the ceremony to reception that was definitely not his responsibility. I think he even ran and got more ice for us when we ran out! They were so attentive leading up to the wedding and made sure we were prepared and completely satisfied with their service. I was skeptical about paying that much for a DJ at first, but we got the basic package and it was SO worth the price. We paid a lot for the catering and were so disappointed but with master DJ we got more than what we paid for. Thanks Master DJ!

Besides becoming Mr and Mrs, my husband and my favorite part of our wedding day was when everybody got to let loose and have fun on the dance floor. I think we had a longer than average reception and Master DJ kept the party running smoothly and kept the dance floor packed until we got kicked out! I felt that the Master DJ was very easy going and made the night go very smoothly. Also was dressed nicely, very friendly, and most of all played whatever songs we wanted to hear. Decided last minute to get a DJ....Kevin was super accommodating and able to book us last minute (it was a December wedding...kind of off season). Did a great job night of - responsive to the crowd and kept people dancing. :)

My only complaint is I didn't hear one song I specifically requested. Then again, I could have been off the dance floor when he played it.

Master DJ was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. They were the most professional dj service we met with. We had a pre-wedding meeting where we went over the entire timeline and told us they would take care of everything at the reception. They were even receptive to special requests I had made to surprise my wife. The lighting they can supply is amazing and the starlight is well worth the extra money. They are on the more expensive side for djs in the area, but you get what you pay for! We had so many comments about our dj and have since recommended him twice! If you want a dj who will run your reception and play music to keep the party going then Master Dj is the one for you!

The Photo Booth was a great addition to the wedding. They were well organized and very responsive to questions about pricing, availability, and set-up. The one downside was the size and quality of the booth itself. It was very small and we could not get anymore then 4 people into a picture. Master DJ gives a great presentation, and are really good about sending mass mailers out. We paid for the premium package, which is supposed to include unlimted planning, however I cannot say we got that. Our first meeting with the DJ was two weeks before the wedding. During the reception I had to ask him to play my "must play" songs..which were great, but were then usually followed up by a song that brought the energy of the party down... I really didn't want to micro manage the DJ, but it some cases I wish I would have.

I will say one thing that was awesome, was the rear projector and big screen we rented from them. That played an integral role in our reception.

Overall I would still recommend this company, however, I would probably save $800 and not upgrade.

We had a photobooth at our wedding. Prior to the wedding, they were very good at contacting me to chose the templates and photo layout, and confirmed times. Unfortunately our booth had some technical issues. The attendant was a new employee and although he did call to try to fix the booth, it never worked properly. I did call during the wedding, but was unable to talk to anyone. They did return my call, but a little later, but I was on the dance floor. The photobooth was not working properly from the time the attendant started, and I did ask if a functioning photobooth could be brought out. I was told all of the booths were already booked. I received a card apologizing and was returned the check I wrote for the mileage to my venue ($45), and a phone call while I was on my honeymoon. People still were able to get their photos, but unable to see themselves on the display and would not get a warning when to be ready for the picture. Larger groups wouldn't know who fit in the shot until after it was printed, and lots of the pics looked like people weren't ready. They did contact me to apologize, the attendant was apologetic, and did return a very small portion of my fee. I did not pursue a refund, even though I think the company should have refunded me at least half of my fee. I had some health issues prior to the wedding that I had to get treatment for as soon as I returned from our honeymoon. Maybe when checking on your photobooth, ask what the vendor will do in case of a malfunction.

This review is long overdue! Johnathan was friendly enough. But I thought the unnecessary touches like a monthly newsletter and chocolate cookies were not needed. I would like to have seen more be put into the actual Wedding day! I thought the uplighting was gorgeous and loved the sound from the Bose speakers. But over all the actual implementation of music was not executed well. We ended the night with New York, New York was fine but should have been discussed in the meetings. Details are key for every moment when we are paying that much. And they ended up playing country which we told them NO even if guests ask for it. We would have gone with someone cheaper but wanted the Bose Speakers and uplighting they provided. Next time I will do more research!
