Amazing Experience

Master Chef was amazing! We had a 200 person buffet and everyone keep coming to me to tell me how great it was (even coming back for seconds! Michael was extremely professional, accommodating, and a pleasure to work with. I am so happy I chose them!

Amazing food!

We are so grateful to Michael at Master Chef Catering for the incredible food he prepared for my daughter’s wedding. The presentation was stunning, and the flavors were even better—everything was absolutely delicious. From the appetizers to the main course, every detail was perfect. Our guests are still raving about the food. If you are looking further a catering company, this is the guy!

Perfect food for a Perfect evening

wedding for 150, food was fresh, and very tasty. Everyone bragged about the appetizers and dinner! Ahi tuna crisp and thai meatballs for appetizers. we had the pork loin and beef burgundy with garlic mashed potatoes and green beans with a spring salad. their balsamic dressing was some of the best i’ve ever tasted ! Staff was very accommodating even helped look for a child hiding under a table LOL. They made a to go plate for the bride and groom. Just an overall excellent experience. Will definitely use them again. Highly recommend! wedding for 150, food was fresh, and very tasty. Everyone bragged about the appetizers and dinner! Michael & Master Chef Catering are simply chef's kiss! Michael is a wonderfully kind and patient person. He is also extremely creative; we had a Disney-themed Wedding, and he made plenty of suggestions to incorporate Disney elements to our menu. But he is not just an idea man, he also executes flawlessly and flavorfully. Would highly recommend!

Excellent Servoce

For our daughter’s wedding at the Falls event venue in Waller, TX, we had arranged Masterchef catering to provide appetizers for 150 plus guests Michael Corey, the owner, is very responsive and highly professional. He responded to all my questions on time and provided the quote promptly and made changes at my request immediately. He and his staff arrived promptly and was ready to serve the appetizers on time. They set up a beautiful fruit and cheese display. We had 4 hot appetizers to be served during the cocktail hour and Michael and staff made sure that each guest was presented with the appetizers multiple times. His staff worked in passing the trays relentlessly during the cocktail hour. It was an excellent service and I recommend Masterchef without any reservations. Thank you Michael for your service.

Delicious food and great service

Nothing but kudos. We did a buffet with roasted salmon, hunters pork, and roast beef carving station. The guests love the food. Just want to recommend providing steak knives. Otherwise, our stomachs were happy and full.

5 Stars ⭐️ All Around

Wow is all I have to say. Master Chef catering knocked it out of the park for our wedding! He was highly recommended by our wedding photographer so we decided to book him before doing any tastings. When the tasting came around, we struggled to nail down our final menu because everything we tried was that delicious. The day of our wedding, Michael and his team did an amazing job. Our guests were well fed and happy, even going back for seconds and thirds (highly recommend the Cajun Alfredo pasta). We can’t thank the team at Master Chef enough for helping make our special day!

Wonderful!

Michael and his team at Master Chef did an amazing job for our wedding catering at the Gallery! He was so flexible with all things including the menu, us making our final selections, and all things COVID. He did a wonderful tasting for us and made some amazing suggestions. Many of our guests complimented us on the food (specifically the mac and cheese that we had) which is always a great feeling and a testament to his work. Thank you Michael for providing so many great options at an AFFORDABLE rate. You really get so much for what you pay for. I highly recommend checking out Master Chef for your catering needs!

Excellent food, price and service!

Michael with Master Chef Catering was a delight to work with during the stress of planning a wedding. I really liked his fixed price menus which offered many great food choices. I knew exactly what the food would cost, he was very flexible and there were no surprises. I highly recommend Master Chef Catering!

MasterChef was truly amazing! I had to change my date due to a venue change and he was so accomodating. Michael is a great communicator! I requested a lot of custom pieces on my menu and he always had ideas and answers. The food is something that I think is really important at your wedding and everyone commented how delicious the food was!! My husband loved the salmon and my dress was so tight I couldn't really eat everything, LOL, but I ate the rest at home and it was sooooo good. Everything was reasonably priced and I didn't have to worry about a thing as far as service and everyone's satisfaction. The staff was also very attentive and courteous. Couldn't have asked for a better caterer! THANK YOU!!

We are still a few months away from our wedding and I will be excited to review Master Chef Catering again at that point. In the meantime, our initial meeting was great. A table was set up for our arrival and, as we are having a plated dinner, the food was served as it will look at our wedding. We had went to several tastings and had returned to one company multiples times. However, once we met with the owner here we booked on the spot and are very excited about our decision.

Yes. Go with Master Chef. Michael was so great through the whole process. He is like a one stop shop! He catered our event, his staff flipped tables, he provided bar services (even made sure my husband and I had our own special drinks prepared), provided linens, and really helped us work within our budget. Everyone that I talked to raved about the food and went back for seconds. It was DELICIOUS. So, Yes! GO WITH MASTER CHEF!!!

Michael, the owner, was very easy to work with. He was very quick to respond to emails, and was very helpful in answering any and all questions I had... and I had a lot haha. They provided catering, waitstaff, flatware, water glasses, plates, napkins, coffee station, and cake cutting services for us and we have absolutely no complaints! The food was delicious, and the service on the day of the wedding was great. The staff was all super friendly and helpful, and most importantly, they were super friendly to all of the guests. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a high quality catering company at a really reasonable price.

Chef Michael and his staff were amazing! The food was to die for! Chef Michael made a custom menu for our wedding. We had a vision to give our guests a dining experience with different stations and they executed it flawlessly and our guests LOVED it. The wait staff was so helpful, they made our (bride & groom) plates and also made us a plate to go. Our glasses were never empty, our guests had nothing but amazing things to say about the food. Chef Michael and his staff were fun, friendly, and very attentive. Thank y'all very much!

Michael Carey of Master Chef is a man of his word. He made our son's wedding dinner the highlight of the reception. His ability to listen and meet our request was amazing. He delivered an excellent meal at an excellent price per guest - rarely do you get both!!
He was honest, professional, available, timely, friendly, hard-working, helpful,... and the list goes on. The quality, quantity and taste of the food was awesome.
If you are interviewing other caterers for your event, I would recommend you meet with Micheal before you make your final selection. However, if you meet with him first, he is where you can stop the interviewing process - he's the best!!

I have nothing but great things to say about Michael and his staff. The food tasted just like it did during the tasting and plus I received so many compliments from our guests regarding how wonderful the food tasted and how professional you guys were. I will say that you were a life saver also Michael. My now husband asked him if they had ice to that we could use to begin cooling the beer and wine being that our bartenders were late. He saw that he was trying to fill a container with the ice and beer and he stopped him and said that he would take care of it because he had his wedding to attend to. Thank you so much for offering to help him without us even asking. Also, since our bartenders didn't offer the service of handing out the champagne glasses around, our guests were going to have to go up to the bar and get their own glasses for the toasts. We offered to give him a case of wine if they would serve them to our guests and he declined the wine and said "We are here to serve you" and they served the glasses around without hesitation. I am most thankful to you and your staff for making our wedding go smoothly. Thank you!!!!!!!

Michael is awesome and so talented! We knew we wanted Master Chef Catering to cater our wedding as soon as we met Michael and tasted his delicious food! Michael made us feel comfortable in our first meeting with him. He really listened to what we wanted, and we could tell he really cared. My husband is Scottish, and we wanted to incorporate some Scottish food into our wedding menu. Michael researched this and created a fabulous appetizer and dessert for us! We received so many compliments about how good the food was! We would highly recommend Michael and his team! They're wonderful to work with (and reasonably priced too!)! Thank you, Michael!!

Michael and his staff were awesome! I couldn't have been happier with their food, presentation, and service. I am a planner and have tasted a lot of industry food and this was the first time that the food at the event tasted just as good as the food that we tried at the tasting. I couldn't be more pleased!! Michael is the bomb.com! From keeping me sane throughout the planning process to going the extra mile on wedding day, he was fantastic! He even provided rosemary and helped fold napkins because at the last minute I decided I liked some idea on pinterest! Talk about dedication :)

We were very lucky to find one of the best caterers in the business. Michael Carey made our experience personable from the very first phone conversation. Pleasing a party of 14 ladies can get to be a handful, although we were all enlightened by the food and the experience. He made our Christmas party a dinner to remember.

Master Chef went above and beyond in every way! The food, presentation, servers, and responsiveness were all amazing!! They saved the day and made our wedding celebration come together smoothly and elegantly. I would definitely recommend them to everyone and I cannot say enough good things about Chef Michael Carey. He is fantastic, kind, and takes extreme pride in his delicious food as well as how he treats his clients. Everything was beautifully displayed and the staff were so courteous and kind. I’m soooooo happy Michael was recommended to us! He was so helpful, flexible, affordable and most importantly a great chef! Prior to meeting him I had a really hard time finding a great caterer. Many caterers were very costly, had below average tasting food, horrible presentation and the list goes on. Master Chef Caterings food was amazing! It tasted great and we had a good size portion as well. Not to mention we received so many positive reviews from our guest! I definitely give Master Chef Catering a green light!

Best experience! Michael was very professional. I appreciated that he was willing to work with me on a special menu and meet all of my requests. He also brought my husband and I appetizers after the wedding since we werent part of the cockatail hour-we were taking pics, but this way we didnt miss out on the food! Very reasonable on prices compared to other caterers.

I can't give Master Chef catering any less than 5's across the board. Master Chef Catering, catered our wedding with punctuality, excellent service, elegant food display and set up, absolutely delicious food (Peruvian Ceviche one of our favorites!!), professional servers that go above and beyond and Michael showing the best authentic concern to meet everyone one of our needs and requests at our wedding.All ended with a spotless cleanup and asking of any other wishes before leaving. We had compliment after compliment from our guests on the food and service. What more could a bride and groom ask for?? Michael and Master Chef Catering is top notch and we thank you Michael for making the culinary experience at our wedding so perfect!!!! L&B

Michael with masterchef catering was awesome. His professionalism and kindness is above and beyond. He met with us at the actual venue before hand, let us sample dishes, was willing to work with our budget and made sure all our needs were met. The food was delicious and set up flowed well. Could not have been happier!
We looked and talked to caterer after caterer and when we met with Michael we knew we found the right company.
Everyone complimented the food, staff, drinks - it was perfect.

I have nothing but great things to say about Master Chef Catering. They are the best. AWESOME FOOD!! We requested a bbq dinner for our reception. Though not on the menu Micheal Carey made and exception and came up with a menu to meet our needs. BBQ chicken, two kinds of sausage, brisket, cole slaw, potato salad, and a JD bbq sauce that was phenomenal WOW! We were amazed. Everything tasted great! And the caterers were so very friendly! They brought extra tables for us so we could set up the appetizers, helped us out with balloons. They really went above and beyond what we expected. We will definitely recommend Master Chef Catering to all our friends.

MasterChef catering did a wonderful job in creating the most delicious meal for our daughter's wedding. I didn't know if the food would be hot because the reception site had no kitchen but MasterChef really outdid themselves. The food was not only hot but delicious. I highly recommend their roast beef and ceasar salad - delicious!!. We had a cocktail hour of shrimp, assorted cheeses and fruit and every raved about the appetizers. We were not able to make an open house but MasterChef worked with our schedule so that we could taste the food before the big day. I would highly recommend them.

Master Chef catered our wedding reception, and everything was wonderful. Chef Michael worked with us to design a terrific variety of appetizers and a Mediterranean menu, and made everything very easy for us. The feedback we received was fantastic, even our pickiest 'foodie' friends were impressed. The service was top notch, and all for a terrific value.

So as every parent, my daughter was finally graduating high school and trying to find a caterer for the grad party was extremely stressful. Luckily I happened to come upon Master Chef Catering, IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A CATERER STOP! THIS IS THE ONE TO GO TO. Chef Michael was extremely professional and attentive to every detail and every aspect dealing with the food, presentation and taste. He is a true artist and obviously loves what he does. It shows in the food. The food was by far the best catering we've ever had and if you need extra help look into the waitresses. They were amazing! Without Master Chef Catering our party wouldn't have been as successful as it was. The guests were raving nonstop during dinner. In conclusion I hope you take Master Chef Catering in serious consideration to host any event of yours. Trust me you won't be disappointed!

Everything we could imagine for food to be something so special on such a special night. He worked with us throughout the planning stages to create our perfect menu. My husband is picky and allergic to many foods, but michael catered to our every needs! He was even flexible on the wedding day, he was able to accomodate our needs on the spot to the best he could, and i would definitely say he delivered. People are still talking about how great the food was. It has such a cooked just for you straight from your moms kitchen taste! very comforting and classy! overall a great experience

I am the mother of the bride and the wedding planner. I really enjoyed the opportunity to work with Chef Michael of Master Chef. He was very prompt, friendly, flexible, and willing to share tips so that we can get the most for our dollars. The food was great. He exceeded my expectations for catering. The menu got top marks from the grandfather of the bride who was a sous chef at the famous Shamrock Hilton Hotel. I took off small points since I had to change the linen service the week of the wedding in order to have linen at the venue on time. I highly recommend Master Chef.

Master Chef Catering was absolutely wonderful! They catered to our budget, our taste, and our style of event. We loved getting a trial dinner and felt comfortable with letting Chef Michael fill in the gaps in our menu. Many guests at our wedding commented on the delicious and fresh food. Go hire them, now! Seriously, Chef Michael was awesome through every step of the process. He worked with special dietary needs, took care of the bar needs and also provided cake cutting services. It was so nice to have one team doing the food and the bar, so there was never a line at the bar or dirty dishes anywhere since the team worked so seamlessly to make the event perfect. And I forgot to mention, the food was amazing! We are still getting compliments on how tasty everything was. Toward the end of the night, Chef Michael even switched over and worked the bar. Prices were beyond reasonable, and we can't think him and his team enough. Definitely recommend!

The food is incredible!!!!! My husband and I have had tons of guests ask for Michael's recipes since the wedding and so many have said it was by far the best "wedding food" they have ever had! From the time Michael came to our home and personally prepared several selections for our tasting before we had ever even booked him, we have been impressed with his presentation and professionalism. During the wedding, he was super attentive to me especially, making sure that I was pleased with the flow of everything. He was flexible with a few last minute changes and he exectured everything beautifully. I would absolutely recommend him to my friends who hopefully will tie the knot in the future as well!

Overall the food was good and service was handled. I felt like the servers sent to handle our event didn't quite know what was going on. Michael did an excellent job on everything he handled directly. Even though we paid for a few people more than actually showed, we still ran out of food. A few of our guests said they saw more food in the prep kitchen at the venue---but when we asked about it we were told the dishes were empty. It was odd.
