Ideal venue!

We began planning our MASS MoCA wedding ceremony in 2019, before the pandemic hit. When we decided to postpone our wedding — which was originally scheduled for 2020 — due to COVID, Chris helped us navigate the rescheduling process with patience, empathy, and thoughtfulness. As we debated different dates and potential locations within the museum, Chris took time and care to meet with us and our vendors and offered us various options based on our specific wants and considerations. We were eventually able to hold a beautiful (and safe!) ceremony at MASS MoCA in no small part thanks to Chris's expertise, coordination, and coordination. Our guests described our ceremony in the Spencer Finch gallery as "magical" and "unique," and we agree with that assessment! We cannot recommend Chris and MASS MoCA more highly.

Excellent and Magical

We absolutely loved working with Chris for our small ceremony. He was fantastic throughout, answered every question, and was there for all our needs. It made for a very special evening!! Would highly recommend.

Have you wedding at MASS MoCA!!!

Having our wedding at MASS MoCA was so special. The museum is such a beautiful and unique backdrop for a wedding. The grounds outside and the galleries provide such interesting spaces for photos and the event spaces are a great place to bring your friends and family from far and wide together. Working with Chris was such a pleasure as well - he was so communicative and fun to work with and really helped make our vision come to life. We can't recommend MASS MoCA as a venue for your wedding enough!

Stellar experience

Beautiful venue, and Chris, the event coordinator, was an absolute pleasure to work with. Beyond coordinating, Chris helped arrange lights in a manner that made our colors and dinner setting really pop. Chris is a real professional and it shows through his ability to effectively collaborate with our multiple vendors, many of whom he worked with many times in the past (Mezze for catering, Wendy Hybl Fannin for florals, both of whom are fantastic). We’re extremely grateful to have worked with him. And, of course, the museum seething was a dream.

Beautiful venue, and Chris, the event coordinator, was an absolute pleasure to work with. Picture Perfect Wedding at MASS MoCA

We held our wedding at MASS MoCA in October of 2023 and cannot recommend the venue enough. The spaces are all breathtakingly beautiful, and Chris is a super responsive, professional, and knowledgable special events coordinator. Chris went above and beyond to make sure our day went off without a hitch, working extra hard when our day of coordination fell through. Our guests (as well as the the bride and groom) were blown away with how beautiful the space was and how special the whole day felt. Cannot recommend enough!
