I found the dress after trying just 3 on

Mary's was the second bridal shop I had been to looking for a wedding dress. The first shop I went to more so to get an idea of what I wanted and not so much to purchase the dress. So when I went to Mary's I had an idea of what I wanted and a smaller idea of what I definitely didn't want as well. Mary (the shops owner) sat down with me and went over everything-asking a lot of questions to try and help me find the right style, color and length. She pulled 2 dresses that just didn't feel like me, which lead her to find the third dress. The first two dresses felt like I was playing dress up, and as special as my wedding day was-I still wanted to feel like me. I was a bit frustrated at first because I wasn't sure she was understanding what I wanted and why I wanted it. So the third dress, was not as heavy as the first two. It was this beautiful lace form fitting dress with an open back and the best part about it was it felt like me. I didn't feel like I did in the other two dresses.

This dress was one of Mary's personal designs. She took what felt like over a million measurements and pictures of me in the dress, but it all was worth it because I had my very own special, customized dress to fit my body. I then had 3 more fittings before my wedding which on the first one, some minor adjustments had to be made. On the second they did the bustle wrong and it had to be redone before my 3rd and final fitting. When my final fitting came, I didn't want to take the dress off! It was perfect. The day of my wedding my husband loved the dress and it fit perfectly with our venue location and feel of the "beachy" wedding.

If you want to feel like just a more glam version of yourself and have someone take into account every detail for you-I recommend visiting Mary's.

A truly personal experience

I honestly had no clue what I wanted in a wedding dress and Mary helped me figure that out in the simplest of ways. She just talked to me about what I wanted my wedding to be like and asked me what I wanted to show off on my body with my dress and ka-bamb! Dress number 1 was ultimately my decision! The seamstress made every change I requested and really made my dress one of a kind, I could not have been happier!

I really love my dress. Granted there are mixed reviews about Marry, but the work speaks for its self. Mary in my eyes, was very nice and knowledgeable about styles, material and all things wedding dress. Her team is top rate and can do whatever alterations you need. They are very pricey, but they stand behind their work. If your looking for an amazing dress, or an one of a kind dress, Mary's is it! I didn't want a lot of hand holding and to be bff's with ladies at the shop, I wanted a great quality dress that would be a show stopper, and thats what I got.

I am so happy i bought my dress here. My wedding consultant, Natasha, was so informative and found me the best dress. Bianca was the seamstress and IS THE BEST!!! My dress was affordable and the back of the dress was stunning. I went to some of the boutiques around DC and nothing compares to Mary's.

Mary's is great. I had shopped around before coming here and this is where I ended up finding my wedding dress. The people that worked with me throughout the process made it very easy. The alterations were included in the price of my dress and they did a wonderful job to make my dress fit perfectly the day of the wedding. I even brought my own belt sash and they attached it to my dress for me. I would recommend them!

Wonderful owner and staff! My daughter needed a dress for Homecoming and not only did they create a one of a kind dress, they had it ready in under 12hrs. When she tried it on she cried. They made her feel like the most precious person in the shop. And she wasn’t a bride. My four daughters and I will be buying all our special event dresses from there.

I can't say enough about Mary's...I am the Mother of the Groom and walked in after hours 1 month before the wedding in a panic. Mary stayed until midnight finding me the dress of my dreams. It's flattering and comfortable and fits in with the rest of the wedding party...best of all, I feel like a princess when I wear it!

They really know their business. They are professional and patient and were happy to expedite the fittings in order to help me out. They have a huge selection of beautiful dresses, shoes, jewelry and purses...something for everyone. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for the dress of their dreams!!

Mary's Bridal is absolutely amazing! I bought both of my prom dresses from her, so when it was time for my wedding gown she was the first and only shop we looked at. I just bought it last Sunday and I am already counting down the days until my first fitting! She is so kind and wonderful to work with, she really listens to what you want, and she designs beautiful dresses. Also, the staff are very warm and helpful. The wedding dress was pretty much the only thing I had a vision of for the day before I was even engaged, and Mary is making it a reality! She truly made the wedding dress shopping experience for me. My experience today at Mary's Designer Bridal Boutique was phenomenal! I was torn between two styles of wedding dresses and Mary guided me through both options. Not only did she show me both styles but she basically custom assembled each style of dress to show and flatter my personal shape and style preferences. She was very meticulous and listened very well throughout the entire process. It felt so comforting to have an expert like Mary advise me through the whole appointment. I felt like I was her top priority and she gave me all the time I needed. Mary stayed well after hours with my mom and I for our final decision...I said YES TO THE DRESS!!! In the dress, In this dress I feel gorgeous, elegant, sexy but most importantly, I feel like myself! The day I chose my dress was such an exciting day and I couldn't stop smiling about it.

Mary was also incredibly responsive and helpful gave me her cell number to text her for any/all questions I'd have throughout this whole process. I texted her several times over the past 8 months, and she is always very quick to respond and is so sweet and thoughtful. I had three fittings over the course of about three months, and I dealt with Mary's seamstress, Blanca. She was also extremely sweet and really knows her stuff when it comes to fitting a gown to your body perfectly. She was so patient and let my mom and play around with certain elements of the dress to see what looked best. Mary and Blanca took such good care of my dress and veil and it was so much fun to come back each time and see how they were getting my dress closer and closer to perfection. These two women have some of the best hearts around, and are so kind and genuinely concerned with us looking and feeling our best when the "big day" comes. After three fittings, I finally got to take my dress home today, for my wedding that's in about two weeks!! These ladies feel a lot more like family than I ever would have expected. LOVE Mary's Designer Bridal!!! :)

I went to Mary's as the MOH and sister/daughter of two satisfied women who purchased dresses. My sister found her perfect wedding dress at Mary's and my mommy found the perfect mother of the bride dress! They left feeling flawless and ready for my sister's big day! Every time we are greeted with a hug and warmness from Mary and her team and they make us all feel like queens!

Honestly, I was told NOT to go to Mary's because so and so's friend said it was terrible. They were wrong, it was awesome. First of all, I went alone because I was really frustrated trying to find a dress. Natasha helped me and she was so patient. She found a dress she thought would look great even though I thought it wouldn't and asked me to try it on. It was beautiful and she was right. The seamstresses there can do ANYTHING. Even three days before the wedding the seamstress was able to take it in two inches down each side of the dress. I think the reason the reviews are sometimes bad is because Mary, the designer, is very blunt. I think its just how she sounds because she really does love her work. I was so happy with the fit and style of my dress and my entire experience at Mary's.

Mary's is the best Bridal boutique I have ever been in! Marys bridal boutique is the best in the business. The staff are all extremely knowledgeable and friendly. I went to my appointment with my mother, future mother-in-law, and best friend; they made me feel like the most important and beautiful bride they had ever seen. It was like they had known me for years and they were shopping with a girlfriend. The selection in the store was fantastic they had all different shapes and sizes available and they also offer custom designs and alterations. I'm so impressed with everyone that works there- they really go way out of their way to help you in any way possible. I will be sending everyone I know to Marys!

The staff at Mary's Bridal went above and beyond when it came to helping me with my wedding dress. I originally purchased the dress in 2010 but ended up not getting married. They preserved the dress for me without any questions, and when I got engaged again in 2015, they helped make sure the dress still fit and provided alterations. My experience at Mary's Designer Bridal Boutique was A+. Mary is the best in the business. After asking me specific and particular questions she was able to present me with the gown of my dreams in the first attempt. My gown on average was suppose to take 8 to 10 months to complete but Mary had her team do it in 3 months so that I was able to have the scheduled wedding of my dreams. Mary is a fabulous designer with impeccable taste! She designed my dress for the welcome party and my bridal gown! You will not be disappointed in the quality OR experience!!!! Mary is very honest will not lie to you! She wants you to look your very best on your wedding day and she has proven results!!!! You will not be disappointed.
My only regret is that I will not see her smiling face as often I did in 2015 during the fitting and designing process of the gowns. I love Mary and you will too! Blessings to all of the new brides to be!

There are not enough words to express how thankful I am for Mary and Blanca. I had been to 4/5 different Bridal shops before coming to Mary's. Mary picked out 3 dresses and 3rd times the charm was MY DRESS! She was able to take a few ideas I had and bring my dress to life! Blanca who did my alterations, was able to sew in a necklace and cross of my late Mothers to make my dress all the more special to me. I can't thank you ladies enough. This is a very friendly and helpful store filled with experienced people who know their stuff.
From the moment I walked in with my daughter and sister we were treated like family. we had shopped at 4 other bridal stores before we came in and there is no comparison. I had a limited budget to work with and I felt that I was never going to find my dress. Everything was either too expensive or too cheap looking, Not at Mary's, they asked me a lot about my wedding and what I wanted to look like on my day and what my budget was to work with. Then magically Mary, the owner went and found my dress. Just like that. It was so easy. They took the time to get to know me and what I wanted to look like and I was so happy on my wedding day, the dress fit me perfect. Thank you to Marys You are the best.

I had an amazing experience at Mary's Designer Bridal. From the moment we walked in the door we were treated with kindness. This was my first time trying on dresses and I thought that it would be overwhelming for me. But I was pleasantly surprised to meet Mary, the owner who took care of every detail. She sat down with our group, listened to how I envisioned my wedding day and just seemed to understand what I wanted in my dress. She took me to the the biggest dressing room that I have ever seen, showed me the spa robes and slippers ( So soft and cuddly) had me slip into them and then went shopping for me, how cool is that, and came back with the most beautiful dress and I fell in love. My family loved it. Mary suggested that I try on another dress just to be sure and it was beautiful as well but I knew the first one was my dress. On Nov 15th my wedding day everyone was blown away with how I looked. I can't say enough great things about Mary's and the staff. especially Blanca. please check them out you won't be disappointed.

Without a doubt - The Best Bridal Shop!
From the moment my entire family (all 10 of us) walked in for my appointment I knew this was the place for me.
Mary, the owner and my consultant Dorothy talked to us for about 30 minutes getting to know about my wedding and then went shopping for me and came back with 3 dresses. The first dress was the one and on my wedding day I shared the story about how I only tried on 1 dress and it was magic. It was exactly me. I was nervous about the fittings as I knew I was going to lose weight but the seamstresses took extra care in making sure my dress fit perfect. They even shipped the dress after the last fitting to Atlanta for me. I visited lots of bridal shops but they are the best.

Absolutely loved my dress. Everyone at Mary's made me feel like the most important bride in the world. They helped me with everything, even things I hadn't thought of yet.
And Mary really knows what looks good on your body. I came in to the store looking for one style and ended up with something completely different but perfect for me.

Mary's is Amazing. The best wedding experience I could have ask for.
They were professional, caring and very patient with me and my mom.
So easy to work with, and on top of that they went out of their way to make sure my grandmother
could be a part of the shopping experience via Facetime.
They have the largest, most beautiful selection of wedding dresses that we saw thru out our search.
and Mary and Natasha are great. This is the one place to find your dress.
Everyone at my wedding loved my dress, even people just walking by at the afterparty in Jaleo came up to my husband and me and said how fabulous my dress looked. Who could ask for anything more.

What a delightful shop. When we walked in the shop the displays of wedding gowns were amazing, and the jewelry beautiful- real works of art. Dorothy was wonderful and the gowns she picked for me were absolutely beautiful. I was sad that I had to pick just one but I did and it is perfect.
I couldn't be more pleased with the service and knowledgable staff.

Mary's was the first stop on my Saturday appointment schedule of 5 bridal shops and I was late getting there. They couldn't have been more gracious to me and my mom, sitting us down in our own private seating area, talking with me about my wedding and how I saw myself on my wedding day. Mary, the owner and Chelsea my consultant then pulled 3 dresses for me based on what I had told them. When I came out in the first dress, I knew it was The One, But being the cautious bride, I tried on 2 more dresses just to be sure but then came back to My Dress. They then asked the famous
question- Is this your dress and of course I said yes. yes.yes. Then they took photos for my mom and me to keep. It was a Great experience.
Then last Saturday in O.C. Maryland my husband and I exchanged our vows on the beach at sunset and everyone raved about how beautiful I looked in my dress, Most importantly my new husband was overcome with emotion. Mary's Designer Bridal made my wedding day, the day I always dreamed of.

Who could ask for anything more?

Marys bridal was an amazing experience. I walked in without a appointment on Wednesday night
2 weeks ago thinking that I would probably never find a dress. I had been everywhere and tried on hundreds of dresses and nothing was feeling like it was the one. Until I met Mary who sat down and talked to me about my destination wedding in Myrtle Beach. She asked me about what I dreamed my wedding would be like and then proceeded to pull out the perfect dress.
Then she picked out the perfect veil and the most beautiful hair pin. I felt like a princess.
Everything was exactly like I saw it in my head. Then she helped me pick out the matching jewelry.
Oh I almost forgot to say that my wedding was 9 days later. Thank you to mary and marys bridal for making my day everything I always wanted

When I went looking for a dress, I didn't realize how picky I was going to be; however, Mary's had such an amazing selection of gowns to chose from and I was able to find the most perfect wedding dress. The staff at Mary's are all extremely friendly and helpful; I always felt comfortable asking them questions, etc. I wanted a very particular look from my dress, and although I had to go back several times to achieve that look, the staff at Mary's including Mary herself were very patient with me and worked with me to get that exact look. I'm so happy with how my dress turned out; it truly was the most gorgeous wedding dress I've ever seen and I was fortunate enough to be in it! I fell in love with my dress as soon as I saw it. I had the pleasure of working with Mary as my consultant ( The owner) after already being so overwhelmed in not being able to find the wedding dress that I always dreamed of, I was ready to call it quits. Im originally from Maryland so I was in town visiting my mother and she insisted we visit Mary's Bridal. Mary made it seem so easy she asked how do I picture my self on my wedding day and that was it she pulled 3 dresses and I fell in love with them all but one was the dress !!! My husband and I have decided to renew our vows in August of 2014. I called Mary's Boutique and scheduled an appointment.
I must say that my experience this time in comparison to 17 years ago, was night and day. When I arrived at the boutique I was greeted by Mary's friendly and patient staff. We then went to a comfortable and quite area to talk about my expectations for my gown. I filled out a quick contract, address, dress size, number of guests, bridesmaids and groomsmen, etc.
Then the fun began! I will say that things did not turn out as I expected. In my mind when I walked thru Mary's door I knew what my dress looked like. I am a tall woman 5'9 1/2 I would say average weight 150 lbs, would love to loose 10 lbs, but hey we all have our issues. Mary and her assistant pulled the dresses that I described, and they were beautiful and had a bit of bling or sparkle to them. I loved something about each dress, but not the entire dress. No fault of the designer, it is just that I am short waisted and was not looking at what would flatter my body type. Mary was so kind, she took her time with me and we talked about what I loved about each dress and what made me uncomfortable. Mary then went and pulled a dress for me, one that she felt hit each issue that we had discussed.
When Mary brought the dress into the room, My breath was taken away, I knew this was the one. But then I got so nervous, it was so beautiful, and I felt like it was love at first sight, what it it looked horrible on me. Mary could see that I became a bit anxious, she took the time to talk with me about what I was feeling. She treated me with such professionalism. We put the dress on, and I felt like it was made for me. This was it, we did it, and it is spectacular!
I picked up my dress today, and all alterations were perfect, it fit like a glove. I felt beautiful, and that is thanks to Mary and her stellar staff.
I would recommend calling and scheduling an appointment with them,

Mary at Mary's Bridal was an answer to prayer when my daughter, Jessica, started looking for a wedding gown. Mary took the time to sit with Jessica and find out what vision she had for her own wedding gown. Then, Mary had Jessica try on several designs that Mary thought would best suit Jessica. When Jessica tried on her final choice, she burst in to tears knowing this was the dress for her! And, Mary was so willing to work with Jessica around her busy medical school schedule for all of her fittings. I later returned to the store for my Mother of the Bride dress and was ever grateful that I did. Mary's staff gave me the same personal attention given to my daughter! We had been to a few other wedding dress shops and no where else did we find the professional and personal service with attention to detail like we found from Mary and all her staff at Mary's Bridal! We were blessed by Mary, Natasha, Nikki, Dorothy, Blanca, Jenn and all the rest of the team at Mary's Bridal! I would highly recommend Mary's Bridal if you want to find your mother of the bride and more importantly your daughter's Fairy Tale Wedding Dress! I came to Mary's Bridal with a few unique needs. I am a breast cancer patient and had recently had bilateral mastectomies. Needless to say, I wasn't feeling very good about the way my body looked and Mary reassured me, and told me that I would look more beautiful than I ever looked in my life. I was able to get custom alterations to my dress and no one would ever be able to tell by looking at me in my beautiful dress that I had ever had any "issues" with my body. I looked and felt absolutely BEAUTIFUL!

Mary's was an amazing experience. I went there for my dress and found it on the third try. Her staff listened to every detail I gave them and was completely shocked and started to tear up when i saw myself in the third dress cause I knew it was the one. Mary herself found the perfect veil and jewelry that accentuated the dress without overpowering it. I have referred all my friends and family members to Mary's for their dresses prom or wedding. They all have rave reviews about her and her staff: extremely knowledgeable, friendly, professional, etc. I went to Mary's for my prom dresses way back when and had such an amazing experience then that I knew that this was the store I would find my perfect dress for my wedding.

Mary and the staff at Mary's Designer Bridal Boutique are truly a blessing to me and my family. I lost all hope and faith in having a perfect wedding day due to "the other guy" having to backorder my original dress.... then I found Mary's.... and my dream of a perfect wedding is becoming reality :) On a two week time crunch Mary had me fitted, the dress altered, worked with my very tiny budget, and had surprises for me along the way =) She made this experience one that I will remember and cherish forever. This is a lovely shop tucked away in a very accessible corner of Annapolis. Though the facade may be unassuming, once you enter Mary's you are greeted not only by the warm and kind staff (and often Mary), but also by rows and displays of beautiful gowns. It is a true sensory experience, as most of the dresses are not wedged in racks or cloaked in plastic, but hanging gorgeously out in the open. There is an organic flow to the store, culminating in a long "catwalk" in the back, perfect for admiring your dress from all angles. When I tried on bridesmaid dresses there, I did not feel rushed or pressured. They give you time to admire and fall in love with your dress, which you will! The selection of gowns Mary's offers ranges from designer to custom-made, and I had no trouble at all finding many gorgeous options that encompass my stylistic aim of "classic with a bit of drama." I have been recommending Mary's to all of my brides- and bridesmaids-to-be!

Finding my dress at Mary's was truly a great experience. Jenn and the rest of the staff was very friendly and allowed me to try on as many dresses as I needed (only needed 3) until I found "the one". Blanca is an excellent seamstress and knows exactly what to do to the dress so it fits perfectly and one is comfortable wearing it. There is an excellent variety of styles to choose from and I am glad I chose a dress that flattered me and will look amazing in our wedding album. Thanks to Mary, I looked fabulous on my wedding day. Leading up to the wedding I was concerned about being the center of attention, so I kept delaying trying on dresses. I visited Mary’s in January and our wedding was March 9. The dress Mary helped to select for me gave me the confidence boost I needed to walk down the aisle and to pose for the personal paparazzi throughout the day. Everyone loved the wedding and ceremony but my dress is still getting complements! Mary is the place to go for every bride but it is a must for a bride with “proportions” Mary’s description for a bride with body!

The people that work there are so nice! I tried on 4 dresses (that I picked) and didnt care too much for them. Then my consultant asked if she could pick a few that would nice, I said yes. After getting both my junior and senior year prom dresses at Mary’s, I knew as soon as I was engaged that I would go there for my wedding dress as well. When I first arrived at my appointment, I showed my stylist sample pictures of the dresses that I loved and I explained the vision for my wedding. She told me that she knew exactly what I had in mind, and she absolutely nailed it! I really liked the first two dresses I tried on, but the third dress was “the one”! I couldn’t believe I found a dress that made me cry in just three dresses. She really understood what I was looking for. Mary then pulled bridesmaid dresses for my girls to try. The dresses she pulled were amazing! They looked perfect on the girls (all a variety of height and weight) and they complimented my dress without over powering it. She also helped my mother to find the perfect dress that flattered my mother and looked wonderful alongside the bridesmaids’ dresses and my wedding dress. I’m so excited about my dress and I can’t wait to see it again at my first fitting!

All brides in the DC, Baltimore, Annapolis area look no further for your dress than Mary's Bridal. This was the only store I went to and I only had to try on 4 dresses before finding my gorgeous dress. I went in with a photo of what I wanted and they nailed perfectly what I wanted and how I wanted to look on my wedding day. I truly felt catered to and I never worried about going over my budget or falling in love with a dress I couldn't afford. They never once tried to push on me extra things I already told them I didn't want like a veil or try to change my mind in a different direction. The fitting and alterations process was a breeze! The alterations team nailed my dress the very first time and and delivered on time. I felt so beautiful and amazing on my day and I've had so many people ask me where I got my wedding dress!

Mary's Designer Bridal Boutique was the best experience by far! I called them on Monday night crying & explained to them that I could not fit into the wedding dress I bought a year ago. Mary got on the phone with me, fit me into her busy schedule for Tuesday. When I meet with her seamstress, they put me at ease worked with me & did all they could do to let out the dress, but due to design of the dress there was nothing that could be done. So, Mary & her team went to work. They found out the details of my wedding, where it was going to be held, what my style of dress is, whether I am a romantic bride, classic bride, etc & pulled a few of Mary's own design's based off my prefrences of wedding dresses.They explained what would work best for my body style & what would accentuate my curves, they made me feel at home and comfortable. I did not feel rushed & I did not feel like I was just another sale. They took the time to explain the dresses to me, what worked for my body, what the material was made of, how it was made & most of all made me feel at ease, comfortable & like a person. I finally picked the dress that was made of Celtic Lace, with a built in corset, semi-sweetheart neckline & chapel train, absolutely stunning!!! All hand made and completed in three days, rush job, tailored specifically for me!! I could not believe how beautifully this dress turned out to include the veil and the matching blusher. Mary gave me a great deal on this custom made gown. What would normally be a $4800 for the dress, veil, detachable peticoat cost me $2800 due to a $2000 credit she gave me due to my issue with my dress and helped me out immensely. I would recommend Mary to any woman who is looking for a beautiful, custom made wedding dress.

Where do I begin? I came into Mary’s in need of a dress in only one weeks time, and she immediately assured me she would take care of me and I wouldn't leave her store with out a dress. After wiping away my tears of sadness, waiting for about 3 minutes for Mary to pull the dress she had in mind for me, and being helped into the dress, I found myself wiping away tears of joy!! i didn't even shed tears in my original dress! With my wedding a week away, I will be in my dream dress.

I live in Texas and came into town to see friends. We decided to go dress shopping sincee I wouldnt be back in town for a while. My friend suggested Mary's, she had purchased her daugthers pageant gown there. So I gave it a try. The store was well put together, lovley atmoshpere, and a wonderful area to try on the gown. I was greeted and waited on the whole time. I loved how I was the main focus. I found the "one" with ease. They worked with me on a fitting schedule and Mary and her staff were great. My 2 best friends recommended Mary's Bridal in Annapolis to me
They said that I would find my dress and that the process would be painless
exciting, fun and easy & wouldn't break my budget Well they were so right.
I found my dress, veil and tiara and even my jewelry- it was perfect

Mary's bridal is fantastic. Despite some of the negative reviews here, I had an excellent experience when I went there. When I went to the boutique, I wasn't sure what I wanted. After talking with my consultant, I fell in love with the first dress I tried on. I still have guests from my wedding tell me that my dress was the most beautiful wedding dress they had ever seen. Go there, trust them, and you will look phenomenal!

Mary met with me personally to figure out the perfect dress for me. She was right on with the design and made the gown for me to fit my figure. I was an older bride with a mature body and let me tell you, Mary made me look like I was in my 30's again with a 24 inch waist (although my waistline is much larger!).

I never dreamed that shopping for my wedding gown would come this easy. I have been to many other bridal shops and none compare to Mary's designer boutique. There were hundreds of dresses to choose from. My consultant knew exactly what kind of dress that would fit my taste and my style. She pulled several gowns for me to try on and the first dress I tried on was perfect for me I fell in love. This boutique is very relaxing and I recommend this bridal boutique to any bride who wants to feel like a special bride!

Absolutely breeathtaking is how I and many other's described my wedding dress that I purchased at Mary's. There were so many beautiful dresses that you may feel like it's overwhelming....however, when you try on the perfect dress you will know that your search is over. For me, that was the very first dress I tried on. Mary's was very accomodating with my fittings and even squeezed me in for an extra fitting when I decided to change the length of my shoes. For any bride who truely wants to look and feel beautiful....you will not be disappointed.
Though it's a bit on the high end it is worth every penny....my husband complimented me over and over on my dress as did many others. I was sad to put my dress away but am sure that one of my sister's will be asking me for it in the near future...that's how beautiful it is! To me, the dress was very important because it is the one day that I got to look and feel like a real live princess and I wanted to make sure that I did....You will not be disappointed with one of Mary's dresses.

if you want a place that will make you feel so incrediablly special this is where to go.
They make you the dress of your dreams you dont buy one off a rack.
There are several fittings to attend, but your dress will fit perfectly.

This shop has a large selection of the most beautiful dresses in amazing fabrics. Mary is an experienced pro who selects dresses that will flatter you the most. Seriously, let her work her magic! My daughter had an A+ experience from the first visit through the final fitting and beyond, and stayed within budget. Their alterations are excellent, and they restyled the back of the dress into a V shape which was stunning. Mary is very available and in touch whenever you need her. I highly recommend Mary's. And I can't imagine better or more committed service.

Mary's Designer Bridal Boutique was excellent. They were extremely helpful in my hunt for the perfect dress. I ended up with a dress that I would never have tried on without some encouragement but it was absolutely stunning and I am so happy that I found this gem of a store. I had a great experience at May's Bridal Boutique. Mary and Jenn both helped me find the exact the dream dress I was looking for. Mary knew just what I was looking for and said she had the dress for me. She had me try on 3 dresses that were different styles, saying all along that she was saving the best for last. Needless to say the 4th dress, was my dress. I appreciate them catering to all my needs and made me and my family, friends feel comfortable. Thank you for making this a great experience.

Perfect for a Bride Who Isn't Sure What She Wants!

Mary is a fantastic designer with incredible vision and helped me create the dress of my dreams! She took the time to listen to what I did and didn't want, and then picked out a beautiful selection of dresses. When I wasn't sure if this dress was "the one", Mary encouraged me to take my time, walk around in it, and be sure that it was right for me. The dress that I wanted didn't have straps/sleeves, so she created straps out of matching lace from the dress. She also added buttons on the back and a sparkly belt to the dress to make it just right for me. I also purchased a custom matching veil and shoulder wrap that Mary hand made.

And her seamstress, Ally, is incredibly talented! She made the dress fit like a glove on me. The alterations were included which I liked. She was even able to sew in a piece of my aunt's wedding dress into mine for no additional charge. I loved working with Mary and Ally!

I wore the dress of my dreams!

I cannot thank Mary's enough for finding me my dream dress! I spoke with Mary for about 30-45 minutes on the phone before my appointment, and based on what I told her - when I entered the store, my dream dress was on display in front of me. I ended up ONLY trying on that dress and choosing it! It was absolutely gorgeous. Every fitting was easy and seamless - they were patient and understanding and listened to everything I asked for. My dress fit like a glove on the wedding day and I couldn't be happier with how it turned out. I changed my mind a few times on things and they were not frustrated but extremely understanding and accomodating. I took my dress home about a month before the wedding which was nice. They also spent about 45 minutes teaching my sister and best friend how to undo and redo the bustle so that it would be perfect on my wedding day. Can't recommend them enough!

My dress consultant was fantastic she listened to me and not only picked out dresses that matched my vision but also convinced me to try on a dress I would never have tried on. I'm so glad she I listened to her! The dress she picked for me was the first dress I tried on eventually went home with. Listen to the staff at Mary's they really know their stuff and are wonderful in helping find the perfect dress!

My seamstress at Mary's also did an amazing job as well and my final appoint was a breeze. I had zero issues with alterations or final pick-up. She was so kind and sweet and made my alterations and fitting an absolute joy since my own mother and grandmothers weren't able to make it.

The only thing I didn't plan on was the number of surveys and reviews the owner had me fill out at the end, I understand keeping a social media presence to boost you business and I don't mind giving a great review but I hadn't accounted for this in my schedule I politely asked if I could go but there always seemed to be one more review to fill out. This ended up making me over an late for dinner so plan on an extra hour to your appointment if you buy!
So the owner was a little pushy but I was happy with my dress and absolutely loved the staff they did an amazing job.

This was a great experience. I felt pampered and well taken care of --- I may have a little buyers remorse as the gown with shipping and alterations was almost $4,000.00 but that was my choice.

We moved out wedding forward by 6 months, and I was very stressed about only having one year to plan while in school. Mary's was the first dress shop we visited, and our experience was wonderful. Mary not only helped me find my dress, she provided insight on weddings and marriage. This was particularly dear to me because my fiancé is in the military, and Mary gave me some great advice about being a military wife.
In regards to the dress itself, Mary helped narrow down my selections and explain the difference between styles. She took time to answer every question thoughtfully and completely. She was incredibly patient as my mom and I asked to see hair pieces, veils, sleeve options, bustles, etc. She was calm and very friendly, helping ease my nerves. I really could not have asked for better customer service!

Same day appointment

Called and Mary was able to fit my party in same day, another bridal boutique went out of business without sharing. Devastated Mary opened me into her gorgeous boutique and her assistant helped me find two dresses that I can’t pick. It was a lovely experience for any bride. Mary is eager to please and will offer a lending hand in finding that perfect dress.

Despite reading some disconcerting reviews, I took my chances and checked out Marys. I'm so glad I did! They had exactly what I wanted-NOT a mermaid gown, lace, strapless, classy and comfortable. I ended up spending more than I originally planned, but the price included all alterations which sealed the deal. Every experience I've had there-three visits, multiple phone calls-has been professional and pleasant. Great place!

****Update: my wedding has come and gone, and I got SO MANY COMPLIMENTS on my beautiful and unique dress! It was difficult to bustle, which is my only complaint, but it was so gorgeous and comfortable that I ended up not even caring :)

When I started my wedding dress shopping, I started at David's Bridal to try on a dress that I had fallen in love with in a magazine. I was very disappointed in the quality of that dress and did not allow for enough time to try on others because I had already booked an appointment at Mary's Designer Bridal Boutique. When I arrived, the process was very similar to the show "Say Yes to the Dress." A consultant asked me what I was looking for and what my price range was. The dresses I tried on were amazing and I fell in love with the third dress I tried on. The seamstress who took my measurements for the dress and my alterations was very sweet and although I went up in size slightly, she was always very encouraging. When I came to the shop to try my dress on for the last time, for them to iron it, and to take it home, I was not happy with the quality of the ironing. But they told me I could bring it back anytime to have the ironing touched up before the wedding. I brought the dress their the week of the wedding and the owner had a little bit of an attitude when my mother asked to see the quality of the ironing this time before we took it home, but ultimately they did accommodate us by ironing it a second time. She told us how to hang it up as soon as I got home to keep it wrinkle free and my dress was flawless when I walked down the isle. My fiance told me when we met at the end of the isle that my wedding dress was worth every penny. One of my guests said I was the most beautiful bride she had ever seen. During the reception my maid of honor had to periodically help me pull the dress back up so I didn't pop out of it and flash anyone since one of the promises of the dress is that it has built in support so that a bra is not necessary. Overall, it is a beautiful dress that I hope my daughter will wear for her wedding.

I got my dress from Mary's bridal and I love it! When I first went there I thought they were a little snobby at first but I think they warmed up to me when they realized I was serious about buying a dress. My dress was custom made and fit like a glove.

I found my dress before anything else! Mary's is a small boutique shop with one-on-one service and they make custom dresses. Even for all that, it wasn't as expensive as I had expected. Be sure to tell them your TOTAL dress budget (mine was under $2K) for everything, including alteration package, etc. I am short, with slight scoliosis and stuff, so it was very important to me that the dress be made to MY body proportions. They did an excellent job. I bought the dress almost a year in advance, so when I went for my first fitting 2 months before the wedding, I had lost a few inches from my workouts. They ended up making 3 separate alterations to the dress, all "free" within the alteration package I had purchased up front. The final alteration was made the week of the wedding. I felt like something wasn't right and finally went back to see if they could fix it. At first the seamstress didn't understand but then she did, and made it exactly right. She even said, "Oh you're right! Much better now." The dress was so "me" and not exactly like every other wedding dress these days. It fit like a glove, was made of high-quality material that didn't wrinkle much at all, and shimmered in the light. I felt (not like a princess, since that wasn't my goal), like the best version of me, getting married. Thank you, Mary's!

I would definitely recommend Marys Bridal in Annapolis. First place and last place I went looing for my wedding dress. She knew exactly what I wanted. Was super professional when it came to trying dresses on, and taking measurements. Everything came out perfect and dont think it couldve went any better. My appointments were always on time and the process went very smoothly.

I was thrilled with my dress and my whole experience with Mary's. Mary custom-designed a dress for me and the quality is exquisite. The team was great about tweaking things along the way, e.g. I didn't love the bustle so they came up with an alternate solution. Mary is very straightforward with her opinions of what works and what doesn't - and she clearly knows her stuff. Some may find this off-putting but I found it refreshing after visiting several other bridal salons that just seemed eager to make a quick sale. I felt like Mary was really invested in making sure I looked my best.

I wish I could write a separate review for their seamstress (unfortunately I don't remember her name)... she was PHENOMENAL!! Not only did she work to restructure my dress and have it fit appropriately, she helped me attach a pre-purchased gem belt to the dress, and, when I had issues with my veil, she restructured it so that it would lay appropriately... all because she wanted it to look right! I was completely shocked when she offered to do these things for me, and am completely grateful. Definitely consider using Mary's specifically for their seamstress, she was seriously worth it!

Otherwise, Mary's was nice. Good selection of dress and a very pretty store. I had a helpful fitter who allowed me find the right dress and make the final decision. Mary would step into the appointment, but I didn't find her opinions to be very helpful (they seemed to go against what I voiced I liked best) and they didn't make sense to my mom either.

I recently purchased my wedding dress at Mary's Designer Bridal Boutique. I was able to work with both Mary & her associate Natasha. Mary & Natasha were wonderful. Natasha helped me in the fitting room & with style ideas, she was professional & made my experience a lot of fun! Both Mary & Natasha were very attentive, I have zero worries & am excited about my next appt's for fittings & alterations.
