Harvey was amazing! 10/10. He was extremely prepared and could read the vibe of the event. We had a long playlist with many songs that were slow, so he played some of the slower songs during dinner and saved the more upbeat songs for dancing. He also respected our wishes about a quiet exit, which worked out because we needed to leave 15 minutes early. And I heard from guests that he kept the party going! The speakers directing music to the dance floor were great so the people with hearing problems could still hear each other at the tables. His attitude was great! He even switched from a polo to a suit when he saw most of our guests came in suits. His announcements didn’t interrupt the flow of music. Overall, he knew what we wanted better than we did!

Huge thank you to Maryland's DJ for helping us celebrate our wedding! We couldn't have asked for a more perfect DJ than Steve from Maryland's DJ! He kept everyone dancing all night as we celebrated our big day! He was extremely professional throughout the entire process and was masterful in matching the energy that we were looking for in a DJ. We also used the Video 360 provided by Maryland's DJ for some super fun videos that captured our guests at our celebration in a unique and special way. Made Our Wedding Day Spectacular!
Oh my gosh, our DJ, Harvey, was a 10 on everything!!! And the photo booth turned out better than I expected. It was amazing working with Harvey, he was basically our wedding coordinator! Everyone complimented his dj skills and my husband and I loved his transitions and making sure that we're still on schedule or if anything needed to be changed around due to time.

Amazing DJ!
DJ Neil Feldman was an amazing DJ! We had multiple video calls with him to square everything away for the wedding schedule. He was extremely professional and responsive before and during the wedding. I loved that DJ Neil didn’t play just a simple sound track of “Must Play” songs. He took our style of music and the vibe of the wedding and played everything that fit and kept people on the dance floor. He even took 1 of our favorite songs and mashed it with another one…my wife and I both looked at each other and smiled as soon as we realized the 2 songs and how well they flowed together.
I would hands down recommend MD DJ’s to anyone getting married that wants to have a good time and dance the night away.

We had a 10/10 experience with Neil and Maryland DJs! Neil did a fantastic job not only honoring our song requests but also reading the room and perfectly capturing the vibe of our guests. Everyone commented on how much fun the music was, and if we ever host another event, we would absolutely choose Maryland DJs again and request Neil!

Steve did a PHENOMENAL job!!! Right from the start, he did such a good job figuring out what vibe we were looking for and even provided his number for any last minute updates we would need. His playlist during dinner (which we had little input on besides acoustic modern songs) was amazing and people were coming up to us asking for his playlist 😂. Then, he captured exactly what we wanted in terms of songs on the dance floor and kept the energy extremely high which was SO important to me. I literally danced to every single song. Exceeded Expectations, Would Recommend
We had an absolutely fantastic time working with Maryland DJ! We got married this past weekend and had about 140 guests in attendance. We worked with DJ Neil, and he was an absolute professional throughout the day.
Our ceremony went on without a hitch, even with our family friend playing the keyboard at our outside ceremony space with support from Neil. He executed any announcements that we had flawlessly and made sure all of our guests knew exactly what was going on throughout the evening.
When it came to the dance floor, Neil knew exactly how to keep the party going. I am very particular about the music played on the dance floor, and Neil took my playlist and really made it into his own. I felt that all the songs that I wanted to hear were played, and Neil masterfully read the room and played songs that he knew would elevate it to the next level. The dance floor was completely full the entire time, it was truly a wonderful experience.
I would enthusiastically recommend Maryland DJ for your event, they really came through for us! Thanks again Neil!

Maryland’s DJ was INCREDIBLE. Before our event, there was really good communication from everyone on the team, including the automated reminder emails, personal emails, and our original intake. We really liked that we had so many options of DJs to choose from, too. We also really liked the portal and how we could sort through/choose songs in there. Neil, who actually worked our event, was the absolute best. He met with us several times to make sure things were just right. He matched our vibe and kept people on the dance floor throughout the night. The transitions between songs were awesome. He was a guiding presence to the guests and kept the spotlight on us. People said music was one of the best parts of our wedding. Can’t recommend Maryland’s DJ enough!

Worth every penny!
When my spouse and I were looking into wedding DJs, we were not sure what to expect. We were investing money into what we hoped would be a good time. The moment we met the folks at Maryland's DJ, we knew we had found the right place. They were friendly, attentive, and professional, matching us with the perfect DJ based on our preferences. As my spouse and I love early 2000s pop punk, we got matched with Steve Hartka.
Friends, Steve is the MAN. His enthusiasm for his job is infectious, and he took such care to get to know us as a couple. He was able to balance our preferences with curating the perfect party that felt like ours. He did not miss a beat, no lull, not even one. He started with party favorites to get everyone dancing, moving to dance hits to keep everyone dancing, ending with well-chosen rock. The songs blended well and felt like the work of a true professional.
Steve did such an amazing job that we had people complimenting us all night. By the end, nearly our entire wedding was praising Steve by name. Our evening was absolutely amazing, a large part due to Steve.

Just want to start by saying thank you for how amazing the entire Maryland’s DJ has been. From our initial conversation to the wedding night, we’ve felt comfortable knowing you guys had us covered. With the hundred other wedding things we were managing, not worrying about the DJ situation was a massive plus. So a kudos to you for your professionalism and the help you showed us when we were still shopping around and trying to get a sense of things.
Most of the credit should go to Steve. What a legend. I’m not sure he even knew where Moldova was on a map before our wedding day but they’d give him a citizenship after the party he threw for us all. 10/10 service, will recommend Steve and you guys for any weddings our friends have.
We weren’t the most organized bunch, but he sat down with us and went through all the forms and song choices. We felt that we really aligned on our music preferences and he understood the wedding vibe we were going for. We also had a few traditions we needed to do and he helped us through it all! The party was so great we even made arrangements with him to stay later.
Again thank you both from the bottom of our hearts for helping make our wedding night the happiest evening of our lives!

They know how to throw a party!
Working with Maryland's DJ was great from Day 1. From the initial contact and discussions with Taylor and Steve about the vision for our night, we knew that we were in good hands. We had some issues with USPS and check delivery/cashing, but they quickly worked out a solution with us as soon as issues were discovered. Even with a diverse music taste and a wide age range, Steve kept the dance floor hopping from start to finish. He was even able to adjust on the fly to my wedding party's last-minute entrance changes. Our guests RAVED about the music and I can't recommend Steve and the team enough for any occasion. We hired Maryland's DJ for our wedding and I cannot recommend them enough! For those of you who like more control over the type of music played, Maryland's DJ's portal has an excellent layout in which you could list your favorite songs to suit any mood, or different phases of the night, and the DJ we got, Mike Q, did an absolutely excellent job mixing it all together! Maryland’s DJ was phenomenal! Taylor was super helpful and responsive during the early stages of planning. DJ Scott was FANTASTIC. Another DJ was supposed to cover our event, but something came up and Jordan (owner) called to apologize and ensure that DJ Scott was the best candidate to entertain our guests. We had 125 guests and the dance floor was packed ALL night. I could not recommend DJ Scott more!

MVP of our wedding vendors
We used Maryland’s DJ for our 150-person black tie optional wedding in Washington DC. Services included music (ceremony, cocktail hour, reception), photo booth, and uplights. Everything was flawless. Jordan was our DJ and he was an absolute pro. Music done well has the power to make life feel like a movie and create epic moments and memories. That’s what Jordan delivered for us. Cannot recommend him enough. The photo booth was a huge hit. Totally customizable and looked great.

Jordan was amazing. Got the exact vibe we were going for in Our wedding and reception. Whole family was on the dance floor most of the night. Also the process of picking songs and uploading guest requests was really easy.

Great music and very easy to work with
We had a great experience with Maryland's DJ for our wedding last June! When we first began researching our wedding DJ, we found it easy to set up appointments to speak with Jordan, who did a great job explaining the services they offer and matching us with our DJ Steve. During the planning stage, it was fun and easy to work on our song requests and timeline through the online portal, and in our zoom meeting with Steve, his expertise made us feel confident that he would be able to create the experience we wanted for our wedding day. When the day finally came, we were so happy with the music Steve chose for every part of our reception. Our reception was a bit on the longer side, so we were impressed that he kept our guests dancing the entire night! We are also so grateful for his professionalism - we found out later that we had a guest who was a bit demanding with requests, but he handled the situation with grace and without bringing it to our attention so that we could fully enjoy ourselves. We highly recommend Maryland's DJ and Steve!

Party Never Stopped
Everyone at MD's DJ was so great to work with! Taylor helped with scheduling and coordination, and she was so responsive, kind, and a joy to work with! DJ Steve was originally supposed to do our wedding and he produces music as well as DJing, so when I brought him a first dance song that I loved but felt too long, he helped me rework it keeping all of the sentimental parts while trimming it down to a reasonable time. He is so great! Something came up and he couldn't make it to our event, so DJ Scott stepped in and was so great! Every song he played was met with cheers and our guests RAVED about him. He kept the dance floor full all night and everyone had so much fun!! Highly recommend Marylands DJ!!!

Had an awesome time with Marylands DJ
I had Maryland's DJ for my wedding last weekend and they totally rocked it. We got a lot of compliments that night for the music mixes and the energy. Brian was a lot of fun to work with, at one point some during the reception guest were slowing down a bit but he was able to get everyone excited and dancing again in no time.
I knew several years before my wedding that I wanted to work with Maryland’s DJ after seeing them at a friend’s wedding so I’m so happy they were available and there to make my big day so memorable!

Callan Marshall wedding!
We had Brian from Marylands dj and he was excellent! Our dance floor was crowded the whole time and he played something for all age groups :) all of our songs we wanted were played and everyone had the best feedback. The mixing was incredible and each song seamlessly transitioned to the next which kept the energy high at all times. Highly recommend!

Best DJ service in the Mid-Atlantic/DMV
22/10 recommend Maryland's DJ!! We worked with DJ John and MC Laz for our wedding and I cannot stress this enough when I say those two knocked it out of the park. They worked with us to make the planning very simple and straight forward. They were super helpful with recommendations for prelude and cocktail hour music.
The planning portal was super easy and fun to put together our dream wedding playlist. From the prelude music all the way until the very last song of the night, Laz and John worked with us to execute our vision flawlessly.
Now whenever I hear of anyone holding a wedding or event that calls for a DJ, without hesitation I will always recommend, Maryland's DJ! Thank you all again so much for making our special day, the greatest day.

Best Dance Floor Ever!
We decided to go with Maryland DJ after having a fantastic introductory call with the owner Jordan Solender. We booked DJ Mike Q for our wedding date and had access to easy planning tools to where we could add different "must play" and "do not play" songs. Sadly Mike Q ended up getting covid the Friday before the wedding, but Maryland DJ also always has an unscheduled DJ on staff in case something comes up and DJ Neil was able to fill in beautifully! He made the dance floor come alive, and we received so much praise from guests about the DJ's song choices. It was hands down the best dance floor I've seen at a wedding, and Maryland DJ was a major part in making that happen. Would definitely recommend Maryland DJ and DJ Neil!

Incredible DJ’ing from Start to Finish
Marylands DJ, and DJ Brian brought the energy for our wedding we were so happy to have them and have plenty of great mixes with all of the music that we picked. From the beginning Marylands DJ were professional and extremely helpful in our process. We were shown a great and informative presentation about their offerings, and Jordan walked us through the entire contract from beginning to end to make sure we had no issues! They had plenty of follow up emails and even incorporated some Polish music, as my wife is Polish-American, and made sure the crowd was always partying! Couldn’t be happier with Marylands DJ, and DJ Brian!! Thank you again!!

We are so happy we worked with Maryland’s DJ for our September 2023 wedding. They were extremely responsive and offered insight/suggestions when asked. Steve Hartka was our DJ and he was outstanding. The dance floor was packed the entire reception! Multiple guests told us how great our music was and they couldn’t believe they danced the entire reception. We are so happy with our experience and definitely recommend this company to any couple who wants to have a packed dance floor!

DJ Alex did a phenomenal job not only during the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and party… but perhaps most importantly, before the wedding weekend even started. The conversations we had with him made us very comfortable - we recognized that he knew exactly what we were going for. And he executed.

Had an absolutely fantastic experience working with Brian and Maryland's DJ! They have several DJ's in their company which I appreciated, the first meeting was seeing what kind of music we wanted played and what the vibes of the day we were looking for. We spoke with Andrew and he helped us figure out who would be the best match for us and he nailed it with us having DJ Brian! Everyone at the wedding said they had so much fun and everyone was dancing the night away. I think he did a great job of taking requests and playing what we wanted. They have a whole form and website to help layout the day and potential music suggestions which was incredibly helpful!! I do not have one single negative comment about them. I am so thankful that he was able to keep everyone dancing and giving the range of music everyone wanted and could relate to. Definitely recommend them if you are looking for a DJ!!

Working with Jordan was effortless! He was very communicative, quick with responses, and offered great advice on our wedding playlist. He was informative and provided great ideas and suggestions to enhance our day. One thing in particular that was very helpful was his timed reminders and actions to complete tasks. That helped us to stay organized and be on top of what we had to do regarding the music, lighting, and timeline. On the day of our wedding, Jordan and his team were a breeze to work with. When they packed up the photo booth towards the end of the evening since it wasn't being used often, we asked him kindly if it could be brought out again, and he was so accommodating and generous to set it up again. Perfect Wedding Dance Party!
Maryland's DJ was so great to work with--very responsive and thorough in answering all of our initial questions. We especially loved that we could include a photobooth and uplighting with our entertainment package!
And we'll add to the chorus of rave reviews for DJ Mike Q! He kept the dance floor PACKED and truly everyone had a great time--from our millenial friends all the way up to our 90 year old grandparents! Mike incorporated all of our requests, both songs and different special dances. Our experience with Maryland’s DJ was incredible from the beginning! We met with a rep virtually who led us through an extensive presentation of all they had to offer. He asked us about our vibe and matched us with one of their DJs accordingly. Then we met with our DJ Jamaal. They have an awesome portal where you add in all of your music requests, even when to fade out, etc. We had a meeting with Jamaal a month out and he was very flexible with all of our last minute changes. We 100% recommend Maryland’s DJ for anyone looking for a fun, professional, company to work with.

The very best! My now-husband and I are huge music fans. Finding the right wedding DJ was really important to us, and once we spoke to Steve and Jordan from Maryland's DJ, we knew our search was over. Steve was so incredibly knowledgeable and accommodating. He played every single song we requested (including quite a few obscure/non-traditional songs), and did a great job of reading the room and playing music that kept people on the dance floor. He was also super kind and easy to talk to, and we greatly enjoyed working with him. Additionally, the online portal Maryland's DJ uses is incredibly easy to navigate, and helped make the planning process a genuinely fun experience.
These guys are true professionals and absolute masters of their craft. I cannot recommend Maryland's DJ enough!

Truly the BEST! Steve was incredible! He worked with us to make an epic dance list that kept our guests dancing all night (including bride's favorite's like Ultimate from Freaky Friday, Miracles Happen from Princess Diaries!, and Year 3000!) - every DCOM child's dreams! We worked closely with Steve Hartka throughout the entire process and we both have nothing but nice things to say about him and the company as a whole. Steve was responsive with emails and their portal is a great tool for filling out forms and music choices, contacting your DJ and keeping track of your payments.
The best part about the experience was the wedding day. Steve and his assistant showed up on time and had everything set up within an hour. He took down all of our important song requests. These guys are true professionals. Everything was so on point with ceremony and cocktail hour music. And the reception was one for the books. Steve and his assistant had our dance floor packed throughout the entire reception. We had multiple people tell us after the fact that it was one of the best receptions they had ever been too. And a large part of that is owed to Steve and Maryland's DJ for making our special night a truly memorable one.

Steve was nothing short of amazing! He provided us with a fun, entertaining, and memorable wedding reception! Steve constantly had the dance floor completely full! Steve had a pulse on the wedding and keeping everyone out on the dance floor dancing and having a great time! Not only did he do an amazing job in that aspect, but we also had him announcing everyone, which really got the party started! We could not have been more lucky to have Steve as our DJ! Hire Maryland’s DJ!!!
Marylands DJ is the absolute best. From start to finish, they were so organized and professional, and made us feel confident we hired the perfect people for entertaining our guests on our wedding day. Steve Hartka was our DJ and he truly was incredible. He took the time to work with us leading up to the wedding to understand the vibe we were going for, help us with logistics for the ceremony, reception announcements and flow of the evening, and so much more. He had all our guests on the dance floor from the minute it opened up until the end of the night - the dance floor was never empty and no one wanted the night to end!! People still rave about how amazing he was months after our wedding. It truly was everything we wanted in a party to celebrate our special day and we could not recommended both Steve and Maryland’s DJ enough!!

Amazing personal service!
Jordan did an amazing job of personalizing the entire wedding experience for us! He took the time to go through songs that were a must play, play if we had time or the vibe was right, and songs that were absolutely do not play! He even helped us pick some of those harder to think of songs like Mother/Groom Father/Daughter, etc. Highly recommend!

Steve H. & everyone at Maryland DJ was an absolute pleasure and incredible to work with. Steve really took his time to understand the aesthetic and mood we wanted to Capture for our wedding day. The photo booth they offered was completely worth it! These were the first photos we got back and we love looking at them! At the end of the night my wedding guests were chanting for an encore. Additional, one of my family members contacted MD DJ to secretly purchase dancing on a cloud for us. MD DJ really delivered to make our night magical!

Best dance floor ever!
We worked with Mike Q and had the most amazing experience. We told him our highest priority was to never have a lull in the dance floor and he absolutely delivered. Our guests were dancing all night long and everyone told us how amazing the DJ was. We had a crowd of all different ages and he did a great job of mixing in songs for everyone. We also talked about him playing songs fast and not staying on one song for too long, and he did this better than I could have imagined and he got through every song I wanted to hear and was able to take requests as well from our guests. Even the people in the bar below us were asking who our DJ was and said he was the best they have ever heard at the venue. He was also so professional and we loved working with him. Thank you so much Mike!!! Next time we need a DJ we will 1000% book him again, and you should too!

Great DJs to Work with!
Marylands DJ were great to work with, especially our DJ, DJ Mike Q! We loved the process and portal that Marylands DJ provided. It was easy to select the songs we wanted. DJ Mike Q was responsive throughout the months leading up to the wedding and we had a final walkthrough a few weeks prior where we talked through more of the details. On the day of, DJ Mike Q kept everything running smoothly and was flexible, changing things where needed and working with our coordinator to switch up the timeline based on how the event was going. We're very happy we selected Maryland's DJ for our wedding!

Incredible Experience!
Maryland's DJ was the perfect DJ company for our wedding. DJ Harvey was so easy to communicate with, he worked with all of our vendors to ensure we had the best experience possible, and he kept the party going all night long! The energy from the dance floor was one of the most talked about parts of our wedding day and it wouldn't have been possible without DJ Harvey's skills as well as the great sound system and uplighting. We would recommend to anyone hoping to have a fun wedding reception!

Maryland's DJ and DJ Mike Q were the ABSOLUTE BEST. I cannot recommend them enough. My husband and I are tough music critics and insisted on a very specific music vibe for our wedding and DJ Mike absolutely nailed it. They brought energy, visuals, and of course big sounds. My husband and I cannot recommend Maryland's DJ enough. Based on our preferences, we were paired with DJ Steve. We have been impressed with him since day 1. Having never planned a wedding before, my husband and I did not know the process. However, Steve walked us through everything. He was organized, clear, easily accessible, and had the crowd dancing all night. The company has a lot of prep documents which helped ups plan for the flow of the night and really consider what we wanted for our evening -- this helped so much. Would rehire again and highly recommend to others!

Working with Steve was a breeze, he's super friendly, very knowledgable about a wide range of genres, and really listens to you to help craft the best experience tailored to your wedding. DJ Steve made our science wedding rock!
DJ Steve from Maryland’s DJ provided music and lights for our event and was incredible! The lighting was perfect for the venue and really brought our vision to life. The music was on point all evening, and we really appreciated how willing Steve was to make announcements on the fly and to just go find out answers to questions so we didn’t have to stress. Ryan Carr with Maryland's DJ was awesome, he was great to work with through the process of planning our wedding, explained everything thoroughly and was super helpful. He and his partner for our event set the mood for our whole day and we can't recommend them highly enough, everyone loved the energy and the music. Their planning features were so awesome, they allowed us to organize songs by must play, do not play, etc. which really helped us put our personality into our wedding.

Steve from Maryland’s DJ perfectly captured our wedding vision and had everyone on their feet all night! Absolutely amazing
Jordan literally made our wedding a party! We had multiple meetings with him via Zoom because we needed help with song selections and he sat with us and helped us pick out the perfect ones! He also made our day run so smoothly… from pre ceremony all the way to the very last song. He had everyone on the dance floor and was able to find the groove to cater to all ages. I have told all of my friends about him and his company. I would absolutely hire him again in a heartbeat. He is very responsive, so fun, amazing energy and truly loves what he does. We worked with Jordan for our wedding and my legs are still sore from never having left the dance floor. Jordan was involved in every stage of our planning process and made himself readily available for any questions, concerns, or random additions. He was even prepared for changes we needed to make on the fly, day of during the celebration. He read the room throughout the night and kept the dance floor packed and we couldn't have imagined a more perfect night; due in large part to Jordan and his team. If you need a DJ for an event you have coming up, there is really only one option in Maryland's DJ. The name of the company is fitting because they are by far "THE" Maryland's DJ and not just "A" DJ in Maryland

Do not hesitate!
to say the least, 4 days after my wedding I was still getting non stop texts about how amazing my DJ was. Mike Q was the dj for my wedding, originally I made a playlist for him to play, after having multiple zoom calls to ensure everything went great - I loved the vibe that mike had and told him to play whatever he wanted to play. Every single person was on the dance floor. Yes even the old people. He was SOOO good. He really made the fun part of the wedding more fun than anticipated. I will be going out just to hear mike dj at the clubs!!
