  Harp Music for Ceremony

  We recently got married in a small ceremony at City Hall and hired Mary to do the music. From first outreach, Mary was a joy to work with. She made the process of planning the music very easy and approachable, helping us understand what was needed and how it would translate to the day-of event. She has a great song list with lots of variety, which let us really customize the ceremony to our preferences across bluegrass, classical and modern selections. Mary was welcoming of our non-traditional choices, including the addition of a first dance since we decided to forgo a reception.
  
  Mary was highly communicative and always responsive to planning outreach, which we strongly appreciated. She is an extremely talented musician, and the beauty of her playing truly brought our day together. Mary was kind and genuine, and her joyful presence really elevated our day. I would wholeheartedly recommend Mary to anyone considering working with her!

  Love Mary!

  I hired Mary a couple months before my wedding as a last minute choice to have a harpist instead of an organist at my church ceremony. I’m so glad I did and that I landed on Mary. She was so pleasant to work with and added such an elegant touch to our ceremony. It was one of the easiest parts of my wedding planning.

  Mary is not only an incredible harpist, but also just genuinely wonderful to talk to and plan with. She was so helpful, professional, and honestly just perfect. I would chose her 1 million times over.

  The best harpist!

  We were referred to Mary King by another harpist who had been recommended by our wedding venue but was booked for our date- and we are so grateful that we were! From the moment we reached out to Mary, she was always very timely in responses and showed us that she truly cared about how our wedding day played out. The music she provided for our wedding ceremony was absolutely beautiful - she is so talented, and for our Catholic Church ceremony she ensured that everything played was appropriate but also the style that we wanted. We can not recommend Mary enough!!

  We got married recently at Belle Mer in RI and hiring Mary and Cathy to play during our ceremony and cocktail hour was exactly the personal, intimated and elevated touch I was dreaming of! Mary was easy to work with, responsive, so kind and their talent speaks for itself! Truly a pleasure!

  Magic, elegance, beauty

  Mary showed the absolute utmost professionalism, joy, true caring, and kindness to me, not just on the day of our wedding, but throughout the planning process. Mary spoke to me a number of times over the phone/email, offering encouragement and peace. We spoke about the challenges and uncertainties that COVID had presented and our shared Irish ancestry. She really helped calm my anxieties. This wedding was very nerve-wracking for me to plan while dealing with a stressful restaurant job, and a pandora's box of family issues that arose from the wedding itself. Mary was my Godsend. She gave me helpful suggestions as to which tunes to pick based on my description of the atmosphere that I wished to create, and she was patient with me when I changed my mind a few times. Her performance during the ceremony was truly the most perfect touch of elegance. She arrived early and my family absolutely loved her presence there. I cannot recommend Mary enough for any sized wedding or event- she is the epitome of class, professionalism, and sweetness. She is worth every penny X 1000. Her kindness really shines so brightly. Thank you so much, Mary! I apologize for my late review!

  Mary was fantastic to work with! I had to reschedule my wedding due to covid, and she was flexible and supportive every step of the way. She is very responsive, talented, and helpful. She helped me pick the songs she'd play for my ceremony, and everyone complimented how great the music was! Highly recommend!

  Harpist for our wedding

  We hired Mary as the harpist for our ceremony and she was great! She’s a very talented harpist and her music was beautiful. She was very easy to work with and helpful with making song selections. All of the guests at our wedding thoroughly her music. I would highly recommend Mary!

We changed our minds a few times, and Mary did not mind at all. With everything going on, we even changed the start time of the ceremony and forgot to tell her. Overall, Mary was a sweetheart, responded fast to our emails, and did an excellent job playing the harp for our wedding ceremony.   Mary King provided beautiful harp music for our son's wedding at an outdoor venue. Her fluid playing and the crystal clear sound created a lovely, calm environment that immediately set a magical tone for our event! Mary was very flexible and really easy to work with. Her repertoire includes many standard classical pieces, a deep collection of Celtic tunes, and her own versions of other well known romantic songs. I would definitely recommend her to anyone who is looking for music for their wedding!

  Mary was a joy to work with, and was so patient and encouraging as we worked to decide what music should surround us on our special day. We had a small ceremony at the lighthouse on the island of Jamestown RI, followed by a reception for 30 people. Mary played her beautiful music for several hours, starting as people arrived for the ceremony and continuing back at the reception through the dinner. All the guests raved about Mary and her sweet music!
  Thank you so much Mary. You added such beautiful and graceful music to support and enhance our wedding day, and it couldn't have been more perfect.

  Mary's talent is overwhelming! Our daughters wedding ceremony was held on August 4, 2017 on the beautiful north lawn of Gurneys Resort and Marina in Newport, RI. Mary was staged just to the left of the lighthouse. She has an exceptional Bose sound system so the music carried wonderfully in this outdoor venue. My sister told me that when Mary played the song Hallelujah you could hear a pin drop because all the guests were so captivated by the beauty of how she executed that tune. She was a pleasure to deal with, highly responsive and very reasonably priced. She was worth every penny. My daughter can't wait to get the video so she can enjoy more of her stylings. Thank to her for making our special day that much better!!!

  Mary's talent is overwhelming! Our daughters wedding ceremony was held on August 4, 2017 on the beautiful north lawn of Gurneys Resort and Marina in Newport, RI. She is a tremendous talent, and easy to work with - great sense of humor, responsive, etc. She narrowed down her vast repertoire and provided a smaller number of selections based on what she thought would work best - and she was right. Everything flowed beautifully. I highly recommend her. Thank you, Mary!
