So happy! We used Mary for our daughter’s wedding and the pictures were amazing!
Mary and her crew couldn’t have been nicer or more professional. A lot of the shots were unusually creative and some were extraordinary! They showed up early, were flexible and unobtrusive but captured every important moment. Many of the poses we would never have thought of on our own. Not the standard line photos, but imaginative and special. Mary is very patient dealing with errant family members.
We can’t say enough good things about her services!
Highly, highly recommend for any important occasion but especially a wedding. -

Mary Kelly is a magical unicorn. If you're looking for a photographer, look no further, you've found her! She is a jack of all trades - a hype person, a wrangler, a troubleshooter and so much more! Working with Mary was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding in September 2023. We were interested in finding a photographer who could capture candid moments, as well as some posed/portraits, and Mary perfectly captured the magic of the day. From our initial conversation, we immediately knew we wanted her to be a part of our day, especially since your photographer is the third wheel and with you for the majority of it. She makes you feel so comfortable and like a close friend from the get-go!! Initial planning all the way through to our wedding day was absolutely seamless given Mary's attention to detail, organization and great communication. We did an engagement shoot session with her before the wedding which was awesome to get more comfortable with both her and in front of the camera, and the photos came out absolutely stunning. Prior to the wedding, Mary helped inform our timeline, which had a challenge of capturing two brides getting ready since we are an LGBTQ couple, and worked with us on on our shot list to outline all of the different photos and people we wanted to capture. On our wedding day, Mary and her additional shooters, Mike and Patty, were extremely professional, ensured they got everything from the shot list and were barely obtrusive to our guests' experience. Mary sent us a few sneak peaks the day after our wedding which were incredible, and once we received back our full album in January 2024, we were in awe of how stunningly she captured every piece of our wedding day. Mary also recommended a videographer she's closely worked with, Josh from Bear in Motion, who we also ended up hiring. They truly are a dynamic duo! We have photos and videos we'll cherish for a lifetime and new friends! -

Exceeded Expectations
With a market saturated with a billion wedding photographers, it was an overwhelming assignment to pick the "perfect" one for our special day. Thinking back, I consider myself lucky to have found Mary Kelly Photography through her Instagram/Facebook account. She was quick to respond and we scheduled time to discuss what our needs were. I immediately felt a connection with Mary, she is friendly, with a sense of humor, personable, accommodating and most of all HONEST...the list can go on and on! If you are looking for a creative, talented, and truly genuine person to capture your wedding day look no further. Mary Kelly Photography is phenomenal. Her work is simply beautiful and every photo taken exceeded our expectations. We had lots of fun with Mary too! She is just awesome...Hire her, you will not be sorry! -

What. a. gem!! Mary is incredibly talented, but beyond that she is one of the kindest, most caring and genuine people we have ever met. Simply super human. Mary was recommended to us by our cousins, and from our first meeting, we knew we had found our wedding photographer. She spent the time to get to know us as a couple and our personalities, which we so greatly appreciated.
We made the wonderful decision to have an engagement photo shoot and had Mary pick the location....and she did not disappoint. She was able to bring us out of our comfort zone and had some amazing shots in a variety of locations. She was consistently using her eye to find the next place for the best shot that would work for us. We loved Mary's sense of adventure and were happy we could spend significant time together before our Wedding Day so she could get to know us further. The colors and sunset shots that transpired from this day were remarkable, all thanks to Mary's keen eye and amazing photography skills, not to mention the countless hours she spent editing.
Fast forward to our big day. Mary was extremely professional, fun and creative with each passing minute. She found amazing light for our photos and was able to stay hidden, while capturing every moment. She helped us plan and execute on our timeline perfectly and made our day so much fun - an absolute joy to work with. She worked so well with our team of vendors, a dream for any couple. Everything was fun, light hearted and full of genuine smiles and laughs. Mary's passion radiated through the day, and our family loved having her capture our day!
Our final portfolio is everything we could have imagined and beyond. We love Mary's editing style, allowing the true colors of our day pop. We were so appreciative of all of the time and effort that went into each detail of the editing process. A true work of art.
Mary, thank you for being the dream wedding photographer and for being an amazingly talented and kind human. We wish there were more people like you in this world! -

Mike and I could not have asked for a better wedding photo experience. The photos speak for themselves. We were nervous about photos because we are not the couple that does professional photo shoots often lol. But, Mary immediately put us at ease. We had so much fun taking photos and you can tell! The quality of the photos are 11/10.
The communication ahead of time was excellent. Mary designed the best timeline for us, allowing us to enjoy our day. We got to take great photos and still not miss our day. And of course she always offered solid advice ahead of time that helped us prepare.
Family portraits were quick and painless. We had two toddlers and Mary and her team (shout out to Chris) were excellent with them!
The elements were definitely in our favor. We had a beautiful December day, but I was never worried about the photos with Mary. It was an absolute pleasure working with Mary, she's fun, organized, and creative. It was a stress free day with her help!
We are so happy that the joy and love was captured from the day and that we will get to look back at them for years to come! Thank you so much! -

I cannot recommend Mary Kelly highly enough. Beyond her brilliant photography skills, Mary truly goes above and beyond as a vendor. Mary spoke with me several times before my wedding to go over my timeline, providing hands-on guidance as we edited the plan to make the day as seamless as possible. She was even available via text and FaceTime whenever I needed to go over something. Her accessibility, especially the few weeks before the wedding, was incredibly comforting. In addition, Mary and her assistant, Kristen, made us and our guests feel so comfortable and at ease on our wedding day. Mary is fun and down to earth, but at the same time she means business and can command a rowdy bridal party and demanding family members. Mary and Kristen even checked in with my immediate family throughout the night to ensure they were capturing shots that were important to them. Lastly, THE DAY AFTER my wedding, Mary sent me a gallery of gorgeous pictures. They were a true gift as my husband and I embarked on our honeymoon. Entrusting Mary to document the most important day of our lives was one of the best decisions we made, and we'll be forever grateful to her. You won't regret hiring Mary for any of your photography needs! -

One of my close friends hired Mary for her wedding 5 years ago and ever since I saw her photos I loved her work and knew I wanted to hire her for my wedding! Mary was the easiest most flexible person to work with. She was so supportive and was there for me every step of the way. My original wedding day was May 16,2020 and I had to reschedule due to Covid in August. She called me, texted me, checked in to see how I was doing, and if I needed anything she was always there!! Planning a wedding is stressful enough then having to deal with covid and rescheduling was just an added layer, but she was just so awesome. On my wedding day she made everything happen and was just such a pleasure to work with!! I would definitely hire her!!! I love how my pictures came on they are STUNNING!! Thanks for everything Mary!! -

I can't say enough about Mary. For starters, she was so easy to work with. She did an incredible job from engagement photos to the day of our wedding. To start, I was nervous to take engagement photos because my husband is a notorious non smiler but she immediately put us both at ease and had us smiling and laughing and we had a freaking blast taking photos. Throughout the planning process she made herself available to me to answer questions, help with my timeline, and even suggested our incredible videographer. The day of, Mary and her team made everything perfect. She kept everyone at ease and took incredible photos (even with covid restrictions). She had everyone including our bridal party and families relaxed and having fun. We even got comments throughout the evening about how our friends have never seen a photographer that worked so well with everyone, blended right in and wasn't awkward at all. The photos I have gotten so far (it's been a week and I already have a handful - talk about incredible turn around time) are all absolutely stunning. I cannot recommend Mary enough. You won't be sorry you chose her. Her professionalism and ability to become your friend and be a support system (and trust me - COVID made me an absolute psycho and she went out of her way to ease every concern I had). Book her. Book her now - thank me later! -

She helped us write out an itinerary for our wedding day which really eased our stress levels from the beginning... She always had great advice and suggestions and was super easy to contact/get ahold of throughout the months leading up to our wedding. Just a sweetheart with a great talent for photography! She sent us previews just DAYS after our wedding and they are beautiful! Her assistant was wonderful as well, very talented and professional.. Best vendor that we booked by FAR. Throughout the ceremony and the reception, they blended right in all while capturing the best pictures of every detail. She was able to get all my requested shots and handle the rowdy groomsmen. It took me hours to go through all of the pictures she captured. Mary is far untouchable with her talent! I would 1,000% recommend Mary for your engagement and wedding photography!
