Marta did a beautiful job with our flowers for our wedding at the Cocoplum. I don't know anything about flowers, so she guided me through the whole process and asked all the right questions. Her help even went beyond flowers - she gave me all kinds of wonderful advice about wedding planning. She was such a joy to work with that I will actually miss visiting her now that the wedding is over!! On the day of the wedding, I felt like I was entering a dream world because of her lovely arrangements. Every detail was perfect. -

My husband and I got married two weeks ago and had our reception at the Cocoplum Womans Club. Marta is the affiliated florist included within the wedding package. She was absolutely wonderful to work with. She was always available by phone, text or email. She was extremely flexible with me and worked within my budget (since we did a few upgrades from what is in the traditional package). Not to mention - we did all of the planning virtually since I was planning my wedding from Cleveland, OH. Marta was such a sweetheart and completely made my vision for the wedding reception come to life. So grateful and highly recommend working with her!! -

Marta is amazing!!!!! She brought our vision for our wedding to life!!! Our ceremony last minute had to be moved inside due to weather and Marta brought the room to life with her work!!! Completely stunning!!! She was always professional, kind and patient! Truly amazing to work with!!!! The BEST in TOWN!!!! -

Marta más que la hacedora de hermosas creaciones con flores, es una persona maravillosa que concede gran importancia a las inquietudes que podamos tener. Siempre con gran cariño, excelentes consejos y sugerencias, muy profesional y paciente, fue una dicha que fuese la persona a cargo de las flores en el día más importante de mi hija. Los arreglos quedaron preciosos y la boda perfecta. -

The huppah was to die for, and my bouquet was out of this world huge! The peonies smelled so good. Everything I asked for she brought to life even better than I could have imagined. -

Michelle Sent on 03/02/2012Marta was also a vendor that was part of the Cocoplum package. The package only included roses so I upgraded to what I wanted but the price was still SUPER reasonable. I got everything I wanted under my budget which was not a lot. From the beginning, all my meetings with her were long because we would just talk about everything wedding-related. She is another vendor who went outside of her job description to be a friend. She gave me so much advice and helped me a lot throughout the planning process. I showed her pictures of exactly what I wanted and she completely got my vision. I am VERY PICKY and never thought I would find a florist who got my vision right but when I saw first my bouquet, then the church arrangements and finally the reception room set up, my jaw dropped more each time. She went above and beyond in every sense. She added arrangements at the church that were not in my contract, she filled the courtyard fountain with hydrengeas (also a surprise) and created a magical ambiance with the centerpieces in the room. Each table looked JUST like the pictures I gave her; I was so happy!! She even stayed at the church until I got there to say hi and thank goodness she did because she helped fix my dress’ sash right before I walked down the aisle (my mom was too nervous to do it :P). I would recommend her with my eyes closed. -
User775884 Sent on 04/15/2012Some of my arrangements were different from what I ordered but they still turned out very nice. She does this from her home, not from a shop, so you will definitely find a better price with her than you would most other florists in the Miami area. -

Very disappointing experience with Marta.. from the start she seemed like she was on it, taking notes and understanding the vision (as we showed her many MANY photos and expressed our vision many times over the phone).. It seemed like every flower that I mentioned was "out of season" but I was understanding and we came up with solutions... The day of the wedding, I was very disappointed to find this was not executed correctly, she did not even show up (she sent her team), and she sassed my mom when she asked her why we are using roses when we explicitly told her that roses were my least favorite flowers.. Our garland for farmhouse tables were VERY short and again using roses which we asked her not to... She proceeded to then forget about her vases and did not pick them up from the venue after our wedding, so my mom had to drop them off herself after the sour experience. This really should not have been this difficult as the vision was not elaborate.. I wanted baby's breath, white flowers and some greenery, what we got were dark arrangments with my least favorite flower.. The worst part is, she was rude and sassy about not delivering the correct flowers and offered to send them AFTER the ceremony and reception were underway... Luckily I had other vendors who made up for this mishap and we had a blast... but it is very disappointing to look back to photos and see arrangements that were not in the vision.
