  The perfect proposal photographer!

  Marta was there for my surprise proposal on top of the Duomo di Milano! My fiancé hired her to capture the moment, and it was so perfect. She was so kind, and so excited for us both. She had such a great eye, and knew the perfect spots for us to walk around, to get the best pictures. She walked us through every step, and her work is absolutely breathtaking! I am so incredibly thankful to have these pictures forever. If you are in Italy, don't hesitate, and reach out to her!

  Extremely talented photographer

  Marta exceeded all of our expectations for our engagement photo shoot. Not only was she kind and patient, but most importantly she is extremely talented photographer! She knew the exact places to go, along with best lightings and poses to capture the most beautiful shots. There were hundreds of photos she gave us to choose from- we had a hard time picking our top 40 because so many of them were wonderful. We highly recommend Marta for any special occasion!!

  Wonderful Experience

  Marta did an amazing job on our Lake Como engagement shoot. She was wonderful to work with and made us feel so relaxed. We absolutely loved our end result! Highly recommend.

  Highly Recommended Photographer

  We absolutely loved working with Marta Guenzi on our wedding day in Lake Como! We fell in love with her style; the soft, romantic, beautiful colors she uses to capture moments is just breathtaking. She really is such a talented photographer and has this presence about her that instantly makes you feel calm and relaxed. Marta is super sweet, easy-going and very patient. She captures each moment without any interruptions. She never once asked us to stop what we were doing and pose for the camera. Instead, she was truly in the moment with us which made all the photos absolutely perfect. She has a great eye and her direction and communication with us throughout the process created incredibly beautiful results. We highly recommend working with Marta. She is simply amazing!

  Villa Monastero Vow Renewal

  We picked Marta to photograph our vow renewal during our recent trip to Varenna. From our first communication via email, Marta was extremely helpful and provided valuable information on different locations, along with their process, procedures, and costs. Her photography stood out to us based on other portfolios we saw on her website. We were fearful that bad weather would be a factor, as we booked several weeks in advance. Marta was able to calm our fears by stating she could be flexible should there be bad weather on the day of our renewal. Thankfully, we had a beautiful sunset at Villa Monastero and weather was never a factor. Marta made us feel relaxed while taking photos, and was able to capture our love in every picture. She is very talented, and gives great direction. Marta provided the initial proofs expeditiously, and set expectations for each step thereafter. The pics were so amazing that we had a tough time narrowing down our selection. We ended up ordering additional photos than what we had told Marta. She was so great and understanding. I would recommend Marta to couples on their wedding day or vow renewal, or any special event you want photographed. Beginning to end, we couldn’t have had a better experience!

  Marta knows what she is doing

  Marta is a very talented photographer. She knows what she is doing. We found her through our wedding planner and communicating with her is very easy. Our pictures turned out stunning and magical. Her style is light, airy and romantic. Her great eye for photography combined with her friendly personality made our entire experience perfect.

  I first contacted Marta several months prior to my engagement with the hopes of proposing at Lake Como. From her first response, it was clear that she was a professional able to accommodate a photo session to each unique couple's characteristics. She went above and beyond in all areas and captured the essence of the moment. We highly recommend her for any event or special occasion that you require a photographer.

  Marta is an exceptional photographer. The photos she took of our family are beautiful, the light and landscape unparalleled. But, more than that, Marta cared about the conditions of the day we were shooting and was open to moving due to rain. She was communicative, professional, and friendly to our daughter, who was not so happy about the long photo shoot. We will definitely be using Marta during out travels again!

  My boyfriend and I travel to Italy each summer but we never return with any nice photos of the two of us, as one of us is always behind the camera. This year I decided to book a photoshoot with Marta in Bellagio so that we could get some nice vacation photos together. Marta had excellent communication in the days leading up the shoot - she answered all of my questions, made wardrobe suggestions and even sent a detailed list of beautiful places on Lake Como where we could take the photos. On the day of the shoot my boyfriend and I both felt very awkward at first, but Marta helped us to feel more comfortable. She gave great direction and knew exactly where to go for the best backdrops. After the shoot was complete she knew that we were anxious to see the photos so she stayed up until 2AM in order to send us a gallery the following morning. We were amazed at how beautiful all of the photos were - Marta is so talented and we feel so lucky that we found her! Her eye for photography combined with her friendly personality made our entire experience perfect. I highly recommend booking a photo shoot with Marta!

  Our experience with Marta was amazing. She was friendly, helpful, and very patient with all of my questions leading up to the shoot. We were a little worried booking someone overseas and not meeting them beforehand, but communication was always timely and she made us feel very comfortable. We knew the area we wanted to have our ceremony and pictures done but we didn't know much about venue locations, but Marta was able to help us with all of it. She gave us a list of venues she recommended and we chose the one we like best, and helped us get in contact with the venue. Marta made the whole process so easy. Our photo-shoot went wonderful and the whole experience was so perfect for what we wanted. And our pictures turned out amazing - so much better than what we could have ever wanted. Marta did an INCREDIBLE job and I highly recommend her. I hope she can do another session for us if we are ever in the area again!

  We had a photo session with Marta Guenzi on our honeymoon in Italy. It was such a perfect experience and I wouldn't change a thing! Marta speaks fluent English which is a big advantage for foreigners.
  
  The only minus that I can name is that the pictures were so good that it was very hard to choose only 30 pictures...But this is of course a very positive problem :)

  I was searching for a professional photographer to take family portraits during our vacation and found Marta using a quick google search for photographers in the Lake Como area, and we really liked the work she posted on her website. Unfortunately, we ran into some travel issues and had to rearrange our session with her. She was most accommodating - even traveling down to meet us in Tuscany and going down a day early to scope out locations for our photo shoot! We eventually selected a site she recommended in a small town called Certaldo, and the pictures turned out terrific!

  Very Disappointed

  We had a lifestyle photography session that we had travelled to do with Marta. We saw her photos on the web and really liked the quality that we saw. The photos we received were, for lack of a better word, horrible!!!! There is absolutely no match to what her website photos look and we feel we were conned, as the money is taken after the photo shoot.
  
  We will NOT be hiring her again.

  Marta did a family photo shoot for us in Lake Como this summer and it was a disaster from start to finish! She didn't know how to direct the photoshoot and give instructions. She also didn't know how to engage our 2 year old daughter in order to get her enthusiastic about being on camera. Overall it felt as if it was the first time she did a photoshoot!
  
  In addition, she made us wait over a month to receive access to an online gallery of UNEDITED photos; they weren't even slightly retouched and she didn't even bother removing images on which for example our eyes were closed or that looked unflattering otherwise. Most images showed our faces out of focus and this wasn't because of a preference for a shallow depth of field which can look very flattering, but simply because she doesn't know how to photograph.
  We following made our selection out of these horrible images which were 'edited' within a few hours which is impossible if you want to do a good job.
  
  We were so incredibly disappointed with the result of the photos and feel we have been crooked by Marta.
  She took our money at the end of the photoshoot and clearly didn't care about delivering professional quality images.
  
  The photos on Marta's website are deceiving because the ones we received aren't even close to the quality on her site. We also believe that the reviews here are fake.
  
  In the meanwhile, we have contacted a law firm in Milan to start legal action against Marta after she ignored several of our messages requesting a refund of our money. We have also reported her to tax authorities in Italy who will do an investigation on her business.
  
  Please beware of this photographer as she will take off with your money and produce very poor quality images in exchange!!
