We chose to consider the Marriott because it was close to the church where we had our wedding. When we went to talk to Laura, we were excited to get started planning our reception and was sure this was going to be the right place! The reception space is really beautiful without much additional decorating. There was plenty of space for buffet, bar, and dancing. Laura walked us through how we could arrange the room and she was very helpful when we dropped off our decor. We wanted some special order things and she took care of all of that for us and kept in contact throughout the planning. We also had a tasting for the food. There are a variety of foods to chose from and once we narrowed down some of our choices, the chef was there for any special requests we had. Laura and the staff handled getting the cake and cupcakes placed, tables and other aspects of the room set up — the room looked beautiful for our guests! The food got many compliments! The chicken was moist and the pork roast lion was cooked just perfect!
We enjoyed the evening and I can’t give enough thanks to Laura and the Marriott staff for such a nice reception! The venue was great.
