Great experience with Evan and his team. Easy to get in touch and Evan walked me through how to serve our guests in a way that made sense. We planned to do two signature cocktails, and then a selection of beer and wine, which was recommended by Evan and it worked out perfectly. As the bride, I was always here or there mingling with family as much as I could, and I trusted Evan and his team to take care of our guests, and they definitely delivered. Really happy with how easy he made the planning!

Our perfect day
We met with Evan in person to discuss our wedding, our relationship, and the vision we had for our special day. From the moment we sat down with him, we felt an immediate connection—it was as if we had known him for years.
Evan created a beautiful, personalized ceremony that perfectly captured who we are as a couple. He was flexible and accommodating when impending rain forced us to consider a venue change, and throughout the entire process, he made us feel truly valued and cared for.
The ceremony itself was the perfect balance of fun, lighthearted moments and heartfelt sincerity. He had us and our guests laughing one moment and tearing up the next. The service was so meaningful and memorable that several guests asked where we had found such an incredible officiant.
I cannot say enough wonderful things about Evan. It takes a rare talent to capture the essence of a relationship after just a brief face-to-face meeting, but he truly has that gift. He played a huge role in making our wedding day absolutely perfect, and we wholeheartedly recommend him. -

If you're thinking about choosing Married by Evan as your wedding officiant, do it!! During our reception, the one thing we were told time and time again - "wow, your officiant was incredible/amazing/wonderful" and Evan truly was. He made the wedding process clear and easy. We had a few email exchanges leading up to our wedding and then after a quick chat prior to our ceremony, it was show time and Evan delivered. It was like he could read our mind about the type of ceremony we wanted and how best to deliver it to our closest family and friends. He balanced all of the emotions of our big day with laughs, wisdom and genuine care for our moment. It's not a surprise in the slightest to us he's in such high demand. Couldn't be more happy with Evan and the ceremony. Our original plans for an officiant fell through relatively last minute and Evan was able to hop in and get everything done. The day of the ceremony he helped us navigate the walking queues and was able to answer all of our last minute questions and calm our nerves. The actual ceremony was fantastic, he took our requests to heart and covered everything we wanted. Don't keep searching, go with Evan, you won't regret it! -

We were trying to pull of a quick, simple elopement on a very short timeframe. I contacted Evan through his website and he responded within just a few hours. He referred us to a photographer who recommended a beautiful location on the beach and we booked them both with only 5 days advance notice. One phone call with Evan is all it took to plan a perfect ceremony. If I could give him 10 stars, I would! -

From the first communication with Evan right through when he left our wedding, Evan was professional, kind, and accommodating. He structured our ceremony based on our personalities and wants.
He arrived with plenty of time to go over details with us individually about the legalities of the marriage licenses which was very appreciated. He talked us through the ceremony details which helped this nervous couple feel much more relaxed.
The ceremony itself was absolutely beautiful and beyond our expectations. We truly could not have asked for better ceremony.

We had an intimate elopement on March 6th with just me, my husband, our dog, a photographer, and Evan as our officiant. Evan made the entire process completely seamless. He is a great communicator from the start and asked thoughtful, detailed questions to personalize our ceremony. He also provided great vendor recommendations. I ended up using one of his suggested photographers, which made everything even easier. On the day, Evan was professional, engaging, and created a beautiful, meaningful ceremony just for us. We truly appreciated his guidance and support, and we can’t recommend him enough! -

As we evaluated potential officiants, it was important to us to talk to them to get a sense of their style and vibe. When we spoke to Evan, we knew we were on the right path. He took the time to help us understand his style and how he would present the ceremony as well as understand the differences in his pricing structure. We chose the option that includes an in-person meeting a few weeks before the wedding. That was so clutch. I think we met for almost 2 hours. He really took the time to get to know us, both with asking direct questions about our story as well as learning what we wanted to include or not include in the ceremony. Leaving that meeting, we were confident we had made a good selection. He was professional but relaxed and because he really took time to get to know us, we felt confident that he was going to deliver a the type of ceremony we wanted with the right combination of solemnity but also relaxed without being too casual. We also paid for him to come to the rehearsal, again, money well spent. Again, he was so professional and as all those last minute details were coming at us, I felt highly confident that once the ceremony started we would be in good hands.
For the actual ceremony I can not only say we were delighted but in fact many of our guests commented positively on Evan. He really delivered. His style was exactly what we wanted: professional but not stiff; he struck the right balance reflecting the solemnity of the occasion but the ceremony clearly reflected our talk beforehand. He seamlessly wove details from what we had shared in such a manner that they flowed with the more scripted parts of the ceremony. At no time did it feel like he was on script and then had a "insert detail here" part- it just flowed and was as if he had custom written it (which in fact he had).
We would certainly and without any pause recommend anyone looking for an officiant to work with Evan. He was absolutely fantastic. -

Married by Evan truly gave my husband and I the best experience when we were getting married and I would recommend him to anyone on the hunt for an officiant. Evan was very communicative and considerate during the process and asked all the right questions to make sure that the ceremony ran smoothly.
My husband and I surprised our friends and family with surprise ceremony, where everyone thought we had already been married/eloped. Evan helped us do this, even introducing himself as my coworker to grandparents and family.
During the ceremony, Evan’s words were just perfect for us and will be ones that I never forget. We had multiple people come ip to us after the ceremony and tell us about how fantastic our officiant was. I highly recommend Evan for your officiant needs, as he is very respectful, knowledgeable, and he can keep a good secret! -

Best Officiant ever!
We cannot say enough AMAZING things about Evan. He was kind, understanding, incredibly accommodating, and made our day feel effortless. We had unexpected weather and had to change our ceremony location last minute—he didn’t blink an eye. When we realized afterward that we had forgotten to sign our marriage license, he drove to our Airbnb to help finish everything. His communication was top-notch, and he went above and beyond… he even stepped in and tied one of our groomsmen’s bow ties when no one else could! Truly a wonderful person and an even better officiant. 5 stars isn’t enough! -

Evan was an absolute joy to have as our officiant. He was very responsive to any emails we had. He communicated the process to obtain a license very clear and was very confident in his speaking. It was a joy to incorporate a Taylor swift line (as the swiftie bride was very happy with), he helped guide us easily in saying our I dos, and recited a beautiful Poem at the end of a twisting river as a metaphor to a marriage which we loved a lot. If I had to do it again, I would choose Evan! -

Evan was truly the best decision we made for our officiant. From the moment my husband and I first watched his videos, we were amazed at how perfectly he captured each couple’s story—it felt as if he had known them for years. That’s what drew us to him the most.
His communication, professionalism, responsiveness, and speaking skills were all 10/10. By the end of the night, several guests were asking how long we had known Evan or requesting his information so they could book him for their own ceremonies. Evan was wonderful to work with! He had us do a Facetime call about a month before the big day to get to know us, ask us questions, and put together the ceremony. Plus, he let us answer some questions later that we wanted to think about first. He was personable and on time to our rehearsal and wedding and waited patiently until all the bridal party had arrived for the rehearsal. He explained everything to us that we needed to do paperwork wise in a simple and easy to understand way especially since there was so much going on that weekend. The ceremony was sweet, funny and concise just like we wanted. Chase and I were nervous to stand up there for the ceremony and he made sure the ceremony was memorable and included lots of anecdotes about us and our relationship while still using his sense of humor to engage our guests the whole time. We could not recommend Married by Evan enough and we are so grateful we were able to have him officiate our wedding. -

Having Evan officiate our wedding was one of the BEST decisions that we made during the wedding planning process.
Conor and I settled on the Gold Wedding Service which included a fully customized ceremony that absolutely exceeded our and our guests expectations. Several guests asked if he was a personal friend of ours and almost EVERYONE we talked to commented on how our ceremony was beautiful, thoughtful, and personalized. We even had a few comments saying it was one of the best, most engaging ceremonies they have witnessed.
From the moment we first met with Evan, he was incredibly professional and very clear that he was there for us, to help us plan the ceremony of our dreams. Meeting with him helped us remember that while all the details of a wedding are important, it is a day to celebrate our unique love story and lifelong commitment to each other. He was an incredibly grounding presence during the last weeks of planning (chaos), especially during the ceremony rehearsal. His years of experience were evident and helped us and our family to feel as prepared as anyone can be for one of the biggest moments of our lives.
Additionally, he helped us, our maid of honor, and best man execute an absolutely FLAWLESS handfasting ceremony while reciting our vows. This was a dream come true for us and it was a highlight for us and our guests.

Evan is our Hero! A unexpected health issue rendered our original Officiant unable to perform our ceremony less than 24 hours before our wedding Sept 19th. The morning of our wedding Evan responded and was able to rescue us and our ceremony by shuffling his schedule and accommodating our 4pm scheduled ceremony. He went above and beyond with his professionalism and kindness and flawlessly performed our ceremony with humor and compassion. Short notice but the most amazing service!
I cannot put into the proper words how much I appreciated Evans service for our ceremony. A very good family friend and Judge back home had a medical issue at home at the last minute and her could not make the wedding to officiate only about a week out. We prayed for them and that we would fine someone with as much heart as the judge has.
Well, enter Evan. We went with his package that has a video conference and we got to talk about all the finer things my wife and I loved about each other. Even some silly things in our lives. Evan said he would tailor the ceremony to the level we wanted, which was a little bit of humor but more of the standard ceremony. After that we didn't talk to him until that day.
Not knowing what he was going to say made us worried but we were told by Janet (Lali's Loft) our planner that we would not have to worry. She was so right! The ceremony was absolutely perfect. The beautiful standard formal ceremony with a few laughs to put us and the gathered family and friends at ease.
A wonderful guy and what a perfect ceremony. Highly recommend the video service prior to your big day. -

Evan went above and beyond to make our elopement experience exactly what we wanted. I was reassured that we made the right decision when he sent over a structured and detailed email to feel out what we were looking for. Like most folks we spent some time researching who we wanted to help us “make it official” on our big day. We could not have been any happier with our choice to have Evan be our Officiant. Evan was terrific to work with. He was professional and very personable. Evan took the time to get to know us as a couple, and our back story and put together a wonderful ceremony that was meaningful for us. Leading up to the day we had a few “curve balls” thrown at us with regards to location and timing and Evan was understanding and flexible. Evan was the perfect officiant for our wedding. My wife and I met with him to see if he was the right fit for our ceremony and immediately we knew that he understood our wedding needs. We hired him immediately. We met with Evan about a week before our wedding date so that we could align our expectations for the ceremony and he was more than accommodating. We asked for a non-religious ceremony and he provided as requested. On the wedding day itself, Evan stopped by each the bride and groom's prep room to offer a calming word and to check in on us. The ceremony went without a hitch, and he made sure to make it all about us. Thanks to him, our marriage license paperwork was flawless and we had no issues on that end. Married by Evan is definitely a company I would recommend to anyone who needs help with getting married. Evan was very quick to respond when I enquired about their services, had good detailed information, and was very accommodating. When we were unable to book him due to a scheduling conflict, he had another officiant on his staff, Hector, who was equally knowledgeable, friendly, and quick to respond.
Given the overall level of anxiety with getting all of our vendors in place, both Hector and Evan were wonderful with putting us at ease and making us feel like the ceremony was in good hand. Hector did a great job asking questions and making sure the ceremony was tailored to our love story. 20 out of 10, would recommend to anyone! -

We hired Married by Evan after reading all the glowing reviews from couples who had used him to officiate their weddings at our venue, Gala 417. From our very first email, Evan's prompt communication and straightforward packages made the booking process a breeze.
We chose to meet Evan in person for lunch so he could get to know us better and craft a personalized script for our wedding day. He came prepared with thoughtful questions and took many notes, making the entire experience enjoyable and stress-free.
We also asked him to attend our rehearsal, and Evan’s jovial and lighthearted personality was a breath of fresh air.
