Long story, short: If you have the opportunity, BOOK MARK!! Mark was amazing! From the initial meeting with him, we knew we had found the perfect fit. He was friendly, organized and thorough. He talked us through each part of the ceremony to help us decide what we wanted and took it from there. We could have made it as custom or generic as we wanted. In the end, all we really did was provide the readings we wanted and Mark did the rest!! We ended up wanting to have one super customized (potentially never done before.. :] ) part of the ceremony and really relied on Mark to come through with something really cool -- and boy did he deliver! The day of the wedding, he arrived with plenty of time to review the game plan with us. He was efficient in having our witnesses sign the license and getting all the paperwork taken care of. As for the ceremony itself, he crushed it!! He delivered a perfect balance of romantic and fun, which is exactly what we were looking for. To the crowd, they would have never know prior to the wedding day that we had only interacted with Mark virtually. We received so many compliments throughout the night and even still, 3 weeks later, about the flow of his ceremony, his charisma, his personality and humor. The day of the wedding is so stressful for Brides and Mark took away any stress related to the ceremony part of the day. I'm so thankful we found him. We are so happy with our choice to have Mark perform our ceremony and would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone!!

Simply the best!
Look no further then right here for your wedding officiant- he deserves more than 5 stars! Choosing an officiant seemed like such a daunting task as my husband and I are not very religious but wanted to include some touches. I was not sure what the ceremony would look like and felt a lot of anxiety choosing the right person. Wedding wire helped me stumble upon Mark- a father of a friend from high school. I felt so lucky to have that connection to such an awesome, kind family who I could trust. From our initial call I knew he was our guy and the rest of the stress was gone from there knowing our ceremony was in his hands. Mark laid out many options and was extremely well informed and patient explaining the various choices he offers. He was very knowledgable about going about obtaining a marraige license/certificate & made the process seamless. On the day of, Mark delivered the most high energy, engaging, and perfectly balanced ceremony. We may be biased, but it truly was the best ceremony we've ever witnessed. We both had so much fun and Mark's infectious smile takes all your anxiety/stress away. He also lends a hand when the emotions get high. Mark worked extra hard to properly pronounce my husbands long, greek last name and absolutely crushed it day of!! Perfect Officiant!
Mark was amazing! He spoke with us ahead of time so he could personalize everything so it would fit us. The day of, he arrived early so he could go over everything with us one last time and he did a great job. Everyone got a kick out of our ceremony!
Mark did an amazing job as our efficient for our wedding in September! When we first got in touch with him, he asked all the questions and got to know us as a couple and what we wanted to do for our ceremony. We didn't want a stuffy ceremony (with readings and such) and he made it so the ceremony was light hearted and celebrated the coming together of our two families. He was also so helpful with how to go about our marriage licenses and such (because we didn't know how to go about that) and he pointed us in the right direction. My husband and I got married on May 8, 2021 and Mark was hired as our officiant. When we were looking for someone to marry us, we came across Mark and had a virtual consultation with him. After speaking with him for about an hour (maybe even more!) we knew we wanted him to marry us. Mark was extremely professional and responsive. We booked him more than a year out from our wedding date and as we got closer to the date, Mark made sure we had everything we needed and made sure he had everything he needed to give us the perfect ceremony. Mark mixed in humor with romance and reality with love. It was seriously the most perfect ceremony we could have asked for. Mark was the perfect man for the job. Outstanding Officiant
My husband, Patrick and I liked Mark D. from the moment we first spoke to him. His personality draws you in and his warmth and authenticity are expressed with every breath. He is so kind, funny and enthusiastic. It’s so easy to see that he genuinely loves what he does. If you want a memorable ceremony don’t hesitate to contact Mark he’s definitely a keeper!

Made our day so special!
From the first time we contacted Mark until our wedding was over, Mark was attentive, genuine and kind. Although we had a very very small event, he treated us as though we were his most important clients.
He went out of his way to meet with us twice beforehand to discuss and plan our day and accommodated our special requests without question.
If it weren’t for Mark, we’d still be trying to figure out our vows!
On the day of, he arrived early and made us feel so comfortable.
During the ceremony he made us laugh and made us cry, sometimes simultaneously!
He provided us with vows and readings that were beautiful and perfectly suited to us.
His performance was flawless and all of our guests commented on how beautiful the ceremony was and what a great job he did.
We’re so happy we found Mark and we highly recommend him for any type of wedding you’re planning.

Worlds Best Officiant
The first time my fiancé and I met Mark, we instantly new he was the man for the job! We met with him for about an hour and by the end of our meeting it was almost as if we had known Mark our entire lives! He was everything we had hoped for in an officiant for our ceremony. He was kind hearted, sincere, and genuine, with a personality that left you laughing as well! Mark kept us so relaxed the day of our ceremony! Sometimes your nerves can get the best of you on your wedding day and that definitely wasn’t the case! If your looking for the worlds best officiant, look no further! Mark is your Man! Despite COVID 19, it goes without saying that Mark was also very patient and understanding through all of our ups and downs. We hired Mark on the spot, that's how good he was. We loved his ideas and knew he was the right fit for officiating our wedding. Our ceremony was beautiful and was the perfect balance of laid back and heartfelt with a little bit of humor thrown in. I booked Mark two years ago because I seen him at a friends wedding. He was super entertaining and kept the crowd going. I told my wife that I want Mark to marry us. So we booked him. Come wedding day, he was super professional and once again kept the crowd entertained, afterwards all my guests came to me saying how awesome he did and how funny he was. Great experience just what we were looking for!
We have had many guests ask us how long we’ve been friends with our officiant! I think that speaks for itself. Mark was like a friend and we had only met through facetime a month before. He did a great job of keeping this fun and casual while still honoring traditions, which is more our style.

Minister Mark is the Best!!!!!
Minister Mark officiated our wedding on September 21st, 2019. He did an amazing job and kept everyone involved and excited. After my first FaceTime conference with him I knew he would be our officiant. Both of our personalities blended so well together and during the ceremony it seemed like he knew my husband and I for years. He is personable and has creative ideas geared to younger couples like ourselves. Also his response time to emails and text messages are great! Our family is still talking about how unique our ceremony was. If you want to have a fun yet heart felt wedding ceremony go with Minister Mark.

Let Mark Lighten Up Your Nerves!
I cannot say enough great things about Mark and how thankful we are we found him for our special day. Both my husband and I are naturally quiet people so speaking in front of an audience is not our thing, especially when we’re full of wedding jitters. Yet, Mark made us feel like a billion bucks before walking down the aisle. Where was he when I had Public Speaking classes?! During our ceremony, my cheeks hurt from smiling so much. He made something that is normally so dry for guests tons of fun and relaxed. Multiple family members asked about him and said how wonderful he is. I highly recommend him if you want a wedding ceremony that your guests will remember as much as you!

From our first meeting, we knew that we wanted Mark to marry us!
For our initial meeting, Mark was very flexible and came to our house when it was convenient for us. Mark gave a great first impression; he was polite, personable, warm, and funny. Exactly the personality we wanted to perform our ceremony. He spent a lot of time explaining the ceremony and he took time to answer any questions we had. We knew right from the start that we wanted Mark to perform our ceremony, and we immediately booked him for our date. Throughout the year leading up to the ceremony, Mark kept in touch with me, and answered any questions I had. He also helped me with the readings, music, and worked with me on some special things I wanted to happen during the ceremony. In addition, when we were totally confused about the marriage license process, Mark stepped in and took care of it. Mark was so easy to work with and he kept me calm days before the wedding! The ceremony was beyond my expectations. Everything that Mark had prepared to say was beautiful and sounded like it was specifically written for my husband and I. My guests thought that we knew Mark all of our lives. Weeks later, I still have guests talking about my ceremony! Thank you Mark for all of your help, for performing such a beautiful ceremony, and for giving me a memory that will last forever!

Perfect ceremony
We used Mark for our November wedding at Brigalias where he’s a preferred vendor; it was easy to see why he had that status! Mark was very supportive of us in the process leading up to the ceremony; he patiently worked with us to craft the ceremony that we envisioned. Mark helped ease our nerves the day of the ceremony especially with his knowledge of the venue and staff; he even helped the venue move our flowers from ceremony to reception. Mark’s ceremony was the right blend of light and traditional. Many of our guests commented on how great the ceremony was as a reflection of our personalities, and how Mark’s handling of the ceremony helped achieve that reflection. We highly recommend Mark to any couple looking for someone who is supportive and flexible, and brings the right balance of humor and respect to a wedding ceremony.

Great Officiant!
We absolutely LOVED working with Mark. My husband's family is relatively religious while mine is not, so it was imperative we found someone who could balance both of our wishes. Mark was everything we were looking for! He gave us plenty of options on how we wanted our service to go, sample readings and vows to help us really build a ceremony that matched our desires, and worked with us to get everything just perfect. His laid back style kept me very calm, and made the planning a breeze!
The day of, he interjected the traditional service with just the perfect amount of comedic interlude: it made us breathe a little up there, kept it light hearted, and really connected our ceremony to our nature as husband and wife! A bunch of people came up to me afterward and said how great he was.
I would absolutely recommend Mark if you are looking for an Officiant who will deliver your service, your way!

Mark is a WONDERFUL officiant and I highly recommend him!! We got stuck with no one to marry us a month before the wedding and somehow, him being extremely booked, he just happened to be free on our wedding day. He was soooo nice and made us feel so comfortable during our ceremony. He went over everything with us before our ceremony and made sure everything went flawless. If you are looking for the perfect officiant for your wedding, look no further!

When planning a wedding one of the most important things that often does not get the attention it deserves is finding the right officiant. The ceremony is the kick off to what is going to be a magical day. My husband and I had our ceremony at our venue without any religious ties. We are laid back people who try not to take life too seriously and were looking for someone who could match our personalities.
We talked to multiple officiant options, prior to talking to Mark. After that conversation we knew that he was our guy. Mark has a heart of gold and his ultimate goal is to make your special day perfect. He can crack a joke while maintaining a tone of seriousness/organization when necessary. He helped me come with ceremony order, overlooked our personal vows and recommended readings for the ceremony. He was able to make our ceremony light hearted enough to avoid too many water works, it was perfect. His smile and personality the day of our event kept us calm during stressful moments leading up to the ceremony and help control nerves during the ceremony.
Following our wedding we had countless complements from our guest about everything and consistently one was how much people enjoyed the ceremony and the officiant. If I had to do it all over again I would pick Mark every time and would recommend him to any future couples who are about to take the plunge.

Mark is one of the nicest people you’ll ever meet. He’ll make your wedding day extremely special. He will make people laugh; he will make people cry happy tears and his smile brightens up the room. My wedding theme was fairytale and I asked him to help us come up with fun vows that will make everyone laugh. He did just that. He found the right words and made it perfect. It was a pleasure to have mark as our officiant. He goes the extra mile and I 110% recommend him. Mark was recommended to us by our venue Brigalias and I am very happy we took their advice. He is an extremely sweet person, he works with you and makes everything go perfectly! I can’t thank him enough!

From the moment we met Mark we knew he would be perfect to perform our wedding ceremony. He instantly made my husband and I feel comfortable. He answered any questions I had quickly and was there to ease any nerves I had. Our ceremony was sweet and heartfelt. We have received many compliments on our ceremony. Mark made our day perfect.! Mark definitely helped make our day as special as it was. As we were overwhelmed leading up to our wedding day, Mark took loads of stress of and assured us that the ceremony was one less thing to be worried about. Mark absolutely knocked it out of the park for our wedding! Guests kept asking who he was as he presented as though we had known each other for years. He made our day wonderful and we are so glad he was able to work with us! Thank you mark for making our perfect day even more perfect!

Having Mark as our officiant for our wedding was honestly the best decision we had made throughout our wedding planning. He was the officiant at our friends wedding and I was immediately so impressed with his ability to capture our friends love so perfectly and most importantly make everyone in the room feel a part of the beautiful moment. Directly after our friends ceremony, I walked up to Mark and asked for his info for my wedding that was over a year away at that point. Throughout my wedding planning, I was extremely indecisiveness and unsure of most vendors, besides Mark. I can honestly say that was the easiest decision for me. My husband and I are an interfaith couple, I am Jewish and he is Christian. Leading up to the wedding, my parents preferred that we have a Rabbi perform our ceremony but we both preferred an officiant perform an interfaith ceremony. There was a lot of pressure but I was confident with our decision. Throughout the entire process, Mark was the most pleasant, outgoing, calming, hilarious, and helpful person! He truly calmed me down and always found a way to remind me that everything was going to be perfect. A personality like Mark’s, is what every couple needs during what can be an extremely overwhelming time.
On the day of our wedding, words cannot truly express how incredible our ceremony was. It was everything we wanted and more. Mark’s presence alone was so loving and comfortable. He has truly mastered the perfect balance of love, romance, fun, and lightheartness. Mark was even flexible about implementing Jewish traditions (breaking of the glass), and presented this very well while keeping the crowd engaged .There was not a dry eye in the room from start to finish! Our ceremony was truly magical. To this day, people continuously talk to us about our ceremony and how it was one of the best they have witnessed. Even my parents! We thank Mark from the bottom of our hearts for being who he is and helping create the most perfect ceremony!

Mark was absolutely GREAT! He matched our personality perfectly for our ceremony. . . Friends that we have known for years asked how long we had been friends with him because of how comfortable we were with him and how well he matched us with the entire ceremony. I can't say enough great things about him; If you are considering Mark for your officiate I highly recommend to book him and not to give it a second thought you will NOT regret it.

Mark married us on 10/21/17 and he was great! I am a shy person and I wasn't necessarily looking forward to saying my vows in front of 140 people but he kept us both very relaxed. He set a light and fun atmosphere and guided us discreetly through everything. He is such a fun person and I would recommend Mark to anyone looking for a wedding officiant!

Mark was so easy to work with and very personable. We didnt have the time to write our own vows so Mark not only wrote beautiful vows for us but he also prepared a beautiful reading for ceremony. Mark did a great job of keeping things fun and heart felt, it was like having a close friend do our ceremony. My husband and I loved Mark and definitely recommend him to anyone wanting a caring and friendly officiant to perform their ceremony on their most special day.

I found Mark while searching for an officiant here on Weddingwire. My husband and I are so grateful we listened to all the other reviews about how awesome Mark is. He is so easy to work with. He gave us a bunch of great ideas for how the ceremony can go based on our preferences; helped with writing our own vows and gave some cool ideas for readings during the ceremony. Mark has such a professional; yet relaxed fun demeanor he just put us at ease throughout the whole process. After the ceremony, so many friends and family members were asking if my husband and I were "friends with the officiant because you looked so relaxed with him, and having such a good time up there!" It was perfect, we couldn't have asked for anything better. So if you are lucky enough that Mark is available for your big day, we promise you will not be disappointed. Mark was recommended to us by our DJ. It was the best suggestion. We contacted Mark a year before the wedding, since I was of course very anxious to get things started. He met with us right away and we knew he was perfect to marry us! My husband and I had a circus themed wedding and Mark made it fun but yet so intimate and wonderful.
