  Marquis is thee BEST

  We had the best experience with Marquis Entertainment. We could not have asked for better. He is organized, professional but fun, and made the experience very memorable. Everyone we have talked to about the wedding has mentioned my DJ and how great he is. We would highly recommend Marquis for a wedding, party or event because he is very engaging with guests, even remembering names. He is organized in the planning process. He was our officiant and ceremony coordinator as well and did such a wonderfully efficient job. Thank you Marquis!!!!!!!!!

  The best vendor- BOOK NOW!!

  Do yourself a favor and hire Marquis as your DJ/coordinator/officiant for your wedding! He is such a fun energy while being so efficient & to the point. I was the venue coordinator at The Century for one of my couples and it was such a pleasure working together. He has so much knowledge for his couples to ensure they have a fun and amazing day, while also remaining on time and organized. Awesome experience and great vendor to add to your planning committee!

  Marquis is THE KING of Weddings

  Marquis was listed as a preferred vendor for our venue and as a DJ. When I called to inquire about DJ services, Marquis said that he could be a one stop shop - day-of coordinator, DJ, master of ceremonies. Knowing nothing about wedding planning, we thought "it couldn't hurt to have a pro!"
  
  From the moment we had our consultation to discuss our vision, I knew Marquis was the right choice. We had one consistent vision for the theme of our wedding, colors and flowers could change, but the theme had to be HAPPY all the way.
  
  We could not describe it. It just had to be a feeling everyone got about our wedding from start to finish. It had to be in the invites, the food, the music, etc. And somehow, with all of our romantic rambling, Marquis understood what we wanted.
  
  His planning tools were easy to navigate. He was available when we had questions. He vibed well with my group. I don't know how he simultaneously whipped the rowdy groomsmen into shape, lulled me out of my wedding stress, and actually got my grumpy dad to smile, but he did. Marquis is infectiously charismatic while being a strict professional. Every moment happened on time and according to plan while everyone enjoyed every moment without feeling like things were scripted in the slightest.
  
  I can't say enough good things about Marquis.
  
  One additional note, that made just a beautiful memory for our perfect wedding, Gerald, the DJ, needs a raise for dealing with the absolutely off-the-wall song requests at the end of the night. At one point, I asked my niece what song she wanted to hear, and she said "anything from The Sound of Music". And Gerald provided. And then we all learned the corresponding choreography to Do Re Mi from my niece. It was amazing.

  Amazing Work by Marquis

  Marquis came recommended from the Dante Club (the wedding venue) and since our first phone call with him, we knew he was the right person. Marquis maintain constant communication with me and my fiancée and helped us with our vision for the wedding. Marquis made the ceremony and reception a day to remember and we will forever be thankful for his professionalism, charisma and friendliness. His staff was also more than accommodating during the wedding. I have already received a few calls from wedding attendees asking if Marquis does other events. I will continue to recommend his services to anyone looking to make their event a memorable occasion.

  I never write reviews but after working with Marquis, I had to write one. Marquis and his son were exceptional! Their professionalism and eye for detail was such a relief. Marquis was very thorough and detailed throughout the process and wanted to ensure our day would go off without a hitch. They were a huge hit with us, our families, and guests. Their positivity was infectious - everyone was smiling talking to them and ranting to us (the bride and groom) about how great of an MC and DJ they were. Most importantly, they kept the momentum and flow going, there was never a dull moment. I'm a major penny pincher but Marquis and his son are worth every penny and more! We are so grateful for having them on our special day. Book Marquis today, you won't regret it!

  Marquis was very personable and attentive throughout our wedding planning and day of. He was quick to respond to messages and helped with any questions or concerns within 48 hours or less. He was present at the rehearsal and walked us (the bride, groom and officiant) through the ceremony lineup and then the bridal party. The rehearsal and day of went smoothly. Leading up to the reception he helped keep us on schedule and our guests entertained with even a few guests pulling us aside to tell us how much they were enjoying how Marquis was emceeing. He remembers everyone’s names, including most of our guests. He’s great to work with and we highly recommend him!

  Marquis was a pleasure to work with. He is so much more than just a DJ, he took over the rehearsal and did a great job at keeping everyone focused and organized. Had a ton of great timeline paperwork for the wedding that helped a bunch. Marquis should be your #1 option as a DJ if he is available for your day.

  Gets and keeps the party going

  We just used Marquis for our wedding a few weeks ago. Best decision we made!! We received so many compliments from guests about him. The dance floor was never empty! He also helps you stay organized before the big day and makes the music planning portion a breeze. Thank you Marquis!!

  Marquis made our ceremony and reception run smoothly. His unique humor made the guests laugh and it kept everyone entertained. He took the lead on adding more songs to our choices (songs in Spanish) that made my family want to get up dance. It was a beautiful ceremony and reception thanks to Marquis entertainment.

  Marquis is not only very professional to deal with, but he is easy to get ahold of. If he misses your call, he immediately gets back to you. He runs your wedding rehearsal, which I loved. And he works with you to completely customize your wedding music and everything else involved in planning your wedding! When you hire Marquis Entertainment, you get your money’s worth. He is definitely worth it! I would definitely hire him again!

  We were so lucky to have found Marquis. We were married at the Grand Island Mansion in walnut grove. From day one, Marquis put our minds at ease with his experience, knowledge and genuine excitement for us. He conducted our rehearsal, ceremony and reception. He made our perfect day run smoothly and we couldn’t imagine doing this without him. He was above and beyond our expectations and we will definitely be calling for any future events.

  Marquis was our officiant and DJ/MC for our wedding on Friday July 23rd 2021. He made our wedding day so special by making the celebration “like a movie”. He helped keep us on schedule and organized through out the evening. Marquis went over and beyond in making our day amazing as well as keeping all of our guests entertained. Marquis is very passionate about what he does and is well experienced in both being an officiant/ DJ MC. I highly recommend Marquis for your Special day.
